Where do I start? Walking into this place is like walking into 1971. Smells like it hasnt been cleaned since then either.Asked a employee for summer sausage only to be lead to this.Plus everything I saw was 10% higher at least than other places here in town.I love shopping local but sometimes it aint worth it.

This is a great little store overall. Most folks are pretty pleasant. However, I called today to inquire if they carried a specific product and unfortunately, I reached a lady named Karen whose direct response was “l don’t know. We have lines and only two cashiers.” She seemed to be frustrated at the fact the phone rang.I nicely said “Thank you, this tells me that I should take my business somewhere else”Karen lacks good customer service skills in my opinion. She could have better stated something like “I do apologize, but we are busy and I only have two cashiers. If you don’t mind holding a couple of minutes, I can go check for you or have another employee check for you.”Instead, she has shown that customers are not a priority which sadly, if it weren’t for the customers, there would be no need for her to work there.This is the first bad experience I have had there, but others have stated that they have had poor experiences with a lady named Karen and a man named Terry.I will return and shop there, but if Karen is the cashier at the time, I will choose another line or go elsewhere to do my shopping.Customer service is a great thing and it seems many people have forgotten how to treat others the way that you would like to be treated.

Great BBQ done on Fridays and leftovers on Saturday if any. Whomever cooks out front of Store knows his BBQ. Nice guy too. Chicken, Pork was outstanding!! Get there early. Goes fast as word is out. Bravo 👏

I love Apple Market. If you like shopping in a grocery store with that good old small town friendly atmosphere then youre LOVE this place as much as I do. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help (unlike our big box store). It just like a breath of fresh air walking into Apple Market. If you come to Topeka please be sure to visit them.

It is a easy to shop locally owned store. The store looks like it is updated. Perhaps not the wide variety you find in bigger chains, but what you need to fix dinner. The prices may have been slightly higher than bigger chains, but well worth it to get in and out much quicker. The produce looked freash as did the meat selection. The aisle are marked well. The store was easy to navigate. Parking is plentiful too. Three stars because if you are looking for specialty ingredients, this might not be the store.

The store is clean and well laid out but their prices are too high for most of their products. I went in for Gatorade and almost paid $1.89 for it until I remembered it was half that price down the street at Dillons. If their prices were more competitive theyd really get more business. 🤔 Maybe next time...

Great service, friendly staff and very helpful. They even carry grocerys to the car! Just like it used to be. They have the best meat in town, the butcher will cut to specifications. Wish all grocery stores provided this kind of service, but they dont so I keep going back to Apple Market!

Friendly and helpful. Only place we can find Best Choice and Always Save products we live. We shop here every time we make our big shopping trips. Even if for only a few items. Just cant find them elsewhere.

Nice and quiet, no like the train wreck that is Dillons. Competitively priced, but with a minimalist meat department and no bakery/deli. If you do your own cooking and dont want the bulk packs at Aldi, this is a great store.

My friends daughter shops there quite often. Apple Market, has great selection of vegetables...carrots, celery, lettuce, cabbage. They also have a great cut of the different meats. I like that a lot.

I will never come to this place again, I walked in an asked a cashier where the restroom was, she gave directions, I went in to use it, came out she was standing outside waiting, then before she went in she cussed and said POOP for a better and clean word and grabbed the air freshener and began spraying like I had germs and she was going to catch something, well if your going to go behind a person of color after they come out the restroom like back in the 60s, then I wouldnt come back to your place of business.

Finally gave up and quit shopping here, after a years-long pattern of the items Id normally buy either a.) going up dramatically in price, or b.) being discontinued from stock. Also, got tired of other customers being rude to me, both in the store and in the parking lot. Ive been met with open hostility in the parking lot, which is, of course, no reflection on store staff. The issues with product pricing and availability does reflect on the store, though... i.e., management.Going back to the parking lot, it has become quite dangerous. People routinely go sailing through that parking lot, often going the WRONG WAY, blowing through the stop sign in front of the store, and otherwise running people over, either to get to the stall they want, or to go flying off to some other store in the mall. I dont know how many near misses Ive had in that lot... its ridiculous! I cannot believe how rude and reckless people are! Be extra careful in the lot. It wasnt that long ago that a shopper was hit.

Has a good variety of products. Down fall its really run down inside. People were kind and helpful.

Came here a few times for an item or two. Really nice store, no need for yet another special shoppers card. I guess the only thing I can complain about is the lack of self checkout machines, which means I have to stand in line at the registers with one or two items, rather than just breezing through like at Walmart or Dillons.

Nice store with plenty to choose from. They need to relay the store and remove the fresh meat product that is in the frozen department. (Maybe put a 14 day max rule in place) Guys, try taking markdowns a bit quicker to move thru close dated meat. Thin down your DSD and your margin would go up too. Great job with how clean the store is. Maybe work on team building so the employees smile more. I know it tough but keep working.

The first thing I did going through the doors of the Apple Market was greet the cashier with a hardy good morning. I was looked at and then ignored. Thats fine, I start walking towards the milk and I was stopped by the older lady that had just ignored me. Suprised that she can speak I stop to listen to what she has to say. She then rudely orders me to leave my backpack at the front of the store.I have been deployed twice I dont appreciate being treated like a criminal in my own country. I will never return to this store, shame too since its so close to my house. Oh and the milk is overpriced too.

Idk....Is it just me, or does Apple Market seem too entirely HIGH(ER) priced than it should B 4 that area?! Seriously?!? 1 can of veggies is a buck 3 9 that u can buy @ Walmart.....Or even DG 4 that matter, for 59 cents! Thats just crazzzy 2 me. I dont think theyre ALL bad tho~ Seems like their fresh meat dept. runs pretty good sales in their ads 90% of the time. We just bought sum p-chops a few wks ago that were in their sale ad, n got the last pkg. on the shelf even, & they were pretty fricken tasty; So, i guess if ya just want 2 stop in bcuz of seeing a good buy in their wkly ad thats great, but as 4 doing ALL MY SHOPPING there, & bein on a budget, Not the best, or frugal friendly store. 😐

Worst customer service ever. They want to argue about prices that they posted, even when you took a picture of it and prove it to them. They still refused to honor the sale price posted until threatened with a false advertisement lawsuit.

Although its a nice little store. The prices are ridiculously high. Im on disability and after paying rent and other bills leaves me with little to spend. I dont have a car so this is the closest. I went there for the first time and was floored by the high prices. The money I have is for a month. I tried to get the closest I could to what I get at Dillons but was only able to afford for two weeks there compared to Dillions for a month, and everyone knows Dillions is not the cheapest in town. So please Apple Market lower your prices. Im sure you would get more business if you did!
