Don’t take your car here! I strongly advice everyone to steer away from this store.I decided to take my car in for a tire change, and when picking the car up I noticed the driver side door is bent backwards. I brought this to the managers attention, not looking for any kind of compensation but just an explanation on what happened. All I received was denials and reasonings on how it could not happened. Due to the carelessness, the unwillingness to accept responsibility for their mistakes and lack of professionalism of this place, I strongly encourage you to take your business elsewhere.PS. The shop need to hire someone that know how to use the car jack, not someone that is unprofessional and damaging your car, ( Never Let The Asian Guy That’s Work There Touch Your Car) he seems pointless of what he’s doing.
This location has VERY poor customer service. They do not follow the posted hours and do not call to update you on the work needing to be done on your vehicle.
WORST PLACE EVER!!! BEWARE!!!Rescheduled my dads alignment appointment 4 times. Never succeeded anyway. I would put 0 feedback stars if was possible. Please go other shops from get go. Staff is highly unprofessional, shop is dirty, manager never there.
Very busy but never bad customer service
This used to be my go-to Firestone for many years until I found a few cheaper alternatives. I did have to come here recently to get a tire fixed. It had a nail in it. They were quick and efficient as always and super nice. Their customer service is always top notch and they never talk down to you. This is a great option for people who dont know much about cars. while you may be paying a bit more than you should if you have resources to do otherwise it is a service establishment that you can trust that they are not ripping you off.
I went online 10/4/2021 I made an appointment for 10/6/2021 at 8:00 am, I arrived that morning at 7:14 am, and I gave my car keys and gave them access to work on my car. I went there just to change the brakes on my car thats it. It takes 5 hours and 47mns to change a brake really Firestone.
Ive been at the Northlake location many times and each time has been very pleasant. Wonderful staff. Very helpful and professional. I even stopped by to have the air pressure of my tires checked. No questions asked and no charge for adding air. Ill need tires soon and will go nowhere else.
Not bad they just keep you waiting for a long time, I had a 7am appointment but I left at 9:45am I had two fluid changed
Still a long wait even with appointment but service good overall.
Did not like the experience. I originally went there to get a diagnosis for my car due to it smoking, oil is over the engine and a possible sensor issue. I did that and paid for it. The diagnosis was for an oxygen sensor, fuel system clean, and a tune up. I also signed up for a credit account that day. When I left I paid for the oxygen sensor only bc the other thing weren’t that major. A standard mechanic could have suffice those issues. However the day I left my car was still smoking so I called back the actual mechanic that worked at the location to discuss my issue. He told “just go to someone professional to wash off the oil that’s on there it should be fine”. At the time I was going there anyway but in the back of my mind I’m wondering why he couldn’t have done that if I went to them first. I just said ok and went to my mechanic. Again originally I was going to him for the tune up, in which, he say he cannot do because of the oil everywhere. He then notified me that it was my Valve needed to be replaced. So I called back to speak with Firestone. The representative was upset at my issue and took it personal. He wanted to make it seem as if I had to bring it back or I needed to stop listening to other people. He also made it seem as if I wanted to talk bad about the company when I just wanted a Proper diagnosing. But before I could bring it back that day I was leaving Lenox mall and headed there. The location is 7 mins from my house. That day I was leaving and my car cut off on a hill. I have tried to call customer service (they said wait 3-5 business days, not sure who has that type of time for a response on their car but ok) and speak back with them. I’m not sure what happening with their customer service now a days but I’m not sure I’ll come back.
Sons truck needed wheel alignment.Scheduled appointment for this AM and able to drop off, contactless.Had it done in just over an hourPleased with customer service and value. Will explore for future needs.
Terrible service.dropped my car Sunday, was supposed to get it same day. didnt get it in time next day (Monday) either. i had to miss work because of them. there was no apology no compensation. would not return here again.
This location I dont mind too much. My only problem is Im very OCD about my time and schedule so I tend to get all my information before setting my schedule. If I call and ask about warranties and anything pertaining to my file I want to know dates of expiration and so on. Just wasnt happy with the fact I lost time and had to go elsewhere for tires when I couldve just been told my tires were no longer under warranty and that mine were not in stock, that way I couldve woke up and went somewhere else and went to work. Time is money and I dont like wasting my time
This is the best firestone store. Clean and speedy service. The manager will ensure the coffee flask was full. He will knock a little small charge off since I had 4 tires. I got a discount card for future store service,At least they make you feel important.
