I am new to Spokane and had a very positive first experience with my eye exam and adjustments to a few pairs of my own glasses several months ago, but I really want to give kudos to Sheri Howton for helping out my mom today. Mom was visiting from out of state and recently got new glasses, but they werent properly fitted. We were able to walk right in and sit with Sheri simply with the hope of having the glasses fit properly until she could bring them back to the optometrist in Montana. Sheris thoughtfulness, knowledge, concern and expertise were very welcome and reassuring. She spent nearly 45 minutes with mom to not only show her the problems with the lens fit and frame quality, but also to help coach her on what to say to the optometrist when she gets home. THANK YOU SO MUCH SHERI!!! All my referrals will go to you and The Eye Care Team!!

I had such a positive experience here today. It was my first time going to them for an eye exam and from making the appointment over the phone, to getting my exam done, and then ordering glasses, everyone I interacted with was so nice, professional and helpful. The exam also felt very thorough and non-invasive. I’m sure the procedures may vary depending on your personal medical history, but in my case at least, there were no uncomfortable drops put into my eyes and no startling puffs of air blown into them, which is what I’ve basically come to expect based on my previous exams at other eye care offices. Maybe technology has just advanced in the last 2 years since my previous appointment, but I really appreciated it. Michelle was especially awesome and she helped me pick out my glasses and was very patient while I decided on the perfect pair. I would absolutely go back to her to order my next pair.

If you’re looking for the best, you must try Eye Care Team in Spokane. Very friendly, punctual, and my son who has never been to the eye doctor before had an great experience. I continue to recommend them to both friends and family.

Never a disappointment working with such a knowledgeable, skillful, and a wonderful listener when selecting the best eye glass frame for members of our family. His opinion is valued and honesty is golden! He has always gone the extra mile when matching the frames that best suit our taste, style, and face shape. Brad make the process so easy and one is never rushed! Our only regret is that Brad only works on Wednesday, but he is worth the wait! He is a wonderful communicator, as well!

Very friendly, at ease staff. Had an optometry appointment set by the MEPS station at Fairchild AFB, and I was already having a stressful day. The people at the Eye Care Team were a welcome change to the day.

Being on a new budget as my husband is going back to school, I really appreciated my experience here. Dr. Evans is very caring and took additional photos of my eyes due to my poor eyesight to make sure no concerns. Since money was tight but I needed both new glasses and sunglasses, Kelly helped me choose the best deals/options for me. She was also very accommodating of my work schedule and did not rush through the process, even though I came in close to closing time swhen picking out AND picking up my new glasses. In addition, incredibly fast turn around from when my glasses were ordered and when they were ready. Im very grateful for the Eye Care Team; Downtown Spokane - thank you!!

I like Drs Evans and Kellogg; theyre both very nice, and thorough. But the reason Im leaving a review today is Brad. Let me back up though:About six months ago, I brought in new glasses that I had purchased elsewhere and asked to have them adjusted. The person who helped me seemed to be in a hurry, and after spending about 18 seconds adjusting the frames, handed them back to me. They seemed straight enough, and the person seemed to be done with me, so I left. After only a few days, the glasses were falling off my face. Im so timid that I just lived with it.Enter Brad.When I went in today, he spent real time and effort making the rather big adjustments that were necessary to make these frames fit. I told him he changed my life. That may sound silly, but these dumb glasses not falling off my face every two seconds, for real, improved my quality of life. Im grateful he took the extra time, and will be more comfortable asking to have my frames adjusted properly in the future.

We were pressed for time...the staff worked diligently to obtain my daughters insurance benefits, helped with her glasses purchase and informed us that her contact lens would also be covered by insurance! Customer service that goes the extra mile...a rare find but so appreciated!

