Picked up a cake to celebrate a promotion and got a delightful treat!! This cake was amazing and fresh. Also got a canoli that was amazing as well and picked up a Mexican Mocha for the ride home. Definitely worth the stop in!!!

Variety of pastries and desserts. Has a warm welcoming feeling and nice decoration. Crème brûlée is my favorite dessert so I was happy to find it here. Their espresso is rich and tasty to balance out the sweetness.

I bought the pistachio strawberry and the chocolate marquis and they were both really delicious. I liked the pistachio strawberry more because it was unique and the flavors went really well together.My only tip for the place is to maybe change the layout or how the line forms so people can see the dessert while waiting in line? There’s always a line and so people feel pressured to decide quickly without having much time to see all the options. I know it’s hard since it’s a small space, but maybe a virtual menu or something will help the line.

This is a very small dessert shop, but they have a great selection of cakes by the slice! The desserts are delicious and always beautiful! They are a tad on the pricey side, but in my opinion, worth it. Definitely one of my favorite places to go when Im craving a slice of some yummy cake.

For us that love to indulge our sweet tooth, Figaro understands us and is here for us. I have been here many times and never ordered anything I didnt love. And I mean the close your eyes and moan with no shame kind of love....and repeat. First time trying their coffees, I got the Mexican mocha and it is just delish.Going in for those crepes next.

Absolutely fantastic service and the treats were delicious. Everything was fresh, and there is a huge variety of flavors to suit anyones taste. I had a latte with my passion fruit tart (amazing!), weve had several gelatos, the carrot cake, and the triple chocolate cake. The staff made it such a delightful outing for my daughters and I. They really went out of their way to make it fun for us and they are dog friendly too. Weve been back twice already since discovering Figaro about a month ago. Great area of town, street and garage parking close by.

I enjoyed the deserts here, and its name shows exactly what you get. Because I have yet to try everything and truly get the full picture, however, this rating isnt conclusive, and will be updated when I visit again. There is one thing I tried, the new York style cheesecake. It was the small size, but very creamy, and quite delicious. it came with a small rolled strip of chocolate on top that was very well made and tasty. Id recommend coming here on an empty stomach with friends, so you get the most of your experience!

I don’t wait in lines... but I waited here. Line moved fast, service was quick. Gelato was FIRE! And the passion fruit is the best I’ve ever tasted in my life. But this Rasberry MasterPone Jones took the cake frfr.

I stopped into this cafe after eating dinner in the area and had amazing gelato. All their desserts looked delicious and the coffee smelled great. They were open late and had great music playing. The line was out the door but customer service was super quick.

The texture of the gelato is absolutely incredible. I have never had a gelato with such a smooth texture. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars is because its far too sweet.

Such a great little spot to stop for dessert. We ordered the crepe with Nutella, banana and strawberry. It was so delicious and we also go the peanut butter bar with chocolate on top. It was good but definitely not as creamy as I anticipated. Their chai tea was amazing with just the right hint of flavors. I will definitely go back.

We bought the Apple caramel pie, Oreo cheesecake, snickers pie, and white raspberry cheesecake. They were all delicious, the Apple was the favorite, it was perfect, apples were tart and delicious, cinnamon flavor with a yummy crust. The snickers pie is as you’d expect, it tasted like a snickers candy bar with chocolate cake and cheesecake in the middle and Carmel and peanuts on top and the Oreo and white raspberry were thick and dense with delicious oreo crusts.

The cakes are fresh. This place has so much potential, but it’s not there. Panna cotta is way too sweet. The tiramisu is more of a cheesecake, and the fruit tart has a weird cream filling texture. For $50 and the reviews, I expected better.

Nice place for pastries and ice cream. The pastries are good but are a bit too sweet and lack some refinement. But it is definitely a good place and hopefully this will push to have more of these places and improve overall choices and quality in SD. It is also nice that they open long hours.

The desserts were amazing! I didnt know what to get so I asked the worker what she recommended, and she said shes a total chocolate person! Yes! I love chocolate so I went with her choice of this little chocolate mouse cake and it was rich and chocolaty! I also ordered the pistachio strawberry, which tasted perfect together with the chocolate one! Balanced out the richness! Nice little place to have coffee and dessert! Super fast & friendly service. It is incredibly difficult to find creme brulee and this is quite good for premade. The dark chocolate moose was delicious as well.

