The two stars are for the actual reception/service of the phone. My experience with the employees was very good. Pleased with everything except the cellular service.I have had Sprint for about 3 years and with the merger of T-Mobile I figured the service would be better.I upgraded from an Edge S7 to an S21 5g and my Husband has an S8 plus. We can be in the same room sitting side by side,He has service, I do not.Is it the actual phone OR is it T-Mobile???Very disappointing.Am looking at other carriers...

What can I say about Alex, he knocked it out the park with his knowledge in helping us out with questions and really put us at ease. When it came to setting up our phones and making sure everything that was on our old phones was flawlessly transferred to our new phones. Stopped, tried to get a new phone for my 88 year old mother-in-law while in town from 405 miles away, they didn’t have any phone in stock to meet her simple needs, said they’d call us back in a couple hours, never did, never called the next day, I called back, and they simply would not help me unless I came into the building. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Its pretty pathetic that the staff here have to try to entice new business by lying about how another national carrier in town would have no coverage outside of the state of Wisconsin that is just stunning that staff would be trained to say thing like that to not only bad mouth another company but just blatantly say false information baffles me think your company bas a whole should maybe take a look at themselves and their staff and do some retraining or letting go.

Trent & Alex (Along with everybody there really) are genuinely awesome people, theyll spend all the time they have available to help you and make sure your problems are fixed. Big kudos to Trent especially for helping me out when there was a problem returning a phone. He was a lifesaver when it came to resolving the issue.Definitely one of the best cellphone stores Ive been to in a very long time. Would recommend anyone come here for their purchase or if theyre seeking help. As theyll 100% get a great experience here. Its one of the stores where you can count on coming in and having your problem get fixed, or at the very least know what or where you can go/do to get it resolved if they cant help with it.Thanks again for getting that return resolved for me. This is the worst cell phone company I have ever had. This company does not back up anything they put in writing on their own contracts. The service is absolutely terrible. This company also charges you for mysterious fees and they have no actual record of where your money goes. My fiancé has been on the phone with them more hours than I can count and they never have a straight answer on any of our inquiries as to where all of this money goes that we pay and why the service is so terrible. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY WORST SERVICE EVER. They’ll rip you off every way and chance they have an opportunity too.

I went here to return a phone I had just bought but didnt care for. Due to telesales policy corporate was not going to let me leave with the phone I wanted. I was going to have to settle for something I did not want. Alex, Marty and Logyn were super helpful. I ended up being there a good 3+ hours while they spoke with corporate and got the run around but they managed to get me the phone I wanted in store that day and were super friendly to work with. I drove 2 hours, spent the day in store with a 4 month old baby and left with just what I wanted. They went above and beyond for me and I appreciated it so much!

My iPhone XR gave out over Thanksgiving. I went in to see what could be done and Logyn went above and beyond. She settled the Sprint “situation” that was occurring and transferred the lines into the T-Mobile. Not only did she resolve those issues but she also reduced the bill by over 1/3 and updated the devices to newer models. This store has done a 180, Logyn and the rest of the staff have been great; definitely a breath of fresh air compared to what I was used to having to go into the (formerly) Sprint store.

First and foremost, I have nothing against the Wausau store. The people working at the location have their hands tied. However, Sprint is a nightmare to deal with. We were long term customers (over 15 years). To be honest, it would have been easier to stay w/Sprint. With that said, the service wasnt anything spectacular in the Central WI area and the price continued to rise. We were somewhat forced to cancel, find another carrier, switch our lines and then, wouldnt you know it....we received a hail Mary call from Sprint customer service (coincidentally, the first time we spoke with someone who spoke clear English): we have a deal for you if you stay. The deal was attractive, but we simply dont appreciate the games. Id rather pay more and have some resemblance of being valued as a customer. Weve been loyal customers of Sprints and never were late on one bill. Unfortunate to break a long-term relationship, but the free market wins.

Trenton is calm, patient, polite and smart. He efficiently upgraded my phone on a busy Saturday morning. He also transferred all my data for me, even though he was the only sprint employee staffed that entire day. While I waited during the data transfer, I saw him multitask among customers, always giving clear, helpful answers to customer questions.

My girlfriend and I stopped in today and to my surprise, Travis, a team member there was so helpful! Hands down, best customer service in a long time! He helped us get the best deal we could and even had us leaving with free gear. I would highly recommend anyone who walks in that store to personally ask for Travis. 100% satisfaction as a customer and all around good guy. We laughed, got good deals. Received honest customer service which my husband and I really appreciated. However, I am NOT OKAY with them scanning your ID in order to log in to your account. The salesperson required that they scan my ID even though I am not a customer nor have an account there, when I was switching my husbands phone due to him being at work (we were in there the night before and worked with the same salesperson). What if Sprint becomes hacked? It is a complete invasion and violation of privacy and information.

