Made an appointment for a representative to come out and estimate a front door insert. On the day of the appointment the office called to say the rep experienced car problems and would not be able to make the appointment. I was told he would call me the next day to reschedule. I never heard back from either him or anyone else at the company.

Called to ask if I could get two mirrors cut & was told to just bring them in. Both were about 35x40”. I brought the mirrors to Sarasota Glass & Mirror & was told they would not do the job because they sent their workers home. I’m a 65 year old woman that had to load the mirrors by myself from a 2nd floor condo. No apology, just so sad too bad for me. The female receptionist was difficult at best. Why tell me to bring the mirrors in then tell me they won’t help me. I’ll be sure to tell everyone to avoid this business.****IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMMENT BELOWI never asked your people to perform the work while I waited. I was told to bring the mirrors into your shop & I expected to drop them off & come back at a later time or date. Your employee refused to take the mirrors! I don’t know why you assumed that I expected the job to be done immediately. I never said anything about wanting the to be done right away. Shame on you!

The crew at Sarasota Glass and Mirror did a fantastic job. The sales rep, David, was very polite and understanding as he answered all of my questions. He was also forward thinking with his measurements. I did not want a door so he left enough space for if I were to ever change my mind I could order a stock door instead of paying extra $$ for a custom cut door. The install team Mark and Josh were timely, polite, and did an excellent job installing my shower enclosure. Everyone on the team communicating and answering my questions and Im very happy with the end result.

Not making very good experiences with this company! Placed an order with them for a glass insert for main entry door, was told because of Covid it might take longer, 8-10 weeks, today they leave me a message, after I had to follow up for the 3rd time (they do not inform their clients and provide updates), that my order is not due in until end of April... Common man! They take your deposit but customer service is very unsatisfying at least. Our visit to their Clark Rd show room wasnt the best either, should have walked out then...

This is the 2cd time using Sarasota Glass. Josh my salesperson was polite and fair. He even showed up to help the install team get finished on time. The work was excellent and the team was neat and clean. I would definately recomend!

Everyone we met and worked with from Lindsey in the office, to the owner, Scott and his staff, especially the install crew team of Whit, Brandon and Daniel were excellent to work with. The windows are beautiful and efficient. They were manufactured on time and installed in two days. The install team was very professional, knowledgeable, polite and managed extremely well by Whit. They cleaned up after each day as well and this is very important to me. This business is local and was established over 40 years ago. They were recommended to me by a friend and I would highly recommend them to others.

Called in looking g for quote on phone as advertised due to Covid. Spoke to a rude snotty young lady that didn’t want to help with that. She basically brushed me of telling me to email if I want a quote. I told them I was referred to them, but I guess that didn’t matter either. Probably a good company but it only takes one employee to not care to get a review like this!! Good luck! I will take my 10k project elsewhere!

I had several problems with a new front door, none of them were the fault of Sarasota Glass & Mirror. The company did everything they could to make things right. Excellent after sale customer service which isnt always that common. You can deal with this company with confidence.

Dave our Sales Rep was awesome.. He worked with me to get the shower doors that I really wanted and made great suggestions to make it work for us. Spcustomer service needs attention

I was referred to Sarasota Glass & Mirror from my neighbor who had nothing but wonderful things to say about this company. When I called, a rude older man answered the phone and did not want to help me out at all. He kept telling me that he doesnt work in that department and that I had to email someone else. Finally, he told me his name was Ken and that he only sells windows and doors to contractors! The tone and way he spoke to me was enough to make me want to hang up. I will be glad to take my business somewhere else that has the time for me and knows how to treat a new customer.

My wife and I stopped to discuss purchasing a replacement doors for our home. We felt that the salesman was just trying to get rid of us. Maybe he was too busy and didn’t have time to waste with us. We will not return.