After ordering new tires online at tirerack.com and designating Firestone Complete Auto Care of Tucker as the installer, I proceeded to make an appointment online. Upon arriving, I was promptly greeted by a service advisor who handled my service request for the installation and balancing of the delivered tires. The crew then completed the job within an hour, much to my satisfaction. Look forward to visiting this Firestone Service Center in the future to complement my auto dealers service department.
Nice experience. They were very busy. Very professional and Courteous. Fixed my flat as expected, put back on the car, returned my spare to storage area, and even gathered my jack and tools and wrapped them up and put them back where they belonged. Felt great about experience. Had WIFI. I was able to work on my computer.
Worst service ever I went there to get a new battery for my car they had me pay close to $200 for the battery they told me it was new it hasn’t even been a freakin year and the battery has already died on me I will NEVER COME BACK HERE
Discovered almost flat tire after 5:00. By the time I got to QT to put air in it, it was almost close to 5:25. A NTB was less than 2 miles away, but they wouldnt do anything but put spare on, & I would have to return the following day, because we close in 30 minutes. Called Firestone that was 10 minutes away, & even though by the time I got there they would be closing in 15 minutes, they assessed tire, found 2 nails & repaired the tire! All that even though it meant most of the work was done after closing time. Staff super nice & professional! Will be coming here for all my future tire needs.
On the phone one of them was rude.
I always come to this location. The staff is friendly and professional. The service is great. However, they need to throroughly clean this location. It is the same thing every visit. This time, I sat on the edge of my seat as the seats even had dust and build up in the sides and back of the seats. The carpet needs vacuuming. The remaining floors need a good sweep and mop. Everything needs a good wiping down. While I understand this is a car repair shop, the waiting area where customers frequent should be clean especially with the pandemic, COVID-19. I am afraid to go to the restroom.
Deserves 0 stars. Dont trust them!!! So I took my vehicle there for an AC check as it was not blowing cold. They came back and told me it was my Evaporator Core or Expansion Valve. Possibly the 2 worst things that it could be, I mean the whole dash, steering wheel, and center console has to be taken apart and the car looks like its in a chop shop. Called around for pricing and got answers of $3,000-$3,500!!! So I took it elsewhere for a 2nd opinion. There Im told its the AC Compressor, 100%. So I get a compressor for a couple hundred bucks and BOOM my AC works! Thanks for absolutely nothing I will NEVER return.
Worst customer service ever!! Called to asked about service history on my car and ended up going in circles with the lady on the phone over a mistake that they made! As if we the customers know how they process their invoices. It’s your mistake not mine! Never coming back to this shop again!
I came to Firestone looking for a solution to my car vibrating. I was told I needed a break job paid 700$. Guess what? That didn’t stop the vibrating of the car. I continued to bring the car back and forth to the shop on 4 different occasions. Each time a technician drove the car made adjustments to the breaks it would ride fine for a couple weeks then back to vibrating. Once again I am here at the shop and now they are telling me it’s a different issue that will cost me another $800. Are you kidding me? There is a lack of customer service, excuses and lack of expertise to diagnose properly. Thumbs down!
Good quality warrantee tires. An alignment is strongly suggested. Professional technicians perform a thorough check under the hood as well. This location is easy to get to.
The entire crew at Firestone Complete Auto Care is phenomenal! Arnold my customer service adviser was extremely helpful in explaining the service and keeping updated on the progress of my service. The technician was friendly and did an awesome job. Baby (my car) needed new shoes and Firestone Complete Auto Care of Tucker did an awesome job!
Very pleased with the service I received on August 8, 2018. The gentleman, Arnold, who helped me was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I spent more than I had intended, but the two extras I wound up getting were necessary, and I knew this in advance. There was no hard sell at all like Ive received at virtually every other car service company. This is the kind of service that makes people come back again and again, and recommend the company to their friends!
DO NOT COME HERE!After purchasing two tires for $345, they poked a hole in my right rear tire so I could spend more money! They are crooks! Go to NBT or Mavis Tire; anywhere but here!
