The post from Jessica Parkhurst saddens me as I am another longtime 11 year patient of Dr. Ronin. My husband and I have the absolute and utmost respect for him and his entire staff. I was at the office that day and witnessed the whole situation. Dr. Ronin was very courteous and kind as he always is. This man is always great to his patients and greets them with a smile and makes sure you know how important you are to him each and every visit. He takes his time with exams and goes over any questions or concerns, always putting you at ease and making you comfortable. We have never had an issue with making our appointments and have only had to wait a few minutes before being seen.From what I heard, there was clearly some confusion with regard to Jessicas appointment, but at no time did I hear or witness anyone being rude or unhelpful. Weve all had instances when we thought we had an appointment only to be disappointed when we arrive and are told that there is no appointment in the system. Im sure that this was just one of those instances and there was no doubt that Dr. Ronin and staff were trying to figure it out. People are only human and mistakes happen, but I saw Dr. Ronin and his staff being their usual kind and caring type of people.What I really want to share today is how Dr. Ronin SAVED my eyesight recently and let everyone know I would never see anyone else - ever!I was working in my yard and had something get in my eye and didnt think much of it as I just kept rubbing it. Overnight it just felt irritated and I just kept rubbing it thinking it would be okay. The next day it was red and swollen and extremely painful - I wasnt sure what to do so I immediately went to see Dr. Ronin and he and his staff greeted me graciously, even with no appointment. He took me in immediately and diagnosed that I had a deep cornea abrasion. He knew what needed to be done and while it has taken several weeks to heal, there is no doubt my situation and outcome would have been awful without his perfect diagnosis and treatment.Bottom-line, if he hadnt seen me immediately, I believe I could have lost my eye-sight.Thank you Dr. Ronin for saving my eye and for always treating your patients with kindness and professionalism. We will always be your loyal patients so please never retire. Thank you to your staff as well, including Brad, Valerie and Mierya, who are the nicest and sweetest group of people anyone could work with.Thank you! -Tracy LaMarca

After today, I will be finding a new optometrist to see. I have never been treated as poorly and as if I was an inconvenience as I was today. I called Oct. 27th, 2021 at 3:33pm to schedule and appointment and to verify my husbands insurance was accepted. I spoke to a woman on the phone, she verified my new insurance, told me what my visit copay will be, what my coverage is with my new insurance AND let me know there was an appointment at 11am this Friday, today Oct. 29th, 2021, available. I proceeded to schedule the appoint at that time and verified before hanging up I was scheduled for 11am Oct. 29th. Before disconnecting she confirmed.I arrived to my appointment today at 10:45am to check in. Whoever was at the front desk lacks good customer service because she barely greeted me, looked at the schedule and said there is noone by that name scheduled. She didnt apologize, she acted as if me being there for an appointment was bothersome. My advice find another job. But it gets better. She asked if I spoke to a male or female then proceeded to blame the store side of the practice. She then tells me that there is an appointment for 11:30am, doesnt say anything else about it, didnt really give me an option to say Ill take it or not. She pulled up my file and asked about my insurance, come to find out it was never updated. Looked at me and asked me to sit down while she finishes checking in the other patients and shell get back with me if there is anything they can do. Dr. Ronin walked up to see about the next patient and she proceeds to discuss with him in the lobby about my appointment. His only response, which Im sure everyone else could hear as well because being on the far end of the sitting area I heard the entire conversation, was we will try to accommodate her. Again I had called 2 days prior and confirmed an 11am appointment. On top of that still no apology. Still nothing in recognition that there obviously was something wrong, someone missed something or didnt input information correctly.I sat there dumbfounded by this treatment and lack of professionalism. I have been going here since high school, mind you over well over 10 years, since I still had my maiden name. I live 30min away now and for the last 3 years still made the drive to come back to this office. Not anymore. I will not be going back. I told the young woman at the front desk, the one I was inconveniencing with my appointment to stop worrying about it, to not bother, not that I really think she was, and I would be finding a new doctor. Once again, nothing was said. She just sat there, no apology. It used to be the best place to go, but after today, after the treatment and the silence. I will not be going back. There is nothing they can do to fix this. Noone deserve to be treated in such a manner. I would rather leave a 0 star rating, but it is not an option.

