Ill recommend Jim Bone Nissan to anybody wanting a new car. Everyone there is super friendly and totally down to earth. When it comes to getting my car worked on and/or oil change, I dont mind paying alil more because I know my car is in good hands.
Purchasing a used car was fine-I like the car, and the price. However, the finance manager used very aggressive and manipulative tactics to convince me to buy an extended warranty. I listened to his appeal, and declined. He continued to pressure me even though I continued to decline, three more times.he wouldn’t listen to me when I said I didn’t want his warranty. He said things …”why don’t you want this coverage… car repairs are very expensive… you wrote a check for the car—write a check for this coverage…”” I finally had to bang his desk and raised my voice “I don’t want your warranty—just sell me the car.”” And then he got huffy. I finished up the process, but I was feeling irate at his continued pressure tactics.Overall, he made the process of buying this petty unpleasant.

I was driving to work on the freeway today (10/12) when an engine light came on. I was near Jim Bone Nissan, so I thought I would take a chance and see if they could at least diagnose the problem. I arrived, they took my car without an appointment, put me in a great loaner, and got the work I needed completed quickly. I heartily recommend Jim Bone Nissan and all the friendly staff there.
I waited over two hours for them to tell me exactly what I already knew, a new back up camera was needed and it was on back order. My car sat, ready to leave, for over 1 hour. Better communication is a good idea. Also, sales rep tried pretty hard to sell me another car, not interested.

Jason the Service Adviser made the appointment for me Tuesday to come on Thursday @ 1000 AM and I did. As soon as I got there, Jason took care of My Car Service needs and I was out of the place by 1140 with very reasonable charges. I’m not the only one that that was satisfied of the Service Rendered, there were three of us there at the same time and all three of us were very satisfied customers, I met Andrea and Katrine there and we all exchanged phone numbers. Saw many next-day appointments available in online scheduling tool, but it was easier for me to call on phone, so I did that. Was told, Wow, we are really booked up tomorrow (Friday). I said, How about Saturday? Was told, OK, will have the Saturday adviser call you, and my name and number taken. Nearly a week later, still waiting for the call. My truck, however, which I had previously serviced at Jim Bone, could not wait and it is now full of fresh full synthetic oil from another place, even though it cost more.
From start to finish the Service department at Jim Bone Nissan has been just wonderful. I had recently bought my 2019 Nissan Rogue (at a different dealership sadly) when it suddenly died and wouldnt start. Roger S. Was the nicest, most professional car service rep I have ever worked with. He explained everything that was going on, and worked with my limited budget and got me back on the road in no time. He was courteous and so helpful to this very stressed out mom. He has the earned the shop a customer for life from me.I will only take my car there from now on! Just the best!

Honestly an all around great experience for my first time going to a dealership. I had some struggles with how much the car was at first but they dropped the price by 1400$ which was very generous. I would recommend my friends to come here if they were searching for a car. Plus 6 months of free car washes is awesome haha.

Very frustrating morning.Waited 2 hours for my oil to be changed. I only get my oil change there because they rotate my tires for free ( purchased there).However they tell me after they didn’t even rotate my tires today because it didn’t quite need them! Ugh!!They will probably need to be rotated before the next oil change..I’m really unhappy after today’s experience. I won’t he back for an oil change.

It was a little bit slow for checking the battery but I understand they were extremely busy. Plus I came in midday. They were more thorough about why my battery was having a hard time.
I am a long time customer usually I am happy with the service. However this time I Called several times. Often being hung up on. I left a few voice mails The service department never returned my calls. After waiting a week . I had to walk in to get an appointment. I spoke with the service manager he didn’t care. Time to take my business elsewhere.
The wait was ridiculous. I waited 2 hours for an appointment just for an oil change. And I had an appointment. My car went in pretty fast but took so long to get out

The entire lease return process was faulty. The lease outlines the fees, but Jim Bone adds on a “MANDATORY” safety check of $80 and processing fees of $85, above and beyond the $300 that Nissan documents on the lease.My appointment was made a week ago for 8:00 AM, but when I got there for the safety check, they knew nothing about it - I wasn’t in the system. They rescheduled me for 10:30, an accommodation, but after their error.Now the wait while they did the safety check of a three year old electric car with almost no moving parts…. About an hour, which is what they told me, but still a mystery why. It passed - no surprise.Then a looooong wait for the finance guy after an estimate of what my buy out amount is…. Finally, after querying a couple items, I was “ALLOWED” to buy the car I’d been leasing for three years!Other earlier problems when asking about the process made it seem very confrontational. The Jim Bone people bordered on rude ( not today, but earlier ) and appeared to outwardly criticize me and resent the fact that I wanted to buy the car and resell it at a profit because the used car market was in a “bubble”.For some reason, they thought that should be exclusively their right! I will never lease a car again - chalk it up to learning. I will never deal with Jim Bone Nissan again - their attitude on the back end of the lease was unfortunate to say the least.Last - they told me it would be 6-12 weeks to get my title from Nissan corporate! That means I still can’t sell MY car!! Not a good experience.In the end, it took me six hours from my initial appointment to write a check and buy the car. Three and a half hours from my rescheduled appointment for something that took 15 minutes once I got into finance.