Sarasota Glass & Mirror (SGM) installed replacement windows in my home in Dec 2019, about 6 months ago as I write this. I can say now with confidence that I am very satisfied. SGM did a superb job from the sales visit from Terry. There was no pressure, no tricks like calling the boss to get a better price. Just straight forward information and he did a quote while on site. The wait for the windows is a manufacturer responsibility. Once they were in, SGM did the required permitting and schedule install dates – 4 days to complete all. Matt and his team installed my windows and did an excellent job. First they showed up every day scheduled. The worked throughout the day and cleaned up at the end of the day. Matt answered any questions that I had and he and his team corrected any of the minor issues that I discovered at the end of each day on my “inspection”. SGM stored some of the windows and their larger tools in my garage, which I agreed to as it was easier for all involved and save time on the installation. Matt and his team did an excellent job installing my windows and I have had no issues in the 5 months since. I would recommend Sarasota Glass and Mirror to anyone that is looking for quality replacement windows (mine are PGT brand) at a reasonable price and done right the first time,

Spent about 30-45 minutes discussing our new door options said it would not be a problem combining our options and that it would take no more than four weeks. From order to install it took only three weeks. While we had a door through a bigger company which we later cancelled and went with Sarasota Glass. Today we called Scott again to inquire one impact window which is on order. Again on time, efficient and personable. Highly recommend Sarasota glass. Simply the best.

A few weeks ago we had new front doors installed by Sarasota Glass and Mirror. These were double doors with hurricane proof glass that were installed opening outwards to make them hurricane proof. The entire door jam had to be removed and replaced. The entire process was wonderful. One crew came and did the initial installation which was perfect. They cleaned up every bit of debris before they left. Another crew came after the county inspection and completed the job. I had one minor concern and they quickly sent a third crew that corrected the problem. All three crews were very professional and did fantastic work. I have to say that it was a pleasure to spend my money with Sarasota Glass and Mirror and I will always return to them and recommend them for any future needs!

I completely remodeled my master bathroom with the need to make it completly handicap accessible. After removing a corner soaking tub we designed a corner zero threshold walk in shower and had Sarasota Glass & Mirror install the glass and custom width glass shower door. They were totally professional from the on site salesperson, the owner that completed the site survey to both of their installers.Very aware of the attention to detail that I demanded and we closed the sale by adding mirror appliques to a large full with plain bathroom mirror. We did the same mirror work in the second bathroom. I highly recommend Sarasota Glass & Mirror; wait till you see their Shower Enclosure showroom! Great ideas and solutions.

Had three bathrooms I needed glass for. They did the shower enclosure for the first two and they were satisfactory. When I ask the guy who came to measure the first two what it would cost for shower glass doors for a 5 tub. He said he knew right off the bat and was a little over $600. When I called at a later date to purchase it, they said they had to measure it so I had them come out again. The same guy comes to measure and it comes to $728. When I mentioned that he originally told me just over $600, he said he was practically giving it to me at cost. I said again that he told me something different and he got pissed and just threw the paper on the counter and stormed out of the house. I called the office and talked to the owner and he said hed look into it and call me back. Never got the call. Its obvious they couldnt care about my business so Ill go to Kaufman Glass for this and Im currently building a home and will need 3 more showers done within the next 60 days but theyve made it clear my business is unimportant.

Scott and his Team did an amazing job!! We had over 20 windows multiple doors and sliders, aquarium glass all replaced and everyone of them was done perfectly. PGT makes an amazing product, built right here in Florida. Im a person that is very hard to please but Scott and his Team actually exceeded my expectations. We just finished our whole house project with a set of beautiful hurricane rated front doors! I work for a hospital and in the event of a pending storm I have to be on site. I couldn’t be happier. The crew encountered problems that required stucco repairs that were never explained to me as a possibility. I told the lead man of my problem with the situation. The next day when they returned to finish the job they told me their boss understood and Sarasota Glass and Mirror will get someone to repair the stucco. I was prepared for a hassle but this is a very reputable company. The installers were very neat and friendly too.