Travis was there to help me and did a phenomenal job going through each of my phone numbers and helped me sort through which lines I needed and which to cancel. I have never worked with a more thorough, polite, professional customer service professional during my job as an executive director. I had probably the best customer of ANY store, phones or otherwise, when I walked into this store. Kyle Rusch was my Data Consultant and his demeanor was welcoming and I didnt feel like I was was talking to a used car salesman. My husband and I were ready to switch to another carrier but decided to give Sprint one more chance to keep our business. Were staying because of Kyle and his exceptional level of service. I dont understand why Sprint even has a store. You cant get any help in person. You get sent to do everything yourself either online or over the phone. Its SO frustrating and I cant get anywhere whenever I need help. What happened to going to the store when you had issues? Now you have to take care of everything on your own. You cant even call to ask questions without getting directed to a website or phone call.

I really love how i pay $260/ month and i don’t get reception anywhere. it’s amazing how my phone can’t load 30 second videos or even pictures unless it’s on wifi. sprint robs you of your money and sucks. hate it and can’t wait to switch.

Went there DEC17 with my own sprint phone hook it up with no contract.Did not have but one bar at home.Did not want there service.IT been six months now as of May 18 I pay the bill and they turn my phone on that I did not want reactivated.And charge me again with reactivation fee 3 times now.So now they say it was just suspended and I must wait for them to cancel it which would be June and have that go to my credit report.So now collection agent call me and want $162.00 and tell me pay this and we will send the deactivation notice to sprint. Ok great Ill pay 162.00 For a phone I did not use or have a contract with to be done with these dam thieves.What ya think happen...They turn it back on.

I was trying to get information about sprint service since Ive never had sprint before, and the guy with the beard and glasses was incredibly rude and snippy with me the entire time I was talking to him, and he simply couldnt seem to answer basic questions. If youre planning on stepping into Sprint, I highly recommend working with Travis Cornwall. Despite my misunderstandings of phone plans and how to work the new iPhone 6 Plus along with phone tech difficulties, Travis was very patient and went the extra mile in helping me with my service. Ive encountered other reps at this location before and they gave me an environment and work ethic of quantity over quality. Travis gives excellent customer service. Regardless if you end up joining sprint or not, the customer service provided to you from him will definitely go a long ways. =)

In an attempt to replace a defective phone I went through an extremely aggravating process dealing with Corporate. However, Matthew was able to turn a terrible experience into an extremely positive one! He provided me some of the best customer service I have received in a long time. He was patient and went more than the extra mile to ensure I left a satisfied customer - He even offered to drive to a store 40 miles away to pick up a replacement phone for me. He turned a zero star experience into a five star one!

Customer loyalty means zero at this store, in my opinion. In 10 years of consecutive service through Sprint,I was twice waited on by a representative at this store by the name of Meg. She was spectacular... knowledgeable, concerned and most importantly thorough. Considering Ive had more than 2 dozen trips to this store, being satisfied twice is not acceptable. Sadly, I dont think you can find Meg here anymore. Last week a manager by the name of Jose was successful in making me smile after another difficult battle with charges that should not have been on my bill considering I did my due diligence of asking all the right questions and given all the wrong answers. Thank you Jose. But later when I received my bill there were more charges. After trying to contact Customer Care I was told I must resolve these issues with the store. After spending more time waiting at the store I was told by the manager who sold me the package that did not have any service where it was being used, Dekergai, that Customer Care were the only ones who could help. Ironically, he told me he would see what he could do and call me by 4:30 the following day. I never got a call. Calling Customer Care again and spending over an hour on the phone with over 5 different managers at different levels, I was told again that the store had to resolve the charges. Too much wasted time and money and too many games.Purchasing a device or upgrading service is easy as pie because the folks working there, in my opinion, are more concerned about sales and not about customer service. Dont ask too complicated of questions because youll get the answers that best suit the sale. When you have to sign and accept many screens for each line affected by the transaction, READ THEM ALL, for the only rep who ever forewarned me of charges that may be incurred and time limits for return was Meg. I have added 2 lines to my account over the last year and have always been extremely satisfied with my Sprint service. Most issues I have ever had at the store I had to resolve online or on the phone through Customer Care. I will no longer upgrade any device through the local Sprint store. This review is obviously my own opinion after many bad experiences. What I know now for a fact is that you can not only get a better deal on a Sprint device elsewhere but can more than likely avoid all the hassles that come with a trip to this store.Had I kept the package I was talked into, my 2 new phones would have been free, my new device $50 and and extra $20 per month for the new device on a 2 year contract. After 2 weeks of wasting time, energy and dancing back and forth from my computer at home to the Sprint Store, my next bill is still $80 more than it should be and I never got to use any of the 3 devices. Sprint service - outstanding, but my advice is to know what you are doing before walking into this store.

