Ive always enjoyed going here with ALL my vehicles, usually have no problems. This time the person who wrote up my vehicle, asked me to select what type of oil I wanted, I simply advised I want the same thing thats in there, he advised that some vehicles require more than five quarts of oil and wanted to assure I was aware that Id be responsible for any additional cost, he suggested both these details twice, I didnt respond to the second statement. Ive NEVER required more than what was covered... this time of course, I was billed for two additional quarts and on my sticker he indicated customer selected for the type (weight/ synthetic or not) so when I asked what was put in there, they looked at me like I was crazy, I then stated/ asked... there was an oil change correct, she looked at the paperwork and said yes... keep in mind, my information is in the system, theres usually a consultation with customers who arent aware what type of oil is recommended for their vehicles... geez... customer service should be seamless, I dont require much. I get places are short staff and money is needed some things should just be.
Mechanic complained why I had two lock nuts per tire. To not work on my SUV said their impact wouldnt lossen the nuts to see if I go away, never coming here again.
No one never answered their phone calls.
The lady who works here is ridiculously unprofessional and rude.
I came in for a battery and ended uo getting an oil change and the guys were nice and moved fast.
As said quick reasonable prices only downfall closes by 6pm.

Great service, I purchased two tires and I was informed that it would take 3 hours before my service would be completed. They were done with my vehicle in 90 minutes and the tires looked great. I will recommend this location to anyone that needs to purchase tires, the prices are affordable and they will get you serviced as quickly as possible.

Came here once for an oil change last summer, and the line was long and wasnt moving, so I went somewhere else. Then I decided to try again today, I got helped pretty quickly and was told there was 2 cars ahead of me and it would be a 30-40 minute wait. I have been here for 2hrs now and can still see my car on the lift. However, it doesnt seem to matter since the line of people waiting to get helped is 15 people deep, and after 20 minutes the same guy still hasnt been helped. So, bad experience, never again.
I ordered my tire online and was told it would be ready same day. 6 hours after ordering i go to the store only to be told it would not be ready that day. I need the tire to get to work and the tire was in stock in store in the lobby on the rack. They refused to install or give me the tire until the order processed. I had to go online and refund my money and go to bell tire last minute. Next time i will go to a reputable tire center. Dont go here they are rude and lack common sense. They actually told me if i refund the online order and pay them at the register then they could have my tire installed in less than half hour since the tire was right there. Horrible experience
Disregard the review from 3 years ago and lets focus on todays review. The service was pretty quick and the prices of course unbeatable. The people were very friendly and helpful. They have improved alot
Horrible customer service. Incoming calls take priority over customers in line. Product availability is an issue. I wouldnt have minded paying 5 dollars more for the more expensive oil had the worker had better customer care skills.
Took two hrs to put in a new battery. Got my car 4 hrs later after I called to see why is it not done. However noone ever called to inform me it was done. My mom idea to come here. I dont even shop her. Customer service and 2 hr battery change mechanics are trash.
Dont understand where all the hate is coming from. Sure the staff quality can vary, but they always seem kind and professional. I got 4 douglass tires for my 2004 honda civic for like $200 bucks a year ago and they are still going strong. They also come with lifetime rotations and wheel balancing. I usually get the pit crew oil change for $20 along with the rotations/balancing for free, so it is a deal. Only issue is that it sometimes takes a while depending on the amount of people, but I usually just shop around for an hour or 2 and they are done by then.P.S. you can check out here but they dont have a weighing scale for fruit
I was surprised by the customer service. It took a long time, but I was kept informed. Plus the inexpensive battery was a huge bonus. Thanks Salvatoire and crew.
This here place (Tire Department) is a total joke.I purchased (4) tires from Walmart online on July 17, 2018. These tires was suppose to be available on Wednesday July 18, 2018. But, they didnt get them until July 19, 2018. And Walmart online sent the tires to this store Auto Department for them to put them on my car. On September 5, 2018, one of the tires had a bubble on the inside of the tire and it blewout, within (49) days from date of purchases.I took this tire back to the Auto Department and was told that I didnt buy the store warranty and I had to call the manufacturer of the tire, for a manufacturer warranty. Upon contacting the manufacturer, I was told to re-contact Walmart Auto Department to have them to do the warranty. Walmart Auto Department, said that they still want do it.Well, its the end of March 2019, and still NO new tire as of to date.This is a bunch of B.S.So, Buyer Beware of Walmarts Auto Department, and ALL of their Company Warranties.
Horrible the technician Maurice never wants to work, he takes his time getting your information! On top of that they did not change the light right, had to go back in and check the light and they changed the wrong one, this place u have to check to make sure they did the oil change because the last time they signed off they did and my car had NO oil! They lied to you about the wait time too..they will tell u a longer than it really is! Will NEVER go back, tried to give them a second chance but NEVER again! I forgot to mention the first time I took my car here I found out today they used the wrong oil! Which would explain a lot things!😡
The absolute worst customer service EVER! We waited over 20 minutes for someone to help us. The man helping my mom woth questions about tires was so unprofessional and rude. I will absolutely go out of my way to a different service center. I have never been treated so TERRIBLE