So far, the customer service (Angie) has been great, very patient. Theyve spent hours dealing with me and a credit company that has had trouble properly charging my account in order for SG to get paid for my shower enclosure order. Scott, the general manager is so friendly and personable, I felt very at ease with him looking at different options for the master bath shower enclosure. He must have given me 3-4 different quotes with 3-4 different options. Their prices are competitive and I am so far happy with them. I cant wait to have my glass enclosures installed so I can write a review about their product and installation as well.

Will never use nor recommend this company because the customer service lacks any sense of the word service. Received a quote from them back in July and confirmed in September that they had the job. Its now mid-November and we have never received an invoice for any of the materials that needed to be ordered and each time we have needed to have them come out and measure, they dont have us on the schedule. Any displeasure we voice about this is taken as a threat and now they have decided that we are too difficult to deal with and decided they will not follow through on the job they quoted us.

If there were an option to give a 6th star, I would. These guys were timely, friendly, utterly professional. Our new room, neé front porch, is now our favorite place in the house. Well done, guys!

Thanks to the guys at Sarasota Glass I am feeling safer from the next hurricane. They have installed hurricane impact resistant PGT windows and Doors throughout my home, impact resistant, it is a relief. And they were affordable, I was surprised at the low cost, I used their discount voucher off the website - thanks again guys.

I cannot recommend this company. I hired this company to install hurricane windows. They were prompt in sending a representative to measure for the windows, and explained the time frame from order to installation.The day the installers came, 3 of the windows were not the right size. They would need to be reordered. The remaining windows were installed by what I can only say were not experienced, they had no supervision.When they completed and left, I inspected the installation, pieces of the areas around the window were left with holes. They did not I form me of any damage they did.I contacted the office, spoke to someone, and was expecting a call back, but received no response. I texted pictures showing the damage, and was told the issues would be addressed when the reordered windows came in.The 3 windows that were reordered came in, this time there were 2 trainees and 1 experienced installer. They completed the installation and were getting ready to leave when I asked if they were going to address my issues with the prior window installation. I was told they were not informed by their office of any problems I had. The installer inspected all of the windows and fixed the holes.This company never contacted me after the installation to make sure everything was satisfactory.This company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered and I would NEVER use or recommend Sarasota Glass and Mirror.

The company does good work, however this is second project this year the person that does the measuring made errors. The installers showed up promptly but the glass for the project was not measured correctly and had to be re-cut. I was told by the installers it would be a couple of days and after not being contacted by the office for scheduling we reached out and were told it would be the following week. The young lady at the desk is a little self righteous and seems to think more highly of herself than the jobs at hand. Sort of adds insult to injury. I might use them again as I stated the company does good work however they need to consider having someone more competent do the measuring or atleast be more accurate and double check to avoid these unnecessary delays. As well it would be nice to have customer service with better relation skills.

I have had a start to finish fantastic experience with these folks. Their materials are great, and their leadership, techs and customer relations people are amazing. In particular Scott Brigham who owns the business and Kevin Lyons who is his main support manager were incredible in their service and attention to detail with the installation of two large (10ft) multi-panel sliders for my condo. In addition to carefully repairing, cleaning and replacing areas that were in need of repair after removal of the old doors (which they did at no cost, including a little touch up painting) they also helped me adapt a dog door into the main doors securely. This required custom fitting that did not come from the dog door manufacturer, but they did this work and made it perfect. And they did it with pride.They took all of my comments seriously and attended to things promptly, were courteous and professional. They guarantee their work, in addition to the warrantee from the slider manufacturer, and they have followed up very diligently with final punch list items. I have great confidence recommending them, I trust them and admire their integrity!

We had them install multiple glass tops on our furniture and then had them replace our front door as well as the window above it and the quality of work done was great. The staff is easy to work with and get a hold of.

Great Experience from start to finish. Knowledgable people from front office to field installers. My need came up just before the hurricane. They came out to measure and quote 4 windows. Good quote and reasonable lead time considering they had to deal with the aftermath of the hurricane. The leadman was skilled, safety and quality conscious and worked his team efficiently. The front office was very good at scheduling and communicating with me. Handled all Permits and scheduled the final inspection.

