BEST customer service Ive ever experienced from an auto shop. Not an exaggeration! Jerry tackled my electrical problem and got my 16 Camaro SS back up and running. He continuously kept in contact with me on the progress of my vehicle. He asked detailed questions to get down to the root of the issue. He genuinely cared about my vehicle and getting it to perform the way it needed to be. He also showed concern with pricing and keeping me on budget. You wont regret taking your vehicle!

I had been having an intermittent starting problem for a few years with my 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass with LS1 engine swap. Took car back to original installer of motor and they could not find problem after several attempts. Found out about Keystone after quick Google search for automotive electrical experts in Philadelphia area. Called Jerry and he spent several minutes with me on phone to run some quick diagnostics and ask several questions. After a few simple ideas that did not work I brought car over. Jerry was methodical, very detail oriented and would not give up until he found the problem (2 separate issues actually). Both related to bad connectors which I would have never found on my own. When finished he spent much time explaining his process of diagnosis and repair. Jerry is a true professional and I admire his intelligence and organized approach to researching and repairing these complex problems. I will definitely take any vehicle back to him in future if ever needed. One happy customer!

Jerry and Jim at Keystone Auto Electrical are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and thorough. They fill a critical space within the field of automotive electrical repair. At the beginning of a trip to New England, our Subaru Outback suddenly shut down. We had it towed to a nearby dealer who did simple diagnostics showing the ignition coil fuse was repeatedly blowing. After replacing the fuse multiple times and the problem ceasing, the vehicle was returned to us thinking that the problem was fixed. One day after receipt from the dealer, the problem resumed. Not knowing where to go, we decided to try Keystone based on the information provided on their website and other Google reviews. The problem was truly intermittent and difficult to reproduce. Because of this, it took some time to find its source. Nonetheless, Jim and Jerry stuck with the project and communicated appropriately with me throughout the time the vehicle was with them. Ultimately, the source of the issue was found to be a short in the wiring harness requiring a small repair and increased insulation. This was in stark contrast to other suggestions that we should replace the alternator or ignition coil pack, which would have added significant cost and not solved the problem. In all, Keystone has fair pricing, they are honest, and they treat your vehicle with care and as their own. It may take time, but you will leave Keystone knowing that the problem was solved.

I was at the Nebraska State Fair and left to go home on Labor Day night. When I reached Illinois, my Honda Odyssey minivan died mysteriously. I had it towed a total of seven times, including two Honda dealerships. It was determined that the IGN COIL 15 amp fuse kept blowing intermittently, but no one could find the source. Well, I was stuck in 4 states. It took me 5 days to get home when it would have been 1. This is an experience that I would like to forget.Somewhere during the end of this ordeal, I found Keystone Auto Electrical and talked with Jerry. He asked me specific questions and I answered them. Even though he needed the vehicle to identify and resolve the problem, he exercised extreme patience over the phone. He truly cared about my situation and spent much time to help me.Keystone Auto Electrical found the problem in a day. This is quite impressive because nobody had a clue. This place has decades of experience and truly finds and solves all auto electrical issues. Their shop is extremely clean. I highly recommend Keystone Auto Electrical to anyone!!! Keystone is the very best. I drove 5 - 6 hours round trip from North Jersey to Pa to have Keystone fix my car. Two years ago the spoiler bar wouldn’t go down on my car and something was causing a battery drain. Two batteries later I took it to my mechanic who couldn’t find the problem. I took it to the dealership. Three days later and a good amount of money they said “we don’t know why, but if you take the light out of the trunk the drain stops and the bar goes down”. Enough money spent so I left it like that. But when it rained the ABS brake system lights and brake lights would go on. About 4 months ago the driver’s side window wouldn’t go up. I found that if I hit a bump hard enough the window would go back up again. If I hit a bump again the window wouldn’t go up and so back and forth it went. I am not kidding, I literally had to speed into potholes to get the window up, it was insane. Took it to my mechanic who said it was an electrical problem and wires in the dashboard were crossing and coming apart when I hit a bump, he wanted to take off the dashoard. I knew the problem was past him and the dealership wasn’t good either. Then the battery drain and bar problem came back, the doors wouldn’t lock, you couldn’t move the seats, the convertible top didn’t work, everything electrical stopped working. ABS brake light system and brake lights were on all the time. I knew I desperately needed a top notch electrical mechanic. I needed someone who did electrical problems only. Keystone was that place. It was the best thing I could have done. Jerry was great, he is detailed, logical, competent and he took the time to really investigate. He asked me questions followed the circuits, asked questions and always let me know exactly what was going on financially. I always knew exactly where I stood. Jerry found the problem. An electrical connector in the back wheel area was out of place and would get wet. As corrosion got worse so did the car. Jerry is a great detective. My car is working great. It was well worth the trip and I don’t think I will ever go to anyone else, they are that good.Deborah S.

