Both departments of glasses and contacts are very professional. A little on the pricey side with the products but they have other benefits that other places dont have. For example, unlimited frame and lens replacements for have the price than other places whom only replace in a one time deal. Do you research and you will love these guys.
Unbelievable corrupt and terrible group - Im 63 and have never seen the like. I have no deductable medical and no deductable vision and they charged me a $30 co-pay for a routine eye exam visit. I got both my medical insurance provider and the vision plan on conference calls with the business officer at Sexton a few days later after I verified my no deductable and no co-pay coverage and the office manager basically said she didnt care if I had no deductable that they want their $30 no matter what.

My appointment on May10, 2021 was my best ever experience all because of the staff and Dr Darnell at the North Town Mall location in Spokane. I was put at ease by her joyful personality, sense of humor, and easy professionalism. Thanks for the relaxed experience. Iβll be back.
Dr. Woolf and his staff were wonderful as we struggled over several weeks of trial contacts to determine the proper type of contact lenses and the correct Rx because I am dealing with developing cataracts in both eyes and an astigmatism in my right eye. They were all so patient and truly went the extra mile.
Will never go back here. Was told I would be charged $139. Was charged $214!!! Dr. Koh spent very, very little time with me. This was the quickest eye exam Ive ever had in 40 years. He didnt bother to answer me when I asked if I had astigmatism- just brush the question aside (rather important if Im getting a new prescription..). He gave me 4 days of contact lenses to try even though he stated I needed to try this brand of contacts out for a full week. Two days was enough, they were horrible. I felt rushed and unheard. Ive made an appt elsewhere and consider the $214 an expensive lesson. So many other wonderful places to go...

Stay far away from this place! If I could I would give no stars at all!! I spent close to $700 with insurance and had to return 3 different times to try and get the correct contact lens prescription. At the end I was given the same prescription for both eyes even though my eyes have never been the same strength. When I called to alert them about this mistake the manager Breanna was very rude and unprofessional and needs to be fired!!!! They are lazy and dont care about their customers at all!! Very stuck up! I have warned my family and friends to go elsewhere!
The doctor and technician were amazing, friendly and personable. The front desk person, although fairly helpful, left something to be desired: instead of trying to find an answer to my question about a discount, she continued to indicate she wasnt sure, didnt offer to ask someone or try to find out, and I still am left without an answer.
Eye exam wasnt as hard to take as I thought. The staff to a person is friendly, competent and pleasantly antagonistic.

The Lenz Crafters part of the store was a 5/5 experience. Sexton Vision Group on the other hand was possible the worst experience I have had in an doctors office. Staff was rude and for a simple eye exam I was there almost 2 hours. If you need glasses get your eye exam somewhere else before you go.

Iβve been going to the eye doctor every year since I was 9 and they are always the same, boring and time consuming. My experience at sexton vision group today was the complete opposite! All staff was extremely friendly and efficient. OD Michelle was awesome she made a couple jokes and really made my experience personable! I recommend going here for a quick personable eye doctor experience!

All went well. Wasnt expecting to have to pay for exam guess Im out of net work. Also lens crafter no longer makes lenses, 10 day wait. So went to eye mart express. Had two pairs of glasses in 2 hrs. Been going to lenscrafters for 20 years. Seems they forgot their base customers. Guess I will be going to eyemart express in the future.

Everyone was incredibly helpful and communicative. I loved how easy it was to feel comfortable asking questions and asking for unbiased and honest opinions on fit and style of frames as well as practical utility. The measurements were done so patiently and extensively that I feel like this was one of the best experiences I have ever had when ordering glasses. I work with kiddos with Autism and it is imperative that I (especially due to being legally blind) have quality and comfort in my glasses and they definitely made sure of that! 10/10 would recommend going to Lens Crafters! I will definitely be going back!
Great customer service I dont remember the girls name but Marcus was awesome he helped me get my new lenses squared away and helped me get some sunglasses as well all around great service.

I did a three star because when I called them they said that they accept my insurance and I pick glasses the same day if I need them. When I got to my appointment come to find out when my exam was over they did not accept my insurance to purchase the glasses they only accepted my insurance to do the exam. Then offered me to purchase the glasses out of pocket. I feel I was lied to on the phone as they did not accept my insurance to purchase glasses which I specifically asked when I called to determine if I would schedule an appointment with them.

