Even though my repair was not covered under warranty, Andy and Victoria were extremely easy to work with. They were responsive and helpful in getting my car back to me as quickly as possible. As an owner of a Genesis G90 I especially appreciate the valet service, car loaner, and delivery. It’s one of the reasons I bought this brand. Round Rock Genesis did not disappoint.

Genesis of Round Rock was exceptional to work with. I drove from Dallas to purchase my GV80 from the team in Round Rock. The price they quoted is the price they honored for my purchase and trade-in. The team was very communicative and pleasant to work with.

Service department curbed my wheels and tires and the manger said you have no proof it’s not my problem and kicked me out after arguing over it. Take plenty of pictures of your vehicles when dropping them off and inspect them when you pick them up! Would of saved me a lot of money.

I came in to this dealership because Im shopping around my lease and have been very interested in the G70. I talked to one of the salespeople, and asked what the general 2021/22 G70 price would be to lease (2.0T trim, $37,000 MSRP) for 36 months/15,000 miles. He asked what I was currently driving and paying, and made a weird comment about how this would be a big leap up even though my current car has the exact same MSRP. He told me it would cost me around $800 per month and said our leases arent friendly. He ended the conversation with no attempt to work with us and we shuffled out. I cant imagine that a year-old G70 could possibly cost that much to lease. If yall are busy, we wouldve been happy waiting. Im not sure if its because Im young or something, but I can easily afford to get a G70. Ive wanted a Genesis for a while, but I guess Ill look for another company.

I have had my 2020 g80 for about a 1 1/2 years and noted the service is really unfriendly and non responsive. Recently i took my care in for the “free” oil change and was told it would be 2-3 hrs (always COVID excuses) and was told I could wait or have someone pick me up; never did service tell me of the car loan or pick your car up free service. I found out by talking with my sales rep as i waited 2-3 hours for my oil change. Fast forward to now as i am scheduled for a recall; hence, i asked for loaner car or pick up service. I was told that department would call me. 3-4 days have passed and no call; i know lets blame it on COVID staffing. Not impressed with Round Rock Genesis promised services. I wonder if the south Austin service is better?

Jonathan has been very helpful with every step process to get my car. This was my first time purchasing a car so he help me understand everything when getting a car. Amazing customer service skills. Anything I needed or had a question about the car he was on top of it. I recommend whoever goes to this Hyundai location to ask for Jonathan.

My wonderful experience was with service. The car has been fantastic, but needed a new part. Appointment setting was easy, service adviser Kammi was accommodating and had a loaner waiting for me, clean and gassed when I arrived. New part was installed, oil was changed and I was on my way. Thank you for an experience that matches the awesome car!

We have owned 3 Genesis and if we had brought our first two to Round Rock Genesis for service it may have been our only one. Contrary to other reviews, it is just a Hyundai dealership and if there is a dedicated Genesis service rep and service lane we have never been told of its existence and we get a different advisor every time we make an appointment online. Our biggest complaint is that even with an appointment the work requested sometimes does not get done and rarely gets reported to Genesis. I just received a call from genesis saying their records indicate my 2018 G80 has not been serviced since July. I have service records from this dealership dated September and the end of November. Never reported to Genesis. Genesis is requesting a copy of repair orders which I will gladly provide. BTW the service history feature on Genesis App is for individuals benefit only and does not link to service records.

Genesis is going through some growing pains and the customers are the only ones impacted. Going back to luxury soon. The car is perfect, the people are ok its the lack of attention to detail and the current state of the Genesis business model that is broken. This is my 2nd Genesis but next year will have me looking at the competion. Improved rate by a star as Mike reached out which is a move in the right direction.

Round Rock Genesis is currently located at Round Rock Hyundai. Same location, except there is a small section of the showroom floor dedicated to Genesis vehicles. The service drive also has a dedicated service rep and lane for service. Since I recently purchased a brand new 2018 G80 5.0 Ultimate AWD, my review is for the Genesis portion of this dealership.I actually visited Round Rock Genesis back in January and was very close to buying a similar G80. I worked with Rick in sales and despite his great service, I ended up buying a different vehicle due to personal needs and finances at the time. Rick was happy I found what I wanted, even though it wasnt there. No pressure at all.Fast forward 3 months later and Im now in the market for a new vehicle again. Extensive research and test drives ended up with Genesis right there on my top 2 list. And of course, working with Rick. After a brief phone call and e-mail exchange, he quickly remembered my detail oriented personality, and we jumped right back into the whole process.Except this time, I ended up actually buying a vehicle! He was very flexible in adapting his role in the process to my knowledge (Im a car guy) as he helped locate the seemingly rare AWD V8 model I wanted. As well as working through the relatively straight forward negotiation, delivery, and buying process. He kept me informed each step of the way and followed through with any promises made.Over the years Ive bought a lot of vehicles and visited countless dealerships. Audi, Mercedes, GMC, Dodge, etc. You name it, Ive probably been there. And I have to say Rick and his team are some of the best. No pressure, straight forward numbers, no dealer adds, etc. Rick in particular probably knows the most about what he sells than anybody else Ive dealt with in a long time. Which I have to say, is all rather refreshing.At the end of the day, the G80 made the most sense from virtually every perspective, the service was great, and trade/vehicle price was fair. Looking for a Genesis? Check these guys out (and ask for Rick).I will update the review after Ive visited the Service department. A quick tour was impressive. They have lots of Genesis certified mechanics as well as a high-tech air-conditioned bay area. The only negative I can see is that because of this, they appear to be quite busy, which can lead to long wait times if youre not able to schedule in advance.Hopefully thats a temporary situation and look forward to the Genesis Experience at Round Rock Genesis.
