Great, accessible facilities, super convenient to use during a rough moving period. A lovely staff member named Malcolm really showed up for my roomies and I, helped us save money, outlined the quickest route to our unit so we didnt have to lug around our stuff for too long, just really great service all around. 10/10 would Store Again

Good location fairly close to the expressway. Indoor parking is great when weather is not cooperating. Rates tend to be a bit lower than the surrounding facilities. Pat and her staff are very friendly and helpful when needed. The place could use more hand carts, as theyre tough to get when the place is busy.

So far everything has gone smoothly. Needed a storage unit asap to store my couch that would not fit into my new place. Had a half hour left on my time with movers and need somewhere quick and inexpensive to store couch. Called this place, received a link and got my storage unit. When I arrived, Pat was very helpful. She explained everything and instructed me how to get to me unit, operate lock, etc. We appreciate her prompt service!

I met shef who taking over for the building and he help me open my unit. He was out sweeping when he bumped to me. Very sweet man.

I needed to move from a larger unit to a smaller unit. I was treated with courtesy and everything was explained to me in a way that made it easy to understand. The whole process was quick and painless. Thank you for being so helpful.

The online process to get a unit is quick and simple. Pat, the manager, at this location was really kind and helpful when I came in to return the lock they provide when you first move stuff in for a refund. This location is pretty clean and provides a few carts to help move items into your unit. I would recommend maybe more signs, but overall a good place.

Pat helped me out today. She’s very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, and quickly resolved my issue! This facility is always clean, and whenever I have called, I’ve gotten a call back right away if no one is at the office. Definitely recommend this location.

This is a perfect place to store my household items. Soon after my first contact I received a courteous call back and given specific instructions. On the morning of my appointment Pat, the on site manager called me and we confirmed my visit. Pat was great, friendly and knowledgeable. Pat the location manager is absolutely awesome! She has gone above and beyond for me. She knows what she’s doing and is extremely pleasant and professional. The storage facility is very well run, reasonably priced and conveniently located. I’ve rented from other storage places in the past and this has been my best experience by far.

Beware of rate changes. Signing a contract and agreeing on a rate is not enough for them. My rate went up ~3x one month to the next because I got a good deal when I signed according to their office and now they have limited availability. They claimed to have sent an email, but I did not receive it and only saw the change because I checked my autopayment.

Pat gave me excellent service and advice and in a highly professional and competent manner. If I were not retired, I would steal her for may company.

The facility has lots of pluses and Pat was a terrific guide. She set up my account efficiently after a tour with a thorough briefing of features and policies. It is clean and well-maintained. I really like the security of being able to drive into a passcode-protected parking area for cars and moving trucks that is also the entrance to the storage units (separate from the business office). If it was closer to the lake, I might have given it 5 stars -- but suspect t would also have higher prices to go with that more convenient (to me) location. A good choice all in all.

I have a good experience when I visit the Public Storage in Skokie Illinois on Skokie Blvd the Manager Pat always meet you with a smile and takes care of your every need.

Short Term Only.The facility is clean, and I have never had any issue with the staff. Always courteous and professional. The issue is with the cost. I began paying $160 per month and within 6 months it increased $60. Since I was not in a position to be able to take my things out, I paid. But once I notified the company I was leaving, they sent me an email for 6 months at $150. That being the case, it should never have been $220 to begin with. Its bad business.

Worked with Maria on the phone and Pat in person at the storage facility.... both were extremely helpful and personable. I cannot thank them enough for their customer service skills. The facility was clean and well maintained. Overall, my experience with Public Storage has been awsome.

I usually dont give reviews, but on this particular situation, I felt that I had to give credit and thanks to the young man who had helped me. The gentleman Im referencing is Andre, right when I walked in I was immediately greeted with a welcome, and respect. The customer service and the knowledge who showed in regards to the property, was nice, I actually felt like the individual I was talking to knew his job, and most importantly I didnt feel rushed, and he was able to answer all my questions. I rented a unit at this facility over a year. When I started moving in the doors werent functioning properly. I was informed that I could access my unit at any time. That was not the case. Since the doors were not functioning properly everything was locked up when the office closed at 6pm. That made the move in stressful since I didnt get home until after 5pm.In October I received a bill for November with an increase. No notification that the price had changed. I informed customer service that I would be moving out at the end of October. Now I have received a call from the place stating my unit is unlocked and empty followed by an email stating I owe November rent. I called customer service and they said the facility would have to address my concerns. The lady I spoke with said she would have to speak with her manager and never called me back. Great customer service. For those looking to rent from public storage, please check other facilities. Their competitors offer cheaper rates with better customer service.

The motion sensor for the lights in the southeast corridor have not worked in months, so neither do the lights. Ive asked them to fix it but they havent. Not safe.

Best place! I was looking last week for storage and my brother showed me this location. Ms. Hanna explained it clearly and I’m coming back to store my home next month. I liked their huge parking access.. I think that’s what needed.

We have been a Public Storage costumer for at least 2.5 years. Every few months they increased our rent price by at least $10 to the point where we are now paying 130$ for a 7.5x10 storage space. I saw better deals online and wanted to get another storage. It took the representative who works at the site forever to get us signed up, after making multiple calls to the manager. Once we were finally all set with the signup process the storage they gave us is 6x10 instead of 7.5x10! This is horrible costumer service. They are SCAMMING us to pay the price of a medium size storage but for a smaller space area!!!! THIS IS ILLEGAL and UNACCEPTABLE!

I came in inquiring about a 10 x 10 storage, & was helped by John. Not only was he very nice & professional, but he was also very direct and clear about the storage policies. He was able to answer all my questions & concerns, now I have a good understanding on everything being that this is my first time getting a storage. The store was also very neat and clean unlike others I’ve visited before.

Have not been to my storage area for a couple of years, but was pleasantly surprised by the assistance, expertise and smiling face of Evelyn. My father just passed away and I needed to store belongings which was a difficult task. Evelyn helped make this experience easier to handle. I would like to add to this review by stating how wonderful Hanna has been in helping me with all my questions and concerns. She was professional, knowledgeable and provided great customer service to fulfill all my needs. Malcolm was a helpful assistant and was friendly and kind. They both deserve to be commended and Public Storage should be proud to have them as employees. They deserve recognition and accolades.

Storage facilities are probably all the same, but the staff at Skokie Public Storage place it far above the others. Maria, Adolpho and John are always available for questions and answer them clearly and professionally. In addition, all three have been pleasant and respectful in all of our interactions.Skokie Public Storage will definitely be my choice if I need additional storage space in the future.

I came for storage after being highly disappointed with other companies. After speaking with Evelyn I quickly came to the conclusion that doing business with public storage was the right decision.
