Ive been going to Firestone stores for decades in all of the states Ive lived in through the years. What they all have in common, is one thing. Honesty. The long lifespan of the cars Ive owned over the yearsis because of the preventive maintenance that Firestone has provided to me. This State Street Saginaw store is one of the best in the country. Thanks Ben and staff for taking care of my Malibu.

Incredible service, I was traveling through the area on a Sunday, I ended having a tire emergency, as a sidewall split and was on the verge of a blowout. They got me in quickly, and replaced my tires, as well as checked my vehicle over. I appreciate the prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service.

Went in early to get radiator flush was told 1 min after jumping in car pulling it in garage they wouldnt do my flush cause I had a bad head gasket due to hydracarbons in my fluid so I left went to other Firestone they did the flush checked and found zero hydracarbons in my antifreeze so u tell me if they just didnt want to do the work and lied or if it fixed itself in a couple mile drive?

Called a couple days in advance and made an appointment for a tire rotation. Was very clear about the model of this travel van. Showed up and service was refused... falsely claiming the vehicle was too large for then to lift. Just more disappointment from this shop.

I would never go back here or to another Firestone. I wont go into great detail lets just say this I take care of my vehicle never been out of the dealer as far as Service, should have never took it here. And the stuff I was getting done was very simple, so how did my engine light came on before I pulled out of your parking lot (when my light wasnt on before I got there) unbelievable. But my car has not ran right since!!..

I went in for a routine tire rotation. The service technician found a nail in the side wall of my tire. Because I paid a little extra for tire protection previously, I only had to pay $35 for a new tire. The fact that they caught that saved me time and money. I appreciate that.

Been coming here for about a year now started with oil changes good price on oil changes I think they might do it all here every thing at a good price clean fair mechanics seem to be on there job 🔥👍🏼🔥

Friendly staff, quality, fast work done. On the downside, I was quoted one price on the phone and it ended up being more expensive for the same thing when I went to the store.Update: 5 months later. I got a hole in the tire I purchased there. (I bought 4 new tires) They said they were unable to fix it. Wanted me to buy another new tire. Had it plugged no problem at another tire place. Yesterday, I got another hole in a tire. AGAIN they said they were unable to plug it and wanted to sell me ANOTHER new tire. I left and had it plugged elsewhere with no problem. The other shop could not figure out why it would be a problem to plug. I will never purchase anything there or go in for service. My family has been going there for years and i will make sure they do not return either.

On Christmas Eve at 330p, my family and I got a nail in one of our rental car tires. We have to drive 2 and a half hours tomorrow morning. We felt so bad that they had to work after they closed at 4p on Christmas Eve! But Matt and his coworker were so kind and fixed our tire. They were very understanding and professional. We are so thankful!!

We were headed to Saginaw from out of town when suddenly our brand new tire started to loose pressure. It did not go flat but it was obviously loosing air. We stopped at this Firestone. The guy here told us our brand new tire was a lost cause and could not be repaired because the hole inside of the tire was bigger than the outside damage. He said that happens sometimes when something punctures all the way through a tire.He then tried to sell us tires, and since it is an all wheel drive reminded us that we should replace all 4 at the same time. But the tires on our vehicle where Brand new, I am talking just over a week old. So we decided to go back to where we got the tires (Dealership) so we could see what they had to say.Thank goodness we did. When I told the repair guy that this tire was not repairable he basically laughed. and said it was a 5 minute fix. The entire repair cost $11.As you can imagine I felt that was wrong so I gave this Firestone a call the next day asked for the manager. I told him my story. After looking up my file he claimed the reason that they did not repair it is that the tire damage was a slice not a puncture. Which is NOT something the 1st guy had said or even implied. The manager went on to say it was corporate policy that they could not touch slices. Even when I tried to explain that it was a puncture not a slice and had in fact held air and never went fully flat. He just kept saying no it was a slice. What ever... but that is not what the 1st guy said and the dealership had no issue repairing it. But I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt on this so called corporate rule.First I looked up Firestone policy online as to when a tire should or should not be fixed. I could not find the word slice anywhere but I did find one reference to cuts .If the tire has sustained serious damage in a crash, such as big cuts or tread separation, it should be replaced, not repaired. No ifs, ands, or buts.*I took that to mean it would have to be a big cut to be irreparable by Firestone standards. but I could not be 100% sure of where corporate stands on slicesSo I called a Firestone here in my own home town and asked if they could repair a slice in my tire. They told me yes as long as its in the right place (my damage was) and that no wire belting could be seen. (None visible on mine.) by the end of my chat describing my slice size and placement he told me to bring it in so he could look at it and for $33 and some change he could probably do it for me.Hmm...To round this whole thing out I came here to Google reviews to leave this bad one and found myself reading many bad ones with different stories but similar experiences as far as being taken for a ride and manipulated into spending money that does not need spent. and twisting the facts to cover their own behinds. The only thing that I wish is that I would have read the google reviews on this place before we stopped. Then maybe I would not have driven over a 100 miles home on a spare tire with all wheel drive. This bad business, is bad for my car.

