I called this establishment at 6:00pm this evening and spoke to a Marsha or Masha. I asked her if it would be okay to come in at 6:30pm because I wanted to respectful of their time. (Google says they close at 7pm) She assured me that it would be fine. She confirmed the 6:30pm time with me. I arrived to the salon at 6:25pm and they were completely closed. Lights off. Closed sign hanging in window. That is the worst customer service I have ever received. I did not receive any notification stating that they would be closing early and I had just spoken to someone less than a half hour before arriving. I have been coming to this exact Fantastic Sams for over 15 years. I will not be returning.
I give Fantastic Sams in Tustin the thumbs up for the great hair cut and color that I got. It was exactly what I imagined it to be and loved it. I enjoyed the time I spent there and was treated to coffee and great conversation with my stylist and the owner who was in the salon. I highly recommend them.
Fran gave my daughter a great haircut! And she was very sweet with her. My daughter loves getting her haircut.
Their website doesn’t say they only do perms or hair coloring by appointment only and I made the mistake of coming in without a appointment. Big mistake. After a great deal of debate and the stylist wasting twenty minutes or more, she finally accommodated me anyway.The result was one of the worst perms and haircuts possible. The stylist didn’t listen to me about the style of haircut nor did she give me the right perm. Overcharged me as well. Paid, tipped her anyway and ran out the door. Lesson learned.Since Sue is gone?I’m not going to waste my time or money on this place, again.Go someplace else or expect a third world haircut by a stylist that doesn’t care what the client wants.Also the salon has new owners. Sue has sold and retired.
After it was sold to the new owners this place has become a joke. They only care about money. I had 3 trips there, the first time I had to ask her to shampoo my hair, which is included. The next 2 times, same girl didnt do it again and I didnt say anything to test her. Time after that, different stylist, same thing, no shampoo. This time I spoke up.The owner knows about my issue, we spoke via emails. Get them in and out it seems, he has Range Rover payments to make. Today my 88 year old mom went in and they charged her $40, she was told its a price increase for all stores. I dunno if thats true or not, they are independently owned, I guess it is possible.Anyhow, I no longer go there and I suggest everyone else do the same. Maybe they can sell it back to someone who cares about people and not just money.Really Riad? You think this is about me asking for a discount? I told you what Sue charged me and you gave me that price one time, then told me it would be $1.00 more. To get that, I had to come in on the one day you have the special going, which I did and that was fine.Your salon is a joke now, you charged me more money and gave me less, PERIOD. This is the very first review I have ever written about a business. You never replied to my last email after we spoke for a few of them. So keep making responses like you did to me, show others why they need to stay away from you.
Great place, great atmosphere, friendly people, the new management did a good job upgrading the place and staff always get my cut right.
This is a wonderful salon with highly skilled hair stylist. A kind young lady by the name of Naaz did my fade haircut perfectly. She helped me pick out the correct molding product so I could style my hair my way & the cut was a great price! She didnt rush through like some of the barbers I have gone to. A few weeks earlier I walked in and met a spanish women who used to own a successful salon in downtown Anaheim that I remembered. She colored my hair and the color came out great ! She covered up the ugly washed out burgundy color that was not flattering for my age of 55. Thank you ladies. All the stylist here are very good & kind! Im a happy customer!G G
I was able to find a coupon on the website. I called prior to coming to the shop to see if they will honor my coupon and they said yes. When I came they didnt honor it. Unfortunately I need haircut and since Im already there. The Asian that cut my hair wasnt so friendly did my hair in a rush and when I told her its not even she didnt do anything. It took her only 5 minutes to cut my hair. No shampoo even. Definitely not coming to this place. Not so happy with her.
If I could give this place zero stars, i would. I came in for a trim with long layers. I thought we were on the same page and after I came home and dryer my hair I almost cried. There was only two layers, shoulder length and the rest of my hair. My hair was botched, likes so bad and its so short (and I had LONG hair too) she just whacked it off like she didnt even listen to what I wanted to have done. Never going back again and now I have to go somewhere else to have it fixed. Very disappointed
DO NOT GO HERE. Leila the “store manager” is very unprofessional, as well as all of the staff. This place should not be in business, and I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This is the WORST service I have ever received.The hair color was done in a rush for no reason, and I have paid over $100 dollars for a service I am extremely unhappy with. I have called to get this fixed, and have even gone into the salon to get a refund or to have my hair fixed. Neither of those things have happened. Extremely disappointed in service, staff, and all around experience.
Not Happy! I went in to get a trim (2 in) on my long hair - no wash or dry just a cut. She was going to charge me $10 extra...for long hair. When I told her that I was just getting a trim she said $19.95. The haircut was supposed to be $15.95 today (Wed). Needless to say I walked out. I used to go there for quick trims but no more.

I traveled for a visit to California last week and was so eager to change my hair color as i heard they have great salons.I wanted to go from dark brown to a shade or two lighter and wanted it to still look very natural. This place was recommended to me by a friend of mine that lives in Tustin. I was abit nervous at first cos the rating of this place is not the best but i was told they have new owners/management and hairdressers so I decided to give it a try.I have to say im INLOVE. My hair looks so natural and they gave me the exact shade i was looking for. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back on my next visit
Just walked in, wait was not too long, ended up getting a haircut with Farah. She was very professional had my haircut exactly as I wanted. Apparently the place is under new management, clean very well in order.

Sue was the best.My mom always used her until she left so she was stuck with some other lady and this lady butchered her hair, my mom came home crying. The lady got dye all over her forehead, cheeks, and ears then told her to take it off with nail polish remover! Which would actually cause more damage! I had to sit with her and take it off with baby oil!I had a horrible experience myself a few years back,I have really long hair it was to my butt I asked for a trim and showed them how much using my fingers and they took over a foot and a half off my hair leaving my hair at my shoulders. I went back once after that and my mom monitored them cut my trim.
Horrible service. The lady with blonde curly hair was So Rude. I really dont like how she was so annoying. If you move just a little she get so impatient. NEVER AGAIN WILL COME HERE!!.
Went as a walk in to get a least 2 inches trimmed off. Good customer service, not crowded wait was 5 minutes. Went to show them my $3.00 off coupon on my phone but they have no scanner. So no discount. They should of gave it to me anyway. Then to me thats false advertisement
Never again will I return here. I went in to get a haircut and was told it was one price. I requested a fade. During the haircut the woman talked a lot about the haircut and how complicated it was. I asked for her to use shears on the top, she said she would, but she didnt. She also talked to the girl in front about how complicated the haircut was and suggested that it was a special cut and therefore should cost more. I told her that had I been informed of that I wouldnt have gone there. Charging more for a fade? She didnt even follow my instructions. No thank you. That kind of business practice is unethical and possibly borderline illegal. Had I not spoken up, I wouldve gotten ripped off. She knew what I wanted and waited until after she was almost done with the cut to change the price she gave. Shame
Had minimal wait time, Olivia was friendly, easy to talk to and I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she got it on the money.

I got there at time just to be told she couldn’t attend and very bossy and unprofessional never going there again, if your gonna get paid by someone don’t be telling them to hurry up or else they won’t attend you very unprofessional don’t recommend