Hands down the best eye care office Ive been to. I have worn corrective lenses (primarily contacts) for about 2 decades, but within the last year my eyes began rejecting my contacts. My eyes were constantly irritated, I was more sensitive to light, and it usually felt like I had something stuck in my eye. Other offices diagnosed this as either an allergy to my contact solution or the lens itself... either way, it was clear that my contact days were over.Because the Eye Care Team is right across from where I work I decided to give them a try, and I honestly wish I would have done it sooner. Dr. Evans and his team were the only ones to accurately diagnose my condition, which was severe dry eyes. I was still unable to wear contacts on a long term basis (I could do 1-day disposable lenses), but Dr. Evans was able to walk me through my treatment options and provided me with a good plan.In the end I ended up deciding it was time to do have Lasik surgery which I did all of my follow up appointments with the Eye Care Team. Dr. Evans was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and always remembered my needs. As far as recommendations go, the Eye Care Team is my #1 choice.Bottom line: they know what theyre talking about, they know who your are, and they remember your needs.

Good doctor and friendly, helpful staff. However, as a contact lens wearer for 20 years, I found the mandatory contact lens fitting exam (costing me $55 out of pocket) in order to simply receive my script in hand to be unnecessary and ultimately a deal-breaker.

I switched to Dr. Evans at The Eye Care Team after I had a misdiagnosed issue with my eyes at an optomotrist. They are very professional and caring, every appointment that I have had with them since making them my primary eye doctor has been a true delight. I am happy to recommend them to anyone.

Wow had the best experience. The doctor was very knowledgeable, the staff was very helpful, it was clean, The best part was picking out the frames. I had a personal helper. I came to the Eye Care Team 2 years ago when my vision was wacky and scaring me. Dr. Kellogg was incredible. I just called today at the last minute because my son injured his eye and they got us right in. Kara is incredible. She is professional, quick, kind, and really took great care of us from the moment I called to ensure we were satisfied. I had forgotten where I came two years ago and almost made the mistake of going to another eye care clinic. Thank goodness I was directed back her to the Eye Care Team because they are truly exceptional

I have been coming here since I was a kid seeing Dr. Kellogg he is amazing. The selection is great. This was by far the best visit. Front desk is great, Dr. Carlson, he is amazing, very nice & explains everything. MAKE SURE you ask for Antwahan Wells when you pick out your glasses! You wont be sorry! He will not let you walk out looking like Milhouse from the Simpsons! Very upbeat, and a great eye for glasses!Side note to the front desk, I think he did eat the donut.

Good place, if you can afford to go there.I went because my insurance, VSP, was accepted there. But the sticker shock was amazing.The exam cost $200 (Which my insurance covered fully) and a pair of polarized prescription sunglasses cost the following:$182 for the frames.$150 for the right lens.$150 for the left lens.$110 for the anti-reflective coating.In the end I paid only $277 out of pocket, but that still seemed pretty steep. By comparison I priced out a similar pair of glasses online and they were $70 without insurance.Yes, the office staff was nice, and the glasses are nice, but those kind of markups are just insane.

Brad at the Eye Care Team downtown Spokane was a rockstar to work with! I came in with broken prescription sunglasses... and within a few hours I had a brand new frame with my old lenses cut down to size. Bonus points for making it happen just a few hours before closing for a long holiday weekend! Friendly doctors and staff, great selection and super convenient location!

My first visit was for an adjustment on a pair of older glasses and it was Antwahans birthday, probably the most fun Id ever had at an optometrist, so of course I went back a few months later for my next pair of glasses. Everyone there is so great, Kelly went the extra mile to help me choose some frames that I probably wouldnt have considered without her consultation and they turned out to be the best glasses Ive ever had! Recently I had to get them adjusted but the office closes at 5:30 so I had to hustle there after work, popped in their door at 5:26 and they were super sweet, even though they were about to close. Antwahan adjusted my frames and I was back out of the door at 5:31. Long story short, The Eye Care Team rocks!

Great people, very friendly. Overall I very much enjoyed working with everyone. I did have to wait awhile past my appointment time to see the optometrist. And I did not like that you had to pay for parking. Also, everyone was great at finding my insurance and telling me how much everything would cost.