This was our first experience doing business with Sarasota Glass. We knew exactly which brand and model glass doors we wanted to purchase and have installed in our home. We contacted Sarasota Glass after speaking with other much larger companies. We were greeted with a courteous response to our inquiry. After a prompt and professional service visit to our home, we decided to hire Sarasota Glass.We were required to put down a large deposit since these were expensive custom doors we were ordering. Many homeowners have experienced contractors delaying or disappearing after they’ve been paid a deposit – not this time. We were told an approximate date that the doors would arrive and they did, right on schedule.What we did not expect was that we would be out of town for an extended period and not be able to be at home for the installation. We decided to put faith in Sarasota Glass to complete the job while we were away. We arranged to have the house sitter give them access to install the doors and the job was completed in a timely fashion.Some time later, when we arrived back in town, we pulled into the driveway and found our home fitted with beautiful new doors. The quality look and feel of the doors was what we had expected. What we did not expect was for the work area, both inside and outside the home, to be so clean and tidy, void of any debris at all - especially since the door openings required custom work to accept the new doors.One item that was missed along the way was that all the doors were supposed to be keyed alike – they were not. One call to Sarasota Glass to make them aware of the problem is all that was required. The locks were rekeyed promptly and all at no cost to us. Refreshing, to say the least. In closing, we were more than satisfied every step of the way. With service like we experienced, we will continue to support this local small business.

Trying to get a quote from these guys is like pulling teeth. I had one appointment canceled at the last minute, next available appointment two weeks later. The guy, the owner I think, eventually arrived 45 minutes late, no apology. By the time Sarasota Glass came I had two other quotes for my hurricane windows and sliding door. The two other quotes were both wayyyyyyyy lower than Sarasota Glass. When I showed the guy he tried telling me how bad the other companies work is and you get what you pay for, point is the other companies both had better reviews than Sarasota Glass. The guy just laughed when I told him, apparently these other companies do reviews themselves to make them look good.

Quick and efficient service all the time.

Quality product but took almost 5 months to install 4 replacement PGT windows due to unnecessary delays. Ordered the wrong windows...6 weeks delay. Broke one window on installation...6 more weeks delay.Spread caulking onto the exterior paint...3 more weeks delay to have a painter touch up.

Wow! Above and beyond. My SGD had been improperly installed, including missing parts - by someone else - and Sarasota Glass & Mirror was able to secure the necessary parts as a warranty repair and fix my door quickly, properly and professionally. Had a sliding glass panel broken by accident this morning. I called and spoke with Barbara at Sarasota Glass and Window. After giving her measurements over the phone she was able to have a truck come out with the replacement panel and it was installed in a matter of minutes!!!! Its 2 pm and everything is back in place and made an unpleasant accident into a good experience! I would recommend them to anyone looking for prompt,polite service.

Wow... just walked out of their store and feel no desire of ever coming back. First impressions are everything, so when I walked in to get information and was greeted by someone who seemed put out by my being there and my inexperience with ordering glass, why would I come back? Today I came in to ask about tabletop glass, and found out from the woman at the front that my pics werent good enough, that Id be better off buying a new table. Hmmmm, maybe Im in there because I like this old wrought iron table we have. Never mind that the next questions I had were about replacing glass for some windows in our 1925 two story house we recently puchased, and that it needs other work besides that. Her cold manners made me run out quick. Customer service lessons are needed in this place.

Worst company ever. Besides having guys with little experience to install my windows and sliding doors, they didnt even know to use new strips of pressure treated wood to support my windows against the block frame. That is against codes!!!!. I called the office to express my concerns and all I got was a very rude woman who explains to me that they cant over see every employees workmanship or they would have to charge more. Then says not to worry it will be covered up before the inspections anyways no one will know!. I will never recommend this company to anyone! Becareful. Ask to see the installers factory install certificate before you have them install.

This company installed our front door and had to come back to fix minor issues 2 times. We then ordered a replacement core for the door, which took forever with almost no updates/responses from them. I had to hound them for 2 weeks asking for any update. Not a pleasant experience!
