I was pleased that after contacting them they invited me to bring the car in the next morning. They took the car right away and were very courteous and professional. The facility had a great customer area and I was very comfortable. The vehicle was ready in just two hours, faster than I had expected. I was given a complete description on what was found with the vehicle and what was performed and the cost was very reasonable. They are really best in class and I highly recommend them for their services.

Beware...Very good in scamming customers. I took my vehicle for a rear camera issue. The guy charged $125 for 1 hour diagnostics . Never told me about the diagnostic charge. The sad thing he didn’t fix the issue and i lost $125.

I went and got an oil change like I always do and turned in a coupon. However I am always charged a different amount. When I reached out to them, they called me a cheap oil change customer and to not come back. Instead of making it right with me, they insulted me and explained that the reason it is a different price was the fluctuating oil prices. You arent a valuable customer unless you spend more money than just an oil change. I have text messages to prove how rude they are. Will never come back and will share my horrible experience with everyone I meet. I do not recommend. Their representative on social media challenged me to find a cheaper oil change place, and that I wouldnt. They charged me 29 dollars. I can find plenty of other places for that price. Lol.

I went to sterling car care expecting a fair and honest price for the work they were providing.Unfortunately i am very disappointed with my experience. I confirmed the work that would be done around approximately 1:30 p.m. and received a text message with a pick up time at 4:00 p.m. the same day. When I picked my vehicle up from sterling car care, I went to the office to pay and looked over the receipt and I felt I was very unfairly priced for the work that was completed. I was charged $1156.07 for one ball joint, 4 sway bar links, and one caliper . They charged a ridiculous amount of money for labor and it cost me my whole two week pay check for $250 worth of parts. When I drove home I realized my truck is still squealing and pulling to the right and not much was done to make a difference. So from my experience I will not be returning to sterling car care.

The staff was professional answered all my questions and returned my calls in a timely manner. They were honest in telling me that they would not be able to get to my vehicle right away and still got it back to me when they said that they would.

I had a tire with a slow leak. I pulled into the shop just a few minutes before they closed up for the day, not realizing what time it was. They took me in, quickly fixed the tire, and sent me on my way for a fair price. I have used their services a few times before and always come away satisfied with their work. Its a much better experience than going to an overpriced dealership, and they seem considerably more professional than most independent shops. I trust them with my vehicle.Update: 20-APR-2018. I cant say enough good things about these folks. Today we noticed the A/C not working on our minivan. I called them up, they sent somebody over to pick up the van, they diagnosed and fixed it, then brought it back to me after I paid with my credit card over the phone. It doesnt get any more painless than that! They saved me hours of screwing around, and I was able to work while everything was taken care of for me. A+ for service and convenience. Thanks, guys!

Sterling Car Care is what you would expect from a repair shop. What I did not expect was the reclining Lazy Boy chairs. This made the wait seem like nothing I was more afraid I was going to fall a sleep. They have big screen TV which made it twice as nice.

They can’t find issues and then don’t actually put in any work to figure it out. I paid a service charge for nothing. Won’t be going back here anymore.

With younger adults in the house, I own 4 cars. So, Sterling Car Care has been a real find. I have consistently come here on a multitude of occasions over the last couple of years now (I dont go anywhere else). They are professional and reliable like a dealership, while being more technically flexible and more reasonably priced than a dealership. Most of all, unlike a dealership that only wants to do light jobs on Saturdays, these folks hit it hard on Saturdays. Im a busy person, so being able to count on Saturday service has been huge. Their generous week day hours 7AM to 7PM are also very helpful. I generally come in, meet Sean or Eric at the counter, and sit comfortably in the lobby while logging into work on my laptop - never missing a beat! On bigger jobs, theyve hooked me up with a rental which was nice.

I go in and get the same oil change every few months with a coupon and it ends up being a different price every time. There is no point of coupons if youre going to have arbitrary pricing. Never coming in or recommending you again. Mike was very rude after he reached out to me and called me a cheap oil change customer. I guess I dont matter if Im not spending enough money there. I will never recommend them again. Save yourself the frustration of being treated like garbage if you have an issue with their pricing.

I live about a half hour from this place and no matter the problem I will drive here to get my car fixed tires changed or anything of that matter.. awesome place. Great customer care. And my job uses a fleet of vehicles and they always use this place...

Did an awesome job fixing my hose when I was racing a motor cycle and a 300S (in Mexico) and my car started spitting white smoke from the hood and blasting coolant everywhere. LOL to much pressure on the old hose I guess LOL new one is longer and looks to have more quality.Forgot to write the review! Redford Auto is my go to place, but this place has great service as well, plus this wasnt that far from Mexico where it happened lolThey fixed my hose and filled up my car with fluids and never had an issue. Sterling Car Care > Troy Auto Care (somethings wrong with this shop logical thinking patterns lol) S/O Sterling Car Care though.

I love all of them at Sterling Car Care in Sterling Heights. As a woman, they NEVER take advantage of my lack of knowledge regarding car repairs. They are always truthful and honest with me! This time around was an expensive repair, but they helped by providing me with a loaner vehicle (which my daughter loved more than our car - haha). Sterling Car Care never disappoints and I recommend them every chance I get!

