I like the variety. They also have some GF foods available. Theres fun goods in the center aisle. Everything is less expensive and they have German sausages. It is a bag your own, so be prepared. Quick shopping trips are no problem.

Best boxed salad in Mira Mesa, hands down. Couldnt say why, but its the only place where the boxed salad isnt already rotting when we open it. Otherwise, the prices are great. Were able to get the majority of our weekly groceries here.

Possibly the best ALDI in San Diego. Easy parking, great covid cleaning protocols, super fast and friendly checkouts. Even when the line is long, it moves twice as fast as most groceries. Love the selection and prices here.

My favorite place for shopping since 2004 when I used to shop back in Illinois. Now it is here in California finally and prices for quality produce 2-3 times beating greedy and ripping off stores like vons, albertsons, ralpfs, whole foods and sprouts. They make triple profits of what you buy there comparing what you could have saved with the same quality products in Aldi! Good job Aldi!

This store is super clean, big and very well organized. You would need a quarter to get a shopping cart, if you lived in UK, this is totally normal but not for others. Shopping carts are huge unlike the other store.Shops hold a very good selection of fresh veggies that are comparively cheaper than many other stores here. Avacado 39c each is a bargain compared to a dollar in many other stores. Good selection of snacks, meat, cheese, canned fruits/veggies, jams/preserves, and lots more. Store wasnt too crowded when I went, I could pretty much manage myself in finding the things around in the store - sign post everywhere. Always bring your bag - they do have brown paper bags for 10c but I dont find them comfortable. At the cashiers be prepared to bag your own things - this was also common in the UK, so wasnt an issue for me.

Really low cost food items, lots of fresh vegetables and fruit. No fuss, enough choices to avoid confusing comparisons.

Yes, you have to put in a quarter to get a shopping cart and bag your own groceries with your own bags but I can appreciate cheaper produce in abundance and feel good about feeding my family with fresh foods without spending a small fortune. Aldi has a nice selection of off brand canned goods and cereals. Baking ingredients and good price for frozen veggies. The bottom line is that food prices are increasing every year and Aldi is a basic no frills grocery store but I am okay with that because it saves us money.

The 3, 4, 5 star reviews are fake. Been to this store 3 times since 2019 and walked out each time. One cashier, over ten people in line every time.

Miramesa location : When a specific yoghurt only one left in the fridge, I asked a female employee close to the fridge, if they have them more inside the walk in fridge. Yes reluctantly she went inside and holding that only yoghurt to match it. Then she came out with several yoghurts, handed them to me, then quickly walked away without asking whether they are correct or not. None of them are matching. She and several other employees seemed working under high tension causing bad athmosphere in the store, what did the manager or supervisor do to them? One customer seen purchasing several alcohol glass bottles, surprisingly a male cashier did not ask his ID! Even the buyer looks “old” enough, he must following the procedure by asking his ID!!!And also :During the peak of pandemic, plenty of customer did not wear mask and did not practicing social distancing, even some of employee did not wear masks properly (not overing their noses, ready to smell customer’s gas??)…

This is not your standard supermarket with tons of brand name choices for each item, rather its a market with a clean and efficient layout, good produce section, very good pricing, with frequent great deals. A great replacement for the fresh-n-easy that had this location before!

I didnt like Aldis when it first opened. Now Im a convert. Excellent produce, excellent meat and poultry. Plus surprise items. The Winking Owl wines were also a surprise. They are very drinkable if that is a word.

Great store, not the most friendly staff but the grocery finds here are great. And be careful people dont put real quarters in the carts and they take your cart at check out so we have gotten fake money back a few times

Love aldi! We eat so much fresh produce because we can afford it here!We eat home cooked meals every night and cut our grocery bill by 50-75%. Same brands as other retailers for produce. Other things are Aldi brand but I tend to find they are even better than the national brands most times.My favorite things here are the German chocolate, brats, brioche and the carne ranchera or chimichurri beef.

I really like Aldi for all my basic essentials; fruits, veggies, milk, bread, eggs. I love that its small and quick. However they go so fast they seem to double charge me for items I only bought 1 of at least every other visit. Since its cheap I dont say anything but it is annoying that its become a recurring error.