Choices, choices! There are many options for sweet treats here, including gelato, cakes, macarons and more. My personal favorites are the carrot cake and tiramisu, but definitely wouldnt complain about any of them! Its a nice place to relax, sip coffee, and enjoy some good conversation. Highly recommend.

This is a very vintage and scenic place downtown and it is great for photography of desserts if you are into that. I loved the desserts they were presented well and tasted amazing. I have taken proffesonial photos of their red velvet marquise.

Really good! Shared a tiramisu cake with my wife, that was very tasty. We had it with two very good espressos. Took home a key lime cheese cake slice that was equally delightful. Well be back.

Stopped by for gelato tonight, raspberry + cookies/cream was delicious. I got an iced coffee with oat milk which was not very nice at all + service was ok not too friendly in fact. Deserts all looked fabulous but after a big meal the gelato hit the spot.

First time here and enjoying a perfectly spiced carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and vegan chocolate mousse made with coconut milk. I love every bite!❤️ There are chopped almonds in the carrot cake — I prefer without.

This is an amazing dessert Cafe with an abundance of amazingly delicious and beautiful dessert choices to choose from. Although the inside of the Cafe is small and gets crowded quickly, the service is efficient and friendly and the desserts and drinks along with the Gelato served here make the Figaro Dessert Cafe a must visit place for anyone visiting San Diego

I had the most delicious and perfect vegan dessert!!!! It was a coconut bar that was tasty and unique. Impressive selection of desserts for people with special dietary needs. I appreciate this very much, as someone that cannot have typical desserts. I will definitely return and recommend this place!

I am sad to say I did not like the service we received. :( We order the strawberry and banana crepe for $9.50. It was dry and way over cooked. The strawberries were tiny and a very small amount. The crepe also had two half slice bananas. It was not enjoyable to eat. The second crepe was the lemon custard. It was much better cooked and tasted a little better. For the price of $7.50 I dont think it was worth the price. We order a white chocolate raspberry coffee. It didnt taste at all what we order. We were very disappointed because I read the reviews and went to give it a try. I will not go again, customer service was poor. It is sad to say it fail.

Delightful specialty coffee and dessert shop in North Park. Stumbled on this place after dinner across the street. I ordered the turtle cheesecake and a mocha. Incredibly flavorful and delicious! The best! We have lived in mission valley, chula vista, and El cajon and we have always gone out of our way for the German chocolate cake and turtle cheese cake. Great desserts. I little pricey for a slice of cake but you wont regret it!

Amazing!Parking was an issue, but well worth the drives in circles to find a parking spot.It was my daughters birthday and they even had a candle to put on her piece of cake.The tiramisu was great! And so was the gelato. They do sample the gelatos as well. We had the amaretto, and it tasted just like a chocolate covered cherry.Very friendly staff as well.

Bought 2 slices of desserts 1 tres leches and 1 key lime pie & 6 macaroons. The size of the slices was small and the entire outside of the desserts & frosting on both slices taste like fridge as if they been there for so long, they where not fresh also could tell because the fruit inside was bad already and I could taste it. I did enjoy the cake part it was ok. The macaroons where good but tasted artificial. For the price of almost $30 Would expect more quality check on the desserts also the girl that was working was not friendly and welcoming, not only for this but when I asked for the key lime pie she said they didn’t have any when clearly they did!

Absolutely Delicious! Bought Vegan chocolate cake and Vegan Gelato for my sons birthday and it was a hit! I wish there had been more options as I was hoping to do a dessert bar array, but bought the last three servings of the one vegan option in the case along with Gelato instead.

We received a great service. The man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful with our dessert decisions. The vegan chocolate mousse was absolutely fanomenon, as well as the delicious chocolate coconut cake! Good quality of coffee with choices of non-dairy milk. Overall, had a lovely time.

Their Gelato was very tasty and even their vegan flavors are delicious. It didnt feel like I got a sugar rush. Their fruit tarts are also very delicious and have a wonderful representation.

Best gelato ever

Ordered the pistachio cake with strawberry compote and the fruit tart. Both of the pastries were good. Fruit tart had a great custard filling though the custard was a little extra than my personal liking. Also the pie was a little thick in the middle, but nonetheless both of them tasted really good. Would definitely be coming back here
