I recently bought brand new rav4 prime. I asked Jesus if there were any EV rebates, you have to fill. He told me I have to do on my own. When I researched on SCE rebates. I found CALIFORIA CLEAN FUEL REBATE of $1500, that can only be done from point of sale ( by dealer). But unfortunately the dealer told me they dont participate in clean fuel program. I lost $1500 on my rebate. 😒.Do your research before purchase. Be careful. Which dealer you go to.I Give 3 stars because besides rebate service was good.

Terrible experience with service advisor Davit Metsoyan. I was charged double the price for a basic oil change service. He was condescending and very rude. Never coming back here again. Highly suggest looking at other dealerships and their pricing before coming to Envision Toyota of West Covina.

Made a purchase with Tyler and Adam on my RAV4. From beginning to end Tyler made things very easy. He was able to answer all my questions and also was ready when I showed up for my test drive. He was very professional and would definitely purchase from him again. Adam also assisted and they make a great team. No tricks or games when we showed up and they kept things quick and simple. I would rather not give Envision Toyota a star, there customer service is the worst. Made a appointment for a Tuesday, and they jokingly said we might not have the part, so maybe your car will be ready on Wednesday. Why couldn’t they say don’t schedule an appointment if you don’t have the part? Also, when I called to see if my car was ready, it took the operator over 20 minutes to go and check if my car was ready, then he picked up the phone and hung up on me. Now if my car was ready a long time ago why wouldn’t the guy have the paperwork in front of him. Oh, did I mention they said that they called my cell phone and left a voicemail; when I had nothing? Tried to call to talk to the manager, and his name is not listed in the directory, nor can you have an option to voice my concerns. I have been a longtime customer over 20 years and the best experiences with my service guy Mr. Saldana, it is time to go to Longo Toyota.

I know the process of buying a car can be stressful and time consuming but with Envision Toyota, you can sit back and relax! I called in for a specific vehicle and told them I had price that no one was willing to agree upon. Not until Emily and Tyson told me that they can do MY price for the vehicle I’m looking for. I drove a 100 miles to secure the deal and when I got there l, I was treated like family. Showed me the vehicle, the price, and the service I was looking for. I had an excellent experience leasing a new vehicle at Toyota of West Covina. The dealership had a great selection of vehicles for me to choose from and the deal I was offered was much better the the other Toyota dealers I visited. My sales person Allen is the best. He is very knowledgeable and explained to me all the options and features of all the vehicles I viewed patiently. Allen even called me the night of my purchase and the morning after to make sure the car drove and performed as expected. The finance process was easy and fast and my vehicle was washed and presented to me in showroom quality. I highly recommend Toyota of West Covina to everyone, you will be treated like VIP.I really love my new Camry :)

The General Manager Shawn created a horrible experience. He was unprofessional and extremely rude. After being there for multiple hours and starving, we thought to grab food and come back, only to have him threaten to take the deal off the table. When we returned, he raised the price and told us that if we kept shopping at other dealerships he was going to raise the price. Again, we left for a half hour to get food in our stomach after they made us wait hours!! In fact, other employees came up to us and apologized for his behavior. Apologized for a MANAGERS behavior!! In the end, he said we had to leave a positive yelp review or he wouldnt honor the deal. A true bully. I would recommend all to stay away.

If you like to fix your own cars, DO NOT BUY PARTS from Envision Toyota.For the same priced part they overcharge by 60%. This means that a part with a fair market price of $100, they will sell for $160. Avoid Envision Toyota. They also charge a 20% restocking fee for parts returns. Terrible. Customer service was subpar to say the least. I contacted this dealership in regards to a vehicle I saw listed on CarGurus to verify that It was still in stock. Their front desk representative, Emily, confirmed that it was still available. Emily and I communicated back and forth via email in discussions of price and availability. After a few minutes of communicating back and forth, I noticed the vehicle was unlisted from their website and CarGurus. Before I decided to make the commute from Los Angeles, Ca to West Covina, Ca (40 minute drive), I emailed her one last time to confirm that the vehicle was still there, although it was unlisted, and her response was, “Of course I have the vehicle! I would of told you other wise”. Sure enough, I arrive and the car was not in stock. Apparently it was “just sold.”This was a complete waste of my time! Very bad communication and first impression from this dealership.

This is the shadiest dealer. The salesman and the management are convinced they can just bend customers over and then they try to sell a car out from under another customer to us for more than $5k over the sticker price. Seriously do your research and do not let anyone here talk you into paying more. I wish it was worth my time to sue them for false advertising and potentially bait and switch. I am still shocked what an insane feeling it was leaving that dealer I needed all the hand sanitizer, and half the people working were not wearing masks.

I bring my car in for maintenance to this Toyota Service Department every time I need something done, or fixed. The staff is great and efficient. Steve in the service department always helps me out, and gets my car done quickly. Also, I work relatively close so I use the shuttle service and get back to work quickly.I always get my car back the same day, and in excellent condition! I love the customer service and have always had a great experience!

Advertised price 28K after taxes dealership add ons and a destination fee the vehicle cost over 35K. They recently bought Jeep that went out of business for the same scam operation. I suggest going somewhere. People we need to stop being suckers and stop falling for these games.

