Amazing care and service by all employees! The receptionist was so kind and sweet, and the doctor was so amazing and thorough! She took her time and explained everything I asked about and was just very competent and friendly! The employee at the place where you pick out your frames in the office was so kind and patient and friendly! They were really helpful and graciously helped guide me to the right glasses for me!The former eye doctor, who I have been going to for years and was really satisfied with was great, but if you want a place where they put 110% effort in every aspect of their service instead of how others just do it to get it done, then you should go here! 10/10 would recommend!

I recommended here when a family heard my previous eye doctor closed up with no notice. So I walked in with no history or baseline for the state of my eyes. I was immediately welcomed by the staff at the check-in desk. Provided with minimal paperwork that I completed quickly while they took record of my license and insurance information. I didnt have the insurance card, as many have stop printing, but I was presented with an email address to quickly share with them that information. Next I was welcomed by a gentleman that took me back for initial exams. It was very cleanly, he was very kind and even laughed at my jokes. I felt very comfortable and at ease in their office. Then the doc came in to setup my existing prescription as a start to my prescription adjustment exam. She was thorough and I love that she explained the results of my initial exam results, what it could look like, what my eyes actually look like and the areas of interest for creating a baseline for watching for any changes. She was welcoming, kind, and clearly loves what she does. Im thankful to be a new patient of theirs and look forward to establishing a long-term relationship with this office! Also, following my exam, I worked with the eye glass side of things and had picked out my new glasses, completed paperwork, payment, and measurements in just about 10 minutes. The young lady that helped me there was efficient and helpful in my few questions regarding cost and coverage. A great little office, close to home, and a happy new patient.

A first time patient, who hasnt had an eye exam in well over a decade. Everyone at the Santa Fe TSO was incredibly nice in helping me navigating through the changes in my eyesight. Because so much time had lapsed between previous eye exams, much of the machinery/tests of changed but the staff was glad to explain everything to me. If I could put 0 stars I would.Several Reasons why:1) Had an emergency and called their After Hours Emergency number listed on the website. Got a return call several days later. Whats the point of Emergency Number if you cant get help within 24hr?2) Wife got new glasses from their office. Was advised to see a specialist. The specialist is not available until August. (Covid backlog excuse). She started complaining about eye pain getting worse since the new glasses. I thought it would be a good idea to get a second opinion while we were waiting for the August apt. Turns out her prescription was wrong and needs to be corrected. Now TSO says its past the 90 days and youre out of luck. That we should have come back within the 90 day timeframe. Why would I go back to the same office when Im waiting for the specialist? How would I know the prescription was wrong? ZERO customer service. Gave them the opportunity to see the new scrip from the other eye center to show there was a mistake, but they wont guarantee it will be fixed. And I would still have to pay another visit.The original owner that used to work at this location many years ago was nice and very helpful. The new owner is not helpful.***************************************************Update to response to Owners reply below:We didnt get a copy of the papers you mentioned even though we asked for copies. Not possible to Read the return policy when you cant get a copy.I have family that also received glasses around the same time and has had issues as well. That is what prompted me to go get a second opinion sooner rather than waiting for the specialist (which we are still waiting to see) Its unfortunate that we waited to see a specialist (as your office advised) before contacting you about the issue. The mistake we made was following your instructions and waiting patiently for a second opinion. It costed Hundreds of dollars down the drain.

Dr.Tovias is amazing, very caring, and knowledgeable. She took the time to explainto me about my diagnosis and if I neededto be seen sooner than my appt date to just call. She truly cares about her patients.

They are very nice and professional. My wife went for a routine eye appointment and was fitted for eye wear. She went back a few weeks later and told them she was seeing floaters. Dr. Tobias examined her and found that her retina was detached partially. We were referred to a surgeon who immediately reattached it. Surgeon said it was lucky we caught it early.Thank you Dr. Tobias.

Absolute most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had!! She explained everything in detail!!

When I called to book the appointment I requested a trial pack of contacts to get me through until my appointment. I was told that I could not have any. I was forced to reuse my daily contacts! I told the dr and she comped one test.The environment has a strong negative feel to it. The dr is awesome but the other staff is severely lacking. There is more but I will leave it at that.

