Carter was fantastic and super helpful. He spent the better part of 3 hours going over absolutely everything with us. We got 2 new phones and 2 Samsung watches. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

The rep was very rude. No eye contact, spoke to fast for us to understand, when asked to repeat rep got annoyed each time. Was not on customers agenda, but more on his. At the end we got what we went in for. To be honest if his suppose to represents the face of AT&T customer service, that location has a lot of work to do.

I wanted to give Tony Pollard a HUGE shout out on here and he better be recognize by management or whoever would be higher up. They need to know how truly amazing this guy was in helping me out today. He spent hours with me in store today to fix my account, and regaining cellular network on both my phone and watch I recently purchased. Before him, I spent all day, the day before dealing with att customer service which ultimately wasn’t fixed over the phone. Which was so frustrating! Tony immediately took action and was EXTREMELY patient through this very long process. He took his time and explained everything to me what was wrong, and what he did to fix it. I highly recommend him if you can get service from him. I understand it’s based on who’s available in store. But if you get the opportunity for him to assist you, you are in excellent hands! Thank you so much again Tony!

My daughter decided to upgrade phone. In the process Gabe scratched the new phone. Tony the manager did not want to help, sent us to loyalty AT&T. We called and they said store was responsible. We went back, they finally got out a new phone. Tony said he should charge us a restock fee for $55. Excuse me, you AT&T scratched an $1100 phone. Tony claimed he could not credit me any dollars after wasting 6 hours of time. Unbelievable that the manager of the store blank face lies to your face. I called AT&T loyalty and they explained the manager, aka Tony could credit us for our time. After 15 years of being a customer that is how I get treated. Will find a new AT&T store or maybe a new carrier you cares about customer and not just sales.

11/04/2021 Recently had a very pleasant experience at the AT&T store on Rib Mountain Drive in Wausau.. I had the pleasure of being helped by an associate known as Michelle Smith (Shelly). She spent close to 2.5 hours helping to open a new account, link 2 phones to one account, update the software on both phones, port my landline over to cell phone, advised on what accessaries would be best and answered all my questions with dignity and respect. She never became frustrated nor impatient thru the whole process. While Shelly was working on my requests I was able to observe how other associates handled other customers. They greeted each one as they entered and told them how many were ahead of them. When they got caught up the available associates waited by the door for the next customer to enter. They did not go to their cell phones to entertain themselves during these momentary slack periods. Truly a world class staff second to none. Going forward I would definitely return to the Rib Mountain stores for all my cell phone needs.Ken / Butternut, Wi.

My son and I only went here for an upgrade. The door greeter/name taker was fine, but the entire time there was a person just wandering around doing nothing at all. 3 people were assisting customers. I dont really understand how 1 person can walk around, and never assist someone or at the very least get them started. I was first on the board, with 4 people behind me. I wonder how long they had to wait around. The person wandering around I would assume was some sort of manager. Horrible service when 5 people are waiting around for assistance. Seems very inefficient to me. Perhaps the Schofield location is better managed. Doubtful, but perhaps.

Went in looking for help with a mifi I bought that uses an at&t sim. I called at&t and they verified everything with my account and number...so its a hardware issue. I took it to the store hoping someone might know something about the device and be able to figure out why it was not working. Associate who helped me asked for the phone number for it which i didnt bring but as i said it wasnt anything to do with my account i had already verified it. Guy made fun of me that i didnt know the number...when in reality he obviously didnt know his A from a hole in the ground when it came to wireless internet devices. This is not the first time i have run into this level of rudeness out of this store in particular

We purchased new phones and went to have them activated and the representative we had was so rude and would not transfer our basic information to our phones. We asked several times for him to help us and he said was NOT his job to do this, and we can you tub it or Google to figure it out. Yet the representative helping the person next to us explained that it would take some time to transfer their information. Yes we can get calls and we have all 5 family member’s person information on these phones . We are so dissatisfied with the service we received. The last time we got our phones and they were 100% professional and helpful and transfer everything we needed. We drove over hour to be treated like this is sad. Now we are working with ATT and Apple to have them help fix the mess this person did to a brand new phone. This person should be terminated.

Customer service has never been AT&Ts strong point, which clearly has not changed. Gabe totally messed up what I was trying to purchase and didnt apply my 50% off discount. I inquired about using the discount with the buy 2 get 1 free and received no answer. Then he and some other associate spent a seemingly long amount of time talking amongst each other instead of to me about refunding me my money and applying the discount to the items I actually intended on buying.I would not recommend coming to this store at all. I was definitely prepared to return all of the items and leave with nothing, due to the awful service.

This store is sales only. Not customer service. I have a warranty claim on a very expensive phone, which I purchased there, and all they did was dial AT&T customer service on their phone where I wasted and hour before being directed to the phone manufacturers warranty service department for another hour. The phone has to be sent in for warranty repair but AT&T doesnt offer loaner phones so I have to go without for at least 2 weeks. I also have insurance on the phone but those claims arent handled locally and I would still have to wait even after paying the $200 deductible.Local customer service was nonexistent. Theyre losing a long time customer.

Carter appropriately intervened when I was working with one of his reps (since the reps customer service attitude was less then desirable). While he pointed out that the reps info was accurate. He took me over as a customer and was successful in retaining my business and selling me a phone while keeping an eye on his staff. You should consider him a valued employer.

