Very helpful staff, nice and easy process to get the truck. Bonus points because 3 adult men can comfortably spoon in the attic area in the 15 truck. see picture.

Very poor customer service for this rental. Representative yelled at us. Demanded that our rental could not be for 24 hours. Refused to answer questions. We ended up having to call corporate office. This trip was refunded 100%

Never have I been so excited to take time and write about a company as I am now about this U-Haul. I have used U-haul both professionally and personally for the last decade and have always had great experiences but the folks at this particular store really do go above and beyond.Kyle is very thorough and efficient and through all our interactions, it was very apparent that he cares about his store and the customers that come in. Whether it is for a couple moving boxes, a storage unit or a vehicle rental, his attention to detail, customer service and ability to really make you feel welcome is unparalleled.During a recent long distance move, I did the typical shopping around for a moving truck. I was surprised to find that Budget rentals was offering a truck for a great rate and decided to go with the most cost-efficient route. After having to deal with Budgets incredibly poor customer service and going through two different vehicles that were not even close to safe or clean, I cut ties and hoped that U-haul would be able to help me out on a last minute rental.I worked with Tony, who jumped in without any hesitation, to get a vehicle rented immediately and there are not enough words to put how patient, kind and professional he was throughout the process. Tony made the transaction painless and fast and I couldnt have had a smoother transition after dealing with the horrible service at Budget Rentals.There really isnt much to discuss... If you want a company that will treat you right, this U-Haul on Alvernon is the only way to go. Kyle and Tony are two of the best employees I have experienced in any customer service industry and I cant say enough great things about them!

Ive had to rent a few u-haul-y things this last year. The people that work there seem happier than Bookmans employees (low bar). Theyre friendly. I hope they get paid well (not likely- see Bookmans) Keep it up, U-haul and pay your employees more- theyve earned it!

I was dumb enough to leave my car in their monitored parking overnight. The following morning my wheels were gone. They dont feel they are responsible for anything... that ended up being an expensive rental. Never again.

Even though this location is not completely finished yet, it has all the appeal we need in a U-haul store. The two guys Tonight, which I’ve nicknamed the “VW team” so I can remember their names, Victor and Walker, were excellent top notch individuals in customer service. Originally, I believe it was Tony, who welcomed me back when I could bring more information for him to help me. So, thank U, for being a permanent part of my community. I’m certain I will be back for as long as we both shall live. It will be good to see you all remain. It makes me think U-haul is a great company, hiring fantastic people.

Do U-Haul facility on Alvernon is an excellent place to store all your unwanted clutter. They offer both climate control and non climate control storage for your hoarding needs. The U-Haul rental facility has excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place if you need to have a trailer hitch installed, rent a truck to deliver, hall, or discard unwanted items.

Im writing this review solely because of Nicolas. Hes a great employee, he made an elderly womans day. I was helping my girlfriends Grandmother move and when it was time to return the truck, the office was closed and you had to use an app on your phone to complete the drop off. But Nicolas came over from the storage facility and asked if she needed help. When she said that her husband had a heart attack and began to get upset he went the extra mile to make everything as stress free as possible.

In the past 2 weeks we have rented a truck that we took from Tucson to Nevada and today a trailer to move furniture from Tucson to Prescott. The manager went above and beyond to help us with our long move after some changes from another location were needed. Today, Walker helped resolve an issue with the trailer we had reserved and getting us a better substitute. Awesome customer service and instruction on safety procedures, etc. Two successful trips. I was moving from Arizona to Michigan and there was a lot of complications. I didnt know whether I wanted to go through budget or U-Haul and once reserving with budget and being unsatisfied I ended up trying U-Haul. Kyle the general manager of the store was extremely knowledgeable and made sure that I got everything I needed including the tow dolly for my car and as well as all the packing supplies needed. when I got all the info I needed from U-Haul I ended up canceling my budget reservation. I would recommend this place to anybody who is weary of moving whether it be local or cross-country, they had everything I needed and customer service was top-notch.

Everything was going great when moving our stuff into our new storage unit until several homeless oeoope started using cards to get into the building and were wandering around as we tried to finish up. It wasnt that they were homeless and staying there for the night. It was more that they were strangers just wandering the halls and camping out while also being in the way. The whole thing was just very unsettling. And creepy.

