If you need some electronic gadget, Best Buy is the place to go. They have very knowledgeable people that can help you. They do not use high pressure sales tactics at all. The store also offers so much more than you can imagine. The store itself is clean and open. Its a good place to buy your next electronic item!

Purchasing something online with an iPhone should be easy with all fields able to be auto filled if you so choose. Why BestBuy.com does not allow this is beyond me and makes for an annoying experience. Sorry side tracked, the store is nice and newer with a big, huge, couldn’t be more obvious sign that says”Online/phone orders pickup” . So I go to said area where there was no one waiting, but also no clerk. After 10 to 15 minutes of waiting an associate with the geek squad stopped by and said do you have an order to pick up? I said why yes that’s why I’m standing in the order pick up line. He said the door person is the person who could get my order for me. My mouth dropped open and I informed him that he must move the location of the big, ginormous sign right above us indicating the location to pick up my online order. He offered no explanation. And what should have been a three minute experience was over a half an hour. I could have gone in, picked it off the shelves purchased it and left faster than this whole horrible online order and pick up system. Iron it out people

I came into this Best Buy with an emergency phone issue. The management, staff, and Geek Squad employees were thorough and went way above the call of duty to help me out. I walked out with a new phone and other perks from the wonderful experience at this Best Buy store. I always go to Best Buy with high expectations, but somehow this staff exceeded them with ease.Highly recommend visiting the store and getting the help you deserve😊

Puchased new Brother Printer through BestBuy Online since none in stock in Sioux City location. Printer arrived 10.20.2021but huge issues connecting it properly to my Mac. Called Sioux City store but was shunted to Online Help without ever being able to speak with ANYONE at the Sioux City store. Best Buy Online refused to help but was willing to scheduled me for a quick review if I would bring in my computer, printer, cables in to the Sioux City location. However, since I did not have a service contract with them. Anything beyond a brief consultation would cost me money. After 6 hours online searching with no luck, I finally called Apple. If even though this is not an Apple product, they were willing to help me out. 1 hour later we had many issues diagnosed that should have been covered by Brother in the manual (which by the way does NOT come with the printer--you have to download it from the internet (oh, yes only 653 pages as it covers about 25 different printers.Printing issues were completely resolved (wireless and USB) and now works fine. The “scanning” only worked with WiFi but will NOT with USB. Tried several different USB cables but we never could get it to scan to the PC/MAC without WiFi.Either way, Apple help out even though the issues was NOT related to the Macintosh and was completely and issue with the printer. Best Buy did absolutely nothing to help except add to my frustration. I cannot blame the Sioux City store specifically because they had NO SAY as this was handled completely Online--apparently the way Best Buy does business now. Why they have a local number is a mystery since the purchase and the lack of support all went online even though I called the Sioux City store both times on their line. Shame on Best Buy. I do not know about the Best Buy part but certainly, I am now very aware of the WORST SERVICE the Best Buy provides. MONEY above all. No decency or care for customers by corporate. Machine goes back to Sioux City store the suggested place to return it (since it is close). What a disservice to our local community and the local store employees. The printer model number is Brother MFC-L2710DW. I hope I save someone from a lot of grief, time, and frustration.

Impossible to reach local store using the one number system. A final chance to speak with a customer associate went from a five minute suggested wait to ten minutes with no one responding. Use to be able to get quick Best Buy response locally. Apparently no longer.

Calling to get info is VERY DIFFICULT when your question doesn’t fit the “options” you are given. I had a question about their recycling program & couldn’t get past the automated voice so out of frustration I hung up. You NEED a “general” or “misc” option!

My daughter bought a cell phone, case and screen protector on 11/19/19. Unfortunately she dropped her cell phone and cracked the screen protector on 11/21/20. . She took her phone back to Best Buy to have the screen protector replaced for free as it has a “life time warranty “. She was told by a female associate that she couldn’t find when she purchased the phone on her account. So my daughter paid $45 for a new screen protector and $8 fee to have it put on. They are now going back on people if you didn’t pay the $8 prior they are now collecting this fee. So she drove 25 miles home to find her cell phone receipt took it back to Best Buy however that associate was gone. So Nate helped her and told her that he couldn’t refund anything as she didn’t pay $8 fee prior. So my daughter called me and I informed her that the screen protector is a life time warranty. She went back in and another male associate helped her because Nate had left in those few minutes. The 3rd associate FINALLY did a credit for the screen protector. What a rat race and joke they put her through. We don’t shop there a lot, however, this is more encouragement to not shop there again!

Best Buy is much more crowded because they are the only big box TV/computer store in town. They are reasonable on small items but their computers tend to be more money than buying from manufacturers direct. They do service in house which is not the case with online companies.

The experience at this particular Best Buy was boring at best. I came in expecting to spend 3 to 4 grand and ended up getting judged by the employees as a poor person, (yes best buy your mics are very loud we can hear them too lol) needless to say nobody could answer my questions. Geek Squad didnt even know what I was talking about when I asked if they carried thunderbolt 3 cables...I dont get it maybe because nobody wants to work they are hiring people that are the opposite of geeks

For starters, we waited 45 minutes for a Geek to be available. We have a contract with them. We have bought several tvs, bluerays, appliances, computer, printer, etc. from them. They had no records of that. The computer will not communicate with the printer. Hasnt for 2 years. Every month we have to contact the Geeks to get a driver that will work. On the phone forever. They tell me in person they dont deal with printers. They cant work out the problems. Both work fine just cant communicate. Have taken to Sioux Falls Best Buy and they have looked at both but ...In other words, worst customer service ever. I wont be buying anything there again. Enter at your own risk.