Kept my car for 4 days and couldnt find anything wrong with it. Had to call more than once to just get an estimate- they kept saying theyd call in 10 min or so and then an hour would go by. Finally got fed up and needed my car so I went to pick it up-- they were going to hit me with a $2000 estimate had I waited for a call back and yet there was nothing wrong. Took it to my usual place and they diagnosed me in 15 min.They were nice and polite but overall I was unimpressed and paid over $100 for them to not find anything and to keep my only mode of transportation for four days. Only when I picked it up did they say they offered rentals. I dont recommend them.

First discovered Sterling Car Care when my automobile broke down in the Sterling Heights area 2 years ago. My car was towed to their shop. I was incredibly satisfied with the service I received there. Never felt pressured, always well informed, never felt as though I was being sold something. Since then, I continue to come in for my regular maintenance and repairs and have always had a great experience -- and even though I am Canadian I have no reservations making the trek across the border from the Windsor area to continue to have my car serviced with them. Well worth the trip for this loyal customer =)

The only auto repair shop I trust!!! It took my daughters 2014 Fusion in for a electrical warning light, and the Transmission working abnormal. This vehicle was diagnosed with a wiring repair behind the Alternator which is causing the warning light and Transmission issue. The repair was done as promised, and honestly repaired properly. Thank you Sterling Car Care for offering such great service!

Would have given them 0 stars. They totally dropped the ball on my air conditioning repair 2ys. In a row! They let me leave the store with my battery light on . They told me no problem and it would be safe for my wife to take. My wife was on m59 and the car shut down almost putting her in a car accident. I had to take it to the New Baltimore shop were Joe took great care of me and made it right. I will never go to the Sterling hts Shop again!!!

This car repair shop is second to none. Top level mechanics and the front desk staff is amazing. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else to be repaired.

All work was done as requested and in a friendly, timely manner. However, as someone who ALWAYS washes the exterior and cleans the interior of his vehicles BEFORE taking them in for service, I noticed (after returning to my residence) some greasy smudges on the top edge of the front drivers-side fender AND scuffs on drivers-side interior door panel and drivers seat. These relatively minor concerns are not typical of Sterling Car Cares normal attention to detail, but I found them irritating enough to mention in this review. Nonetheless, I remain a loyal customer (since the mid-1990s) who will continue to recommend Sterling Car Care to friends and family.

Did routine oil change with inspection. Came home to find out that one of my valve stem covers is missing now. Also did not receive a report on the findings of my inspection which it said would be emailed to me. Got this survey emailed to me but not my report. I remember what Jay said was wrong with my vehicle for the most part, but wish I had the report in writing so I could refer to it just in case I didnt remember.

Worst place Ive ever dealt with when it comes to car care. I drove a running vehicle into their shop for a full all point inspection for the someone who wanted to purchase it.The vehicle checked out and only needed fluid changed. We were asked to keep the vehicle there until the friend was able to pick it up. After 30 days we called and had to wait longer before we could come get the car. Ended up with a $431 dollar bill for differential fluid swap.Upon pick up we were given the keys but the car didnt start so we had to jump it with a tech. Once the car started it started squealing like two racoons fighting under the hood. Ended up with a locked up alternator that they then tried to charge us for at the counter at full price for the repairs that werent needed prior to them handling the truck. I let them know that we had a full point inspection done and everything checked out but fluids and now the car didnt start and was squealing with a locked up alternator.They refuse to do any work and they wouldnt even let me figure out what was going on with the car in the parking lot. I was told that we could work on it but we had to push it onto the main road of 16 mile. I went with a mechanic to the location to get the vehicle and they told us we had a half hour exactly to get it out of their driveway. Ive never been told that everything was taken care of and then had more problems come back then what the car went in to have fixed.Furthermore, Ive never had a shop or any business owner that Ive worked with in my 38 years of life tell me bring it on when it comes their service level and their 100% customer satisfaction. This place is a scam and a shame that they think they can talk to customers the way they did. Ill never go there or recommend the place to anyone unless they want invoices 3-5x the cost of the repair. Let alone going to get your vehicle that was in perfectly fine shape coming back unable to start or hold a charge when they themselves checked the vehicle out as good and full working condition.As far as Im concerned whatever was wrong with the vehicle after they were in possession they should have fixed for free since it was in working order prior to being brought to their facility.Absolute joker and clown of an owner who doesnt respect customers, or, hold workers accountable to ensure 100% customer service as a standard. Feel free to find out for yourself but make sure you bring your check book and have a few thousand for them to extort from you handy.NEVER TAKE A CAR THERE OR TRUST A SINGLE WORD THEY SAY!

Took my car there because my engine stalled and the battery light came on. First time, I had my car towed there and they said there was nothing wrong with it. In there words it was a glitch that my engine stalled. later that day my engine stalled again, so I took it in again and they told me it was the battery and they changed the battery. When I got in the car before I left the parking lot the engine light came on they didnt completely finish the battery job before they gave me the keys, so I had to wait for them to finish that. The next day it happened again, so I took it to a dealership. The dealership said it had no oil, which is why my engine shut off while driving. The idiots here didnt even do the most simplest check which cost me allot of money overall with that car experience. I strongly do not advise anyone to go here.
