I went in for brakes for my truck. I got the best rotors and pads. Excellent price point. The owner inspected the vehicle and found the trans lines were leaking. The truck is a 2016. He ordered them for me that day. I made sure to get in asap. He called once the parts showed up. That saved my transmission from burning up. I cant thank him enough for that. They used my after market warranty without out any issue. Excellent service, price,and honest Im definitely going back. If youre in the area I recommend them.

Told the guy in the phone had a gmc with a duramax. He said tow it in. Then i tow it there . He calls and says cant do a manifold on a diesel and wont let the tow guy drop it off. Coat me 450 to tow it back to my house. Then somewhere else. Either learn engines better or english. Not sure which. Wow. Dont go here!!!!!!

I normally dont write reviews but the excellent service I received from Brian and his team at Mr. Muffler warrants a five star review.  They definitely care about providing the best service to their customers.  Long story short the exhaust system on my Chevy Malibu was destroyed by the horrific Michigan winters. Brian and his team performed a complete rework for an amazing price.  My car runs and sounds better than the first time I had my exhaust upgraded.  If you need your car repaired I highly recommend Mr. Muffler in Sterling Heights.

Everything about the inspection and quote was very professional. I will not be back though as asking personal questions was out of line. Some people have legal and personal reasons not to give your busines personal details. And safety reasons to not tell you details about themselves. I also do not feel comfortable with a employee being able to see my debit card information without my permission. That leaves me feeling a that my information is not secure there. Thank you though!

Greetings. I wish I could give 4.5 stars. I really like the people at this location. They are quick and efficient as well as courteous and professional. They even directed a customer to another location and helped him make an appointment to facilitate repairs closer to where he lived. I love the clean interior and bathroom, and free coffee. So, why 4 stars? The coffee pot is the old style, which means it sits all day until it is emptied. The location is a storefront which means that the waiting room can only seat 5 people comfortably, although in the summer there are nice benches outside the door (clean and painted red :) and the products they use are sometimes pricier, but they are always great quality. If I could give a 4.5 I would, because they have helped me fix my 10 year old car on several occasions and I will continue to return to them. They beat Belle Tires prices, the dealerships prices, and were willing to work on my car same day when 3 other companies told me I had to wait up to a week for an appointment. They are life savers and great mechanics. Thank you Brian. You guys rock!😊

Man I wasn’t expecting my car to sound that beautiful this for sure the best muffler shop

A few months ago I came in to get my (brand new) bolt-on flowmaster put onto my truck. Called for pricing the previous call and was told to talk to the manager when I came in. Naively, I came in and had them swap the factory muffler with the flowmaster and forgot to ask about pricing. I assumed maybe $50 since it was a matter of unbolting TWO clamps and 3 rubber holders. No cutting or wielding of the pipes. I was then told it would be $200! That was almost the price of the muffler itself. I was then told he could go down to $150 and no more. I was %100 taken advantage of. After calling around, I found multiple shops in the area would have measured, cut, and fit straight pipes with their own piping for $80-120 and fitted my muffler for $50-60. I decided to Mr.Muffler based on their positive reviews and was blatantly taken advantage of. I usually dont ask for prices because all the repairs and servicing ive had in the past were very reasonably priced so being ripped off wasnt in my thought process.

A week ago I checked the car and they told me to fix muffler and timing chain ( more 4000$) and i going other servise and i fix just muffler

Mr. Muffler is always the best, they give honest advice and have saved me a ton of money and misery through the years.

I stopped in just before 5 PM, and right before a holiday weekend. They were very gracious and accommodating to me – A new customer - and gave me a free inspection… And then were honest enough to tell me that nothing actually needed to be fixed. The mechanic even came out and explain the evaluation for me personally. As you can imagine, I was happy about the entire experience!

I went in to get my muffler looked at . And they found a hole, so they fixed it in about 30 minutes. They checked on some other things and took pictures for me, at no extra charge. They know there stuff and did a fast and great job. Definitely recommend this place they do a lot, just not mufflers. Thanks guys.

