Hands down worst experience I have ever had. Extremely unprofessional (variety of reasons) store manager refused service on a sim card error as they were within 10 minutes of close... I watched 3 customers be turned away and then was accused of commiting fraud and barred from the store. Worst retail experience from both a service and hygienic view point

Fact: this amazing team spent hours helping me with absolutely no pushing, rushing, gaslighting. I was there for hours and felt very lucky that I ended up in this store. Jocelyn Ulmer :) thank you and your team (I had the pleasure of working with Jocelyn, Justin, Matthew, and Joshua- who are all so kind to me that I wish I had more lines to add). They were honest with me, and I watched complete honesty with customers (this does not always happen!). When there is a wait, they tell you- you won’t be stuck in a corner, you are actually made aware! They are incredible people and run an honest business- I highly recommend this Verizon location to everyone. Truly, they all brightened my day and went above and beyond what you would ever expect. Get down there and get honest and kind service! Thanks again for all your hard work, everyone!

The minute I walked in I was greeted professionally and politely by Anthony. He solved my issues with ease and knowledge of the issue. I really appreciate the service as I exhausted all efforts on my own. Some places I would go into would want to sell me something I did not need. He was not that way. They could not transfer my old phone data to new one. Wait time in car very long. I felt rushed when I finally got in. In trying to transfer info from one phone to another it did not take 10 minutes. It took an hour. Glitches everywhere and I had to do it myself l.

I checked in and waited for over 30 min before speaking to a sales rep, who immediately took a condescending tone and told me they couldnt do anything for me based on the information I had provided at check in, and now there wasnt enough time left to make the necessary account changes before they closed! Total waste of time, when if they had told me at check in, I could have made the changes while I waited and been ready to go.

Went over to the verizon store in southportland. Got to work with Hannah. She got me set up with a new phone after my six year old one bit the dust. The store was very clean. I waited in line for less then 5 min. Hannah helped find the best phone for me at the best price. She was a peach to deal with. The staff at this Verizon store are amazing. I use Verizon for work, and used to have AT&T for our personal phones. The staff at this store was so helpful with my business account that my family decided to switch to Verizon, purely for the customer support this store provides. They all know their product incredibly well and are very willing to go the extra mile to assist their customers needs.

We were referred to Spencer by one of his happy customers and came to him skeptical that we could find a deal on a new phone that we could afford. He and Tim helped to pull together a package that not only helped us get one new phone, but 4 new phones for our family on a budget that worked. They were looking out for us, not just trying to make a sale. They spent their time after hours to stay until we were happy and all wrapped up to go. They were extremely knowledgeable, efficient, professional and friendly. We will return to Spencer and Tim for all of our Verizon needs!

Since the Biddeford store near me was closed, I called this office several times. Minor problem: they NEVER answer the phone. You just go through their digital system and get left on hold indefinitely. If youre going to claim to be open, ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE!!!

Stopped in at 11:00 wanting to get my laptop connected to my data plan (already have a cell phone with them). I was out of the store 10 minutes later with the sim card installed and activated. Very quick and friendly service.

The staff is fine, Im just tired of continuously being charged for an upgrade every time I buy a $900 phone from Verizon. They have the best coverage in the area I live in, but their fees to long time customers are outrageous! The made me give up a grand fathered unlimited coverage a few years back when I started to buy my new phones and now they have started offering a lower quality option as far as streaming again. I just think they treat customers of over 20 years terribly! Again, thats at a corporate level not at the store.

A minimum wage of 45 minutes to replace my phone, even though I knew exactly what phone I wanted and I just needed to grab it off a shelf I didnt need help holding anything over I can handle all of that myself. They really need to step up their customer service and improve their wait time.

Im not a Verizon customer but went into the South Portland store with a coworker and thought they were checking people in on a waiting list and there were also customers just walkung in being helped on the spot. Couldnt tell which was the procedure. Waited for a whole hour, got no apology, nothing and even minimized the issue she was there for. This experience would not encourage me to switch carriers.The employees name was Matt.