I went to buy the 2018 car I had leased and it was a long, COVID-19 unsafe, frustrating experience. To start, in violation of county law, very few of the staff were wearing masks indoors which made the hours of waiting unsafe. Secondly, they sent a letter telling us to have an inspection in advance which we did but when I arrived I was told we needed another inspection done at their repair center which cost $85… which of course lead to requirements of replacing tires at well above market rate. Then there were the other additional charges (electronic filling, and other “routine” charges) that were on top of the $300 processing charges that was detailed in the letter. They kept giving me papers with costs that didn’t add up to the total and I kept having yo do my own math and asking about the differences. It took all day! I will not be back.
I leased a new Leaf from Jim Bone and am very happy with the experience. Our sales associate, LaVel, was very helpful, friendly and determined for me to get what I wanted. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that it took so long, and that may have been because of my indecision. In any case, I came home with the car I wanted!
I came in to get a recalled airbag replaced near the end of the day, and told them I had an appointment in just over an hour. The time estimate was for 1 hour and 30 minutes, but they decided to help me out and got it done in barely 30 minutes. Im really grateful that they would go above and beyond like that.

All departments and staff have been nothing but kind and caring not only to me but to my 4 kids and my dog. 2 years ago I walked Into the dealership Upside down in a loan with a lemon and much less than perfect Credit history, They worked very hard for a couple days with no questions asked or even a blink in the eye and came up with a solid plan on what was needed for me to do and areas of improvement with a reasonable time frame. So I focused, did what I had to do and not too long after, I walked into the dealership again for kids that turn the place up and Was in better shape do need 1st walked in there and that evening I walked out with Out my lemons in a new car to me, That was far more reliable had longer life to live in big smile on all 5 of our faces. Now just under 2 years later I walk in with the vehicle that I have been very happy with and it had something going on so I need to take in the shop much to my surprise again with no blinking the eye, They took the card and got me in a very much newer vehicle and me for kids and a dog left with very happy faces And each time it was no easy task But the whole team network together to keep the kids happy entertained dog got some treats and I got to do the things I needed to do to have once again a newer much reliable vehicle safe for the family and I am so very grateful for Jim Bone Nissan I am so very grateful and blessed.

The greatest serviceman alive is MITCH!!! He takes excellent care of my car and me as a customer. Had to replace my sunroof. I was given a rental car until mine was ready. I have had the 1983 Maxima,1996, 2016, and 2019. Mitch has been my serviceman since 2016 and throughout he has displayed professionalism, yet personal service. I cant thank you enough.I also buy my cars from DON HARRIS who is the greatest car salesman!! He always know what I like in the Maxima, No high pressure sales, just common sense. Staff was pleasant. However, I was charged $905.40 to diagnose and repair a fouled spark plug in the number three cylinder. When I questioned the gentleman managing my repairs he said that price was justified.
Do not buy a car here! They take advantage of people who don’t speak English and sell you every warranty they can possibly sell you totaling $12,050 without you knowing and ofcourse sell the car for the most $$ they can. They tagged it (warranties and products) to your payment and don’t explain that you have an option to buy or not to buy this warranties. It’s unethical what they do to people that don’t speak English!

Never had a good experience here or good deal on a new Nissan- all my new Nissans I bought from NorthBay or SF. Never gave a good trade in value either- got better trade in values at NorthBay or SF.For a place that advertises happy they sure didnt seem to work hard to make ME happy, more like themselves. Oh well, they missed out on SEVERAL new car & used purchases that Ive made over the years lol.EDIT UPDATE TO The Bones reply below: You should have plenty of records under the Gentner name from all the times we brought our Titan AND Rogue in for warranty work that you always tried to dodge & inconvenience us with return trips because you couldnt get around to it. Not to mention you wouldnt have any purchase records exactly for the reason above. I was just in there on Monday July 5 on a whim for trading in my 2015 Rogue (that I tried to buy at Jim Bone but was given a MUCH better deal elsewhere, just like with the Titan I also mentioned) and was met with a pathetically low amount just like.Jim Bone was always my first stop when looking for a new Nissan because I live in SR but always disappointed so I ALWAYS went elsewhere.And to that effect- how do you like the owner LYING about having no record of us? He should have LOTS because of the service dept never fixing our warranty issue- Not because the car was a lemon, but because they didnt know how.Not to mention I have MANY reviews to my name where most (not all) of their positives have 1-3 to their name. So who is really leaving fake reviews Jim?

I had to wait over two hours for a Oil Change. Jim Bone usually takes much less time to do a Oil Change. But over all I love the attention and I appreciate the friendliness of the people employed at Jim Bone!!!! Next time I make a appointment....I would like to be served a lot sooner. I bought a used Prius from them online and after I bought it and picked it up, I found it had a blown head gasket....which the dealer Im sure already knew.They never disclosed the engine problem and now I have a $3000 engine repair....typical deceptive used car dealer practice! I would never buy a car from them again!
You would be hard pressed to find a more comfortable buying experience. Josh works magic pure and simple. Anyone out there who doubts whether or not you could finance a vehicle, try this place. It literally blew my mind how fast, easy, and accommodating buying my new truck was. I even got a plan to rebuild my credit!

The back and forth negotiation norms of buying a car are frustrating and pathetic. That is no different here. With the constant scribbles on pages and crossed out numbers being replaced with lower ones I was left feeling annoyed and exhausted! The guy who finished the finances was condescending and so pushy I wanted to walk out. I love the car, but hated the experience of purchasing it.
Rodger is really awesome. He should get a raise. They put wipers on no charge. The oil change is the cheapest around. Definitely refer everyone with a Nissan.

We drove 80 miles to Jim Bone Nissan to get a duplicate key made for our 2019 Rogue that we had purchased elsewhere. They took excellent care of us in a timely manner. They also did a complimentary service check of our vehicle while we were waiting and treated us to a free car wash. We were both pleasantly surprised and impressed with the customer service.

I had a charging issue with my Leaf. Brought it in. Had to wait a day for the part to fix it. In the meantime the shop staff found a couple of other issues and fixed them as well. Staff was helpful and I appreciate the focused work.