After being told by a tire dealer that my wheels were prematurely worn due to a possible alignment issue, I took it to Mr. Muffler in Sterling Heights. The good folks there came out after 15 minutes and told me that they were already perfectly aligned. I know this isnt actual service on the vehicle, but their honestly and forthrightness is as much a service as anything else. I recommend these gentlemen highly.

Weve been through a warranty issue and emergency repairs and weve always been happy with the way this shop handles each issue. My most recent repair originally had a pretty pricey quote due to damaged parts. However, the mechanic determined he could repair some of the damage which meant less parts had to be replaced. It literally made my bill HALF of the original quote. I was so relieved and thankful for their willingness to help me out every way they could. And my car runs so smooth now! After sliding into a snow bank yesterday, I experienced some vibration on the front wheels of my Jeep when I reached about 60 mph. So I took my vehicle to Mr. Muffler for a front end alignment check. Turns out the vibration was caused by some impacted snow/ice in my wheel, and the wheel alignment was just fine. No front end alignment needed. I really appreciate Mr. Mufflers honesty and not performing a service that wasnt actually needed. My husband and I have been servicing our vehicles at Mr. Muffler for several years and were very satisfied. Theyre very honest and trustworthy. And a hat tip to Brian as well ... hes great to work with and very helpful.

Went to this store to get an alignment. They offered a free inspection before proceeding to perform the service. While waiting, was able to enjoy free coffee and appreciated hearing the manager’s interactions with other customers. He was honest in his assessments, gave no pressure to customers to make a decision right then and there. While I was not able to go forward with the alignment, it was a very positive experience.

Went in to upgrade the stock muffler on my 2006 Silverado and was very pleased with the work that was done. Brian and the whole staff were very pleasant to be around, and I highly recommend this location for any automotive work you need done!

I have had 2 of my cars exhausts worked on here and they do very good work at fair prices! I have taken cars other places for cheaper, however the quality of work is not as good as it is here. You definitely get what you pay for.

I had a great experience at the Sterling Heights Mr. Muffler. Brian was the manager on duty, and he was friendly, honest, and extremely helpful. They had taken pictures of all of my car parts (which Ive never seen any company do before, I usually just have to take their word for it) and showed me exactly what needed to be fixed. I needed a tune up for my cars chugging and had a crack in my exhaust pipe which caused my car to be super loud. My car is perfect and I will have any future auto work done here without hesitation

I didnt have the skills or tools needed to weld some parts on my exhaust, so I had the associate, Brian, give me a quote. He was a really nice guy and made me feel really welcomed there. Their prices were very reasonable, and Brian kept me up to speed on what was going on with my vehicle. These guys are definitely knowledgeable on more than just muffler parts, I overheard a customer and a mechanic talking about a transmission and what options the customer had, which included diagnosis and possibly replacement of the transmission. If anyone I know or even myself have exhaust problems, Ill definitely make sure they get another customer

This place has always been very fair and especially honest. I went in today with 48,000 miles on my original GM brake pads having heard a soft rubbing sound when I applied the brakes. I fully expected to be replacing the pads at a minimum and told them so. I left and awaited their call on what they found.I was surprised to get the call they are fine. They easily could have replaced them and I would have been none the wiser. But this is typical for them. Over many years they have earned my continued trust.