I went recently for an eye exam and new glasses. Dr. Ronin is awesome!The staff is fantastic, friendly, and enthusiastic. The glasses selection was great. I found a pair that was super comfortable and they were finished and available at the store for pickup nearly a week before they were due. Really happy I went here, I would recommend them to anyone! The eye doctor and staff are top notch! They worked with our 12 year old son in helping him transition into contacts from glasses! Both the eye doctor and a staff member sat with him for over a hour helping him with the contacts. Thank You so much! You are all awesome!

I did an annual eye exam with Dr. Ronin, and he was very professional and kind. He identified one minor eye issue and explained thoroughly what it was. The equipment there is top-notch and more advanced and efficient compared to my previous eye exam facilities. Best eye exam experience so far and will visit again next year.

Everyone in this office is very friendly and professional. They helped me decide on frames for my glasses and I had them back within a week. This is my second year going there and I will continue having my eye exams there in the future.

Everybody was very extremely nice, very professional, took the time to explain things every step of the way and really just went above and beyond to show you they cared. Dr. Ronin was one of the best doctors that I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. He made me feel comfortable, answered any questions that I had and really explained things in a way that made sense. You can tell that he really love what he does. The entire staff was great. The woman who took all of my information and did all of the preliminary work was awesome too. She was very outgoing and had a warm, inviting personality that made you feel welcomed. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name. When it came time to pick out glasses, the gentleman Brad who assisted me could not have done a better job! He was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, super patient and spent about 20 to 30 minutes with me picking out different frames to try on until I found the perfect pair. He made me feel like he actually cared and I felt extremely comfortable with the choices he was making. I knew I was in really good hands with him...and the rest of the staff for that matter. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will definitely be back to see Dr. Ronin and his staff, as well as Brad. Fantastic service!

Went in for my husbands eye exam and glasses, not knowing what to expect. He hadnt had an exam for a long time. No worries came our way at all. Dr. Yuri was great. And Brad was awesome! Brad explained things that really helped and educated us on all our options. He even made clear what past eyeglass offices did not. Very glad we chose this office!

I called in to make an appointment for an eye issue and they were able to get me in the very next day. I have been going to this specific Pearle Vision for years, but was surprised at the change of doctors since my last visit. My concern was immediately put to rest as soon as I walked in the door. The staff there is tremendous. Friendly, informative, efficient- totally on top of their game. Dr. Ronin was a delight! Extremely friendly, very thorough, and explained everything in easy to understand terms. After my exam I met with the staff to discuss new glasses. They were so helpful in explaining all the different options for lenses, and answered all my questions. They wrote down several price options and never rushed me through the process, allowing me the time to decide before moving forward. I am SUPER impressed with everyone affiliated with this office. They have gained a loyal patient for sure!

So Impressed with this Eye Doctor. He took his time and answered any questions we both had. Friendly, professional, and to the point. I originally had an appointment at another eye care facility and the exam cost was going to be $440, instead we went to Pearle Vision Southlake and the visit was $89! That is a $350 savings, not to mention the Ray Ban glasses I selected were half the price of the competitors, and they are ready in 2 hours. Highly recommend this place!

Great fast service! My insurance was already verify when I arrived. The doctor answers all my questions and took time to explain to me what I didnt understand. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about glasses. Was impressed with the variety of styles of glasses they have.

Im a bit confused by all the bad reviews... The experience I had was great! The doctor was very helpful with my contacts rx and let me try a few until we found one that worked. The girls at the front desk were always very nice and entertained me while I waited. Over all, a good experience and I will be returning.

