We have many, many Scott products, and theyre as good as they come. Whether taking a Voltage to Nine Line, a Gambler to Deer Valley, a Spark to Gooseberry, racing on a Scale, or skiing wherever, Scott products are some of our favorites and as good as they come. That their NA HQ is in SLC makes them that much more likable.
I have had 2 high end carbon frame Scott bikes in the last 13 years. Both developed frame cracks under normal riding conditions due to manufacturing defects. The first frame was replaced under warranty but they flopped around like a fish out of water looking for excuses not to warranty it the second time. And they did not replace the frame. I even wrote the CEO. No response. Their behavior was pathetic. Beware of this company!! My experience is that their products are of low quality, their warranty is dubious and their customer service is horrible. Why would you buy a bike with only a 5 year warranty when most of the major brands have a lifetime warranty and make better quality bikes? There is a reason that Scott only has a 5 year warranty. All Scott seems to be interested in is making a quick buck. Their customers and their reputation are not important to them.
We wanted to recognize Scott Sports USA for going above and beyond by putting their employees health first. They requested additional deep cleaning services from Vanguard Cleaning Systems during this COVID-19 outbreak to help keep their employees safe!
I have a scott bike and have now gone 300 miles with it and I absolutely love it and plan on buying more scott bikes in the future
I can confirm that Scott wintersports products are just as bad as bike frames with no customer or warranty support. Buyer beware! There is a reason very few outdoor retailers sell their products