For $500 in tires you would think they would take care of a TPMs (tire pressure monitoring system) Service light. I was told that the extra 12.32 was to work on them and 27.96 extra for a Kit so they dont leek. But they had no problem trying to charge 94.01 for a coolant flush because the coolant was low. (i toped it off myself and it took less than a cup worth of coolant to top off) 37.78 for wiper blades and 75.59 for an alignment. All i wanted was new tires for winter and to have them work properly with NO service light. Im sure the tires are good quality, but i will be taking my vehicles somewhere else.

Our family, with 5 cars, have been coming here for years. Guys are great, and I never feel like they push something we dont need. They will let you know on the rare occasions that they cant do the job right away or it needs to go to the dealer. Always done right and in a reasonable time.

Took my car there for an alignment got it in and out fast. However it started making a noise right after the alignment that it never made for. I went back and they wanted to charge me $30 to check it out. I will be taking my car somewhere else.

Firestone took care of my car while on vacation. I have some lifetime plans with them and it is nice to know that they will assist no matter where I am when the car breaks down

Recently had an experience that was handled very professionally and could have turned out much different. Matt, Gary and the staff at Firestone went above and beyond to rectify a problem that may or may not of been caused by a previous Firestone mechanic.I had 4 tires installed on my sons 2006 Pontiac G6 back in February of 2018. They recommended struts and shocks be replaced because the new tires would chop from the bad struts. Unfortunately I could not afford them at the time. Fast forward to July, and I buy a strut and shock package online and planned on installing with my son, doing the work ourselves. To start the job, first thing is to remove the tires. In the process we strip out 3 lug nuts on the front 2 tires. These lug nuts were so tight even Gary at the shop stripped a couple and had to drill out the studs. Not sure what happened, they said they were swollen but it could have been the previous mechanic decided to hammer these on with the impact. In any case, I was very worried about how to proceed. Matt said bring it in they would take care of me. I bought the 20 lug nuts, they did all the labor, rotated the tires and didnt charge for labor. This project took 3 hours to complete. They were worried I would be upset about the time,,,,I was worried I would get a $300 bill. Basically, I am beyond satisfied with the effort given to rectify this situation. A situation that could of had a much worse outcome. A big thanks to Matt, Gary and the crew for their understanding, effort and professionalism all around.Enjoy the moon pies, guys.Thanks again, Joe

Had an apparent miscommunication but they called me back and made things right. My problem wasnt solved but they were very proffesional.

The guys here are great. Every time I take my car in they always fix it right the first time. Prices are reasonable.

Had work done here and part wheel bearing went bad in less than a year. Had part replaced by another shop because I did not it was the part being bad. Took paper work and part in to get some allowance in the part. No go because replacement work was not done and in their shop. I could not drivre the car to there shop due to it being broken down and did not know the cause. They would not work with me on this. Lost a long time customer not the way to manage the business. Will never go back to this place.

I had my car looked at by my mechanic and he gave it a good bill of health other than the tires. I took it to firestone they replaced them. All the sudden my car is shaking and firestone told me i needed wheelbarrings. They tried to charge me almost double what they cost other places. I wish i had never gotten anything from them.

Had a tire good tire broke down and installed and rebalanced on good rim at a good price, in and out in 20 min. It was off the car.

Quick and professional service

Took my truck in this place for brake problems, they come back saying it was an issue with wheel bearings so got that fixed because I didnt have much of a choice workers are fairly quick but prices are awful. I was charged $1350 for that repair job and after I got out of the shop my truck was Roughly Vibrating all the way home starting at speeds of 50mph. Keep an eye on these guys...

As any other tire place. Trying to sell someone $1200.00 tires for a $300.00 car.

I was traveling through and had a headlight out. They told me it would be over $90 to replace a single light bulb! So I went down to auto parts and paid $15 and had it installed in about five minutes. Oh, and auto-parts puts it in for free if they have time. Firestone Garage told me that it was a one hour job!