Employees are overworked. Understaffed. and expected to do the managers job. Managers are incompetent. General manager more concerned over his wallet and his bonuses rather than employees well being. Customers are allowed to trample over employees. If you come to BestBuy and have to wait for help it is because 75% of its employees were fired and the left over personnel had to pick up everyone else dutys. If youre thinking of applying stay away. youll thank me later. I am no longer supporting this business because of the heinous actions by its management. And if you have any issues at the store. Blame Management. They are at fault

A typical Best Buy location. Generally good prices and selections. The one thing I find here, and some others, are you can see 12 employees standing around in small groups socializing, yet you currently need help, and no one around. When you finally do get someone’s attention, it’s not their department, so then they want to go get someone else to help. Gets irritating, as the help seems to want to help, only when needed. Ironically, Covid has improved my experiences, as if I order online and then have curbside pick up, you avoid these issues.

I wanted to get the Ninja digital air fryer. Walmart was out of stock. Found one at 🎯 Target called they said yes we price match and I said great. We went to 🎯. Get to the check out and they say they could not do it because the wording was not the same on the site. I said its the same product see and show them in the photo the right words but nope they would not horror the $129.99 down to $79.99 price match. So we leave. We go to Best Buy I walk up to the cashier and show her the out of stock walmart air fryer and she said yes we will horror that price $99.99 to $79.99. they were out of stock but they were happy to order and ship it to my house. Something the other stores did not offer. Ever time I go in to best by I have a great experience. Thank you Sioux City Best Buy You guys ROCK🎉🎉

Gabe & John at Geek Squad were extremely helpful. I came in to get a ethernet cable adapter for my Mac and power cable for Switch. While they didnt have everything I needed Best Buy had the most important part. When I first entered the store I was greeted and asked if I was looking for anything. After getting directed to what I was looking for an employee quickly showed up and helped me with the item I wanted then quickly rang up and finished my purchase. What they didnt have I can just order on my own its not a big deal.

I tried to order tv for curbside pickup with my new citibank my bestbuy card. I couldnt call the store and it directed me to online help only. I had to figure out how to tie my citibank mybestbuy card to my bestbuy account myself I did figure that out when I signed up monday the receipt didnt give me an account number for the new card or any information about it in general other than I am approved and my limit. I manage to get my citibank card linked to my bestbuy account go through that process and tried to order curbside pickup. Now that theyre closing earlier then the citbank card Im approved for was unable to process and I tried to get help at the bestbuy store at 710 and was told we do close at 7 you can come back tomorrow. I think I would much rather take my purchases elsewhere. then at 715 citibank calls to ask if I just tried to use my card and activate it and I am unable to select curbside pickup for today as it is now after 7pm. would get a 1 star after that but I have them a slight benefit of the doubt with covid and it was after regular store hours of 7pm. Overall it seems a little customer service was too much to ask for from either end the store or the card they provide to use there.

I like how they are adding to there toys and accessories, I enjoy collecting stuff like that. It felt like a smaller store so there was less to look at. The staff is hit or miss. A lady in the Entrance was very nice but when I asked a guy for help he said its over there . It was on the far side of the store over in a corner. I enjoyed my visit, found what I was looking for and will visit them again.

I feel that service after the sale is extremely unsatisfactory, to get help with the setup of a printer was both time consuming and a complete waste of time, I was given two options, 1 Schedule a tech to come to my home, for a fee, I don’t disagree with this, what I disagree with was that the second option of having someone walk me through the setup over the phone, was again a fee for service.I don’t recall of having this much frustration with anyone store in a very long time.

Nice people, however i bought an ibuypower pre-built bb973 and the geek squad guys said that ibuypower will not let them work on it. Its not a huge deal but the main problem is that ibuypowers service lines are all down and my ticket i emailed is not getting replys. why sell products youre not allowed to fix? says lifetime tech support on the box? Feels scammy.

I was looking for a tower computer, no monitor.Looking for best value for medium priced system. Being a bit handicapped and using a cane I ask a young man if he had a chair I could sit on to review the options available to me. Ernesto at the Sioux City store found me a chair the proceeded to assist me with the choices, detailing each systems best points and comparing with other options.I found two system an was trying to decide, asking if there were any sales or deals on the two. He said no but he could price check with other stores in the area and would match their price. He save me $100.00 off the higher end unit.He rang up the sale, detailed payment options, discovering my Best Buy card had expired. So he help me obtain a new credit card.Then loaded my purchase into my car for me.Ernesto did an excellent job for me, one of my best buying experiences ever ! The young deserves a raise in pay. Hang on to this man...., hes a winner !!!👍😊

Ordered the elusive chest frezzer on line and did curb side pick up. Everything went great. Checked in on line they came out confirmed my name and what I was picking up. Then two employees came out with the frezzer and placed it in the back of the truck. Quick, fast easy.

Bought a TV when i took it home and got it out of the box it was broken. I took it back and they said they wouldnt change it because it couldnt have been broken in the store, that i had to have done it intentionally. Then i bought some headphones and bought a replacement insurance plan, and when they broke they said it doesnt cover physical damage only wear and tear, if i could i would give them 0 stars. Overall terrible customer service, they dont really help they just say i dont know what to tell you and just walk away. Never buying there again

Staff went out of his way to find same laptop online so we I could take advantage of their price match. Staff made sure we got the best product for our money. Thanks best buy