Not very helpful when calling and asking about services.
Arnold, Steve and crew are good people. They always take care of my vehicles and are honest and straight forward about the repairs.
Good service, on time delivery, comfort feeling from the sales person and most important rectified my complaint but ....1. There is a hissing noise inside the cabin.2. Car wasnt vacuumed inside and external cleaning wasnt done (nor informed that it will not be done).3. All inspection report should be provided (like Walmart auto).
Honest, professional. Give you options rather than up-selling. Were lifetime customers at this location. Kudos to Tom and Steve. Whole bunch... great guys!
Good service
This place is the slowest tire shop on the east side. Six hrs to plug a tire. Actually ridiculous how slow the the workers move in the shop!
I called last week and set an appointment to have diagnostic tests performed on my 2007 Suzuki XL-7. After having to wait for over 20 minutes, I was informed that their computer was unable to communicate with my vehicles computer. I had an error for service to my Stability and Traction to be serviced. I was informed that the error would prevent my acquiring an acceptable emission test. Disappointed in this Firestone Complete Auto Care (Northlake) again.
I’ve worked in customer service for a long time and before I even got my car to your shop your employee, Arnold, made me decide on somewhere else. If you’re that rude on the phone and hang up on me, how am I to trust you to take the time to actually look at my car. Your employees should be on the same page, if one employee tells a potential customer they can take the business and another is incredibly rude and hangs up on you, no way I’m taking my car there. I need to be able to trust the work being done will be thorough and if you can’t even finish a phone call, you’ve lost business.
Called in about a car alignment and they were very helpful, detailing the price and how long it might take. I dropped my car off and the alignment was completed in about 40 minutes. Very kind service and they were available the moment I walked in the door. Customer service was fantastic.
Ive been a Firestone customer for a long time. Near St. Louis where I lived and now in Georgia. Employees-front desk people are always nice, informative & helpful. The mechanics have always done a great job on any kind of servicing for my car. I will stay with Firestone.
Tom is fantastic. He is a fair, fast, and a HONEST mechanic. His work has never disappointed. He tells me what can wait or needs to be addressed thats more concerning. His knowledge and expertise is trusted, he is polite, and diligent. Ask for Tom...Im a fan!
Excellent customer service
This Firestone Complete is a pretty good tire shop. All items and service were explained in detail. I would recommend it
I had a few issues getting my brakes fixed. I had to bring it back 4 times to get the same issue corrected. I gave 4 stars for the great customer service and willingness to correct the problem. I also come here for oil changes and tune ups and have had no issues with those services.
The crew here is very helpful. Tom and Steve are the best! Knowledgeable! Honest! Always informative! Been coming here for years!
I will give 0 star if I could. I came in at 3pm and need to do a mechanical inspection for my car. they told me it need 2 hours. But now it is 5:30pm, they even havent start it! I will never come back to this shop, and will tell all my family and friends this Firestone is suck!
Lied about time for waiting. Didnt have my other tire during appointment, had to wait longer for them to drive to the next town to get it.
Best place to get tires, alignments, brake service and tune ups.
Ive new to this location with multiple cars and for numerous of times. They are always courteous, knowledgeable and Ive never had to come back for repairs. Definitely recommend it!
Just stopped by on a Sunday, which it says you are open from the he hours posted, and the guy told me it would be until tomorrow to patch a tire. No one in the store. No cars were being worked on. What’s the point of being open?? He just getting paid to turn people away? Oh and he locked the door behind me after I left. Ha! I will never ever support this business.
Great staff.... And in and out service
Do not go to this place. I went for tire rotation. Arnold is the biggest crook on the planet. He will lie and say his techs were wrong about stuff just to switch up and get money out of you. He will get loud and professionally over talk you. Everybody working there is in on the sham. Now my van is making noises it wasnt making b4. More money!!! I am so disappointed and unsatisfied. And you will be to. You have been warned. And there was nothing wrong with my cv joints and noots befire firestone got to rotating my tires. Why do they have to be soooo dishonest!!!
Ive taken my vehicle to this place numerous of times. Customer Service is going down hill. Technicians have negligently damage other parts recently while performing basic maintenance services (oil change, fluid flush etc.) I say go somewhere else more trustworthy who will own up to there mistakes.
