I love what theyve done to this place and trust I should know... because I remember when it used to be SAFEWAY ....WAY WAY WAY BACK IN THE DAY....and that SAFEWAY was nice maybe 4 stars but the VIVA Supermarket all 10s across the board...10 for CLEANLINESS in a time when clean is everything (because people have died in the world because somebody else didnt clean something)THANK YOU VIVA!Post COVID-19 ERA the floors are like glass but you dont YOUR STEP you aint gone slip.10 for the DELI... I have lived in Napa and Sonoma and those rich folks keep their grocery stores clean, but LA Tapa Tia aint got nothing on VIVA...I want eat everything...fresh meats,polutry,whole catfish fish, on ice, with their eyes & foods with words I cant even pronounce....looks so scrumptious and it dont reek of seafood like BEL-AIR.eew squid!10 for VARIETY...I feel like speaking Spenglish when I go their because theyve perfected a Mexican&American Food choices under one roof so I have maple donuts with Mexican cookies and apple bars and cake that taste and smell like great grannies 7up pound cake...YASS10 for AMBIENCE AND DETAIL... I I dont know if youve ever noticed but when you going to the major grocery stores the the lighting in the grocery stores its very pleasing and calming... It makes you want to stay and thats exactly what I want to do and VIVA SUPERMARKET...I will come back again and again.Yall can have all of my money...BROWN PRIDE... CALI-MEXICO Del Paso.IT WAS THERES FIRST... High prices you would think they would be reasonable for being in the area its in.

Love my neighborhood market theyre always so helpful today they had everybody in and out in such a timely fashion and it is Labor Day and they were staff sufficiently as always check them out

My favorite store. Great fresh 🍓🍑 fruit and veggies (wide selection). Meat dept has wide selection. 🍗🥩🥓🦞🍤. There deli Guacamole is sooo 😋 delicious. Made fresh there. 😋💯

When I go to this particular store I always get what I look for... It is Well stocked with grocery items, a little bit pricey for the bottled water... Vegetables that good... The meats are good...

Youre average smaller grocery store. Its aimed the Latino community, with Latin specialty products as along with mainstream items. Decent selection, fair pricing and nearly adequate help

Store has big 🚌 RV & car parking lot right next to it for short-term free use, for customers. Store is managed well with being organized clean, well stock shelves, good customer service, has a good variety of food for different🌎 cultures. Cashiers are friendly with a smile. Store is in a up & coming area thats being slowly being 🏚🛠🏗 Revitalized by the city. Its in a convenient location right next to the USPS 📫post office, by a small 💈hair shop hidden in the corner. Its also by the Rainbow store with a big variety of liquor, and close to the freeway i-80 🛣Reno.

Nice little store

As far as grocery stores go, Viva is fine. Often has sales and is typically clean and organized. The cashiers are always nice and so is the very tall man that I often see stocking the shelves. However, the parking lot here is terrible! Im not sure how much control Sean Lololee (the owner and now elected official) has over the lot used for parking but it needs to be fixed and maintained. Ive popped a tire twice here due to nails and other debris being littered everywhere. I rarely go to this store because of that reason. A good sale isnt worth the fear or damaging my car.

It has just about everything I can utilize except vegan food products,such as cheese,vegenaise,& vegan meats made from soy,cashews,& other legumes including deli cuts & ice creams(dairy free).

Great local supermarket. They usually always have everything I need, without the long lines and hassles. Fresh meat, vegetables and deli, too. If you are lucky and get there at the right time, you can find a gentleman out front selling elote, fruit drinks, and more.

A nice little market. They have nice meat counter offering lots of fresh cuts og meat and a lot of pre-packed meats including smoked turkey. They have a nice selection of fruits and veggies as well.

For the only grocery store it works....it is a bit spendy but what do u expect....its there and its better then quick stop

And I go into this Viva its on Marysville boulevard for a hairbrush or come and they dont have a hairbrush or cones they didnt even have lighters

Liked this lil store . got every thing u need., good prices. And friendly employees. 1 thing though .if YOU want your groceries packed in bag a certain way (like all the heavies and canned food on bottom and raw meat and veggies on top) I suggest pack it yourself.