I was using this office in the past, and I wasnt impressed. Now after I heard about ownership changes, I decided to give it a try again. It is too early to say, but change of ownership should improve operation of this location dramatically. First of all it was super easy to schedule appointment with the new doctor. Customers have option to schedule appointment either online, or over the phone. Wait time in doctors office was minimal, despite doctor had several patients at the time. While at exam room, Dr. Ronin took his time to examine my eyes, and explained all my options. He even showed me a pictures of the back of my eye, and explained everything. And the most important thing is, he has exceptional bed side manners, and expresses sincere interest in his patients. After I finished with optometrist, I went to retail side. They have wide variety of modern frames to fit every budget. I was helped by one of the knowledgeable sales girls, and she was great in helping me make my selection. Over all I had great experience with doctor Ronin and sales people. Thank you.

Dr. Ronin, the new doctor here, was fantastic. This is not the closest location to our home but well be moving all of the eye care for our family here. We were very impressed.

I recently went to this office and met the new doctor and staff. They were all really friendly and inviting. They made my visit a breeze. I had scheduled my appointment online and they called me a day before with a friendly reminder. The doctor spent time going over everything about my eyes and even showed me a picture of the back of the eye. When I got into the optical I found a large selection with very modern styles and more importantly these fit my budget. Going to the eye doctor was never on my list of top priorities, but these people sure do get it right when it comes to customer service. I highly recommend everyone at least give this place a try.

When it comes to your eyes, you want the best of the best someone you trust your vision with, not only an optometrist who excels and is passionate about their field, but a doctor who takes time and explains everything, without making it seem like you wont be able to understand, and makes sure you leave happy and satirized with their service and environment. Dr. Yury Ronin is not ONE OF the but THE best optometrist in DFW area. He was able to diagnose and treat a condition I had been suffering with the past year, a condition 3 other optometrists failed to diagnose or even acknowledge. I was in so much pain trusting 3 different doctors for help, they dismissed what I said and how much pain I expressed and said im fine in need of a dermatologist. I lost all trust in any doctor, I was traumatized. Once the condition got worse and my vision became extremely blurry I had no choice but to see another doctor, Dr. Yury Ronin, was not only able to treat my eyes, but also made me physically and emotionally feel so much better and happier than I had in a while. If you want an amazing doctor, a friendly environment and feel like you are his priority not just another patient, Dr. Yury Ronin is the only optometrist that can provide that.

Found my new eye doctor—new ownership makes all the difference. I’m not one to usually leave feedback, but really wanted to share my positive experience. I’ve been in search of a new eye doctor. After reading older reviews from the Southlake location was a bit hesitant, as the reviews were mixed. Location is very convenient for me and so are the hours, so I decided it was worth a shot.Couldn’t have been more pleased with my visit and was happy to learn about the new management! Dr. Ronin recently took over and was knowledgeable and patient. He answered all of my questions/concerns and didn’t rush our appointment. His staff was friendly, familiar with my insurance, and helped me pick out new frames. If looking for a new eye doctor—highly recommend Dr. Ronin!!

After having a very poor experience, Dr. Ronin personally reached out to me to make things right. I understand were all human, we all make mistakes, but when someone goes out of their way to make a wrong right, that shows a lot of character.I would recommend Dr. Ronin to anyone looking for a great optometrist!

I went in for a exam. I did mention I had to take my old pair of glasses off while working so I was given the anti-glare for night driving that I took back right away since I was seeing blurry lights. so now I am taking them back and cancelling my order due to the grey ovation on the glasses does not turn darker at all when I am outside. a wasted exam and time. I did like the frames. going elsewhere

Very poor customer service and staff has very little knowledge of what their jobs are. The staff is only concerned with their commissions and will over charge you for everything possible. There are many better and legitimate places to go, shop around and spend your money elsewhere unless you like being ripped off. Worst service and quality of product ever.Avoid this place at all costs.