Crappiest customer service. Got a rep who constantly not paying attention to you and jumps into side conversation with other coworkers. Then other coworkers trying to promote portable batteries for sale but doesn’t even know what she’s talking about! Adds in stupid comments like “yeah, whatever that is, but it’s really good” okay? Good job selling me on the product. We spent 3 hours here and left incomplete. Plans weren’t even discussed. All we knew was we had 2 phones that worked. Our rep took TWO WEEKS to get us SIM cards for our phones that we were bringing from Verizon. Had issues even getting the phones connected because our rep told us they were eligible and now they’re NOT. What a waste of my time. If they weren’t eligible, I would’ve NOT switched to sprint. They made me do the run around calls to try to get the phones activated and In the end the rep basically said “call Corp. not my problem” oh I will be calling Corp. I’m cancelling and demanding a full refund. It’s not my fault it was past the 14 day return period because your rep “ordered them” but used them for someone else, and then had to order me new ones which took up the 14 days! Shittiest customer service I’ve received. Ridiculous

I stopped into the store a few days ago and worked with a rep named Dusty. I was having a ton of problems with my old phone, he was VERY helpfull and took care of every issue I had one by one. His attitude was wonderful and he seemed truly happy to help me get my phone back to working 100% again without forcing me into a new phone. I can not say enough good things about my experience. That young should be in charge so he can teach others that share the same positive attitude!

I have been a sprint customer for 14 yrs. The service is terrible in the Mosinee area. I went to the sprint store to cancel service & they talked me into this great deal where I could get 2 new phones & my bill would drop $50 a month. They never switched my plan so for months I was paying an extra $50 per month. Sprint can not help me because i went to a store and did not contact them directly. The store rep said she would get me the credits for their mistake a month ago. Today Im told theres nothing they can do for me. I will be switching from Sprint for good! How do you have stores that have nothing to do with the company? I do believe I would not have had these problems at another store location.

Sales people were nice, I bought the iPhone 8+ with truly unlimited everything.. so far I can only use my phone for 2 gigs a month and no service 8 out of 10 places I go.. even at home I have no service.. sprint won’t do anything about it except tell me I should connect to WiFi to use my phone more.. then what am I paying a high service rate for?? This service is a joke.. if you wanna wait 20 min for your Gmail to load while sitting in downtown Wausau then it’s for you. A flip phones is more reliable and faster now how sad is that. Everyone around me has service with their carriers but I never do since the day I walked out of the store with my new phone and service. It’s been a fight everyday just to use my phone.

Usually when i go to spirit im impatient or crabby because the wait is so long n never get the help i want. Today though, after about 20 minutes of waiting TRAVIS CORNWALL came out and offered help. He was extremely friendly. I want to say he is the most helpful worker there. Hes understanding, funny, patient, looks out for you and super easy to work with. The best customer service Ive seen there. I recommend anyone & everyone to go to him with any questions or help, especially if youre a crabby customer like me and very needy. :D

Went in to add on two lines and was advertised another device, showed no interest on it got home and guess, found that device I didnt want in the bag! Now have to pay restocking fee for something I never authorized to purchase. Make sure you know what youre getting before you sign that pad or youll be in for a surprise!

I love my Sprint service, but I HATE going into this store. Most of the people cant answer your questions, and I usually get the answer of theres nothing we can do about it. I had called sprint support about my new phone and based on what I told the guy he told me to take it to the store and have them run some tests on the phone. I got to the store and when I explained the store associate told me there wasnt anything they could do. When I told the guy that sprint support suggested they run test she said again that it wouldnt matter and there was nothing they could do. He said if I continued to have problems that I should take it to Happy Mac! Can you believe that?!?! I have a new phone with protection plan and they tell me to take it elsewhere! They always seem like they are trying to rush you out of the store so they can continue the conversations they were having before you walked in, and have been very rude to my husband and I on separate occasions. I wish corporate would come in and shut them down, because they seriously give Sprint a bad name.

I have nothing but positive reviews of this place. So glad this isnt a corporate store anymore, minus the fact that they charge a fee when I pay cash for my bill. But when it was corporate, there wasnt much brains walking around. Other than that issue, service is much better, efficient and consistent. The usual ones on here complaining are probably the same who complain they have too much ketchup on their cheeseburger when going to Wendys. Get a grip people!