Very friendly associates there to answer your moving questions. My first visit was to get moving quotes and the printed me several options for moving. They were very generous with my moving schedule as it didnt go as planned and picked up the trailer later than originally scheduled. Calling the 800 number was a different story. New person didnt check me in the next morning as we left the trailer at designated area the night before but was corrected.

Remember when really good customer service was a thing? It still is here.Ive stopped by the office four times over two months and dealt with five different employees, and every one of them has left me feeling exceptionally well looked-after as a customer.The units and property are clean, secure, and (at least the many, many inside ones) kept safe from the heat.I dont care if Id have to drive an hour, if I ever need to store something again, it will be here. Dont hesitate to reserve with them.

No move in promos like every other storage in this town and extra fees to have 24 hr access. Its too bad because we are moving over 5 units from across the way and would be a nice new location for us.

When booking the truck I was very specific about the door size I needed as this was an in town move to get a purchased item to the house. The person I spoke with on the phone put me on hold and said that they went out and measured the door and it was more than big enough. It was not, it wasn’t even close. When I picked up the truck I was told it had a full tank and that I would be charged $4.50 a gallon for any fuel they put back in it. For the 15 miles that the odometer had on it for my trip it was odd that it took 5.5 gallons to fill. On returning the truck I expressed my concerns to the person checking the truck in and all he said over and over with a smile on his face was that I should have verified everything for myself. As frustrating as it is, he is right. I should have slowed down and not trusted these people who acted like they cared. Who acted like the we’re going out of the way to help me, and we’re absolutely not doing that and verified it all for myself. I was angry, very angry at this point. So instead of saying anything stupid, I just left. I did not talk to the manager I just left. I tried to call back and speak with the manager later, but was told that the manger would not be it until the next day. I will try again but I do not expect a positive result. So, if you want to use a 10’ truck that gets 2 miles to a gallon and deal with very nice people at the beginning of your experience and very condescending people at the termination of the experience, then U-Haul on Alvernon is your destination of choice. I think I will just go elsewhere for my truck rental needs in the future.

The manager of this facility was amazing. We were towing our car, parked at the storage unit across the street and struggling to get the car off the dolly. She walked over with me to help us successfully unload the car from the dolly, and hooked me up with an icy bottle of water before I went back to unload the truck. She was friendly and helpful and provided supreme customer service. It was a great welcome to Tucson after a long, stressful day of moving.

Manager seemed extraordinarily good, informed, & concerned. The only problem being that they dont have PROPANE at this location, yet, even though Google maps indicates they do. I was told they should get it in a month, or so (02/21/18). I will be happy to come back when that happens.

Was an interesting having him ask for reference to rent a truck after yrs of renting them from them. Wont rent me truck unless he called someone I know to ask if I was renting truck today. Dumb! Dont rent the ford trucks they get terrible gas mileage.

The woman working the front desk (I believe her name was Amber) was one of the nicest and most professional employees I have ever spoken with. I normally wouldnt leave a review for something as simple as grabbing a uhaul but we were blown away with how helpful and well mannered she was- above and beyond!

Good place with all the different sized vehicles you could ever need. From pickups to full-size moving vans, this store has them. Parking is spacious. Very helpful staff.

Even though this place is quite a ways from where I live, Im glad I got my storage spaces here. The people are very accommodating and will help work out any problems you have when it comes to putting your personal things in storage. I had 3 storage spaces which was to much of an expense for me. The manager helped me get my things into two units next to each other. I highly recommend this place for your storage needs.

Really rude and mean workers. I felt I was treated with disrespect quite a few times here. It just felt biased and like they are prejudice to my mom cause they kept being forceful and mean and even threatened her to stop loitering we were waiting for someone to bring another load for the storage. We are already going through some stuff and this guys outside keep staring in a mean way at us. I am only ten and my brother is scared to go to the bathroom alone by hself because those guys keep saying g stuff toy family sometimes and I wish we can go put our house stuff some other storage place so Im gonna beg my mom to please do it. I dont like coming here again sorry

Dont make reservations online.. When you get there to pick up the confirmed and reserved truck, you will be told they dont have one for you. They will tell you there is someone coming in an hour for their truck, (yes,who is scheduled for an hour AFTER your) and they have one for someone who is an hour LATE so far to pick theirs up so that YOU, there and ready to get yours, will be sent to a store clear across town .. and treated like youre not a paying customer either.. Why, if Im there on time for my truck, i am turned away for others who are to come later than me?? They said the online service doesnt work, but our info was in the computer they said?...ookkk.... Will not be using uhaul again.
