I had the absolute best west elm experience of my life here. Every staff member I encountered was beyond friendly and helpful. But especially the manager, Robert. He gave one of the best customer service experiences of my life. I called in to place a hold on a couch, and he made sure everything was handled from there. He patiently answered my hundreds of questions, helped me find other items around the store, and made sure the couch was ready for us to pick up. The amazing crew members even helped us load it up. This store and it’s staff are gems! Between the unbelievable discounts, customer service, and beautiful quality products - this place is truly amazing!

Had a very awful experience!!! The store manager with glasses is a very passive aggressive person, if they don’t like you for any reason, They will team up and make sure to make your shopping experience miserable. If at any point the sales person is making you feel uncomfortable it’s better you keep quite and don’t complain about them to the manager with glasses. If you decide to do so than he will make sure to give you tough time, while your shopping in the store.

Loved our visit today. It was the first time I have been to the outlet store. The people were amazingly friendly and helpful. We both purchased more than we planned but had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

I’ve been to this store on several occasions and purchased furniture as well as decor. During my last visit, Elijah was super friendly and helpful. I love that the store posts their inventory on Instagram. It gives you a chance to snag something without having to make a long trip there and chance it. They’re also great about checking their inventory for you over the phone, if there is something specific you’re looking for. Some items are in excellent condition, while many others have flaws, which is why they’re at the outlet and discounted. I definitely recommend going if you’re looking to save a little bit of money on quality furniture/decor.

These 5 stars is only for Elijah!! He have the best customer service in West Elm.

The store manager, Rob, was very helpful and kind to ask customers as were the other employees. Lots of options and good deals. We will definitely be back!

Tags on items say Take tag off and present at register to pay we took tag off one dresser and ottoman and we kept looking for more pieces to buy. All of a sudden we see a nice clerk putting a sold sign on the dresser. We told her we have the tag and you could tell she felt bad for it and said she would talk to the manager because only he could reverse the other transaction and he just said too bad and did nothing.Moral of the story: TAKE THE TAG AND IMMEDIATELY GO PAY or they will not honor their own instructions.

Good discount, large selection. From furniture to area rugs to kitchen tools. A bit crowded inside, sofas are very close to each other. Compare to normal West elms, the presentation here is more...down to earth...Good for treasure hunting, if you know exactly what your home need.

Have shopped here many times throughout the years and have had excellent customer service from Tanner & Daisy. I called today inquiring about items & was told by Melissa to message them on Instagram to receive assistance, I called back with an item number and was told by Melissa there were 3 of the items I was looking for but they couldn’t be located. I called back to check if the items had been put out by chance and was told by Melissa she was not going to look for the items & I should know how warehouses work. She was extremely rude, condescending, and arrogant. I have never been treated like this by any associate at this store and hope management will address her attitude.

So much great furniture for a great price. I only wish I could’ve bought more.

Great customer service!

We went looking for King size linen. The store is in a bit of a disarray. There were products wich looked like they were opened and stuffed back in the package. For an outlet store the prices were not what I expected. Especially some of the furniture items which were damaged. They do have a large selection of lamps and lighting, rugs and tables.

VERY GOOD DEALS on regular west elm items. Some items with damage, some without. You sometimes have to work for your discount and find the amazing pieces, but definitely worth the savings!! Remember people, youre getting amazing West Elm pieces at stellar prices! Staff is always very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable.

The West Elm Outlet Store in San Marcos is great! I found the perfect bench for my office with the help of Travis. He was the best part of my shopping experience. Courteous, knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. He even helped me take the bench out to my car. Now thats superlative customer service all around! Thank you Travis.

The store sells a lot of one-offs and leftovers. Person seems to be pretty good, but there is no returns. With selling odds and ends dont expect anything to match.they have everything from lamps to rugs to Kitchen Stuff to couches pretty wide selection of items but not much in the way of style.if you can find that one perfect item youve been looking for your doing good here otherwise I take a pass.

This is one of the best outlets I have been to so far. Here you can find just about anything. Definitely coming back.

Pretty good stuff. Usually damaged in some way, but you pay for lower pricing. Staff is helpful, but not anything like shopping at a non-outlet store.

I went into the store to buy bedding, as I walked in I noticed a sign that said 70% off all bedding. I found the bedding that I wanted and then took it up to register so they could tell me how much the total was going to be. The cashier then told me to do the math myself and wouldn’t help me. I decided to go ahead and buy it and I asked if they offered a student discount (as many of the stores in San Marcos do) and the cashier then very rudely said “nope.” After I then bought and walked out the cashier then glared at me as I walked out. This is the worst store that I have ever experienced in my life. I would avoid this establishment at all costs. After contacting the General Manger they did nothing to try and make situation right. Poor management and employees.

This is a fun store to shop in, they have good deals on west elm items. they do not have everything a full store has, but they have a large selection of items. You may have to look around a bit to find exactly what you need, but in the end you will find great deals

Nicole, the manager & Kaitlyn are extremely rude. Love West elm, so I was excited to come to the outlet. I had no help at all. I bought something without realizing pieces come separately and I wanted to exchange it for a different bed set that did have it all. They are final sale though on everything which no one explained to me, and I assumed only final sale was for products with the actual red tag. Why only put certain pieces with a clear final sale tag just to say everything is final sale? What was worse though is how disrespectful they were about the situation since they couldnt care less. Both were annoyed, smirked at me, and the manager laughed when I asked for their names saying not like contacting customer service will do anything as if I couldnt hear her when I was leaving. Unbelievable

Horrible customer service, the manager and the girl working the cash wrap. After driving two hours to pick up a chair I placed on hold...I arrive to find out that the chair was sold...I was 10 minutes late and reached out to let them know. This is the second time this has happened with this store. Everytime, I have been to the store the customer service has been terrible. Don’t hold your breath by putting things on hold and hope there is someone working who has people skills. CB2, will get my business from now on.