Quick and easy to shop always has in stock what I am looking for and the store is clean. The employees are friendly and willing to assist the disabled I have seen.

The people who work here are very friendly. They have the basics. I just dont trust their meat. Sorry its that theres usually an odor on that side of the store.

This is definitely the better of the two vivas, its cleaner, well stocked, a little smaller but, the meats, cheeses and produce always seems fresher here. The staff is kind and polite, especially in the butcher area. Theres always parking and I have yet to have a bad experience. Now if prices were better this place would get a 5 star from me for sure.

Nice store. The staff here, especially the old African American fella, are very kind, but it might be nice t see more staff on the floor. Sometimes I forget my glasses and its difficult to find someone to help me. Otherwise great joint!

The sale paper sales are never priced in store and the people who work there ether dont speak any English or act like the dont know what your talking about when you try to get help for a sale, even when you have there sale paper and show them.

Love their carnerceria, they have precut taco meat. Pastor, Asada, Pollo, both marinated and not. Not super busy or old stuff just sitting. Clean market. Nice people. They do sell alcohol, kitchen stuff, and of course everyday cooking groceries, frozen foods. Etc..

Such a wonderful surprise! I went to Viva market today after church services, and found everything there that most conventional stores dont carry, and they did. Very well-stocked so in my opinion this makes Viva a Head above the rest.😊👍👍👍PS. The employees were very pleasant.

This grocery store is proffessioally operated. It also has a small town flavor with the younger kids and just the right mix of different ethnicities to make the customer feel comfortable. The right mix of women and men working together also adds to the comfortable atmosphere. Then you add the specials on the meats that a good grocery store should have. The regular grocery items, nevermind a nice appealingly looking store. Overall a very nice place to shop.

It has all your favorite & ol style Mexican products, brands & ingredients.

Place to shop for reasonable prices but had everything I need. Today when I went shopping they had a special Two Flats of 20 eggs for $5 if you do the math thats 40 eggs for $5 very reasonable

The only reason I went in here I was going to my moms house and she wanted me to pick her up some fruits 🤣😜 I got caught up in this store I ended up grabbing some other stuff well anyway when it was time for me to pay wow I payed less here because they dont charge taxes wow thats great they saved me some money and I grabbed some more stuff at the check out and all staff that worked there were funny and friendly also very kind to me 😃 and I want to thank them for being kind 😌 have a great day

Great store in a rough area. Park where its well lit and be aware of your surroundings. Produce here is amazing, prices are pretty good, and selection of groceries is good too. The only bad thing about this place is the smell that hits you when you walk in the door. Get past the entry, and the smell is gone. Not sure why it smells just there...

Not the cleanest, or have the friendliest employees, & their prices are rediclous! The fact that their the only store around for a few miles and is convenient to those wirhout transportation are sorta stuck with zero options........Plus, the Viva down the street on Nor wood ave is bigger, stocked to capasity, has more to offer, FRESH Pan dulse not stale, 2--3 old Mexican sweet bread......Just sayin

This is a lovely, small feeding oriented market. The produce is good, and the meat is excellent. The meat prices are surprisingly low, and there is great variety. Its my goto place for meats.

Nice big store clean and organized. Plenty of statt.They have good usable baskets. Always have good sales and plenty of options to choose from when shopping. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot.

Viva is great except they have this attitude that everyone coming in wants to steal from them. If you bring a backpack to carry groceries, they want you to put it on the floor with no one guarding it and store doesnt accept any responsibility for theft of your backpack if its stolen. We are not all thieves. Treating all your customer base that way is not going to get more customers.

I enjoy going shopping here when we need to is just a few blocks from the house & everyone is really friendly too

Your meat Department need to be kept much more cleaner & Sanitized.its gross to look at Especially the cutting Tables.all that Blood.was told it was food coloring for the Meats.& Dirty floors Back there.at least Market Basket meat Department was a lot more cleaner & Sanitized. Scrutinized by the public (customers).. PS I am a local Business owner on the same Block.Marysville Blvd. & Heard of these Complaints by local Shoppers venting on this Issue at my Store.occasionally... Everything else about your Store is 5 Star...PS need to Hire some Grant School kids or local Blacks from the Area.Diversified.... Thank you..Rating Status.. 5 star