I have never been so upset with an eye doctor. My husband and was seen for his annual exam. Dr. Kellogg said he was concerned about cuppling in his eye which is a sign of glaucoma. We were scheduled for another appt for testing. He was tested and then told that they needed to run the test again to confirm the results. My husband was visibly shaken but no one would spend the time to explain what the results were or why another visit was required. We waited another two weeks for the follow up test. My husband was put through the testing two more times on this visit and then went to see Dr. Kellogg. He informs my husband he has peripheral vision loss but needed to get another scan to look at his optic nerve. After this scan he confirms my husbands fear that he has glaucoma. This is a scary diagnosis. Forget the testing and rescheduling- this is the part that was so frustrating. Dr. Kellogg then goes on to say that he is going to have my husband return for treatment with the other doctor. We start asking questions about what this means- he is completely annoyed that we are asking questions about the life altering news. He says, “again, I am having you meet with the younger doctors because I am not going to always be here and he will need ongoing treatment.” He would not answer questions or even attempt to show empathy for his situation. I was shocked at his dismissive and passive attitude with no regard to my husband. Dr. Kellogg- if you don’t intend to treat people, retire now.

They have always been helpful and friendly but last week I need to have a pair fixed, It was going to take longer than I could wait, so Brad fixed them then brought them to me at my meeting a half a block away. That is customer service!

Doctor Evans was great with my family. My kids love him but his staff was rude and cant keep their stories straight. I was going back in for a contact lens exam and was told they could bill me for the exam. When I called the day of the exam to make sure, I talked to 3 different people and got different answers each time. They became very rude and finally told me that they cannot bill a person just insurance companies. So I felt that they originally lied to me....plus why would a company offer a discount to pay on the date of service if there is no other way for a patient to pay?

Kelly Rao, optometric assistant, was really helpful and kind. She repaired my glasses for free and gave me a free cleaning kit! Would 100% recommend this place, they have amazing customer service.

I purchased some glasses from the Eye Care Team. There were several issues that delayed the delivery of my glasses, but they provided excellent customer service and kept me informed of the issues and the resolutions. A special thanks to Kelley and Michelle! You guys rock!

They pulled the ol give you half the script unless you buy our frames routine. Very competent staff but their policies are dubious to say the least. I pay out of pocket for my exams which isnt cheap so for $240 for a 45 min appointment I feel a little ripped off. Get the exam and DEMAND whats rightfully yours which is the whole script BEFORE you go in. Not cool guys, not cool at all... order your frames and lenses online and save $200

Walked in and receptionist was too busy to get off the phone to even say hello to us. My aunt and I and a few others there waiting heard the receptionist complain about another employee in a very nagging rude way. Only reason I would give this place 5 stars is because of one sweet happy mood employee who goes by the name Kelly. We loved her. She was so happy and talked to us like we have been friends for years (I honestly wanted to be friends with her for real). She has such an elegant accent. Honestly if you come here ask only for her. Also the receptionists name is Michelle and later I found out she is the supervisor. She was more interested in gossip and having attitude.

Switched from another provider whose experience left me feeling like a number and not a thorough exam at that. Have had two annual exams for contact lenses and recently went in for an irritation in one eye. Professional, friendly, courteous. Definitely a keeper.Only negative is the optical department is gastly expensive.

Very Unprofessional.Very Rude.I would never go back because of Dr. Kellogg’s staff.I switched to Dr. Cozzes’ office down the street because Dr. Kellogg’s staff was so rude.I paid for the thinnest lens available and two other optometrist told me that the lens in the glasses they sold me were not the thinnest available. The Eye Care Team gave me a small refund.Dr. Kellogg, you should hire someone to pose as a potential customer and you would find out who you need to fire in order to protect your business.

Walked in to ask about purchasing a eye glasses case because Id left mine at home before boarding the plane to Spokane.Kelley at the front desk offered to just give me a case. Not only that, but she also have me since lens wipes, and a small bottle of lense cleaner.If this is any indication of their other services, Id surely be a paying customer if I lived here.

The service of this office has gone downhill fast. When I asked for my prescription at the end of my appointment they immediately began unhelpful and rude. Ended up giving me only part of my prescription. When I politely asked for the other half of the information they were unfriendly to say the least.