Great service! Great advice! This is my new location close to home and they are great!
Theyve done maintenance and repairs for three of our vehicles. A week ago they stayed open late to complete multiple projects on my truck so I could take it to work Monday. This included a courtesy check after releasing the vehicle and noticing fluid on the shop floor- we brought it back and they replaced a hose clamp.
Great service. A little pricey. But they do great work.
Decent place for oil changes and tires; however, they told me few times that my car needs CV joints replaced among a huge list of recommended services and I took my car to the mechanic few days later and the CV joints were just fine. These has happened 2 or 3 times.
The experience was great. Service was excellent inside and outside.
Updated: after leaving and getting my car on the highway, realized tires not aligned. Made an appt to go back the next day. Person tried to claim it was my break pads - I asked why going 70mph with wheels quivering had anything to do with my brakes.90 mins later, my car hadnt been touched. I left I complained. I STILL have not gotten a refund for the alignment package. I have to sign a release to get my money back? Steer clear of here ladies in particular. Happily at Pep Boys with lifetime alignment.I was quoted a price of $179 over the phone for lifetime alignment (wrote it down) and was charged $199 before coupon. So, double check ahead of time.
Great service the mechanic Tom can do anything over at that shop I highly recommend this shop I have been going there for 7 years thanks guys for getting my truck back on the road
Firestone is a total pro shop not just tires They do diagnostic and can fix anything that is wrong They have some of the best mechanics I have worked with in the commercial sectorEverything is spit shine clean with great friendly staff PS no hard sell all pro
Byron waa great. Took great care of us in the time he quoted.
Go into Firestone for an oil change and tire rotation. I tell the clerk I will drop it off for those two services. She pulls up my account and shows that a few other services are needed also. Fast forward to the next day. I get there and all they did was the recommended additional services and not the oil change and rotation. Ok - so no big deal maybe a misunderstanding. I go back in and let the same clerk know that the services I asked for were not performed. She proceeds to tell me how it was my fault and that I didnt communicate the need for the services I originally came in to get done (which of course was the first thing I asked to get done when I walked in). She simply gave me the upsell services and nothing I asked to get done got done. I then tell her that I didnt appreciate her blaming me for the mix up but that I needed to get the jobs done nonetheless. I lay my keys on the counter and they slide a couple inches (literally, maybe 2 inches). across the counter. She then accuses me of throwing the keys at her and disrespecting her. I ask for the manager because I cant believe this customer services, turns out it was her!!! The visit ended with her saying I was obnoxious, to which point I left and took my business to good year. Corporate Firestone definitely getting a call! Ive been a customer here for many years and never experienced anything like this. Never doing business here again.
No appointment so it took a little long on time, but the service was good and friendly. So all in all will come back.
Ive been going to Firestone for many years. Arnold is the manager and hes very accommodating. They always back up their work.
Experienced auto repair/maint staff here... The manager has been in car fix-it business for over 15 years, 10+ with Firestone. They are located close to I-285 and LaVista exit and easy to get to. Call ahead, and they can often schedule so you wont wait long before they start working on your car. I also got the lifetime alignment at Firestone, so you can get wheels re-aligned for as long as you own the same car.
Do yourself a favor a dont go here. I usually go to the one Duluth but now I regret it. I went for an oil change and day later I hear a scrapping sound driving on the highway. I pull over and to my surprise the splash shield came off and it held down by zip ties and there were missing screws. Luckily nobody got hurt but if it came out on the highway, it would have potentially hurt somebody so Im glad about that.
Tyre balance and alignment service was done for my car. But after the maintenance the same problem continues to exist. Finally I took my car to other Maintanance shop. Balance and alignment done. My car problem solved.
Great place to take your car for service. Steve is the best.
Appointment was at 11:30, didn’t leaving until 2:00.
Ive taken my car here twice. The first time they swore that my back tail light was fine and that the checked it - the next day I confirmed with a friend that it was in fact still out. Otherwise that visit was fine. The next time I took my car in they quoted me $1000 worth of repairs. After I got my car back, the ABS light was on. They insisted that it was like that when they got it (it wasnt) and that there was nothing wrong with my brakes because they checked. Now theres a grinding sound from my hood a week later. I guess I have to go find another place and shell out another few hundred dollars to fix whatever these guys broke and lied about. Avoid at all costs!
