Have used kemp’s service for years. Their ability to deal with what ever we drop on them is impressive. In my half century of dealing with service we have found kemp’s to be 100% trustworthy and recommend them to anyone who appreciates this. Have never delt with anyone easier to deal with. Had a flat tire Tuesday, called after hours and he picked up. Wednesday, dropped off flat tire before work, he carried it out my car. Went in during lunch to have good tire put in and I was in/out within 15 minutes. He put my spare back in its place. My total was very affordable and he test drove it to ensure its all good. Very fast, friendly, affordable! My dang air needed light finally went away! Highly recommend this place!

Steve Kemp has a long history of ripping customers off. He also has a habit of fixing things that were never broken in the first place in order to charge more. These poor and unsuspecting customers get taken advantage of and he should feel ashamed. He is also charges way more than neighboring shops for his sub-par work.

These guys were great. Did not try to RIP me off being female thank you..the repair on my exhaust system was going to take longer than expected, the mechanic gave me a ride so I didnt have to pay for a taxi. Repair cost $100 less than the quote and they wd40d my squeaky door on top of it. Highly recommend them...

My cars brakes had given out on my way to work (brake pad fell completely off). I pulled in around 7:30 to see if anything could be done. I was quoted time and dollar amount, and they had my car finished by 11 so I could get it on my lunch break. What I paid was actually less than what I was quoted. Quick, great service with decent pricing. Havent had a problem with my brakes since.

Horrible unprofessional, called ahead of time to be sure if they can change tires for me, guy said yes it’ll be about 15-20 min per tire.. so I drive 30 min with really bad tires and then he says he’s swamped today to come back tomorrow.. really? You should tell people this before they waste gas and risk a blowout for no reason.. swamped you say? You had one vehicle up on a lift and you were just staring at the underside like you zoned out. This place is a joke.Maybe if you fix vehicles correctly and efficiently then people wouldn’t have to keep coming back for a new “bandaid” backyard fix.There’s tons of actual reputable shops that don’t purposely keep you in the dark.If they can’t be honest in person or on the phone over something as petty as times and availability then imagine what they would say or do just to make a buck. This is why they suggest cash so you can’t stop payment for bad service.

Steve Kemp runs a good shop. Better, he has great mechanics who know what theyre doing. Twice now Ive taken broken cars to Steve & the boys, and both times Ive had quick response, and a phone call to let me know the options. Once they sourced a used part at a 1/4 of the cost, and the total cost of the analysis, phone call, installation and testing...was half an hour.Reliable, honest, quick response, great hours, fair pricing, and nice guys too. Kemp will get all my auto repair business in Wausau. Oh, and they open early and stay open late too..what not to like?

I have been using Kemps for years for all my service work. Oil changes, tire rotation, battery service, etc. I trust them fully, they are great guys to work with and always friendly with wonderful service on my autos.

They took on a very frustrating job (needed locking lug nuts removed that had their key misplaced) and completed it quickly and for a very fair price. Would highly recommend!

Needed a new battery, they came out to my house jumped the car and I drove to the shop then they replaced the battery and cleaned the post connections for me. Reasonably priced as well and good service.

Honest service. I feel taken care of when I have any care issue.

They dont torque there lug nuts, a $20 tire ended up costing me $150 in damages. They dont care about customer safety this could have gotten someone killed.

Were from out of town with a flat in winter. Steve came to our aid with an air bubble that got us to the Kemp station. New tire on for less than we expected and out in under an hour. Thanks Steve for making our vacation crisis turn into only a hiccup!
