I went in today to get some candles and was right away greeted by the associates on the sale floor! Nathan was the one that personally helped me out. He was super nice and easy to talk to he was very helpful and I was able to find just what I was looking for!

The employees here do not leave you the hell alone. They come up to you every 5 seconds asking if you need help or are you finding everything ok. Like I know what you look like bc you have a blue apron on with a name tag. Why do they insist on bothering you all the time? It makes me want to leave the store early which is exactly what I did. Not sure if this is every location but I hope not bc it makes a shopping experience very annoying.

I usually  dont  leave  reviews  but Ive never  been this genuinely frustrated about  an experience at a store before. I usually  head to bath and body because I absolutely  adore their aroma therapy collection  and I like to look around and see whats  there or what I havent  tried and potentially  buy something  thing new its kinda like a little  me day tradition. Unfortunately  when I went to the bath and body works on a friends suggestion in Vernon Hill my experience was any thing  but pleasent. when  I walked in  the store everything seemed  normal and  I was looking  around  and asking  questions  about  scents and the difference  between  some of the lotions. after I had been helped something  that caught  my attention  was a conversation  between  two of the stores employees  one of the employees looked to maybe  be in their  early  to mid-ish 40s and the other had to be no older then 22 and the older woman  who I presumed to be in some type of supervisor/Managerial position  was just absolutely  going in on this employee in the middle  of the store like it was absolutely nothing being judge mental  and overly and unfairly critical about  this person work ethic just in front of everyone and the part that made me feel incredibly uneasy was that she was verbally  assaulting the person  who had just got done  doing  a wonderful  job answering some of the  questions  that I had about  some of the different products  in the collection  and was even going  above and beyond by assuring me that when I was ready to check  out she would  help me set up an account   so I can start getting  rewards because  I frequent  bath and body so often. So to watch the person that just helped  me get chewed  out for what  felt  like no reason  at all and on top of that to be publicly  shamed in the middle  of the store. I dont  something  about  it just felt really  off like that type of behavior wasnt  a new occurrence and that made me feel almost sick. I ended  up waiting  until  the older woman walked  away and approached  the employee to apologize  for the way  that  she had been talked to and  was only greeted with professionalism/ hospitality and a brief acknowledgment  of my well intentioned apology.  When I went to register  to check  out the woman  who had been yelling  was there so I didnt  feel comfortable  making  an account  but I was able  to get her name from  her name tag  (Phoumy) I still intend  to shop at bath  and body but could  someone  please  look into the way that the one in Vernon  hills is being  ran because  something  is severely  not right  and it felt wrong  to say nothing  about  it. Well stocked with all the scents, the staff is very friendly and helpful, even if a bit pushy for sales.

Went on black friday and they counted the employees as people for the store capacity so we waited outside for 30 minutes to get inside and when we did there were only a handful of customers and instead 10 employees standing around doing nothing. They had no idea which scent I was looking for and instead of trying to help the girl said the scent was discontinued which is a lie because I had just picked up the same scent a few days before at another location and the scent is new. The employees at this location just simply dont want to work which puts me off especially since I spent over 200 dollars. I wont be coming back to this location and instead will go to my regular location that is friendly.

Truth be told, this is not a store that I frequent, but I stop there for surprises for the wife sometimes. Every time Ive been there, the staff has been very helpful and friendly. And one things for sure, they are taking this COVID pandemic very seriously. They enforce the standard of using hand sanitizer as you enter the store, and they wipe down the counters and card readers after every customer is served.

A HUGE thank you to the girls that worked the Saturday before Mothers Day. You saved me from having to revise my gift list!!!

Love this place! So many lotions, candles, etc that smell so good & the lotions actually work well on dry skin. This location is always clean and organized. The staff are really nice and very helpful.

I really liked the new store set up and location but I was sad to see that the store manager, Phoumy, was rude towards her fellow employees the few times that I’ve been there so far. She was seemingly polite to me as a customer but I could tell that it was fake and it made me very uncomfortable. I would have put a full 5 stars if the store manager treated her employees as equals. If that’s what happens in public what happens to them behind closed doors? It must be 10x worse.

Phoumy - was so helpful, she helped me pick out something for my entire family! The best part about it, she was excited to help and offered up suggestions that make my experience that much easier!!!In summary, she was great !!!

I went there a few days ago and a worker comes up & asks if I need help and then asks when I’m due (I’m 9 months) so I tell her I’m getting induced on Sunday. Long story short she goes on & on about how I shouldn’t do it and talks about her experience trying to make me feel bad that I’m getting induced instead of doing it naturally making me super uncomfortable & awkward. Which was highly unprofessional & made me want to leave the store smh. Otherwise it’s always super clean and nice inside.

As a dude its always fun to come here and get help from the nice people that work here. Seems silly but I was a 7 in 1 kinda guy and smelled ok. After getting some help from the ladies that work here is mellow great and my apt smells better than ever!

Bath & Body Works is a chain retail store that specializes in fragrances. Bath & Body Works carries a large selection of body sprays perfumes candles lotions and air fresheners. What is a unique part of the store is that the employees are very knowledgeable and very helpful so that they can help you selective fragrance that you might like just by your description of what you like they can steer you in the right direction. Not only is this a great place to shop for yourself its also great place to buy gifts they have all kinds really nice things to pick from

The staff is very nice here and there is a great selection of products. Look out for coupons and sign up for a rewards account in their app. The lines can get long and hectic, especially during holiday season and weekends. Other than that, this is a great store.

My boyfriend and I were not greeted upon entering the store. The two ladies working were both at the entrance and having a conversation that was clearly more important than customer service. Immediately after, two more women (who happened to be Caucasian) entered and were greeted and helped with a swiftness. We were not helped or asked if we needed assistance, then when checking out, cashier had a 10 minute conversation with the woman in front of us, making us wait for them to finish. Very unprofessional and had it not been for the semi annual sale and my good but tolerant mood, I would have left.

Nice store. Havent been in it for many years, but was glad to see that they still carried the products I used to get. Packaging was updated, but the names and scents were the same. Also some great new products.

I go in this store a lot and I never have issues but a few days ago I went in and was extremely shocked and disappointed to see the store manager Poomy yelling at her employees from across the store. I also asked her for help finding a scent and she was kinda rude and didn’t even say anything to me, she just took me to where it was and walked away. When I went up to the register to check out, she started ringing me up and then yelled for another employee to finish ringing me up so she could go greet customers. I thought that was very rude and unprofessional. I don’t think I’d go back.

Always a fun store to visit with new products and great sales. They have a new rewards program. Look into it. Their candles are wonderful. Always a friendly staff.

This location has the worst customer service. Leslie was horrible. While ringing us up she never spoke and then was checking her phone and texting before I ever paid.

A wide variety of scents...love the foaming hand soaps and mini candles and scented hand sanitizer...I got peach bellini.