Watch out for Bipolar Dr. TammiIll make this short and sweet (unlike my experience at this store)Went to this location for exam/contact fitting and the exam initially went fine.She gave me a trial pair of contacts and I informed her that the right eye was blurry.Her response was Your eye just needs to adjust, wait a couple minutes. I said OKand waited. Five minutes later, still blurry. I told her assistant and she informed me she would beright with me. 45 minutes later...the Dr. came back in a very rude and cold demeanor after I told her how long I waited and now I was late for another Dr. appointment I had that day.She then informed me that the reason for the contacts being blurry was due to the prescription being wrong because they didnt have my lenses which was never told to me in the beginning. I told her she never informed me of this to which she snapped back and said Yes, I did.She never apologized about making me wait and then still wanted her $125 for the exam and fitting even after I STILL CANT SEE ANYTHING out of my right eye!I told her that I would pay it, but dispute it with my bank to which she told her staff to Rip up his prescription and cancel his contacts. Then I asked for the manager and they told me she is the owner! Unbelievable...I wasted over two hours for NOTHING. Went to Target Optical and paid $65 for the exam and fitting! Yes you read right, $65!Please read other reviews about her unprofessional attitude and rude service, seriously I am not the only one. She needs her franchise revoked. DO NOT GO!

These guys are FANTASTIC, extremely helpful, great selection, and excellent deal for my glasses. They are ready in 2 hours, can you really beat that? I was almost sucked into a Dr Appointmemt in FloMo, I called before the appointment and asked what the exam cost was, they told me $440. I cancelled it and went to Pearle Vision Southlake and saved $350. Impreased!

Great customer service! I visited Dr. Ronin several times in one week due to an eye abrasion. Dr. Ronin was very professional, on time & friendly. He made sure my problem was resolved and answered all my questions. His staff was also courteous and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Ronin and the Gateway Plaza location.

These people are so nice and helpful they are great!!!

They are very proficient at being incompetent! They will schedule you for appointments and the optometrist will not even be there for that appointment. They say they will mail your orders to you, but will actually hold onto them so you have to cancel your work appointments to retrieve them from the store. The scary part of their incompetence is the fact that they do not care to show it.

After a few visits over several years I have moved on from Dr. Hannaman. While Dr. Hannaman is fine (not good, not great) her staff has always been rude and unenthusiastic about their jobs. Save yourself the time and go to an eye doctor whos staff will treat you with respect and value your time.

Felt harrassed by the employees. Would not honor their deals and promotions either. Great variety, horrible customer service.

A new doctor, what a difference!!! I visited this Pearl V location a few times in the past for an eye exam, this is the first time I was truely happy with my prescription. I have a high astigmatism and my eyes are very sensitive. Within a years time, my script has seen a change for the worse. Dr Ronin was thourough, listened and truely took his time during the examination. After the exam, I went over to the retail side and picked out a pair of glasses and a pair of stylish sunglasses. The lady was warm n helpful with the frames selection. Came back the next day, both pairs were ready n waiting on me to be fitted. My vision came into focus a lot better with this new script, especially driving at nite. It took about a day for my eyes to fully adjust to the new prescription. I am happy and will definitely pay them a visit in the not so distant future.

Stay away from this office! Very rude staff and a temperamental doctor. I had to come back because my prescription was off on my right eye. During the re-exam the doctor got frustrated when I complained that the image through the phoropter was blurry while she insisted it was the right prescription. She then forcibly grabbed my hand and said, Here, you do it!, and made me adjust the instrument myself! I was shocked! I The entire staff is rude and very arrogant at this office. Btw, the prescription is still off!

Visiting from out of town, and my glasses broke. We just happened to be going by this store, and I stopped in to see if they could help me out.They not only replaced the missing part, but the corrected the earpiece, cleaned the lenses, and confirmed that they still fit on my face properly, but they did it all fore free!I have never worked with Pearle Vision before, but I appreciate the time they took to help me out.

My daughter took her glasses in to get her her frames adjusted, they lady went in the back and came out and they were scratched on one lense and she would not take responsibility, now no one wants to fix them and she can not see out of one side, she has expensive and special lenses.