Absolutely disgusted by the level of service this Wausau store provided.1. 3-3-19: Partner passes away. new account set up in my name with our three kids under the account. TOLD that my partners account has been deactivated and new account established in my name. The store incorrectly set up my account so I had 4 lines under 2 different plans with a grand total bill of 388.00. I noticed it immediately upon getting the bill emailed the next day and was assured it took a few days for credits to come through. Not due until 3/26, so figure I have plenty of time to get this resolved prior to auto withdrawal taking nearly 400.00 for a monthly cell phone charge.2. Call daily and am told we are working on it and they have processed everything to make the bill correct.3. Waiting, calling, messaging, still nothing fixed. Still told that things are being processed.4. 3-18-19: My auto withdrawal takes 204.38 out for my deceased partners account that I was told was deactiviated. this is in addition to the 388.00 charge that is still scheduled to be withdrawn on 3/26. Not happy, but figure it will get credited.5. Bill still not fixed despite calling the Wausau sprint store daily and being told it takes some time to process.6. 3/25/19: Brenda tells me she will cancel my auto withdrawal so they dont take the wrong amount out.7. 3/27/19 Messages from sprint saying our accounts will be shut off due to non-payment.8. Sprint store called. Apparently everyone is out sick and will call me tomorrow.9. No calls back. call again. told there is nothing they can do. I call sprint on my bill. They tell me credits need to be processed by Wausau store. Wausau store tells me they are wrong. I end up paying 200.00 with the guarantee my phone service will not be shut off for 2 weeks.10. 3/28/19 Sprint messages saying our Account service will be shut off NOW if full balance of 188.xx isnt paid now. Son already loses his texting abilities and has no service. I pay the stinking balance and rage a little.10. Call Wausau store. There is nothing they can do.11. 4/3/19: I find 1.5 hours of my own time to call the corporate store. I am on the phone nearly 2 hours, but problem fixed. Thank GOD someone that works at Sprint is able to do their job! Still no help or call from Wausau store.Point is, if you dont want a 600.00 monthly cell phone bill, dont expect the people who were supposed to set up your deal to fix their mistakes. Make sure to set enough time aside so someone in the Philipines can help fix the incompetency of the Wausau store scamming people out of plans. Disclosure: Other than the horrible service of Wausau staff, I actually am really happy with sprint as a service. The promotions are a good deal. I have never had such horrible customer service in my LIFE! FYI. Cherlene from the Philipines is my new BFF. Apparently her and I can fix things that SPRINT Wausau says takes over a month. I wish there was an half star option for how terrible sprint is, i wouldnt recomend this provider or anything they sell to my worst enemy. Not only do i get disrespected by the employees in the wausau store every time i go there, but the brand new phone i just paid $500 for hasnt worked since day one it seems they are doing everything in their power not to acknowledge the fact i spent a lot of money on a phone i thought would last the entirety of my 2 year contract. Whats worst of all is they try and bully me into thinking i have no options because i signed a contract with them... Ill be going to at&t and will have a new provider by the end of the week. Rude, rude, rude. I do not recommend this Store. I have been a customer for 9 years and went in to upgrade 3 iphones. The day before my family heard about a special upgrade promotion and I went in to my local store to do it. Gave the guy my numbet and instantly he made remakes towards our account. Mind you we always pay on time and have never missed a payment. For the past 2 years, we have tried to deal with the customer service people and have left unhappy. The promotion was not going on anymore, but because of this guy, I walked out and went to the Stevens Point store 1/2 hour away. He verified that the promotion was not happening, but I did upgrade with him and he even stayed 2 hours past closing to help me. Worth the drive. Never again Wausau. If i ever have to go back to this store I will wait until i can work with anyone but Jennifer. I have never worked with anyone that could have cared less if they helped me or not. She wasnt rude or mean she just didnt care, she just wanted me to go away. And thats what I did, i took my phone and left feeling more frustrated than when i walked in.

Moved away from Wausau and had a bad experience at my new local store in West Bend, WI. Called the Wausau store and Leah was able to help me with my problem much faster and a hell of a lot more politely than the men at the West Bend store. Will honestly drive 2.5 hours to visit this store rather than go to the one 5 minutes from my home in the future.

I have the Iphone Forever plan, so whenever a new iPhone comes out, I can upgrade at a very small price. So I asked Travis (the sprint salesman at the Wausau Location), how much it would be extra a month and he said $6.50, which was expected since it was an upgrade. Well, just got my bill yesterday and he actually changed the entire plan and it is $80 more a month. Sounds like someone has no clue what he is doing. Also, was very rude when talking about screen protectors and how I needed to get it at the store and not somewhere else. Appleton Sprint is a lot more friendly and works with their customers and tells them exactly what they are doing. Will be going in today to talk to a manager. Very disappointed

I dread going to this store. Costumer service is horrible. They rush you and try to get you out as fast as possible. All the good employees have left. There must be a reason behind that! Poor management.

I do believe the rudest young people on the planet can be found in this store. When you walk in they make you stand and wait while they finish their purely gossip conversation with each other or their friends that are visiting. When you ask them a question they sigh and act like you are a complete idiot and bothering them. Overall I am satisfied with my voice and txt. service from Sprint, but am switching to another provider because these people are Sooooo rude.
