It’s really peaceful with a minimalist designed environment.I’ve came a couple of times mainly to catch up on schoolwork and get a cup of coffee. This place is such a nice place to study, get coffee, snacks, and relax. It doesn’t really get too rowdy and loud here making it such a nice place to get things done for when you’re looking for a spot/cafe to finish up some work.I feel like the coffee alright but the place itself is just super comfy and clean.
This has to be the perfect coffee shop…..decor is minimalist, slick, inviting. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and I enjoy watching baristas go Thru the ritual of expression making and not using a fully automated machine. The star is the coffee for sure but the back story of the origins of the beans and how the shop started adds an element of cool to the experience.Nice outdoor seating area available a d clear view of the roasting room. This place is a must see for anyone.Only area of improvement would be in the food offering, a little more variety and an option to heat them up would be nice
First visit, bookmarked as my wanted to visit place. Got one Latte with lavender syrup and other with chocolate syrup. Latte with lavender syrup was amazing!! it had a subtle lavender flavor and coffee smelled amazing. The latte with chocolate syrup was just right in terms of flavoring for my husband. Mille Crepe cake was wonderful. It wasnt overly sweet and it matched well with the coffee. it was nice chic place to study and relax and away from the traffic. Definitely coming back to try more types of coffee and desserts again!!
The coffee and tea is always top notch. They make a particularly good flat white! There special coffees created by the employees are always a special treat. The atmosphere is cool without being too hip. Its not cheap, but thats because the quality of what you are getting is high and skill of the baristas is way up there.
My favorite coffee Im the greater Houston area! I love the entire vibe of this place! The only change I would make would be for the food/pastries, as I do think those could be improved.
Very impressed by this coffee shop. I wish it were closer to home but its worth the drive. The shop has a clean white, minimal esthetic but the coffee is full and rich with flavor and aroma. I had an almond milk latte and my partner had a pour over. The espresso in the latte was pulled to perfection and the pour over was very smooth. We were in general impressed with their PourSteady Pour over machine. **oh and their to-go cup lids have aroma holes!? Im sold! Over all, we hope to come back frequently because it was so good. 10/10 recommend
I’ve given this place a fair shake, Ive tried one of everything. Yes, really. Actually two of everything because I pay for my companion. We’ve come here about 200 times because it is the only convenient coffee near us when working nearby. And to be honest it’s just not worth the price/hype/exceeds expectations ratio. But the main thing about their experience is their coach airfare seating. They only built it out for small people. Or a certain demographic of people so to speak. You’ll find more comfort in the limited adjustable range of Spirit Airlines seats than this place. And if u can’t fit in the seats then you either have to take it to-go or sit outside in full sun. Don’t bother bringing a full grown man here or an over weight friend. They’ll feel shamed and uncomfortable. I feel like maybe they lost a partner or owner in this place because it’s just missing something that they had before that they don’t have now. You can just feel it in the vibe.
Ambiance was very sleek and modern. Coffee were made to order and fresh. Definitely on the pricey side for a coffee but well worth it. The wait for the coffee was not too bad but you do have an option to order online. Came in for the first time to do a little studying but the Wi-Fi was not functional but luckily I was able to connect with Xfinity in the interim but would definitely recommend getting that fixed.
Finally found a coffee shop in Houston that serves geisha coffee (~$7-$10 per cup), with beans from selected estates in Panama, Columbia, and Bolivia. Appreciate the paper cup has two holes so can smell its aroma while sipping. Ordered its crepe cake (~$10 a piece). Disappointed that they serve it in a styrofoam box! A sturdy paper plate would be more enjoyable, environmental and presentable than a styrofoam box for a labor-intensive cake. Last but not least, really like its contemporary design and sizeable outdoor seating area. [Note: inside seating remains closed due to covid precautions; outside has plenty of tables/seats.]
My sister and I stopped by a Sunday afternoon to grab coffee from here for the first time. We appreciated the social distancing in place. The coffee was very fresh and each of our drinks was very good. I got the vanilla latte and it was surprisingly not overly sweet. I think the customer service was average, but the employees were polite and easy to talk too.
3 stars because of atmosphere. Coffee and a snack for take out? Great idea. Want to sit there? Not so much. Its not loud. It wasnt over packed. Yet, the environment was far from welcoming. It felt like being in an examination room, bathed in white, from a movie. Its a standalone building and yet, I feel its got a hidden side (like a movie). That being said, the coffee was good. Even the little tiny macaroons were tasty and fun.
I usually end up getting their premium coffee when I come with someone because the premium coffee is really good and you get to try something different but the quantity is also enough for two smal cups and that makes it a great value even at the price it is. I find it worth more then the regular coffee cup, and that coffee too by the way is good. But I highly recommend trying their premium coffee, you will probably like it.