Overall poor customer service here. Gabe was helpful with my phone purchase. A woman consultant however instead of giving me a verbal response to a question I had she just shook her head no. Mark was very impatient about questions I had regarding my new device. Riley failed to accurately update the account owner on my account and not properly add an employment discount on behalf of the other individual on my account when all along I had an employment discount and they claimed that I didnt. The weston store has 1/3 of the people then Wausau and they walk circles around them in customer service.

Always a hit or miss going here. Unfortunately, theyre convenient.. My spouse goes through them, which is the only reason I come here.Staff is always distracted unless they know for a fact they have a sale. It baffles me that they can figure out a phone.. But cant understand what a power cord is. Or which is the correct one for a specific phone.

Worst customer service ever by salesperson and assistant manager Matt today.Been a loyal AT&T customers for over 10 yrs and currently have 8 lines and spend about $300 a month with AT&T.Attempted to drop off an old phone as we recently purchased a new cell phone from them with their upgrade promotion. This phone was agreed upon for exchange previously and when I went to drop it off they refused to honor their word/contract stating that bc there was cosmetic damage on a corner /bumper of the phone (scratch) they would not accept it. Tried to explain the situation and felt as though employees at this location were very condescending and difficult to work with.Left this location with no resolution after spending significant time there and headed to AT&T Weston where we were treated really well and the entire exchange took about 10 minutes at most, zero issues.Would not recommend a visit to Rib Mtn AT&T if you value customer service and respect.

We went to the store in Rib Mtn today to change from a different carrier. Jason helped us from the get go, with Carter offering backup. Our needs were a bit different because one of our family members is in a different state.Jason and Carter were a huge help getting our account up and going, as well as getting the phone for our out of state family member sorted out. They both talked to the different stores out East, and talked the employees at the store out East about what needed to be done to get that phone switched over. They even had to teach them over the phone on how to do some of the work.Neither one lost their patience, and even interjected humor, over everything that had to be done to help our family.

Can’t honestly say enough about Carter and Riley from AT&T Rib Mtn. I had a complicated situation in need of a resolution and many questions to ask. I moved to a location without any real Internet options. I work from home and needed help. Thanks to Carter and Riley I am up and running. They are both very Informed, calm and extremely willing to do whatever it took to get me answers and service. Carter who is the assistant store manager, and Amanda (both were Instrumental in the sales today) went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out. They were informative, educational and professional. Initially I was not interested in switching plans. I thought I had done enough research on the different plans AT&T offers to know that I didn’t want to switch. However, after Carter explained the new AT&T unlimited elite plan, it not only made sense to switch but it cost virtually the same price per month! I have to admit I was surprised by that. So we switched our plan. We also closed the deal on an upgrade for my wife to an iPhone XR only to find out when I got home that she changed her mind and wanted the iPhone XS. I called Carter back and he said that it would not be a problem and he would be happy to work out switching to the iPhone XS. During our interaction Carter and Amanda both stressed that they were more concerned about keeping us as an AT&T customer than they were about anything else. I said that that is a wise way to look at things from a business perspective and really appreciated their attitude. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Carter and Amanda went above and beyond trying to solve my familys complicated issue of finding internet in a very remote area where its hard to find a carrier that can provide internet or phone data, let alone both. Carter even went as far as loaning his phone to our 2 year old son to keep him occupied watching videos while we were deciding which option to use. They were very knowledgeable about all the options available and got us into a plan that cost half as much as the plan that we walked into the store thinking was the best option. We would highly recommend them to anybody looking at switching plans or just trying to reconfigure your plan for a better deal!

I recently tried to upgrade my phone in this store and the customer service person that approached me informed me that they did not have an Iphone 12 Max Pro in the store. Kind of shocking considering all the surrounding stores did. Furthermore, the agent did not offer to order one or try to get from somewhere else. I was not impressed to say the least. I gave this review 1 star only because Google requires something. If I could have given it a zero star rating I would have. I have since visited the ATT store in Rhinelander WI and it is a completely different experience. The Manager there, Travis, is beyond helpful which is refreshing in this day and time. If you are looking for competence please go there.

Two times, we had such a great experience with Tony W! He was so helpful when we came in to get a new plan for our family. He really listened to what we needed and worked with us to get us all up and running on new phones.Today, several weeks later, I stopped in with a technical issue on one phone. In 5 minutes, he fixed the problem that I had spent several hours trying to fix on my own! Even Apple support could not fix the problem. I was so thankful to see Tony when I walked in today!! We went when it was during the week so it was not so busy. The employees are very laid back and helpful. Not at all pushy or trying to upgrade the phones. My only dislike about the store was the chairs. They were made for tall skinny people.

One of the most exceptional customer service experiences we have had!! We worked with Anthony P to switch multiple lines to AT&T (something I was not looking forward to). However, Anthony made it not just a good experiece, but a great experience. He problem-solved a tricky situation, double checked to make sure we received every possible discount, and was readily available (by text!) to answer all of our questions. He even responded on his day off. We were extremely impressed with his product & plan knowledge, and his desire to go above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied. If you need a new cell phone, Direct TV, or just better cell service - stop at the Rib Mt AT & T store and ask for Anthony. He is amazing!

Brought in a phone from a competitor company (didnt know before I purchased it off line) the store manager (Sean) helped reset the factory settings and get it up and running on AT&T towers. Could have easily said he couldnt do anything. greatly appreciated the honest help and diligence from the manager! Will absolutely be a returning costumer!!
