I cannot believe what just happened. This is my first google review. I asked the company for a quote to replace part of my sliding glass door and they needed measurements. Roy, the owner, came out when I wasnt home. I live in a gated complex and am a single woman with young children. I had instructed him to look up my name to call me so I could grant access. He couldnt figure out the gate box and just called me directly demanding that I give him the code for access. Ultimately he figured out the box and I let him in.I called several times to follow up on the quote and just got an answer almost a week later. He told me he wont do the job because I wouldnt give him the code, like hes untrustworthy. He got frustrated and just left without even letting me know.I will not jeopardize my safety for anyone, especially not a stranger no matter how well reputed their business. I am incredibly disappointed in this company and Roy specifically.

I remodeled my house completely including three and a half bathrooms. J&R Glass and Mirror came highly recommended, and Im sure glad I gave them a shot. Their prices were extremely competitive and Tony in the office answered all my questions. I got to meet Roy the owner... what a down-to-earth guy! I checked these guys out based on a recommendation of a friend who used them and had nothing but good things to say. I can now see why! Their work was quality, and priced better than I could find anywhere else. The workers were polite, timely, and left the place cleaner than it was before they arrived. Very happy, and would definitely recommend!

J & R Glass and Mirror did a great job, and I could not have been more pleased! I needed a wall mirror, 50” X 38”, with beveled edges and mounting hardware, and I needed it on fairly short notice. J & R provided the most competitive price quote, and had the mirror ready for pick up when promised. My plan was to install the mirror myself, and they took the time to make sure I knew how to do it and that I had the hardware to do a professional installation, before I walked out of their office, and I appreciated that. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Tony and his crew are awesome! I dropped a window off, thinking it would take awhile to replace the glass. Tony and his crew did it while I waited, quick, professional, and very polite, nor to mention very reasonably priced! I now have them in my phone for all of my future glass needs!

Had to call twice to finally get an appointment for this company to do some glass work for my wife and me regardless of being assured after the first call that someone would get back to me. Not only did they not arrive on the day scheduled, they did not bother to call and tell us they wouldnt be coming. They still havent responded to two voicemail messages asking for an explanation.

J&R was able to cut two mirrored pieces of glass for a bathroom cabinet for a very reasonable price in short amount of time. The mirrors are a perfect fit and look great. They even offered to drop them off. Professional, friendly and fast. I would do business with them again.

Very good price and good service. I love this place

Roy came by to give me a quote and gave me a great estimate for my shower doors. I hired him, he did outstanding work, was very punctual, did amazing work and I couldnt be happier.

I gave the shop dimensions to cut a rectangular piece of 1/4” plate glass. Picked it up and it was 1/4” too big on the short side. After several calls to them I took it back, they apologized and said they had fired “Josh” who had messed up several jobs. They took it to the back of the shop, cut it and put it back in my car. Went to install it and they had cut 1/4” off of the LONG side (even though they had written dimensions in hand) making the glass useless. After calling several times I finally reached a female in the office on Wednesday who assured me she would cut a new piece herself, have it ready Thursday or Friday at the latest for pickup and would call me. Surprise...no call and no response to my messages. I disputed the credit card charge and will get the glass for my blown out window from (a) a company that can read a tape measure and (b) a company that responds to customers promptly and professionally. Something must have drastically changed with this company to go from decent reviews to the debacle that I experienced.

We recently had J&R Glass install 2 shower enclosures. They designed and installed them to replace older sliding glass doors for two showers. They were very professional, the designs for both bathrooms were perfect, especially considering available space in one of the rooms. The sower enclosures they designed were frames, which really opened up the spaces, and gave the feel of more room. just doing that gave both bathrooms a facelift. The time from start (measuring and ordering) to finish (final install) was very quick. They removed all the old stuff, and cleaned the new glass before they left. No mess left at all. I was surprised at how fast they got them to us, and both enclosures were installed in half a day. The frameless style we got is very easy to maintain. Very happy with the functionality as well as the design. No more wet floor!Could not have been more pleased with their service, their price and their professionalism. I phoned this company to request a shower door quote. I was told that the owner would call be back later that day. He phoned the next day and set up an appointment to come to my home on Saturday, 04/08/17 at 10:00 a.m. Not only did he not come, he didnt even bother to call and cancel. I dont know about you, but I find that inexcusable, unprofessional and unethical. What would it be like had I actually hired them to do a job? No thanks!
