This is a great location to do business. Leslie the Manager was great, she and her associate also named Leslie were very knowledgeable and helpful. We switched 3 phones (with new phones) over from ATT to T-Mobile. It took a couple of hours but it was worth it.
Customer service is horrible. Especially Martin. I went in with an advertisement saying a deal and he would not even look at it and told me that anything they put out there is not true its just to get people into the store. Even though the week before another person working there told me that there was a deal.

I picked up a new phone and nobody had the cases or screen protectors. I stopped here by chance and Luis got me taken care of. He even installed the screen protector and its perfect. 5 stars man.
I would give zero stars if possible. Absolutely terrible customer service and they lie right to your face. If you are getting a new phone make sure they do not put protection on it when you say no and double check your bill so that they don’t hide it on there. I would’ve stayed with Sprint if I had the option.
Worst customer service I have ever received. Riley could not have cared less about his job or about helping me. He disappeared for 5 minutes in the middle of talking to me after chatting with his coworker about eating some ceviche in the back. I walked out of there and went to another location.
The store Manger and staff could not have been more helpful in making the switch to new plan and phone painless!
I stopped on to look at options for a new phone. Jose and Jerry went above and beyond to help me pick the right phone while going over all the phone specs. I took a phone home and it was not so much the phone that impressed me, it was the customer service i got from these guys, they were very patient, friendly and explained all the promotions so at the end it was easy for me yo make a sekection on a new phone. Thank you guys so much, ill be back for another phone this week!
All I wanted was to buy a Sprint phone. Wouldnt sell me a phone without activating. Charges me$20 for a sim card that I didnt need. Left to helps another customer while activating the phone. I will go back to ordering my phones on line to avoid the sales pitch and wasted time. Should only take 15 min to switch a phone not an hour
10/5/2020At the end of September, I wanted to switch from ATT to T-Mobile. Spoke to a Store Manager NAMED JAMIL and went into the T-Mobile in South Elgin. Was there literally for 3 hours. Mind you it was a pleasant experience, at least from what I thought. I didn’t know I was being taken advantage of at the time. The Store Manager Jamil in South Elgin, didn’t explain the billing, the changes or if I would see any credits. Messed up the PROMOS I WAS PROMISED. Also, he took it upon himself to go grab two screen protectors off the shelf and said “it was on him”. Wow, thanks! NOPE he added it to our account and now IM FINANCING $80, which is a small amount each month BUT IM FINANCING SOMETHING I NEVER ASKED FOR!!****WORTH THE DRIVE AND WENT TO HUNTLEY****THANK GOODNESS FOR ARIANA AND JOSH AT THE HUNTLEY LOCATION FOR EXPLAINING MY DETAILED BILLING, EXPLAINING THAT T-MOBILE DOESN’T RANDOMLY ADD ITEMS FOR YOU TO FINANCE WITHOUT ASKING YOU FIRST AND GENERALLY TAKING THE TIME TO HELP A CUSTOMER WHO WAS ABOUT TO DUMP T-MOBILE BECAUSE OF A BAD STORE MANAGER IN SOUTH ELGIN!
I went here hoping to change my carrier to T-mobile. The first thing I noticed was how clean this store was (compared to other phone stores). I was helped by Jerry who was very patient with me and explained all the possibilities that were there. He took into consideration my needs and answered every question I had. He made me feel welcome and didnt pressure or try to force me into any direction. I must say that Jerry and his team did a great job! They actually care about the customers and listen to the needs of a customer. You wont find another place with this level of professionalism. I am glad I went to this location, T-Mobile just got themselves a new customer! If youre thinking of switching to T-mobile this is the spot to go to !
Warning! We were quoted in this store for a plan and new phones and after everything was said and done our bill was over TWICE as high! We went back to the store and he said that was normal until promo kicked in, I called T-Mobile and they said that plan/promo had expired days before he signed us up and we did NOT qualify. I went back to the store and he talked to them and said “everything was fine and they were fixing everything”... I called back and they told me they told him the complete opposite and we still did not qualify! We are half way through our second billing cycle and still fighting to get this fixed and get the price we were quoted.
My experience in this T-mobile store was top notch; the worker(Jerry) who helped me was great, he was very knowledgeable, very polite and patient. He was a 100/10 worker. He made the experience what it was, and I was 100% satisfied with it overall.
The current manager is pretty cool. Very professional.
Honesty is the best policy, unless youre a cell phone company. We switched to T-Mobile after talking to a rep who promised a buy-one get-one deal on the Galaxy S8 since we were buying 6. This deal was only valid if you added a new line per two phones, but the rep said theyd waive it. None of what the rep said happened, and we are very very displeased. When you are lied to to make a sale, it is very unsettling.