What an awesome place!!! Staff super friendly, helpful and professional, with great recommendations!! The tiny macaroons are pricey but they did explode with flavor. The coffee was divine!!!
Best espresso in grtr htown..not bad vegan muffins too ;)
I am very happy they are enforcing social distancing and face coverings. The coffee was absolutely amazing and the staff was very friendly and willing to give us their recommendations and describe the current offerings. They have unique offerings and sell beans to take home. I was even informed I can order online if something is out of stock that Im interested in. Its a bit of a drive for me, but I will be adding this to my rotation of coffee shops for sure.
Always excited to pop in and have a delicious brewed coffee. Staff is hip, but not intimidatingly hipster. They are really quite kind and seem happy to share extensive coffee knowledge. Quiet atmosphere with a great music selection (is it a private pandora?). Recommended for coffee date and pro meeting alike.
I was excited about the opening of Blend In and enjoyed it for a couple of years. However it seems that the quality of the coffee, food and service has significantly declined over the last year and a half. I have contacted Blend In via their “contact us” link four times now and have never received a reply or noticed any positive changes.
Great shop and coffee served by well trained baristas. It’s always nice to see coffee shops go the extra mile in training baristas unlike the chain green lady coffee shops.
Not my favorite spot. HOWEVER, it was very clean and modern. The products are good, a bit more costly than a typical coffee shop, but you have to factor in the type of modern and higher end coffee shop model. They did have great seating outside. Loved this! They also have tons of natural light inside from the massive windows. This is a plus, and good study spot.Probably not the best spot for someone who likes average coffee or isn’t used to visiting lots of coffee shops. It’s a little too upscale for me in terms of atmosphere, but good products. It’s a 3 for me, but might be 4 or 5 depending on what you like.
Best coffee shop in Sugar land. Interior decor is very aesthetic! Light cubes reminds me of EXO logo lol.Sitting space is open again inside after being closed during quarantine for half a year.
Best coffee!!! Dam Soo good, not bitter, perfectly sweet. I wish we would have found this earlier, no more Starbucks for me!!! 10/10
*Coffee quality and roasting: perhaps the best in town. *Location ambience: top class *Service and customer experience: needs improvement, especially lacking courtesy to offer a cup of coffee for $20.00 bag takeaway purchases of repeat customers.
Quaint lil coffee place in the Sugar Land area. Ive been here multiple times over the past year, always have had a good experience. They have various blends to try. There are some macaroons and other stuff to snack on too. Check this place out if you are nearby, highly recommend!
💖💖💖 This pristine and friendly coffee shop, tucked away in Sugar Land off of Hwy 90. They have really unique high end offerings ($9/cup) to your everyday drip. The baristas arr always happy to help and super knowledgeable. Youncan also buy some high end fresh beans too.
Update: Blendin no longer offers French press; I understand that they are now limited to pour overs. Getting a preview of how their beans would taste at home was a big advantage that I can no longer enjoy. Disappointing..Came in looking for a bean recommendation. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and recommended a terrific coffee. We enjoyed a brewed version, which was delicious and confirmed our choice. The store was busy with customers enjoying coffee and working on devices. With the modern decor, this would be a nice place to spend some chill work time.
An excellent cup of coffee brewed with passion and love. The best thing about this shop is all the little details, including all of the hard work that goes into a perfect cup of coffee. A great space to work or hang out with friends, whether in a cozy booth by the windows, or outside on their patio. Plenty of parking, too!
A little bit out of the beaten path, in the middle of a residential area basically. But this coffee shop is modern, sleek, clean and crisp looking. They have many options of pours, we had the honey latte and their specialty drink. Their honey latte was strong! Their specialty drink was good too. I wish there’s more tables though...
Clean, bright, trendy. The only thing I didnt like is that is was so busy there was really no where to sit. We took a spot at the end of the counter with 2 bar stools. It actually turned out to be a good spot because we got to see the baristas skills. The coffee was great but in an out of the way spot.
Bougie coffee. Great scientists run this place.
What a sweet little coffee and tea shop! I absolutely LOVED the vibe! It was super chill and a wonderful place to just BE. The customer service was on point, the atmosphere couldnt have been better, and the food and drinks were simply delish! If you havent stopped by yet, go as soon as you can. You deserve a little you time, especially in a place as perfect as this!
Great coffee! And a nice atmosphere! I’m waiting for them to expand their menu to incorporate sandwiches and paninis (as an idea)
Cute little coffee spot. Can be a bit pricey. However the staff has always been very friendly. I enjoy the outdoor sitting areas.