The gentleman who helped us setup our family plan was very helpful and even stayed late to make sure that everything was up to snuff. I have been very happy with this store and they seem to actually care when it comes to helping you find what you need or help with problems. This is the only store I frequent and I also tell friends, family and co-workers that this is the best VZW store.

Visited the store twice in less than 2 hours, waited 30 minutes only to be provided with arrogant, misinformation. I left without having my questions answered or my problem solved. I won’t be returning to that location.

Terrible employees who are trying to steal money from you no matter what. Management there sucks. You come in and they have you wait for hours while they are in the back laughing at you. Solution manager doesnt even shower and has no idea what the hell he is doing there or what a phone is. DO NOT GO IN THERE!!! Terrible experience

I’ve been a Verizon customer since about 2001 and I cannot say that all of my experiences with this store have been terrible, but twice I have been miss guided that has left me with a bitter taste…First was in 2012, went in the store to initiate an insurance claim to replace a 2 year old Motorola that had a bad spot on the touch screen. At the time I had unlimited talk/text/data… Staff advised me it would be a better deal up upgrade to a new phone due to a buy on get on free deal vs paying the deductible for a 2 year device. Went for the upgrade after he assured me nothing changes, but low and behold I signed away my unlimited data. Only found out when I got a message saying my data limit was reached...Store offered me no solution other than sorry he was new to sales...November 2018… Go in the store to upgrade one line to a new iPhone, sales person was very professional and helpful, he assisted my wife and I into a new Xr from her iPhone 7, he back up her info, sold her a case and screen protector, and installed both for her. He asked me if I was interested, I explained if I did upgrade I needed a rugged device that was a rated intrinsically safe and a non-incendiary due to my line of work… He pointed out 2 devices that met what I was looking for, It was getting close to closing time and said I would come back the following day. I returned met by a different sales person, I asked about the device from the evening before and was told “They are junk and everyone they have ever sold has been returned” ummmm different than what I was told the night before. So I told the sales person what I needed and was looking for. I was assured the flagship device he suggested met intrinsically safe and a non-incendiary rating I was looking for. ( I asked for this so I don’t get others or myself injured or killed) I asked to see the ratings literature but he could not produce them, but assured me they were… (another mistake on my part) Then on to the rugged cases…. Picked out an Otterbox, I asked if it was just like the one on my current S7 and I was told yes, but no screen protector on the new models… So now I need to pick out one if I want the full protection… ugh… so drop an other $45 on the screen protector, and a 3rd item to I get the “Bundle Deal” get to checkout, and I ask if we can get the phone assembled and activated. He then said they don’t do that in store and it was something simple I could do at home… Ummm guy last night helped my wife… This is now 1pm, get home wait until 3 to open up the device and start up procedure, before touching it I decided to apply the $45 screen protector…. Removed protective flim... start to apply, notice a “hair” along the bottom edge….ugh its cracked before I even installed it! Go through basic set up to get it working and go back to the store at 330 pm, Show the same sales person the screen protector…. Then told I must have broken it and his suggestion was to go to Zagg at the Maine Mall and spend $10 for my FREE replacement… 30 minutes I sat there waiting for a solution (which replacing the screen protector wasn’t an option because they wouldn’t have one for several months so the next best logical thing he could suggested was to unbundle my purchase and I pay an additional $100…..) I finally asked 40 minutes into this can I just get a car charger and be done….. (if he would have helped me set it up in store this part could have been avoided.) So out the door I go with a car charger I don’t need and no screen protector. Phone goes back into the box until I get home to put on the Otterbox Defender… I find the Defender doesn’t protect the sides of the screen at all …. I look up the phone specs… and it is not rated for the intrinsically safe or non-incendiary like I asked… so 14 hours after first opening the box, it is factory reset and back in the box it goes to be returned. They took it back, I debated and contested it to the manager but I still needed to pay $50 restocking fee based on the salesreps misrepresentation of the item… Still very agitated and never doing business there again.

I showed up 30 minutes before their closing time only to find that they closed early. This is not the first occassion and is a routine occurrence for this store. Evidently customer service is not a priority at this location. When I do talk to an employee there, they typically are rude and passive to avoid helping you unless you are there to buy.