What an awesome experience! From being greeted at the door to a thorough exam, and a quick checkout, every single person was professional, courteous, pleasant, and knowledgeable. After many tests and a thorough personal assessment, I felt that Dr. Tovias was very personable.When I was checking out, I received a written eye care report specifically for me and a sample for dry eyes. The report included all findings, an explanation of each procedure and what the results mean. Dr. Tovias, as discussed, included in the report that I will need cataract surgery and her assistance will include nutritional therapy, consultation to select a specialist, doing a surgical workup, surgical follow-up exam. Dr Mayra will be involved all along the way. I couldnt be happier with this TSO and the employees. I even got some chocolate treats from the basket on the desk. I left with a smile! Thank you all.

The office confusion, bad glasses, bad services, and story changes gave me a VERY bad taste for this place. They even made an appointment without my knowledge. They changed their stories over what was needed several times. Id say STAY AWAY from this place. Way too many games.

I believe that the true mark of service is how you resolve an issue. I was very unsatisfied with my first round of glasses. TSO in Santa Fe went out of their way to resolve the issue, even rushing the reorder for me. The second set were perfect. They even gave me a bonus item to make up for the inconvenience. What a great staff who truly care and value customer service. I’ll be back next year

Everyone was very nice and took time to explain everything. Poor girl showing me how to put contacts in and take out had her work cut out for her. She was so nice and patient while I struggled through it...never made me feel like I was taking up her time.

I had such a great experience last week at the TSO in Santa Fe last week, I took my son back there for his eye exam yesterday. We had the same great experience yesterday, as I did last week. Staff was pleasant, office is clean, VERY MINIMAL paperwork for new patients,which was nice also! Another thing that was nice, is everyone that walks in gets all the new eye imageing. At the end of the exam the doctor will ask you if you would like to pay the extra for it if your insurance doesnt pay. If you dont want it its fine, either way. Its nice thats theres no extra wait time to get this done, becauseits already done and the doctor can pull it up and go over it with you.My teenage son commented that He liked the doctor there! Which was great since theres never much feed back with teenage boys. The staff was also helpful helping him pick out frames instead of just turning us loose to pick something. They are also knowledgable about your vision coverage and the amounts allowed on everything. We are going to pick a pair of prescription sunglasses also next week after he trys out his prescription on his regular glasses a few days. Great place, very convenient for me, and very simple online appointment scheduling available!New patient at TSO in Santa Fe today. Office staff was great, I didnt have to wait, and appreciate the girls checking my insurance coverage with nothing more than my husbands employer and date of birth because I wasnt sure who it was. The Doctor really explained things in detail when it came to some of the imaging done for older eyes which was nice. They also have a great selection of glasses and sunglasses!Update: I received my glasses in just a few days surprisingly, and a pair of transitional contact trials to try also! That was pretty quick turn around compared to the week to 2 weeks Ive always waited at other offices over the past 40+ years.

The office worked me in at last minute for an emergency visit. I was having problems with blurred vision and they were able to get o me right away. After several tests, it turns out eyes are Ok. I need to spend less time staring at PC without breaks adn do some things to manage stress in my life. Dr. Tovias has been my regular doctor for years now. You will find her kind, comforting adn compassionate. She is the ultimate professional but puts you at ease. Her staff is amazing and you can tell everyone he building is committed to your vision health.

I have been seeing Dr. Binford since I was a kid, and before that he was and still is my parents optometrist. He is willing to explain anything and everything to you regarding your eyes and his staff is super friendly. He went above and beyond helping me on many occasions including seeing me outside of his normal office hours wihen I had issues with my eyes. They have the best prices for contacts around and I only purchase my glasses through Santa Fe Vision because they get them in lightning fast. I have recommended Dr. Binford to many family and friends and will continue to do so.

I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance. I was there early for a 4:30 appointment and waited and waited. Finally at 5:00 the staff let me now the dr was running late and it would be an additional 30 minute wait. I have been a patient of Dr. Binfords for 15 years and I NEVER had a bad experience when the office was run by Dr. Binford and his team. TSO even added an extra doctor. Now it is just like any other large medical office. We have lost the comforts of using small town doctors and the courtesies that come along with them.