Awful. First I dont carry quarters in my pocket to buy a shopping cart, so Im not able to get anything to carry a weeks groceries.. OK, bad on me not knowing the rules of carts here, but first time here, and not starting out good.So decide to just buy a couple of small things I could jeep in ny hands for dinner, 3 potatoes, 1 onion, ground beef and beef stock.. Well guess what you cant but onions or potatoes for a dinner, not sold buy the piece. I dont need 10Lbs bag of onions or potatoes for one night. This place sucks. Really wanted to like this place, its very clean,good prices, and super slow.

No cold alcohol but there is a liquor store next door

Aldi is a smallish grocery chain Im seeing pop up in CA more and more. I got super excited when this location opened since its 5 min away. Nice selection, especially on Wednesdays when the Aldi Finds refresh. Also good place to get some basic groceries. They carry gluten free, organic, and vegetarian products.

This place is down the street from me. I call this a boutique grocery store. Great prices (surprisingly on par competitive with some of the bigger places) with food products you would not find.

Few interesting items such as funnel cake mix that I dont usually find in regular grocery store.

I recently have discovered ALDI supermarket and I am very impressed with the selection of goods. They have a lot of options for gluten free diets and almost all of their stock maintains a high quality standard while still being cheap. Definitely will be returning frequently for groceries.

The place is located in a commercial plaza with a very large parking lot. Inside the place you will always find well-stocked shelves and products of all kinds as well as those with the brand of the same company, which I have tried several and are very good. The meat is cheap and of good quality. They have a different way of packing but Im used to it

Great prices on produce and products. It will work for most basics but they dont have all types of produce all the time. If you dont care about name brand this is a great place to go. I would definitely suggest going here first and getting the remainder of your grocery list that is left after.

Best place for weekly grocery shopping. Very affordable basics, but also a wide variety of specials. I like the weekly finds. Aldi might be the only place where you go to buy some vegetables and walk out with a circular saw.

Very skinny blonde Caucasian female with the forearm tattoo has the worst customer service skills Ive ever seen at an ALDI. I asked to use my same cart at checkout and she gave the nastiest looks to me and was whispering to other employees about me. The other employee whispered to her just breath and calm down. For what? Asking to not trade the carts around? When I find out her name, I will update this review.

Looks like a newer store with some good buys. Not the friendliest staff though. And it was fairly busy with only 1 cashier open. Fairly long lines.

I think my favorite thing about Aldi is looking at the off-brand Cereals and trying to compare them in my head to the ones I know. Tons of parking here. Staff so-so. Small selection makes the store seem clean.

The store is incredible. They have there own brands of items, that mirror the name brands. The prices are the key to the place. On a budget, arent we all, you can get the best buy in the meat department. Hamburger 80/20 was $3.24/ lbs. They have fresh selection of meats, stocked daily. Roasts to Chicken and are very inexpensive, one of my favorite is the Teriyaki sirloin roast . They have a nice selection of wines as well. At the front of the store are merchandise items. The sell ice coffee machines $14.99. I remember the price because I want one. Remember to bring a QUARTER COIN youll need it to unlock a shopping cart. All the carts are locked together, to unlock one youll need a quarter. You push your quarter in the slot on the handle right side, and the locked cart will unlock. So if you want your quarter back you just need to return it to where you got it, and take the chain from the cart in front and put its key into your carts lock and it frees your quarter. Check outs a bit of a pain, you items come off the belt, scanned and dropped back in a cart. No young person there to bag for you. The store is new and cleaner, shelves are organized nicely and it takes a few trips through the Isles to find what youre looking for.

Great deals and groceries are cheap compared to other places. We didnt feel like missing anything, had a decent collection of everything - fresh greens, food, bread, bars and chocolates. Not a typical grocery store with too many varieties, but decent enough and would suffice all the needs. Staff is friendly as well.

Great bargains, but watch expiration dates closely, especially meat and dairy. To get a shopping cart, you need a 25c quarter coin deposit (nickels and dimes not accepted). When you return your cart to the store, do NOT use your chain. Instead, take the chain from the cart in front of you, after youve pushed into it. Dont forget your quarter.