I was referred to you by my insurance company, who assured me that you were a full service vision company (was told you did the exam, and also provided the glasses if needed) The exam part went fine, the people were professional and courteous and it was determined that I needed prescription glasses. I was then sent next door to lenscrafters, where I was told they dont accept my insurance and tried selling me cheap looking glasses for $199.. I explained what my insurance company had told me and was treated rudely and coldly, it was very embarrassing. I will never be back nor will I ever suggest anyone else go there. If Dr Sexton cares about his patients, he will cut ties with lenscrappers who obviously only care about money and poor customer service..
As Iβm a retired individual on a set income, I was not pleased with the medical procedure I was charged for. I am a return customer and have had roughly the same bill previously. Around $ 110 as such I seriously doubt I will return as there are many places to receive a eye exam.
Wonderful experience during this tough time. I felt my safety and health was their number one priority. They all wore masks, washed their hands, they have protective shields at their front desk and everyone was super nice and friendly. I highly recommend sexton vision group for all your eye care needs.
Dr. Darnell and the office staff were amazing and so extremely helpful. They made a very scary experience so much better with my scratched eye. They go above and beyond in the help and care they give to each and every patient. I am so thankful of them and appreciate each and everyone of them.

Dr. D was amazing. It was so nice to visit an eye doctor with a personality. She made me so comfortable and explained everything she was doing. She answered all of my questions and explained what she was looking at and why she was looking at it. It was so nice to be comfortable during and an eye exam. I dont like things near my eyeballs and I literally had NO PROBLEMS during any part of the exam. 10/10

Not impressed that an eye exam goes from 100 bucks to 300 bucks just because some cataract is found. Seems that the exam is the same procedure whether its found or not. Doesnt make sense and the explanation given for the findings of cataract and why the bill triples was not satisfactory nor did it make sense.

I canβt tell you how pleased I have been with our experiences at Sexton Vision Group. Starting with my adult son who saw Dr. Darnell for the first time sometime a year or so ago and had his best ever, most accurate vision prescription due to her thorough exam and discovery of an anomaly that no one had caught previously, despite many years of corrective lenses. He sang her praises. My adult daughter finally went in last month and, lo and behold, she has the same anomaly and is now wearing g glasses for the first time (despite years of having her eyes check and being told they were fine...she even worked for an optometrist!!). Sheβs thrilled with her results. So, I donβt wear corrective lenses, but readers just werenβt working correctly for me, so I took a chance. Short story: guess who passed along the anomaly?! Yep...in my 50s and discovering what I just dealt with as normal isnβt actually normal! I canβt say enough about how fabulous Dr. Darnell has treated me and my family...Iβm truly grateful. And Brianna at the front desk was amazing and so helpful when my insurance wasnβt pulling up proper information...she wasnβt frustrated or impatient...just friendly and helpful. Really so pleased with our experiences at Sexton and Iβd say we have a new optometrist...weβre keeping Dr. Darnell!!

I was recommended to them by a friend. I wont be back and wanted to leave as soon as I spoke to the front desk. The two girls were rude, cold and unfriendly. I tried to keep an open mind that it would get better as I worked with other professionals. I was wrong! One of the two ladies took me back she was dressed as she just got done working out at the gym. She was not only unprofessionally dressed, she was rude, acted like I was an inconvenience. I explained to the doctor my experience that I didnt feel welcomed from the beginning, he didnt seem to care that I wasnt happy with the services. I wont be back,took my prescription to another place to have my lenses replaced.
Everyone has been more than excellent. All the staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The doctor has been excellent. Ive had so much trouble with my contact lens fitting and have been in several times but she has been very understanding and patient until we worked it out. Im very grateful for such a terrific doctor.

I dont feel this exam was at all helpful. I felt like nothing more than a money source and I truly question the results of the exam. I am going to have another doctor look at my eyes and I will not be using this clinic or lens crafters in the future
The group here is absolutely fantastic!! I was literally packing for a two week trip that I took off for the next day when I realized I was completely out of contacts. I called eyeglass world first, but I was told the soonest I could get them would be in up to two weeks. When I called the LensCrafters here on Division I was met with a wonderful staff who not only helped me in my time of need, but did so with a smile and in a professional manner. They squeezed me in on that Saturday (Saturdayβs are usually completely filled up) and literally gave me all of the trial packs of contacts in my prescription that they had in stock. Dr. Darnell even opened the boxes and repackaged them for me so that they could fit in my suitcase better. I am so appreciative and pleased with my visit. Thank you so much!!

