The manager at this location, Mike Peter, is fantastic. The customer service from everyone who works here is top notch. I have always felt like a valued customer. The facility is clean, well-managed, and safe. As a single woman, I have no hesitation going here alone at any time of the day or night. The restroom and the music are a nice bonus too! I highly recommend CubeSmart in Skokie!

Jeff and Mike are the two most kind hearted and patient people I have worked with. After being involved in a car accident I still had to drop by to for a pickup arrangement. Jeff was so nice and offered to help in so many ways possible. Being in customer service for over 10 years, I even shared my most recent experience I had at this location during a customer experience team meeting we had at work. Mike was very detail oriented throughout the process & I will definitely be recommending these guys to all my friends, family, business partner and future business needs.

Jeff the manager is amazing at customer service. He seems to always know his customers by name and always willing to help. The place is always clean and presentable. Ive never had a problem with no push carts being available. This place fits my needs perfectly.

I rented a unit here for 2 years. The staff was incredibly friendly, easy to work with. All units were easy to access, on ground level, with an indoor drive-in area that was convenient on rainy days. There was good lighting. Good climate-control. No flooding.But the place was a bit dusty. After 2 years, there was a layer of dust on the top of my stuff. The floor also had gotten dirty over the course of 2 years.

The service here is really excellent. They work hard to keep you as a customer- and the place itself is modern, bright and super clean.(They even pipe in some pretty good music) Before I brought my stuff here I always hated going to the storage space - now I don’t really mind so much!

The response from the owner clearly demonstrates how totally OUT-OF-TOUCH cubesmart storage is from their facilities, employees AND most importantly, their customers. not only did i give my name and the storage facility, ive also made contact with the district manager and the vp regional manager, both of whom lied about their contact with me. they have HEARD from EVERY WEEK SINCE THE START OF MY 1st LEASE on 30 january.*UPDATE* - sunday, 11 april 2021. although cubesmart corp CLAIMS to want to hear from me, its the last thing they really want. corporate allowed the ice to accumulate so much during feb/march, that it blocked the ONLY pedestrian door out of the indoor parking area. the ice blocked the door until the FINAL DAYS of march, when mother nature melted enough of it to once again allow the door to open. jeff, mike and myself did as much as we could to alleviate the problem, while corporate allowed it to continue for WEEKS.

The experience went very smoothly, the price was the best, and the service was quick and efficient. Nice clean facility, easy access.Giovanni and Jeffrey were big help getting signed up, and moving in. Definitely recommend this location.

We recently sold our condo and needed a place to store some furniture. Giovanni was very helpful in explaining the process and listing our options. We werent sure how big a space we needed but he told us that wasnt a problem and we could reserve a space but then change if the movers could see that it wasnt the correct size.We also have experience with Cube Smart in Florida and the excellent service seems to be across the board. Would definitely recommend!

The managers for this facility are incredibly helpful. We came from out of state, and had a long haul truck delivering our belongings. All of the unloading logistics were simplified by their attention and assistance.

My experience at the Oakton St. CubeSmart in Skokie, IL could not have been any better. The Manager there, Jeffrey Wolfe was incredibly helpful, not only did he find me great help to move into my storage unit, he also made it easy to temporarily store the storage pod I was moving out of inside the storage facility. My storage unit was brand new, and the facility is clean and well-lit. I would recommend this location without hesitation!

Jeff is an amazing guy even a better barista. Enjoy the coffee when I always show up and the friendly service I get. If it wasnt for Jeff I probably would move to a storage facility farther away that cost less. I always see Jeff cleaning the docks and the unit doors even its amazing this guy never sits down.

The managers are two of the friendliest guys, both were so helpful in answering all my questions, filling out paperwork quickly, and clearly outlining all the costs and details. The facility itself is so clean and well kept, you can pull your car up to easily unload, and carts are available onsite to make moving heavier items quick and easy.