The engine harness of our Acura MDX had been completely gnawed by mice in multiple locations. It was quite depressing looking at the engine. Everyone I called in the area either said the entire engine harness would need to be replaced ($$$$) or they would not take on such an ambitious repair. That was until I was referred to Jerry. Jerry reassured me on the phone that he could repair the car with confidence. So the car was towed to Keystone. Within a week, the MDX was repaired and Jerry ensured that it passed all the diagnostic and road tests before he handed over the keys. From the time I dropped off the MDX and picked it up, I knew the vehicle was in the best possible hands for the type of electrical repair it needed. Jerry is a true practitioner of bespoke auto electrical repair work. The engine harness was repaired in the most professional manner saving me $$$$ from having the entire engine harness replaced. Jerry even checked the interior wiring of the car to ensure everything was fine and the damage was confined only to the engine. Jerry has earned my patronage moving forward for all my auto electrical needs no matter how small or large. After multiple trips to the dealer, I was left with a huge repair bill that did not fix the problem and was basically told, You should just get rid of this vehicle.I called Jerry and he said, Bring your truck down and we will figure it out.The very first thing I noticed is that the guys at Keystone go over your symptoms and driving habits before they troubleshoot, not only to save you money, but to get to the heart of the problem. Jerry would always call me every few days to let me know what he found out and which options were available. Before he made the repair he explained to me what was causing the problem and why the problem had occurred. Jerry even told me that he could get working used parts to save me money. I have a 1985 Jeep CJ7 with a 92 chevy V8. Any normal “chain store” auto mechanic won’t even talk to me, and the few times I have left it with a mechanic I received a big bill and no help.I found Keystone Auto Electrical after 6 months of unsuccessfully replacing parts. It took only a day and a half for Jerry to find the issue and fix it. My Jeep has literally never run as good as it does now. But that’s how every thing ended up. How we started, that was what I found most impressive. Jerry spent at least 15 minutes on the phone with me the very first time I called and walked through what parts were in it, what symptoms I was having, and what I had replaced. He offered trouble shooting suggestions without even seeing my Jeep for free over the phone. That was when I realized I had finally found an honest mechanic. I’ve talked to other places that immediately reply with “sure just tow it in” just because they are happy to bill me for absolutely everything. I found the cost of their work totally reasonable and would do it again in a heartbeat. This is the shop you’ve been looking for.

I cold called Keystone to help me solve an electrical issue with my ABS and talked to Jim. I worked on the problem for weeks and finally was going to throw in the towel when Jim started to ask me diagnostic questions in an effort to help me get back on track. I was surprised by Jims willingness to help me. After a 25 minute conversation Jim pointed out some of my testing deficiencies which I in turn used to repair the van. It took 1 hr for me to solve the problem after Jims help. I called back to thank him. He said he was happy he was able to help me fix my Van. Then a week later Jerry called me back to thank me for calling back to report my progress. They earned no money from me to date. Their entire motivation was to help a fellow knuckle buster solve their problem. No trade secrets with these Guys. I have been in business for 30 years and have helped people out the exact same way. I figured that the good will was good word of mouth and would translate into future sales. Honest competent businessmen rely on their good work to generate income and do not need to generate sales by keeping their knowledge secret. They are proud and enjoy sharing their knowledge. My experience with them has revealed that they conduct business using the same philosophy. West Chester should cherish Keystone Electrical as an asset to their community. Jerry is the kind of mechanic that doesnt exist anymore...an honest competent one.I originally called him because of issues with my AC, he diagnosed that it wasnt a bad relay, and that it was the AC compressor. Instead of charging me an arm and a leg to replace it, he said I could install it myself and bring it back to him in order to save about $700. He was even kind enough to help me through the process. He then vacuumed and re-charged my AC system and it works perfect. In the end he saved me about $700-$800 just for being honest. On top of being a great mechanic, he is an extremely friendly guy who realizes customer service comes first. If you have any issues with your vehicle, go to Keystone Auto Electrical first and you may end up saving a lot of money. There have been two occasions within the past couple of years involving an AC issue and a Battery Draining/Dying issue. On the AC issue, a local auto dealer wanted to charge around $1400 to fix what turned out (after Jerry checked it out) to be a non issue only requiring recharging the system. After two years the AC is still working perfectly. Jerrys charge to find and fix this non broken problem was about 10% of what the Ford dealer wanted. Today I took my car over because the battery was draining/dying. Jerry checked the system and found that apparently the battery connections were loose, which was my fault as I had recently changed a battery and apparently failed to tighten the cables properly. His charge was a handshake. Its great knowing that there is an auto repair facility where you can trust the advice, the repairs, and the price charged. J. Moeller, W.C.
