The worst experience I’ve ever had at an AutoZone. Guy who helped me was little to no help and had no knowledge of helping me with my return. He kept trying to get help from the manager who was ignoring him and being rude. I was returning a broken product I purchased online and another employee said “That’s why you don’t order things online”. I kept giving them the exact part number I need to order and they still couldn’t help me. After waiting for nearly 30 minutes I left and purchased a replacement on my own

I truly wish I could give them a negative rating. Purchased a can of McGuires tire shine spray two weeks ago. I only used it twice because I still had a half full can of tire shine spray at the time I purchased it. On Friday, May 21, 2021 I went through the carwash at Drive & Shine. When I tried to spray my tire with the McGuires tire shine, it stopped working. I thought that I shouldnt have a problem getting them to exchange it because there was still more half of the contents in the can. When I walked into store #4565, the store manager Robert Post was at a register, presumably too busy to assist me so he called for a young woman that was assisting someone already. He called for two other people who were in a different part of the store. One of the latter two people he called, assisted me. I explained that I hadnt had the spray long and that it stopped spraying. He shook the can in an effort to determine the amount of spray in the can. He then picked up a trash can and attempted to spay the tire shine into it. Of course it worked. I told him that I still would like to exchange it because theres no guarantee that it wont stop working again. The guy agreed to exchange it for me. He started the transaction and I went to get another can of tire shine. When I got back to the counter, Robert Post decided to get involved. He shook the can of spray and told me it was half empty and I replied that it wasnt before he and the other guy sprayed it into a trash can. He said he wouldnt exchange it. I asked him if a $10 can of spray was worth losing my business over. He replied that he didnt care. Robert Post treated me exactly the way he thought of me; like a black thief that was trying to get a can of tire shine for free. After leaving the store, I asked an employee who was on break if he knew the corporate phone number. He told me that the district and regional mangers phone number was on the back of the store hours sign. I went back in the store and took a picture of the phone numbers. Robert Post literally came aggressively out of the store and told me to get the hell away from his store. I told him it was his store, he worked for someone and I was going to speak to his boss about him. Robert Post then pulled his phone out of his pocket and called the police on me and made a false claim that I was trespassing. I finished spraying my tires, got in my car and drove away. Robert Post took pictures of my car as I left. I went home and waited for the police to arrive. While was waiting, I called the district manager, Craig Bean. I called and left two messages. I then called the regional manager, Eric Bell. I left a message for him as well. Craig Bean called me back after I called and left a third message. I told Craig about my experience and that I wont be shopping at Advance Auto in the future because of the way Robert Post treated me. Craig offered a very disingenuous apology and made no effort to keep me as a customer. Craigs demeanor told me that Robert Post wouldnt be reprimanded. I never heard back from the regional manager Eric Bell. Now, how do you think this would have played out if I was anything other than black? Do you think they would have just exchanged the tire shine? Do you think Robert Post would have called the police? Do you think Craig would have tried to retain me as a customer? And most importantly, do you think Eric would have called me back if I wasnt black? Consider that every member of Robert Posts sales team is white and both the district and regional mangers are white before you answer. How is that even possible in 2021?

This was literally the worst auto parts experience I have ever had. Avoid this place at all costs unless you are absolutely desperate. I waited in line for almost 30 minutes while one employee blatantly ignored customers and hung out talking to a friend. The only other employee was totally overwhelmed and was trying to ring up customers while taking calls. Ridiculous. Im ordering parts online from now on

During a cross country trip I encountered some car troubles around closing time and Mr Robert Post and his employee Kyle at this Auto Zone showed great empathy and patience in resolving my problems and made the rest of my trip much more relaxing; i would recommend this business to anyone

I really appreciate the extras here, one of which is the funnel they have for use in the parking lot. It seems I never have a funnel when there is an emergency and the ability to borrow one to take care of my car quickly is one of those perks that keeps me coming back for my auto needs.

I came in with year, make, model, and engine size to get a sensor. The young kid asked for my vin number. Said without it he can’t help me. Had to go to Oreillys because I had my other truck. The info I gave Oreillys was enough to get the right part.

I usually purchase items from Amazon but couldnt figure out what size blades my new-to-me SUV needed. Decided to check out Auto Zone and was hoping it would be easy to find someone to help me figure it out. Right away after walking in, I was greeted and asked if they could help me, and they immediately looked up my vehicle info and told me the blade sizes I needed. Another employee came over and offered to help me figure out the best blades for my SUV. I told him I could just google everything, but he insisted and not only went outside to see my SUV first (to check the hook--didnt even know that was something I shouldve known!) but then showed me the best options that would last the longest, and not just for winter (seasonal blades). He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and an asset to that store! I tried out the blades on the way home and theyre so much nicer than the brands Ive purchased in the past! Im definitely going to go there instead of Amazon for future purchases.

Robert W. is awesome. He is very nice and does his job very well, no bs. Robert replaced my car battery with no issue, after I had left Advance Auto because they said they could not do it...it was just pure laziness. I know that when I come to this AZ location, there are people there that really want to help and inform. I use to visit Advanced Auto more, but will be coming to the Auto Zone (AZ) on Michigan st. because of the great customer service. Very much appreciated.

I will never go back here. I had two blind spot mirrors standing and waiting. And waiting. Then here come a guy with an auto part looking it up on the computer for another customer. Hello !!! You couldnt take a second to help a lady and ring it up or even say, Ill be right with you. Never again ! And I let the guy know Im taking my business elsewhere !You cant take care of your customers, this business will never last !

I am not too familiar with vehicle maintenance so I appreciate that autozone has employees that can give me advice. I visited 3 times in the last week with minor vehicle needs (head lamps, battery terminal screw stripped and needing something to remove window tint) and they were able to guide me each time.

Things can be slow, but its an auto store where people have a lot of questions. The worker took the time to help me, took two version of the product to the car and helped me fit the right one and let me not purchase the other. Great for returns and knowledgeable.

I needed some help obviously with my car and he not only was extremely knowledgeable but Gave me many options of what might suit me . Usually when i go there i get great experience but this past time..not to great..i felt as if i knew more about cars than the guy working...i had to stand there for 20 min calling around to dealerships to get the diameter size of my roters and nobody could tell me anything just for me to get my brakes and roters replaced. !

Selection of products is standard. I was approached by a employee that asked if I needed help, but when I explained to her what I was looking for she suggested some odd alternative and walked away! When I checked out, the cashier acted like it was a demanding chore for her. I wont be going back to the Michigan street again!