The staff there was so nice and let me take up a lot more space than what was fair this morning. Coffee was great, internet was fast, and I really appreciate their accommodation :-)
Love this place! White chocolate mocha is so good. Its not too sweet. Wish they offered bigger cups.
One of my all time favorites in SW Houston. Outdoor and indoor seating options, relaxed atmosphere, artisanal coffee and a great place to meet up with friends and colleagues. The staff is also very friendly. Awesome spot to try out.
Trendy coffee bar (or club I guess) with a wide variety of beans and brewing methods. Whether youre a coffee aficionado or someone exploring what kind of flavors and brew methods you like, Id highly recommend coming to Blendin and checking it out. The space is super nice and a great place for a meet up or for study.
Cute place, but I wish there was more beverage options.
Place looks great, first time being in here and its quite cozy feeling to it. I may move from the regular Starbucks to here, now.
The cortado was served piping hot. It was very light bodied with a almost fruity after taste, but it was also kind of beany and bitter. It wasnt bad, but definitely not my favorite. I wouldnt necessarily come here for the coffee when comparing it to so many other Houston coffee shops, but it is really nice that this one is out in Sugar Land. Also, it has a very nice atmosphere. It actually might be my favorite place in terms of atmosphere. Its very clean, open, and organized. There are nice booths that are more intimate, as well as different areas that are more separated for meeting up with groups. There are a ridiculous amount of outlets which gets a huge thumbs up from me. I would come here to hang out, talk, or work. If the coffee was better it would easily get another star bump.
Hands down the best and most advanced coffee shop on the Houston area....this coffee is art...this coffee is the best expression. A must visit to experience.
Trendy coffee spot with good quality coffee. I enjoyed the informative menu that allows you to choose how you want your coffee brewed. Decor was simple as felt local with large photos of the staff on parts of the wall. There isn’t much seating inside when many people take up space on their laptops though. But alternatively there are seats outside too. Ordered two coffees brewed with the Aeropress. Our coffees came in a paper cut that was a little odd being that we ordered for Here. Would like more seating and better drink presentation, for the price ($3-$4) but I would go back again if in the area.
I was hoping for a better taste experience than Minuti Coffee. If you have a basic understanding of techniques that make a great espresso shot you will be disappointed if you come here. To start they served my hot espresso shot in a paper cup (like Starbucks). This place is not very welcoming and they do not have professional baristas. I had high hopes for this place but doubt I will be returning. Maybe..... theres a different crew during the week that might be more welcoming and knowledgeable. We might have missed the great experience by going on a Sunday or maybe I should have ordered a drink that involves lots of milk.
Love the coffee beans and overall focus on single origin coffee. Awesome place with a couple locations now
Good place to get coffee, i would like to see they put up a small garden with flowers or ponds
The coffee was decent. Not the best I’ve had but the presentation of my latte was at least good. The barista Nick, was not helpful and borderline rude. I was looking to try something new and took a second to look through the teas and despite the fact that we were the only ones in line, he seemed irritated at this minimal delay and didn’t even respond when I asked about the teas. Then, when the internet wasn’t connected after my husband and I planned on getting some work done, we asked for help and were told that both of our different brand tablet computers were the problem and that he couldn’t help, leaving it at that. There are enough other coffee shops in the area that are friendly and welcoming, I wouldn’t waste your time here.
Great, cozy little coffee shop. Wish they had a drive through but it was explained to me that it is because they are a specialty coffee place and drive through windows diminish that feel. But the coffee is definitely amazing!
I used to go to the Sugarland location, where they roast the beans. It was a great experience then and the coffee was nothing less than spectacular. This new location on Allen Pkwy is very well done and the coffee again is one of the best in town.
Great coffee but service is very bland not that friendly ... otherwise you must visit at least once.
This place is great! My stomach doesnt like coffee, but I still order the ice latte with oat milk and and chocolate syrup. Definitely ordering it again next time.
Their Iced vanilla latte with oat milk extra pump vanilla is amazing
I feel like I am in a science lab. So much coffee technology, knowledge, expertise, and experimentation. Very cool place! Follow their IG page, they are always posting new brewing methods, technology, new beans, and competitions. This is the best coffee shop Ive been to or heard of, hands down. I am totally amazed and impressed. I just wish it was closer to me!
Sugarland finally has its own craft coffeeshop!Blendin, first of all, looks great aesthetically. From the Outside to the inside, the design is very clean, open, and airy. Makes for a great atmosphere. There is a medium sized patio with tables and benches. As for the inside, Blendin sources single-origin beans, roasts their own coffee in-house, and creates blends for their espresso and drip, so the coffee is very fresh. They have a variety of brewing methods for whatever coffee you would like to try. Some that are common, some that arent. Each method you choose provides a unique experience and different taste profile in the cup. They are currently just getting started in terms of service, but they plan to offer a drive thru service as well is rare for a stand-alone coffeeshop. They also plan to offer both free and priced coffee classes to the public which will also be a welcome addition for folks that love to learn about coffee.Understand that with every new business, there will be a few hiccups during the first few weeks, but they will only improve. Looking forward to seeing how Blendin becomes an integral part of coffee fanatics and the city of Sugarland.