I show up and wait my turn for them to finish taking care of a customer, 10 mins in another guy shows up and places a battery on the counter, the employee finishes 5 mins later and leaves for another 5 mins, then comes back and tells me that the guy with the battery who was gone for about 10-15 mins looking for a battery to buy was there first and that he was just gone cause he was looking for a battery to buy pathetic even for Walmarts standards
This place is terrible. Always hours spent waiting to talk to someone at the counter. Everyone is inexperienced. They leave grease all over the interior of your vehicle. No sense of urgency. Worst service I have received from anyone anywhere..... ever. If I could give negative stars I would
4:30p....shop doesnt close until 7p. Walked in for an oil change and told ...we dont have no certified technicians right now....apparently they only had one who left for the day....the remaining ONE wasnt certified....wth does major chain like Walmart not have enough certified techs on staff! Big waste of my time driving over here

A 4 hour wait to do an oil change 2 days in a row is unacceptable... Id rather pay more money than deal with that.
It is not a speedy process, but they are always cheerful and their oil change is a good value. And they dont try to sell you things you dont need.

The Tire and Lube department is a joke and the mechanics are definitely useless. What a waste of time spent trying to get real work done on my vehicle by these fools.

Want to save money on Tire Service? BAD IDEA. Im very disappointed in the service i received at the Walmart Tire department. This was at the Walmart Supercenter in Sterling Heights, store #2559. I bought a the Tire Rotation / Balance package on 08/27/2013. As I left I thought the car was poorly balanced, pulling to the right as I drove down the street. I didn’t have time to turn right around and come back (I was already at the store for over an hour). I came back today (9/3) and spoke with the manager Breyen. 1. He was rude. 2. He refused to rebalance the tires (apparently “lifetime” doesn’t even last a week!) 3. He went outside, looked at the tire treads and mocked the fact I was even there, “Shoot, what you tryin to pull on me, man?” after it was HE who told me to come down. He was unwilling to help me / even look at the balancing, and told me to go to a local tire store, and if they found any problems I should come back and “let me know.” I’m very disappointed and I will never use your service again, because I feel like it is a lie and a scam. “life time” doesn’t last even a WEEK?!
I WENT YESTERDAY TO TRANSFER 2 TIRES THAT I BOUGHT BRAND NEW FROM 2 MONTHS AGO TO A VAN THAT I BOUGHT NOW YESTERDAY THEY SET THERE WAS NO TIME WHICH WAS TRUE I KIND WENT LATE SO I ASK WHAT TIME CAN COME THE NEXT MORNING THEY TOLD ME ROUND 8AM SO I JUST WENT THIS MORNING AT 8 AM THERE WERE 2 PEOPLE THERE A LADY AND I GUESS A MECHANIC FIRST THEY TOLD THEY WILL DO IT THEN THEY STARTED SAYING WE DO NOT DO THIS KIND OF THINGS CANT DO IT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT KIND OF TIRE BUSINESS THEY DO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LET DOWN VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I AM GOING TO DISCOUNT TIRE

Sat there two hours for a tire patch and oil change and heard a squeaking noise from my tire, and my tire was about to fall off, it wasn’t tightened at all
It was bad..guy didnt knew my tired size even do i explain them in 2 languages.Not my favorite place for tires or oil changes but you pay for what you get.
