Let me tell you just how wonderful Glen & Pat are. My husband and I were looking for a used car for our daughter. Something safe and reliable. We drove past Lewis automotive accidentally and a car they had for sale caught our eye. We are from Southern Chesco and never heard of Lewis. We took it for a ride and loved it. It had a few minor problems but they were all taken care of immediately. We had another problem a few days later and didn’t know what to think but Glen gave us his word. Not only did they send a tow truck to us (45 mins away) and repair the problem that was a simple fix, they called several times to make sure all was well! I can’t say enough about Lewis automotive and I can understand why they have a stellar reputation. The only complaint I have is that they aren’t closer to me. This business is a true gem. Lewis Automotive has always provided excellent service for me on all 5 of my vehicles. I do most of my own automotive repairs, but still rely on shops for a/c work, state inspections, or similar. If I find a shop that I can trust, I use them repeatedly. This is a family run business (3 generations) and they rely on repeat business; the customer is always treated right. Yesterday, just before leaving on an extended car trip, I noted a noise from the front right wheel on my Toyota Highlander shortly after lunch. I called Lewis, stated my problem and concern with Glenn, who then offered to look at my vehicle on short notice. When I arrived, Pat personally road tested the vehicle with me, confirmed the noise, and immediately put the car on a lift to diagnosis the issue...which was caused by me failing to properly torque a wheel after switching out snow tires weeks earlier. Problem solved, immediately. I was out in less than 45 minutes with no appointment, a repaired vehicle, and peace of mind prior to an 1,100 mile road trip. THAT is customer service for a repeat customer. Customer loyalty works both ways. Highest recommendation.

Lewis automotive is one of the best mechanics I have ever worked with! When I was new to the area I was nervous about having to find a new mechanic, especially when I owned an older vehicle. Today I had to have my car checked out last minute and was two hours from home, so I hopped on google and found a mechanic with great reviews to call and see if I could get my car checked out. The owner told me to bring my car over and he checked it out right away for me! He showed me everything I needed to do to get my car in good shape and even took the time to write it all down for me. From a good word of mouth recommendation, I brought in a used car I was considering buying to Lewis Automotive for a once-over. They were very thorough and friendly. Glenn took the time to talk over their report, the cars sale price (and why it was too high!) and other aspects of the purchase process. He didnt try to sell me on any extra work, and the $90 for the full check was well worth it (it took about an hour). I was able to save that $$ and a lot more just by showing the seller the report and having the extra behind the scenes knowledge from Glenn.

Glenn is awesome. Back in February of 2017 I had an issue with my timing chain on my 2011 9-5 SAAB. Without hesitation Glen was able to repair my car at a fraction of what the other Mechanic charge. Not only that but he give me a loaner until the repair was done. Im back one again for another challenge that I hope (and I know that they will ) repair the necessary problem at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend Lewis Automotive. Top notch technicians and friendly service.... these guys are the best!Recently, I had a challenging suspension issue on my wifes car that I couldnt seem to get resolved. So I brought the car to Lewis Automotive to have them look at it. The mechanic as well as the owner, Glenn, both took the time to take a ride with me in the car to understand the issue. They properly diagnosed the problem, resulting in a fix requiring no parts! A lot of shops would have just thrown parts at the problem until it was fixed, which could have been very expensive. Thankfully, the mechanics at Lewis are masters at diagnosing problems and were able to find the root cause of the issue before they had to install any parts. The car now sounds great, my wife is happy and the price was much less than I expected.I cant thank Glenn and his team enough for the great work!Thank you!!!

We were away on a holiday weekend and our daughter is a student at West Chester University. She was leaving to drive to Washington DC and was only 10 minutes from school when her car died. We looked up online where we could have her car towed by AAA in the area and chose Lewis Automotive after the owner answered when we called and said hed be happy to take a look at her car even though it was a holiday weekend. He was very kind to our daughter and fixed what needed to be done in a timely manner to get her back on the road and communicated with us about the repair to authorize ahead of time. We were very thankful for such wonderful customer service and knowledgable automotive repair on such short notice especially on a holiday weekend. Lewis Automotive is a great, friendly repair shop in West Chester, PA. The staff is very passionate and knowledgable about what they do. From oil changes to computer diagnostics they can pretty much do it all. I was impressed by the level of honesty presented to me when I paid my bill. The staff will let you know what repairs were done and also what preventative repairs are needed. It is totally up to the customer to decide what actions to take and I found that very reassuring. Most repair facilities will say you need a whole list of repairs which sometimes do not need fixing at all.

Each time I take my cars to Lewis, it is a positive experience. They have a friendly and informative staff and I always feel like Im getting the best value. You cant go wrong when using Lewis.

Over the years, I have taken ALL of my vehicles to Lewis Automotive for maintenance as well as needed repair(s). My last visit was very unplanned. The tire plug broke off my tire when I stopped to fill them at a local gas station this winter. I was expecting to need a new tire.
