After an online and word-of-mouth search this past January, I decided to work with Stewart Kuper Jewelers in creating an engagement ring for my girlfriend Kristen. Green is her favorite color, shes very Irish, and with a birthday in May as well, so I knew I wanted to start with an emerald. I decided upon a 2.94 Carat emerald flanked by two .85 Carat diamonds, all of which were of a higher clarity & quality than Id hoped for. My friend contacted Stewart to see about selling some old, broken gold jewelry that had belonged to her mother. Stewart gave her a great price for the jewelry and in the course of their visit, he also assured her that he could fix and upgrade an aquamarine and diamond ring that I had given her almost thirty years ago, and which she wore daily. Within minutes of meeting him you are able to pick up on his passion for diamonds and he takes great pride and ownership in his work. I had two strings of pearls that I wanted made into a bracelet. I am not a creative person, and certainly dont design but do know what I like. I wanted a 3 or 4 string bracelet made and pretty much left it up to them to make me something wonderful. They did a BEAUTIFUL job, and got creative when running into a snag with the spacers. I cant remember the sweet gals name who is usually at the front but she is amazing. The cost was so incredibly reasonable, and they literally re-crafted an heirloom piece of jewelry for me.

I was shopping for an engagement ring for my fiancé. I wanted to surprise her so I did all the shopping by myself. I did some research online and knew a little bit about the 4C’s. I visited a couple other local jewelers (avoiding the large big name national chains) before walking in to Stewart Kuper Jewelers on Broadway.When I walked in, Mr. Kuper himself walked up to shake my hand and was very very friendly. We talked for a while and laughed about a few things then we got down to business and looked at Diamonds. It was a very comfortable, no pressure, fun experience. It didn’t take long till we picked out a diamond and setting that were perfect. The price was much less expensive than the other local jewelers I had already visited. Mr. Kuper also told me that after I popped the question, we could bring the ring back and he would change it out for any ring she liked more and I would just pay/be refunded the difference.I am completely happy with the entire experience. A few days after I popped the question, I took her by the shop just so she could meet Mr. Kuper and his friendly staff.

My wedding ring of 30 years had shrunk to its limit. We had adjusted it twice and it would not take another. We had looked at new ones, but, these styles just dont have heart. We originally approached Bobby of SK with a single lose diamond that we purchased from another jeweler that was going out of business with the intent of asking SK to design and create a setting. After viewing the diamond Bobby informed us that we had not purchased what we thought we had and ultimately gave us sufficient information which assisted us in obtaining a $7000 refund from the other jeweler and saved us from making a serious mistake. We ultimately purchased the diamond we wanted plus two accompanying diamonds around which SK designed and created a diamond ring setting which matched a 45 year old wedding band. We could not be more pleased with the result. The time and customer commitment SK showed was without doubt superb and beyond anything I have experienced with any other vendor; regardless of the product being purchased. We will never deal with any other jeweler besides SK. It is such a pleasure having a jeweler you can trust and who treats the customer with such a great deal of respect and caring.

I took some of my broken /old and ugly and out dated Jewelry to 2 different stores for estimates, both estimates were two dollars apart from each other $253.00 and $255.00. I did not tell the second store how much the first one offered. Then, I took my jewelry to Stewart Kuper and again I didn’t tell him how much I was offered. Stewart Kuper came in at $32100! Which was $66.00 over the first two estimates! After he gave me that estimate I then added a few other pieces of jewelry to the estimate. I got an extra $24.00 making my Total $345.00! I meet Stewart a few years back when I was shopping around for a place to sale my gold jewelry to. I stopped in and got a price but I had forgotten some gold jewelry at home so I held off selling that day. Today I had to take my pup in, emergency situation and I didnt have the money to cover the bill, so I pulled out my gold that I had previously taken to Stewart and a few more items. Since I had visited his location on Broadway a year ago, he had moved to a new location, which I was unaware of. Tried googling but couldnt find new location on cell phone. On my way home to use computer I saw Good Ole Toms, so I stopped in there. The price given there was less than what Stewart had offered. I left there and headed home to find Stewarts new location on my laptop. I found it and called Stewart, because you have to make an appointment, mentioned to him that he offered me a price a year ago but that I had forgotten a ring I wanted to include and now I have to sale my gold pieces, we made the appointment for later today. I also mentioned why selling now. Stewart meet me at the door and his first question was, how is your dog doing? After chit chatting for a bit Stewart added up my gold pieces and when he showed me what hed offer to pay.... lets just say his offer blew Good Ole Toms out of the water! it wasnt just his price for gold that I took the time to search him out after he moved locations but also because each time we meet at his store we didnt just talk business. Stewart is such a wonderful man and you can tell he has a heart of gold, he actually loves what he does, meeting new people, chatting over things that arent even jewelry related and helping people out. I appreciate the candor regarding the assessment of a ring that I purchased at the 2018 GEM show, in which the center stone mounting is offset with prongs modified in its setting that is too high, and baguettes precariously set with one having a crack. In fact another Jeweler confirmed the same assessment that the ring did not appear to be from an actual jeweler de to the poor craftsmanship. Resizing was not advised as this piece will likely be the problem of the last one who touched it. I have learned a $974.25 lesson to instead patronize well established and reputable local jewelers like Stewart Kuper.

I have an inexpensive but very sentimental locket that was originally my grandmothers. It had some minor damage from a car accident and I was hopeful they could repair it for me. Bobby was so helpful, and the rest of the staff was so friendly. My locket was fixed within 15 minutes and he didnt even charge me for my repair. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend them to anyone.

I have purchased a number of things and had many repairs done at Stewart Kuper. They are by far the best jewelry store in Tucson. They ow their own stock and insist on excellent quality in what they buy. The staff is very, very knowledgable, patient and accommodating.

My engagement ring had a really pretty milgrain design, but unfortunately it was uneven and the original seller was unable to fix it. I read all the great reviews online and decided to take my ring to Stewart Kuper Jewelers to see if it could be repaired. Not only were they able to fix it right then and there, they also did not charge me for it. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend going there. The work that was done on my ring was perfect and now you cannot tell that there was a fault there in the first place. They also had a really nice selection of jewelry so we may head back and get our wedding bands there since we had such a great experience.