As I walked in they were there greeting me and was very helpful with the issues at hand I would recommend this location for anyone I’m extremely happy with my service thanks
Man these reviews on this site is so bogus, I find it hard to believe that this Firestone Location have anything above 2 stars! More than likely the people who reviewed this store location actually work for Firestone corporate period. This is one of three Firestones, I have had the unfortunate experience of visiting and dude the technicians have no idea what they are doing there! I decided to come to Tucker Location to get my power steering system worked on and man was that a big mistake. The Techinican working on my car [Tom], had no idea how to fix my car, and they never could get the job right, I had to bring my car back perhaps 5 times before I decided that I might need to take it too a traditional mechanic show to do the trick and guess what? It worked! I think that if you keep getting on their nerves by returning and complaining about your car not being fixed properly theyll do something else to your car to mess it up. Perfect example: they purposely drained the brake fluid from car so it could damage my brake rotors. Now I do a whole lot of driving but I never known for a car to run out of brake fluid especially after you just paid for a full service inspection and etc. Management is very disrespectful and so are the sales associates. It takes them forever to fix on your car and do not bring it here on a Sunday because youll have to wait possibly 4 hours to get your car back! All their services are seriously over priced and for the shoddy repair services youll get. One can only help but feel as if they are being ripped off, I warn you to seriously stay away from this location if you know whats best for you.And also I purchased tires from Firestone all the time in the past and man these people do not live up to their tire purchase agreement. According to the manager, you must have their wheel alignment agreement in order for them to honor their tire warranty agreement also.
Gave the tech the codes for what was wrong with the car before I even planned a drop off. Still had to pay $100 for a diagnostic and they still could not fix my car completely to pass emissions. Total waste of my time and money.
These guys were fantastic
Always make an appointment and they will get you out fast!!
I got 4 tires and an oil change on a Thursday morning. I had to come back Thursday night because they didn’t balance the wheels correctly. On Saturday morning I noticed white gunk all over my wheels. They never cleaned them after getting stuff all over them. When I was cleaning them I saw a big gouge in one of the sidewalls.I called them & they said to bring it back in. I got there and was told it would be at least an hour & a half, or if I came before their first appointment on Sunday, I could get in first.I waited until Monday and called Firestone customer service. They sent me to TiresPlus in Stone Mountain to get it fixed. Also, the manager, Arnold, is like a real life department store manager from Elf. He spent the whole time I was there snapping at his staff.
Horrible service I was hold more than 20 minutes just for price
The person that answered the phone had absolutely knowledge of what asked and was quick to rush me off the phone so there will not get my business Sorry
The new manager (Arnold) and assistant manager are terrible. I have been getting my cars serviced here for the last 10 years and now will be taking my business elsewhere. The customer service is awful. I was ignored and then disrespected. The old technicians, that were great have left, and the new technicians are less knowledgable and also rude. Before the store manager was Mr. Phil and he was absolutely wonderful. Very disappointed.
Been this location many times and the employees are always courteous and trustworthy.
Employees at the front desk are normally great, the manager is the worst, and reminded me why I stopped going to and recommending people to firestone years ago. The manager has the worst attitude, and always finds away to not honor a coupon. $49.99 oil change turned to $85, because the filter for my vw jetta is $19.99 and not $4.99. Makes me regret I paid for a lifetime alignment, never again. I will only visit for an alignment going forward. Btw visited another location and spent $58 for the oil change after discount.
Chat is one of the best mechanic, he always services my car well.....
Fast and reliable at great prices and discounts. My only place for car care.
My check engine light came on and I went here for a scan. A man said Catalytic Convertor is bad and walked away. Another man came out and handed me a printout that said it was performing below threshold. I looked at the paper and it said the scan was for a 2010 Kia Forte. That’s not my car!!! Now I have to see go somewhere else for them to do a scan. If you can’t do something as simple as a engine scan correctly, what else are they doing wrong?
