Flow Hyundais service department is wonderful! We have taken our 2014 Hyundai Sonata there on two separate occasions and both times have got top notch customer service! Matt and the service department are so knowledgeable about anything going on with your vehicle. They are also so nice and cordial! Definitely a 5 star dealership with a 5 star service team!
I had a great experience buying a car at Flow. The staff was very nice especially my salesman Dylan Wilcox. They were able to help me find and get a more than fair deal on the car with exactly what I wanted. They then worked hard to find one from another dealership and went all the way to Myrtle beach to find the right car for me. This was outstanding customer service and a great environment. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.
We just bought a new Santa Cruz from this dealership. Overall experience is depressing… No one even offered a water to us when we arrived. Also they got our address wrong in the document and refused to correct it (“This is fine and won’t affect anything” they said, I suppose we will see). Then, once we were done with the paperwork they just gave us the keys and told “car is in the parking lot”. Nothing like “congratulations” or “here are the cool features of this vehicle”… Besides we had to pay 1000$ more than the asking price/MSRP, because of the “high demand” on this trim…And beware: 45000$ “Limited” Hyundai doesn’t even have floor mats in it and you will have to pay 200$ to get them. But it does have a 400$ cargo net and first aid kit which they cannot remove from the price because “it’s on the sticker”. Lastly while I was making a down payment the manager won’t stop eating pizza….Overall I don’t recommend this dealership to anyone, better go somewhere else.
Previously, I rated this dealership very high... it exceeded my expectations at the time, however, now 5 months later Im submitting this 1 star rating and would rate no stars if I could. Apparently, the paperwork for my trade in was not signed correctly and they are still sending me out documents that need to be signed and mailed back. Once I send back the completed documents they have to resend for some reason or another. This is because of their lack of communication and overall lack of organization on their end. I do not appreciate the call I received today stating that the GM Richard Berryhill has tried to reach me repeatedly, when he in fact has not. The outright ugliness of this call, as if I have failed to do my part is unacceptable. I would not recommend this dealership because of the lack of them taking ownership for their mistakes and for Richard, blaming the customer for his mistake. If you manage an establishment then you should in fact make sure that you are timely, consistent and not lying about your customers. I will be making a formal complaint about the leadership managing this dealership.
I did not purchase a new Hyundai from flow but I have had my 2017 serviced here. Very organized, friendly and professional. I plan on swapping out my 17 in 22 and this is definitely my first stop when I do.
My wife and I have never had a car purchasing experience like our recent one at Flow. It was so laid back and organized that we were out the door in our new Elantra in about 2 hours, including the test drive. Everyone was super friendly and it was completely free of intimidation or pressure selling. Dylan Wilcox was our salesman and he was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and made sure that our questions were answered and that everything was done correctly. I HIGHLY recommend Flow Hyundai, even if you have to drive a bit to get there.

While the service on my car is very good and the inside of the dealership is very nice, I do have an issue with being asked to sit outside on a wall because I can’t wear a mask. I do understand that the dealership has the right to ask me not to remain inside but what I was offered was in my opinion not good customer service. Also mind you I bought my car during peak of Covid and they had no problem with me being inside with no mask when they wanted my money.

My wife and I were in the market for a 2021 Palisade, and to be honest Flow was not even on our RADAR, but after being lied to at Lake Norman Hyundai and ignored at Modern Hyundai we gave flow a shot. Upon walking onto the dealership we knew this was a different kind of dealership. We were greeted and asked how they could help, when we informed them we were gathering information on the Palisade, they pointed them out to us and said if we had any questions to let them know.This was the first and only dealership that did not stalk us the entire time and let us look and gather information on our own. We asked for some particulars on one model and they explained them and asked if we wanted to test drive it. Again, unlike the other dealerships they let us test drive ourselves and did not tag along.Upon returning they asked if we had any questions and would we like to work some numbers. We told them we were not buying that day, which was fine by them. The were absolutely genuine and zero pressure. We went back and forth and we feel our trade in was fairly appraised and we got a great deal from them. In fact, our trade in was valued higher than other dealerships had appraised it and they gave us a great discount to boot. Lake Norman Hyundai had told us for the same car we would have to pay them minimum $2,000 OVER sticker.The next day after sleeping on it we went to Flow and did the paperwork to purchase a 2021 Palisade Limited. Flow has made a customer for life!

Matthew and Sean are great service advisors, they dont try to BS you on when repairs need to be made. Theyll provide a loaner car if something happens that requires extended work.When I picked up my 16 year old vehicle, the outside was cleaned well enough that it could be put on a used car lot despite its imperfections. Im very pleased with the service Ive received.

Told me one price on the phone for service and a much higher price when I arrived. After an unpleasant exchange they backed off some but not totally. Later tried to charge me more for a service than quoted again. Service was overly expensive compared to other mechanic shops. It took 3 days to do the service that should have taken 1-2 max.
Dealing with Brett and his team at Flow Hyundai was seamless. They worked out a deal without all the run around that we had experienced at Lake Norman Hyundai and in less than 24 hours we signed papers on a 2020 Sonata. I highly recommend working with them on your next purchase.

I purchased a pre-owned 2017 KIA Sorento from Tyler at this location back at the beginning of the year. He was great to work with, very knowledgably and patient since it had been 20 years since I bought a newer vehicle.
Dont buy a Hyundai. Mine only has 60,000 miles and its already costing me an arm and a leg to keep it on the road. Even though my warranty is for 100,000 miles, every month when my check engine light comes on, its an issue not covered by the warranty. Also, if they believed in their own product, they wouldnt charge you $90 just to check.