Went in for an update on my prescription, wanted to try on contacts and get new frames/lenses. It was an early appointment and they let me come in even though I was early.Kayla at the front desk and super helpful, and the assisting eye nurse? I forgot her name but she was awesome as well.The eye doctor was very helpful and I felt well taken care of.Also the glasses assistant who helped me pick out new frames was awesome, and I cant wait to get my pair of glasses.
I felt incredibly uncomfortable with the lack of safety precautions at this location. The dr was wearing a one layer face buff which kept slipping down and no face shield. There was also a fan blowing in an enclosed space which is incredibly irresponsible in my opinion given Covid safety guidelines. I was also told I could pull my mask down if it was interfering with the eye exam. I also never saw the employees use hand sanitizer or wash their hands despite using the same shared supplies and equipment. I will not be returning to this location since I felt my health and safety wasnβt taken seriously.

Using Covid as an excuse for digital analysis instead of dilation, Secton attempts to circumvent your zero copay by charging you $39 for an unnecessary exam. With Sexton, there is no such thing as a zero copay. Beware and stay away!

This was the best eye exam experience I have ever had! The staff was all super helpful and made me feel super comfortable since I am weird about people being near my eyes. There was this super wonderful girl up at the front desk I believe her name was Kayla. She was super accommodating and had the most bubbly personality! I will most definitely be back!

EDIT: Sexton Vision Group was very quick to own up to to the billing error and to correct. Would recommend.I explicitly asked if my insurance would cover my appointment and even provided it up front, and I was told that my insurance would cover my appointments. Nothing special happened- I had an exam and a contact fitting, just like they we expecting. Two months later I received a bill in the mail for both appointments- $350 in total. Was told my insurance was not covered. I understand mistakes happen, but this is causing undo stress. Im hoping this can be resolved and my opinion of this business can change.

I happened to see a doctor who is a specialist in the field I have an issue with. I wont go into detail, but will say that for the first time in 13 years it is very nice to see a doctor that knows something about what I have been dealing with.The only thing keeping a 5 star rating is that temporary contacts needed to be ordered.
Took both my husband and I early upon our arrival for appointments! Thorough/expert exams and answered questions with easily understood explanations. Fast and very friendly staff and found my insurance even though I had no vision insurance cards.Would definitely recommend this vision group for your vision needs

The eye doctors at Sexton Vision Group are the best. I was super freaked out to get my eyes puffed but so excited to learn that they due to the tech they use you dont have to get your eyes puffed. The girls at the front desk are all so nice and it wasnt something that I was expecting. Ill be back every year for sure.
Great experience with Dr. Kyle Crance and support staff. Hadnt had my eyes checked for 3 years. The testing equipment is first rate, meaning no eye dilating or air puffs to test eye health. They took great efficient and courteous care of me. I was in and out in no time.

Complete waste of money! They tell you one cost then send you a bill for more.They changed my contacts from the style I had been in for 10 years (without telling me they were going to change my contacts) and I have had nothing but problems the new contacts were fine at first but then they caused my eyes to hurt and gave me headaches. Later the doctor said oh you old ones are to small and that is why later he retracted that and said my old ones were actually fine. Then they put me in a different brand of contacts and those caused my eyes to hurt after a few day (just long enough that I had to order and start using them) costing me 100$ or so.So now I am back in my old contacts which fit and feel great!! And a month after all this mess I received a bill for more money!!Complete joke of a company! Do not go here!
Dr Darnell was amazing! Finally an Optometrist that listens! I kept complaining that my new glasses were worse than seeing without them. LensCrafters had remade my glasses twice already! She said the cause was a cataract and advised that I have it removed before remaking the glasses for a 3rd time. I had been told by the prior O.D. that I had a cataract but it was never mentioned that it would be causing my problem. I had my follow up vision check after surgery and can see 20/20 on distance. I only need reading glasses and best of all I no longer need bifocals! Wish the first O.D. would have listened instead assuming she knew better. It would have also saved LensCrafter the expense of remaking them twice!
Great experience. Fast, friendly - the doc was even a bit of a comedienne. Loved this place and will go back next time I need to have my eyes examined.

I loved that I was able to book my appointment online, but was disappointed by the level of service the office staff provided once we arrived. There was nothing private or professional about our check-in. The receptionist was unfamiliar with our insurance and seemed to question whether or not our visit would be covered. No one had bothered to call on eligibility prior to our appointment (this info had been given the day prior), and this call was put on speaker phone where the receptionist proceeded to ask for information of me from across the waiting/reception area. Our visit with the doctor was much better, and we thoroughly enjoyed her professionalism. Sadly, we will take our business elsewhere. Might I suggest your patient interaction and calls be done more privately, and perhaps written paperwork would help alleviate the hassle of patients having to give their information multiple times, and verbally for all to hear.

My daughter had her new glasses in 20 minutes. We love both Sexton Vision & Lens Crafters. It is so convenient.
