I worked here for a little over a month in 2019 for seasonal, I met a lot of amazing people in the short time I was here. Now every time I come in I’m still greeted as if I never left, that’s an awesome group of people. I usually see Alan, and Landen when I come in, and they are so helpful and kind. I honestly appreciate the fact that they’re super professional about their jobs, yet they still crack jokes and make me laugh every time I go in! Thank you all for everything!

GameStop is awesome! My son purchased a refurbished Switch online. Well, it stopped working after just a couple weeks. GameStop in Twin Falls took it back and credited it towards a brand new one. We only had to pay the $30 difference to get a brand new one! Not many other places will do that with electronics. The guy-I think his name was Landan-was so nice as well. It was so easy and hassle free.

Landon was very helpful answering questions and helping find items. He wasnt pushy when asking to upgrade membership cards. The store has a decent selection of new and used games as well as accessories.

Manager was late opening up. Then argued about only being able to get a free game if all the games were 19.99 and under. Which I replied that makes no sense. Why would you punish customers for paying more money. Which he was wrong. Oh and all 3 games I first chose were only available online even tho they were marked available in store. I wouldnt recommend this store. Prices were high for used .

This is a smaller market store, but the inventory is still pretty good. The associate working was very knowledgeable and we had a good conversation about coming items and preorders.

Bought an Xbox elite series 2 pro controller preowned, and let me be one of the first to tell you thank God for the 30-day warranty. Got home with the controller and immediately noticed problems with it had it sent in, got another one in worse wear. Had that one sent in. The guy at the counter was a huge help. Sent the second one back in and got a fresh straight-from-corporate refurbished one. I hate that I cant remember his name. Would highly suggest getting the extended warranty on ANNNNYYYY electronic period. Dot. Period. No exceptions, itll be worth it for your peace of mind. Always remember, its never the retailers fault for software/ damage issue, its the company and machine that built it that is to blame. My controller not working has nothing to do with this mans job, so why should I blame him? If anything being more kind to him got me a better controller quicker. Cuz whats he going to do? Go out back and build it himself? Dont blame retailers for faulty shipments. Mini rant review over.

Yesterday as we were passing through Twin on our way home, we stopped at Gamestop in the mall. Its an average gamestop store, not very big and only one employee was working that we noticed. Even through their wasnt many customers, it still took a while to checkout because, the customers in front were trying to trade in games for cash n credit. I found it very disappointing that those customers werent able to trade in anymore games for cash because they were at their limit. I dont believe their should be a limit on that trading games for cash. Anyways, I greatly appreciate the lady un front of us who told the cashior to go ahead and check me and my hubby out. It very thoughtful and sweet of you, so thank you! Overall this store was great and a awesome variety of used ps3 games to choose to buy that our, hometown gamestop doesnt have.

This store has been very horrible since the first day that they opened for business. In 2011 I went to their store that was packed full of people and bought game called Def Jam Vendetta Fight For New York that costed like $25 and it was so scratched that I couldnt play it. When I called and told them about they thought I did the scratching. If they didnt had the store full and reviewed the game before I bought it I wouldnt if wasted like $25.

Over priced... no selection... for used items that half the time they put the wrong game in the case. Not a fan..

Went in to drop 50 bucks on a limited figure, stood in line for at least 15 minutes while the people in front of me placed an online order, asked the associate who was walking around to please check me out, apparently the register was broken or something... walked out and bought from Amazon instead. Total waste of time.

They have boxes out to purchase controllers but yet dont have any to go with the boxes just upsetting that I put everything I went to purchase back on the shelf and left, if you dont have it to sell dont put boxes out for people to purchase seems like that should be false advertisement, not happy with that facility do not think I will ever do business there again, not the kind of place I want to attribute to my life, very misleading

Staff need to help faster. And they gave me an old case for a game. Which doesnt make sense I dont buy something that is 20 bucks to get a case with no original case.

I have more of a request than a complaint, I was a seasonal employee I loved working there with Susan, Scott and Allen I never had so much fun that it didn’t feel like a job you know that saying “work somewhere you love and you never work a day in your life” that’s what it was, but I’m sad because I was hoping before Susan left she would get what she really wanted out of the store and that was for it to expand into an actual store outside the mall so she could hire more people. I have noticed all the new merchandise and can’t help wonder just how much cramped it’s gotten to be in the back and how we had to shimmy around the boxes it was almost felt like on frate day the boxes were about to fall on you and that’s not the employees fault because there would only be two people working so one would have to do freight by themselves while the other held down the fort, but! If you the corporate guys would be kind enough to consider to expand outside the mall that would be amazing, safer and allow for more employees to come in and customers I think! Also I would apply for a permanent position next time.