They were not overbearing but treated us with respect and we felt like valued customers. If you are in the market for a new vehicle, this is the place to be. Started my search 2 weeks ago with Lake Norman Hyundai. After a week of phone tag, (they were always busy or away from their desk) I finally was fed up. Contacted Flow, and was immediately reconnected with the General Manager, who started right away on my trade. Got a call back within the evening, and before lunch the next day was given an out of this world deal that I couldn’t turn down. Flow gave me a substantial amount more for my trade than what Lake Norman was offering, and calculated my payments where I had requested. Signed the papers on Monday, and within an hour I was trained on the new technologies Hyundai was offering in my new ride, and drove off the lot. Was contacted today to make sure I was still loving my car, and I most definitely do! Go see Charlie and Brett at Flow Hyundai of Statesville. You won’t be let down!

Fiancé bought a used BMW X3 from here. Tyler was her salesman. The vehicle came with one key, with the remote being a part of the key. He told her the remote part was dead because it hadn’t been driven and it would charge in the ignition with inductive charging on the way home. 10 hours of driving later, it hadn’t. Both she and I made contact to get the key issue resolved, since it was the only one. Tyler said to have me take it to Advance Auto. After they tried, almost busting the key apart, they told me they couldn’t do it. A quick YouTube video showed me that the Service Dept had to do it because the battery is spot welded in. Or I could try it and cross my fingers I was a natural. She and I both contacted Tyler at various points and were then told to have the Service Dept do it. A quick call to the Service Dept had me told that they couldn’t do it, and I was forwarded to FLOW BMW, where they quoted me $275 for a replacement key instead. Again, we informed Tyler that his info was incorrect. After a day or two he said to tell FLOW BMW to bill it to FLOW Hyundai of Statesville. So, again, we call FLOW BMW, where we are told that Tyler has to have a work order sent there, and normal people off the street can’t request bills to be sent anywhere. Which, by the way, this is common sense. Fiancé contacts Tyler about a week ago to straighten, and has yet to receive any response at all.She bought this car over a month ago, and has spent the entirety of ownership making contact with various FLOW entities to have an item fixed, when she was explicitly told when buying the vehicle, that it wasn’t a problem. Now they’re ignoring communication.Also, she was told when signing papers that the only difference between paperwork and vehicle would be the mileage, since he’d driven the car to get gas after printing apparently. No big deal, until we go to drive it home and there’s a 300 mile difference on the Odometer. Maybe they had to drive it to Atlanta to get gas and tow it back due to company policy. It wouldn’t make sense, but neither does ignoring customers.

I brought my 2018 Hyundai in for 60000 mile service; was treatly very friendly and professionally, and the staff answered all my questions. My service was going to take longer than expected (due to items that needed to be addressed, and they informed me so I could choose to wait or return later in the day. Showroom/waiting area is very clean, and appropriate Covid measures being taken. I would definitely return here, due to reasonable costs, friendly personnel and convenience.
Cannot thank Richard Berryhill and Brian (service technician) enough for their exceptional customer service and expertise when it came to some service/repair work on my wifes vehicle. Richard and his sales staff are all extremely welcoming and friendly. They offer great deals on the entire Hyundai line up. Furthermore, as in this recent case, my wifes car needed some work done, and Richard again, connected me with one of his service technicians, Brian. Brian was friendly, honest and extremely knowledgeable about the best fix for our car. Long story short, my wife and I bought a Mazda CX-5 prior to being introduced to Richard. It is only a couple years old, but needed some repairs after a botched brake job (performed by someone else). I took it to Richard for a second opinion b/c our local Mazda dealership quoted us $1,100 in repairs and replacement parts. Brian was able to diagnose the REAL problem as being with the computer and not the actually parts, saving us hundreds in replacement part costs. Brian was able to reset some things and we were on our way! I will always trust these folks with my current vehicles and I will not hesitate to contact Richard in the future when we are ready to upgrade and join the Hyundai family! Thanks so much guys!

Once we walked out the door no calls were returned. when I tried to track down the car title for the car I purchased from them I was told pretty much that it wasn’t their problem it was mine. I paid for the car in full on April 7, 2020 and as of today 7/1/2020 still no title. I traded a car in and Signed the title right over to them but for me to get my title I have to find it myself. The worst part about it I was told twice by Geri at flows office and once by the Sales manager Josh that they would find out about it and give me a call back, never got any of the 3 calls promised. So once you drive the car off the lot at Flow Hyundai the great customer service goes out the door. Again, yes I’m upset that my title has still not arrived and so I can’t sell the car for a pick up I want to buy. But worse then that is the lack of caring to return a customers call. Sorry flow Hyundai I won’t be buying another car or truck from you.

Got a call that my car that I had towed in was not salvageable, then another call within 30 mins that there was a vehicle available in my price range! I was having an odd noise coming from my engine bay last month so I thought Id give this new dealership a try. It took ten minutes to even be greeted and once I was I feel like I wasnt being taken seriously. Shawn didnt seem very interested in listening to my issue and instead went to get a mechanic to ride along with me. During the ride the guy was very short and rude and was talking down to me saying he couldnt hear anything. So I left embarrassed and with my solution to my problem. I took it to another local Hyundai dealership and guess what?! I had a bad engine bearing and they replaced it for me for free under warranty. Its a shame I had to travel out of town to get me service done, and I will be sure to let everyone know of how poor my experience was.
After my daily driver needed to be replaced, I started my car search here at Flow Hyundai of Statesville.Test drove several vehicles there and also at several other dealerships. The dealership does not have a locale phone number to schedule appointments. Calling the 1-800 Hyundai number is a waste of time as they do not answer. As a customer, how am I to schedule service? Why would anyone want to do business with a company that doesn’t have a way to contact the company locally?