Horrible experience today at this location. I asked the guy helping me at least 3 different times if the phone I was about to buy was FOR SURE only going to be $160 down and he assured me all 3 times that that would be the price. It wasnt until about half an hour later after filling out paper work and waiting, that he said he had to check something, and then said he checked my credit and that the price changed to $500 down. WTF! I figured I would have a high down payment, but thats not the point. WHY would you promise somebody one price without doing a credit check first. I figured hed already done it. Unprofessional, misleading, horrible service. Never going back. 👎

Hit or miss service. Ive had some people who were willing to help but didnt know what they were doing or the exact opposite. The reason for the 2 stars and not 3 is that when the note 5 came out I called several times over the course of 2 weeks and each time they said they didnt have any in stock. Im on the jump program (pretty big rip off) and wanted a new phone. Finally, I called on a Friday evening right after work and got the same answer of no they are not in yet and didnt know when they would get any. I drove right to the store (10-15 minutes max.) and magically they had them in stock. I asked the person when they got their shipment and was told theyve had stock of the phone in both colors since they were released two weeks prior. I guess the person/people on the phone just didnt want to do the work required to setup my new phone.My advice, if you like T-mobile (and I do), pick a different store.

I had an interview at 1 pm with Alexandra Vazquez, however when I walked in she gave me the impression that she forgot she had an appointment. On top of that she greet me with a “what’s up?” And told me she was busy with customers. I just walk out of there because I really don’t want to work and represent a business as poorly managed as this one.

I wanted to buy a pre-paid hotspot. they did that wrong and only gave me half of the GB I wanted but charged me for the full amount.When I called their help desk, they indicated they couldnt help me because it was between me and the store. GREAT way to have your companys back. I wanted a tourist plan for my uncle, they gave me a $45 prepaid plan. They kept insisting on me getting a contract when I wasnt interested in it because my family is visiting from another country for only a month. So because they are incompetent and didnt know how to do prepay, they screwed up everything I wanted. COMPLETE IDIOTS. spent 3 hours in that store with nothing to show for it because I still had to call t mobile at the end of the day to rectify ALL of their mistakes. I will never ever use tmobile ever again and I will spread that advice as far and wide as possible!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY!

This place basically gets the job done. Nothing exceptionally well, nothing great either. Had some account problems, and was able to walk in, along with about 3 follow-up visits and able to resolve my problem.
Sadly theres not a -0 star on this ! This is the WORSE t-mobile store... Back in May I went to get a replacement on my phone that I had lost in March( took me so long because i was in Texas) as soon as I came back I went to the store so the stupid JUMP insurance THAT I PAID $12 A MONTH for will give me anotherone SAMSUNG. I knew I had to give a deductive (I have lost a phone with them before and paid $150) but since it was a newer phone i figure that it was going to be more so i had $200+ to paid for anotherone..BUT NOO as soon as i get there one of the workes A*£× told me that i had to paid $400+ to get it, I asked why so since i had insurance? He replied YOU LOST YOUR PHONE DIDNT YOU? Well i guess.. I got a LG ugly cheaper phone so I could save up for the $400+ ... Time passes and i look at my BILL they were still charging me for the lost phone and the LG. I called and then one of the phone reps. Askes me why didnt i claim it to the Insurance that i should of only paid $175 ? Of course i was mad! The REP tells me that he only wanted to make a sale and that everything was going to get clear and get my Samsung back. But now the Worker that had told me it was going to be $400+ is saying that i didnt have enough money and that i didnt want to wait 3 days to get it. REALLY? i had been without a phone for more than 1 month! (They can see that in the records) why wouldnt i wait 3 days more? And he NEVER TOLD ME ANYTHING! LIES LIES LIES! But of course he didnt documented on the system and now they say that Im lying.. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE MONEY THEY WERE CHARGING ME FOR THE PHONE? That i had lost WHILE HAVING INSURANCE? Went down the drain?Now Im getting the run around they gave me the workers personal # so i can call him and tell him to say the true YEAH right and when i call he is BUSY! I call the store NO ANSWER, I call the department THEY CANT HELP ME ANYMORE??? So what now??°All of those commercials on TV about JUMP are fake.°They never gave me any # for INSURANCE (they said i should of call) no#yet°personal is VERY RUDE like to lie and wont put it on the systems of course!T-MOBIL SUCKS AT COSTUMER SERVICE! Now i will keep calling until they answer or until the guy is not busy? Please save your time and money THEY WILL STEAL IT! Dont go to this store or make any contracts here!!

One of the worst phone stores I have ever been to. This Wayne tonnson or johnson is a rude and highly unprofessional guy in the sevice industry one can imagine. Arrogant and condesending-if it were my employee he would be fired on the spot.T-Mobile will loose my business, after all they dont offer anything special so its easy to switch.Avoid this store by all means!!!

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Everyone in this store is so arrogant and racist. i went in to purchase a case for my new phone and expecting to receive the same costumer service as the previous costumer (white male) but no they were just trying to get me out the door asap i was looking for the cases for my phone they stated they didnt have any. i sent my friend in to see what reaction he would get (white male) for my surprise they magically received a shipment for him. Worst T-mobile Store.

Terrible customer service. Wayne is extremely rude and condescending. The girl who works there has zero respect for the customers and will take personal phone calls right in the middle of being with a customer and then make that customer wait while she chats. Go to any other T Mobile store but this one.