Wow,your employee that just took my call was so rude saying he had a lot of customers there right now and basically was unprofessional on the phone to me really made me rethink being long time Firestone customer. You’ve lost my business!
Great service overall
I brought my car to be diagnosed and twice they gave me the wrong diagnosis both times... i hate coming here they always cause me to spend unnecessary money....
Decent car care. They seem honest.
Excellent customer service. More importantly skilled technicians.
So freaking angry. Car would not start. All lights on. Was told i had to replace battery in order to find out if starter was down. Was soooo angry because they did not have a battery charger. My battery was low not dead!!! SMH... I wont go back.
I had an appointment and they told me that it will take 1-1.5 hours to change 2 tires. It is took them 4 (!!!) hours ! If I knew that I would just drop my truck and come back later. They were telling every customer that the waiting time is 1-1.5 hours. One of the customers also was waiting for 3 hours for oil to be changed.
Well… I used to have really great customer service here. I cant remember the names of the gentlemen that helped me the last three times that I have dedicated my service to Firestone at this particular location. Today I called and spoke to Arnold and asked if I could come in for a quick oil change and he said absolutely come on in. I told him I would be there in five minutes. Once I got there it didnt seem like there were many cars in the bays so I was really excited. I walked through the door, the door alarm chimed. I saw this large gentleman with glasses sitting at a desk in the office as I came in drinking a Coke. There were two customers in the seating area. One of the gentleman that was working on a car came to the window from the garage to the office. He alerted the gentleman sitting down that there was someone at the front desk. The man responded, I know and still sat there for another two minutes. When he finally decided to get up from his lunch break, or whatever break this was at 4 oclock in the afternoon, He came in and asked me if I had been helped. Im looking around thinking how could I have been helped theres no one in here to help me. I alerted him that for the last three times that I have come, they have always been wonderful about meeting the competitors price. I have shown the Sears Auto Center, Groupon for the basic oil change which is $18.99. The gentleman refused to except it and said that the other people that had excepted it in the past were wrong for doing so because it was a Groupon and not a Sears coupon. I explained that it was a sears coupon through a service and that this store has always honored it no problem. He says to me I have an oil change for 1999 I can give you. I refuse to because this is on principle. If you want my business, you need to be consistent. Three out of four people honored this competitors coupon and this guy just wanted to be a hard ass. You have lost my loyalty and the 10 miles I drive to get there. I recently had great service at Neighborhood Tire Pros & Auto in Decatur on Memorial. They were able to change a bearing on 2 hours, dropped me at home and picked me up. Go see Mitch or Steve. Tell them Sasha sent you ;)Peace out Liarstone
Good customer service and Tom is one of the best mechanic.i give it 5 stars
Best place to get a set of tires with a warranty.
Always takes an eternity to do the most basic of services no matter how few customers they have.
Needed a Tire patched, in and out on a holiday weekend in decent time, all things considered.
Save yourself some money and DO NOT GO HERE! They are NOT honest about things. Just went here on Thursday April 13 and asked that my front and rear brake pads be replaced. The short, bald guy with the glasses (cant remember his name) said itd be like 45 mins to an hour. He comes back after an hour and a half and says you need front and rear brake pads and rotors. I look at him real crazy and tell him I dont think thats the case especially not when theyd just replaced my front rotors a year ago by their own mistake and had to eat the cost!!!!!! He smirks and says well theyre under spec and cant be turned. He quoted me over $600 worth of work even though my front brakes were still under warranty and would require no charge!!! Refusing to be jipped, I had them take my car down from the bay and I left. Went the next morning to Goodyear and got rear and front pads replaced for $300 including tax, labor and parts!!! Goodyear said nothing was wrong with my rotors, not warped or anything and that most places like these jerks just try to sell you pads and rotors at the same time!!! In other words, just trying to get over on people. These guys at this store are straight crooks and I guess becuz Im a woman they thought I could be had but I know my car! Dont trust them, nothing but a bunch of liars and beaters. Take your car elsewhere unless you want to pay for things you dont need done to your car.
In and out in no time. No fuss. No drama.
They did a great job.
Never had a problem and the waiting area is clean, air conditioned and has a TV and kids table.
Always great service
Great Day, Thanks for being a Great Instructor Mr. Mike 😀🚘