Brought in my 2012 escape for exhaust repair. My exhaust pipe had broken off from the resonator after service received from a car dealership. I was promptly greeted at the door. The staff here was very friendly. Very informative. They gave me estimates of what they could do. The price was great, they repaired it in 30 min. Id recommend this place to everyone for service/repairs. These guys are honest and professional. We will definitely be going back. Quick service to have my exhaust system repaired. Nice to have a very talkative and polite front desk guy. I was fixed and done in no time. Felt bad because a douche bag came in saying his stuff was rushed and the front desk guy handled him with such respect. Unreal. Referred to this place by discount tires after getting four new wheels this morning. Called this place out of the blue and out of desperation because their website said they were 4x4 experts.So, went there with what I believed to be some sort of a vacuum problem with the 4x4 on our 2011 F150.We had this problem already fixed by Suburban Ford a year ago and their warranty was expired by days and about 100 miles.So we take the truck there, within 2 hours I got a call from them. They found the problem and already fixed it. It was a $93 expense out the door to have it fixed. From other places we had shopped around at, we thought we were looking somewhere around $1000.Thanks to these guys though, all was made right for far less.Thanks guys for your expertise, professionalism and honesty!!!You guys have become our new mechanics for sure!!!!I would highly recommend them over anyone else.!!!!

We had a great experience with Brian at Mr. Muffler. I had taken my daughters vehicle in for a new muffler to another shop and they quoted me almost $600 to replace the muffler, tail pipe and resonator. I called Brian and he did the same repair for $150 less. I would highly recommend them. They are honest and great to work with. I will definitely use them again.

This location is honest and reliable. The personnel are quick on the turn-around-time for repairing your car. Brian is trustworthy and professional. I know when he is telling me what’s going on with my car I can take it to the bank. I have even recommended this shop to my supervisor.

They helped me out with getting my Cherry Bomb on my exhaust. I came in with $125 and they said it would’ve been $150 but they cut $25 for me if I gave them a good review. I’m not doing this because they told me to, but they did a real good job, very clean and professional welds. When I redo my entire exhaust, I’m gonna be going though them, that’s for sure!

Earlier this week I had gone to Mr Muffler in Sterling Heights, MI. I spoke with Brian who is the manager and one of his employees. I have been going to Mr. Muffler in Sterling Heights, just north of Metro Parkway on Vandyke for several years for oil changes. They are polite and do a professional job. Had brakes done once. Still driving the car and the brakes work fine. No problems.

The pipe on my muffler snapped in half and I came in 45 mins or so before they were closing and they took a look at my car free of charge and patched up the pipe for me for a decent price. They even stayed later than 6pm to help me with this. I greatly appreciate their time and effort and I recommend!Thank you guys’

THIS IS WHY I WAIT TO RATE... GOOD SERVICE, BAD WARRANTIES Needed a new exhaust on my Saturn took to Mr. Muffler things when well included a nice price of $1,150. Not even a year goes my flex pipe that leads to my headers had a leak in it, making my car loud. I took it back to Mr. Muffler and they told me they didnt replace that part and its not covered under warranty. Which I was under the impression that I had a complete new exhaust nope. They wanted additional $200 which I thought was absurd . In the beginning aIl I wanted was a new exhaust to begin with and now my exhaust is leaking again just in time for spring.

Honest & do good work. Wont stick you with a crazy bill- theyll let you know and see the work that needs to be done before they start. I always appreciate these guys.

They did a full vehicle inspection for free, it was very in depth and well done. They were very helpful and extremely honest. I live pretty far away from them and I will absolutely dive all the way to get work done with them. They were great.

Had an appointment scheduled and my car was taken into the bay on time, needed a cracked exhaust welded with a sleeve + hanger and was finished in less than an hour. Quality of work seemed to be good and the price was reasonable (+ they have a $25 off $150 for labor coupon on their site). Would not mind going back if I needed a repair I couldnt do in my own garage.

I had an issue with my car and was nervous to get it looked at because as a 21 year old woman who has no clue about cars, I always get warned about auto shop scams where they make up repairs for more money. My parents recommended I go to Mr. Muffler as they said theyve always gotten great service and prices. So I went and it turned out that my brake problem was actually a super simple & quick fix that was done free of charge. They really are an honest company with morals. After bringing the muffler in and explaining my issue to Brian he took the muffler into his shop and opened the inlet for me. No Charge! The muffler then slipped right on for me.
