Didnt have any work done but when my bike stalled and wouldnt start they were more than willing to jump it and help me diagnose it. Great people. If they will do that for me imagine what they would so to help paying customers. Thanks again Precision!

I was debating whether to replace the transmission or junk out my vehicle. I was calling around to get quotes and, at a friends recommendation, I called Precision first. With the few details I gave they were able to tell me it was unlikely the Transmission and explained everything to me over the phone. I didnt bother calling anyone else. This car will be used to teach my daughter to drive so her safety is paramount to my family. Now that the work is complete I feel safe with my family in the vehicle and spent half the cost of a new transmission. It was a wonderful experience start to finish. Thank you!

Excellent experience. Took our 97 F350 in for a Flex Plate. They did exactly what they said they would. They charged exactly what they said they would (which was a far better price than the other 3 shops we called to get estimates for). Service was done exactly when they said it would be done and the truck was ready exactly when they said it would be. They gave us our old part explaining exactly what went wrong. They noticed some red flags that we need to look into, but did not try to sell us as the repair they noted obviously was a recent repair from another facility. We could not have asked for better service! Highly recommend and have no fears about the service and price youre going to get from Precision Transmission. As a former owner of an auto shop, it is very hard to recommend someone of quality. These guys are top notch.

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had at a transmission repair shop! They listened to the issues I was having and were great at diagnosing the problem, repaired and replaced only what needed to be done and even found a broken motor mount that could have been dangerous. I will never go anywhere else for all my transmission needs!

I had a older Ford Van, 1999, and I had the transmission rebuilt at another business and it never did work right. I wanted to sell it, it was starting out in third gear, so, that was not going to work, the van was not worth much at all. . Precision Transmission fixed it, and I know they were doing me a huge favor, ending 10 yrs of pain with that horrible transmission. They knew I did not want to spend a lot. They fixed it great and not expensive at all. They could have certainly charged more, very reasonable. They understood the position I was in . Honestly that van never ran that well, ever. I owe a lot of gratitude to them and would recommend them for sure.

They work for the warranty company with Quick Auto and dont always find the problem and its never covered on the warranty and they put a nice scratch on my bumper and not responsible for it and very pricey

Precision offers top notch customer service, and was able to get me back on the road without breaking my wallet. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and I have numerous times. Precision Transmission has always been great to work with. I take my cars to them for everything. They are helpful, understanding, and great at communication. I needed to leave my car with them for a few days before having it towed away and they were completely understanding. Special shoutout to Ian in the office who is always great to talk to and work with.

My go to for all my automotive needs

I had a transmission rebuilt there and 45000 miles later the cheap torque converter they put in it blew apart. Now I get to spend another 3000 to get it rebuilt again. I took it to Certified in Mishawaka this time. Of course they only give you a 24000 mile warranty at Precision because they know it will probably blow apart after that. That rebuild should have lasted 100000 plus. Take my advice and stay away.

They went absolutely above and beyond when helping me with my car. Took the time to explain everything to me in terms Id understand. Will continue to take my car here and recommend to others!

Took my car there to be looked at for a stalling problem. I was towed 1 mile. From muffler man to precision and was charged $60 just for the tow. I was then charged $40 for them to put my car on the lift and look at it. No actual work preformed. Will not be returning.

I highly recommend Precision Transmission for any of your automotive needs. The staff is very friendly and genuine. They will diagnose everything and explain things in detail, in order for you to make an educated decision of what needs to be fixed. They will not fix anything that isnt broken, and they offer shuttle service if you need a ride. A member of the staff actually waited for me to get a ride to pick up my vehicle after hours.....you just dont find service like that anymore. Great company. I went in for a per-scheduled appointment for a simple transmission fluid and filter change. Most of the Quick Lubes would not do the filter change and even one told me the car would not move after a filter change.Precision is a fair company and this being my first experience, I would go back!

Had them replace my tranny, heater core, and timing belt assembly. Had to go back numerous times because the tranny they installed was constantly messing up. Heater core they put in kept going bad and they didnt even fix the timing belt assembly but they lied to me and said they did. Ian kept giving me the run around and was rude. They treated me like I was gullible and stupid. I had to repeat myself over and over to them, telling them repeately about issues I was having with my vehicle. Theyd tell me, oh yeah, I drove it and everything seems to be working fine, after bugging them enough they finally would concede and attempt to fix my car. If its not blowing out hot air when the heat is turned on, there might be a problem. But these guys think that its normal for a car to be blowing out cold air when the heat is turned on. They never smiled or thanked me for paying for their services, and not once did Ian ever look me in the eye. Horrible customer service and even worse servicing on my vehicle. I will never recommend them.

The owner Steve is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. This was a warranty claim and because his company doesnt communicate with the warranty company he said it was my fault that he didnt know to check other issues. I explained the other issues on a Thursday and Steve said that he would check into these issues on Monday, but had to wait until the power steering pump was fixed. Pick up the car and those issue were not dealt with. I have a $50 deductible and Steve tried to tell me I had to pay for the sales tax. I explained that I didnt and he said that he has had problems with the warranty company covering the taxes. DONT ADD AN EXTRA EXPENSE ON ME BECAUSE YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE WARRANTY COMPANY. I was told to take it back to this horrible company and now I am getting I am not sure that we work on that tell me call you back. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They are over priced and the owner is so rude. I say to you Steve get a different job or dont work with the public because you have no social skills and no business talking to me like you did. I will pass this on to the 1000s of Facebook friends and everyone I speak too. Here is what I sent to the BBB and post on thier page. They of course remove me from the page but I am not done until everyone know my experience. You can make a judgement call on this company but I can tell you that you do not want to deal with Steve.Baker I took the car that I had just bought into Precision Transmission on a warranty claim. I told the warranty company all the problems. Precsion Transmission did not commucate with the warranty company and did know get all the information on what needed to be looked at. When Steve the owner call he said that he didnt know anything about it but he would look at it after the power steering pump was fixed. Couldnt do it until he could drive it anyways. Then when I got it back and asked about these other things he said he didnt know about the problems. He said you didnt make me a list. I asked did you ask me to make a list. NO responds. I then called the warranty company and told them that all the problems were not addressed. The warranty company called and spoke with Ethan the tech and he said there was nothing wrong with the car and didnt know about the other issues. Stever never told him. He said the car was making no noise. Which is funny because the owner said it was the alternator clutch. Also, when I drove off the hub cap that looks new fell off when we left the shop. Because they didnt put it on correctly and cracked. Stever the owner said it was already cracked, which is not noted anywhere on my notes. Because it wasnt. Now I have to pay another deductiable and it is a bunch a crap. Steve was super rude to me because he wanted me to pay the sales tax. I said that I pay the deductible and that is it. He said, to the warranty company yeah a whole $10. I explained it wasnt about the money but that I owed this car less then two weeks and all these problems arose and I wasnt paying for anything. He started stating that he has had issues with the warranty company paying the sales tax and he could get a 20.000 fine. I told him that is his issue with the warranty company. That I wasnt going to pay out of pocket. The warranty company told Steve that I wasnt to be charge. Steve said that for the last two month other people have been paying the sales tax, which means he is taking advantage of hard working people because he cant get his business on the right track. Steve is rude and over priced and did a horrible job with fixing my car.