Dear Game Stop,Growing up this place was always where I wanted to be, and where I wanted to work. I would beg my father to take me here just so I could look at all of the cool games. I began to grow up, and doing so made me way more observant. I began understanding the ways that you as a corporation operate. You do sell new content, games, consoles, and are now slowly transitioning into tshirts and expensive video game props. The used game and console business is where the entire company starts to show their greed. Essentially offering gamers a very small fraction of what they paid, then marking the price up dramatically, and selling it without giving anything back to the developer.Growing up in a house hold with little money, I saw trading games with getting little back from them, as a way to get new games. Now I see it as a form of corporate greed for maximizing profit margins. I have personally completely removed myself from anything involving your business. I used to spend hundreds, if not thousands, at your store and never again will I spend my money at one of your stores. You know what I remember when checking out? The sales associate pressuring me to purchase the edge card, the protection plans, the reservations. Constantly pushing product down the throat of anyone with a shred of a pulse, just to get a $5 reservation, that I would always go back and cancel.One day you will be on life support as a company that will be trying to sell physical media, or a bunch of things that are stupidly over priced like game props, and you will be completely choked out in a digital world. Gamers will order their consoles online, and you will no longer have a purpose. It may not be tomorrow, or even next year, but one day I look forward to no longer even hearing of your existence.

If looking for older games and equipment this place will do well for you, but keep in mind the prices may be more than you are willing to pay. Obscure titles that are less popular may be reasonable but more popular titles, even if dated are unreasonable in price. Of course this is a matter of opinion.

Literally walked around here and purchased stuff and when I came back later with different people working they found my hoodie offensive and called security. Nobody asked me to take it off or leave if I wont or anything they just went and called security on me. I have shopped there before and I dont find my hoodie offensive instead I actually got a compliment in the store shortly before hand. If they found something offensive they should have came to me not gone to security and pulled them aside for something so small. I wasnt even making a scene or anything with it, Im a 20 year old Male and what I wear shouldnt decide if I can shop there as long as it doesnt have Xrated photos what does it matter. This is horrible service in my opinion and as somebody who spends a fair amount of money there I dont think Ill be shopping at gamestop anymore.

Just got an email saying they cancelled my order. No explanation. They already took the money out of my account. Ive been sitting on hold for over 30 minutes. Said wait time could be up to 60 minutes!!!! This place is a joke! Dont order online from them!

Absolutely Revolting how employees take advantage of little kids, They are trained to get as much money as possible if that means refusing sale of a cheaper game or trying to persuade a more expensive game. No sale for any AAA Games ever. Honestly I would not be surprised if game stop goes under because of there poor service and arrogance. Buying games from amazon if you want a physical copy, or digitally. It would save you so much money and time. STAY FAR AWAY!

The service is fantastic! But the place can get busy and have to wait a few minutes to get to the register. If the wait time seems long, its usually because someone is trying to trade in a system or a large amount of games which is a slow process anywhere and causes the store to build up a line. Great game selection on both used and new and the staff is always willing to help find what you are looking for. Strongly recommend this store to anyone looking for themselves or for a gift.

You should start asking people to leave if u dont like what there wearing you dont have to bring security in it for no reason at all some people are willing to take off what u find offensive. Employees like Allen and Landon were a pleasure to work with when i was looking for the neon blue/red joycons for the nintendo switch, and one of the women who works there (Cant remember her name,sorry) tried her best to help me when i couldnt find a product i wanted for my switch and she found right there.Were especially helpful for when i needed my SO to pick up my crash bandicoot controller due to a tight schedule.

This store is super bad they slamed my xbox at check out and then when i went home the xbox was broken the next day i wanted to return it to get a,refund or replace it the workers at gamestop said i broke it and it was a lie i will never come back there i recomend to go to the inernet or to a other store

When Susan leaves there will be no reason to shop here. Buy online it is cheaper, sell online trade games with friends. I have had nothing but trouble when Susan is out of the store. Absolutely 100% terrible customer service.

The first time I went there I got some amazing games but the last time I got the game I wanted for some timt then it turned out to be disconnected to the gaming world

I dont recommend GameStop overcrowded horrible service. I said i wanted the Last of Us Remastered and asked if the they had it, but there was only one copy he/she said they were going to buy it after work. Then proceeded to block me from the game and suggested Fallout 4. and the guilt tripped me into buying saying that he wanted it and that fallout 4 was a better game. I hated fallout I will not buy from them again. I highly recommend the internet or your game store provided on you ps4 or Xbox 1 + more.

They can have good deals on used games, and have a nice selection, but customer service can vary a lot. Sometimes its normal and fine, and other times it can be absolutely horrible.

This is supposed to be the best place to get your video games but it does not live up to its name and their service is really bad i waited in line for more than 15 minutes i was just in to buy an xbox card and they were pulling people from the line to pay for games and they never pulled me to pay so i just went to shopko and baught it took me less than 5 minutes to get helped and their game selection is the same every time you are better off going to hastings or to 1 pawn or to best buy they have better game selections and better prices so overral my experience was bad i do not recommend this store
