I haven’t been to the eye doctor in years, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The experience was so easy, and Dr. Steritz explained the whole process to me. The front desk ladies are lovely and kind, always a warm greeting. The man who helped me pick out my glasses had a better idea of what I wanted than I even did!! Wow. Things have changed so much since the last time I had an eye exam. Dr Steritz was awesome, explained everything that he was doing, and made sure I understood everything. Honestly, this is the best optometrist I have ever been to. The entire staff is great and their selection of frames is fantastic. But what matters most is the doctor. He takes the time to explain everything that he’s doing, uses amazing technology to show what’s going on with your eyes, offers recommendations on how to prevent problems way down the road, and his demeanour and professionalism is like no other I’ve experienced. He went over my vision insurance throughly. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The eye doctor is very professional and nice. After running some eye health tests he showed me the pictures and explained exactly what everything was supposed to look like in good detail. I’ve never been to an eye doctor who is so interactive and informative with their patients.

Dr. Steritz is the most thorough Dr. I have ever been to. He covers every detail that pertains to your visit. He explains every single step in the process. I am more than happy with the staff also. The first time I went, he found that I had a macular hole in both eyes and instead of sending me off with new glasses, he sent me to a surgeon which performed surgery on my eyes, and repaired the Macular.I give credit to Dr. Steritz that He went above a regular eye exam and and checked further. I went thinking I needed glasses, but I needed surgery.

First time at this optometry office but, best experience Ive had for an eye exam! Due to the Covid19 pandemic, office had a strict procedure in place that made me feel comfortable and safe. Doctor was very detailed in his explanations throughout the entire exam. I will definitely be back for my yearly exam and would recommend this office to everyone.

Dr. Steritz is the most thorough eye doctor I’ve ever experienced. He takes all the time necessary to cover your questions and concerns. When my son was learning how to wear contacts, Dr. Steritz was patient and spent as much time with him as it took (a long while!) to get comfortable with the process. Dr. Steritz is also patient with me and my reluctance to switch to multi-focal contacts. He suggested the switch two years ago at my first appointment but was not at all pushy about it. The bottom line is that he puts his patients’ needs, lifestyles, and preferences first. Everyone in my family of four drives 30 minutes to Southlake to see Dr. Steritz. We all highly recommend.

He is thorough and patient and explains everything before and after the tests.He answered all my questions about eyeglasses, contacts, lasik surgery, etc and addressed my concerns about my vision.Other office staff are also nice and professional. I really liked their safety procedures during the pandemic. You need to have appointment, they control your body temperature before entering the office and you required to wash your hands right after you entered the building.I am absolutely satisfied with their procedures and services and recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great eye doctor.

Showed up, Need an appt. Which is fine. No customers were in the store. They said one person were coming in shortly. The lady on the phone stated only two people in the store at a time. My kids already had a prescription we were wanting to look at the different eyewear they had. Store/office don’t have common sense in my opinion. Decided to take my business elsewhere.

First, I will preface, I understand businesses are following new rules and are being careful.My favorite glasses frames had just broken. I stopped by Friday afternoon to see if Eye Trends had any frames I liked and I was buying; since I was currently without glasses. The door said by appointment only and to call. I was outside the store and called to see if I could have an appointment and look at frames. I was the only car there and nobody was inside. I was told when I called I had to have an appointment and there were none available for Friday; even after explaining my situation. I drove down the street to Luxe Optics and spent a significant amount of money on two frames. Next time think twice before turning away business. Covid is not an excuse for laziness. Remember, it is the customer who pays your paychecks. Without them, you have no money coming into the business, without money businesses close and owners cannot pay you.

I had a tremendous experience at Eye Trends Southlake today w/ Dr. Steritz and his staff. The building was very modern, clean, etc. and everyone was really friendly. Their equipment, and Dr. Steritzs demonstration of my results, was super high-tech, and more advanced than any optometry clinic Ive been to. Im a US Veteran, and felt very welcomed by Dr. Steritz, and would recommend any Veteran (or anyone!) to go as well.

I am very impressed. The eyeglasses selection is pretty extensive and the office is clean and welcoming, but what really sets this place apart is the service. Both the optometrist and the optician are very informative, patient, and knowledgeable. They answered my questions thoroughly and explained everything that was being done. I was even able to buy my frames and have my lenses put in them and take them home the same day! THAT’S what you call service. Upon entering I was offered a bottle of water. I told them I needed lenses and I had time to look around at the selection and picked the ones I liked. They took care of my insurance and everything, explaining my costs and what would be covered, etc. I didn’t have an appointment either since I was just going in to see their selection, and next time I will definitely be scheduling one. All in all it was the best experience I’ve had at an eye doctor. Give them a call, you can’t go wrong coming here!