Fantastic atmosphere and incredible coffee. Consistently good pour over. (I tasted blueberries in the Daratu.) Highly recommend. Let the coffee cool a bit before you drink it to taste everything the cup has to offer.
Great coffee shop that really focuses on the experience. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and willing to explain how they are prepping your coffee. Pastries are also very good. The layered crepe cake is amazing and melts in your mouth. My only complaint is that the staff can be intimidating. Once you ask questions they open up, but can be almost “too cool for school” initially.
Truly some of the best coffee in Houston!
Great coffee drinks, unique bakery items
This is a very nice place for clients, who have intense coffee love. The staff is very knowledgable and the owner is always there. I had a nice experience and enjoyed my Cafe Latte with whole milk. However I wish they had more desert options. I love the simple decor and and the place was very clean. I felt very relaxed while I was there there. Did nt get a chance to use their wifi so not sure about the wifi speed.
Easy and nice, good place to unwind.
Coffee was good 5 stars on thatServing size a 2 starPrice definitely a 2 star to expensiveOverall a 3 star! Might not come back. I’ll stick to Starbucks ☕️
The coffee is good, but they have no standard for timely service. First of all the cashier was having a leisurely conversation with a customer at the register when there was a line of people to the door. Then the cashier went to the bathroom for five minutes and left this, apparently brand new, barista on the floor by himself.Ive worked at a lot of coffee shops, and if I was making one drink at a time on the bar they would never let me back on there. Iced drinks, mind you. He didnt even need to steam milk. It was two iced lattes and two iced americanos and he made them one. at. a. time. Literally pull the shots, put the water/milk/syrup in the cups, pour the shots in and youre done. You dont have to wait for milk to steam to temperature. You dont have to drizzle any caramel or put any specific fraction of splenda in there. These are literally the easiest drinks for any barista to make. It was maddening watching this kid work. He got combative and insecure when I mentioned that it was taking a while and told me to have a good time at my dads funeral. Yup.Heres a saying you can use at work, it shows that you can at least try to pretend that you care about your customers. Ive said it many times in my years of retail experience, and I still hear people at other stores say it all the time, and I think you can too, if you try. It goes like this: sorry about the wait. Thats all you have to say. If you notice a line of people building up and you notice that theyre getting antsy you can just say sorry about the wait. You dont have to get offended and tell me to have a good time at my fathers funeral, which you knew I was on my way to.The coffee is excellent, so Im not going to slam them with a one star review just because this one disrespectful little kid working the bar at a coffee shop cant pull two shots at the same time. Just dont expect high standards of service.
This place is devoted to advancing and promoting the best coffee drinking experience. Excellent.
Coffee tastes amazing.. not bitter at all.. but I had the nutella cake, it wasnt tasty and was like a layered pancake cake.. very few food options but Id definitely go there again for the coffee👍
Good ambience, open air and decent baristas, great place to chill out during the weekend. Reason for three stars are that I thought the beans used were very bitter and my coffee had sizeable coffee grounds at the bottom.
Love the coffee & vibe. Wish they had more pastries offered.
This is the most scrupulous café I have ever had the privilege of visiting. They have 12-point brewing, grinding, and storage notes on every batch of beans at their bar.I have yet to try a superior café in Texas.I have gotten abysmal service here before. I do not care.My only request is that Mr. Zhang never gives up pushing the envelope. Within 10 years, Sugar Land could have a WBC winner.
Best cappuccino in all Sugarland. Recommended
To say BlendIn Coffee Club carries an air of excellence is an understatement. From coffee, to the atmosphere, to the management- the quality is unparalleled. It was about time Sugar Land proper had a true specialty coffee shop, and BlendIn falls nothing short of perfectly meeting that need. Such a treasure to have in town!
Coffee is great very comfy place to chat with your friends, keep in mind due covid cash transaction arent available, just card payment accepted.
Loved this place. Excellent coffee ☕!
The inside was quite posh and had that high in vibe. I had a regular drip Ethiopian (natural) coffee, and while pricey at 4.50, the flavor was on par with authentic Ethiopian flavor profiles. My wife is Ethiopian, and they have a certain way to make their coffee, and Blendin had a very similar flavor. Since it was a drip it was not has deep as I would have liked, but very respectful. Good job guys!