This is my account of the car buying process as I helped a friend in regards to helping him understand the dollars/numbers involved.On a car deal he received a sale offer of 19000. The dealership was almost purposefully vague on sending detailed numbers of the total cost despite multiple requests on our part to do so. But my friend still decided to go to the dealership because we decided the price seem to be decent. But I forewarned him to watch out for hidden cost when he arrives.Once my friend arrived at the dealership the shadiness became apparent. I was at home helping him via messaging/phone. The salesman presented with paper with all the numbers and there was one glaring number that had no apparent explanation. The amount was for 895. The salesman apparently did not allow my friend to take the photo of paper to send to me. but my friend found a way to do so anyway. I urged him to probe about the 895. Finally the salesman relented and told him it was the TrueCar advertising fee they are passing onto the buyer. Now that is very surprising because I have never seen any dealership that would pass on that obscene amount of fee onto a buyer in such fashion. I found this ludicrous.At this point I advised my friend that this is likely a bad business dealing and to walk away. The salesman probably noticed my friend was getting cold feet and came back with another offer. This was to give additional 1000 off (which is probably their attempt to salvage the situation without losing any real money) to seem like my friend was getting another 100 off the price (they were still charging 895 but giving 1000 off additionally). However in the process they said they had to raise the interest rate from promised 1.9% to 2.9%. While they may have tried to pass this off as looking magnanimous, but I see this as bait and switch. Because in the course of the loan most people will certainly pay more in interest than the 100 of additional savings they initially reaped.This was not yet over. They decided to change up the offer likely in their favor by deciding not to give 1000 but also not to charge 895 TrueCar fee. But they will have to go with 2.49%. At this point it was getting ridiculous. The friend ended up signing and purchasing the car because he was getting quite exhausted by this point. And he justified his action by thinking he didnt want to waste any more time and effort.Ultimately the dealership decided to wave 895 fee but still raised the interest to 2.49%. Talk about a roller coaster ride of offers.Perhaps this was overall a decent deal at the end of the day. But the way these dealer folks went about their dealings is quite unusual/unethical and does not sit well with me.Those of you who are thinking of shopping at this dealership, keep in mind that this can and likely will happen to you. So do your homework and go about it prudently.I will go with 2/5 only because my friend still ended up getting the car. He wasnt very happy with it but did it out of necessity. But the overall experience and the unusual circumstances call for deduction of 3 stars. If they follow up with good after service perhaps the rating will change for the better.

Called their sales department several times, no body answered, and voice mail was full. Called their service department they answered right away and asked if I could be transferred to sales, so they transferred me, and still no one answered. I resorted to texting. A guy named Jeremy texted me back. I asked about the availability of a certain car in their lot. He assured me the car is still available. We negotiated a price through texting. I informed him that I needed to know prior to coming in since I was going to be driving over 120 miles to see it. Everything seemed good until I get a text the next day telling me the car just sold. Luckily I hadn’t started driving yet. This place has the worst service ever.

Would just give them 0 start out of 10... Went in on weekends to check out the car and the price for 2020 Toyota Camry. I found then through Costco Auto and a Sales person name EDDIE LUCIO contacted me and we arranged to meet on friday noon. When I went in he was busy so I had to wait abit but that was fine. While we were talking about the car and the price he was busy with his phone. Not sure if thats ok on their side but you have a customer in front of you but you dont even care about the customer infront of you. I was pretty disappointed so I told him I have another appointment on another dealer, so I would comeback. After I said I would comeback he got mad and start talking to me like I did something wrong. As a sales person thats not right. Sales person should treat others better that the others feel good so they could buy the car. But EDDIE was all busy with his phone and getting mad at customer. Not sure why they are keeping him but try to stay away from this place or HIM!

Recently went to have my Corolla oil change at Envision. Prior to my visit, I called and asked the service rep if they wold honor a coupon from Glendale Toyota. The rep said yes and my vehicle was serviced. Just before leaving, I made another appointment to have my wifes Prius which has been serviced since we purchased back in 2005. I asked the rep if we could use the same coupon since the Prius used regular oil. Again, he said yes. Few days later it was time to take the Prius for the oil change. When my wife arrived, she was told the service rep was off for the day. My wife wanted to make sure the coupon would be honored and to her dissatisfaction, the service rep assisting her said they do not honor coupons from other Toyota dealerships, however he would have to ask his manager. Few minutes later, he notified my wife that they would not honor the coupon. We have been taking our vehicles to that facility since 2005 and were very surprised at the response. Extremely upset, my wife left. I called Puente Hills Toyota and asked if they would honor another Toyota dealership coupon. They responded yes; my wife took the Prius and had it serviced there. Puente Hills Toyota will now have my business.

I finally got the trunk that I dream, a limited Toyota Tundra. I have always wanted this truck since I graduated in 1995. Now I finally have it and with it all amazing safety features. I even paid the additional $3,000 protection plan because I really want to keep this truck for a long time. From purchase in September, as a Birthday gift for me, I had to take it for service in February, mileage 970. Oil change, multifunction test, rotate tires, and recall service for the vey first time. The was setup to my standard and I was very happy driving it when I purchased. After the service was done I noticed something was not working the way it was before the service. The front and back of the censors are not working, so I contacted Toyota service department about my issue. Had to schedule a new appointment and have them take a look it. After the second service, they said that the programs was updated and your censor was changed, so service employee said the warning and protection censor will base on the speed that I am driving. Before, the censor was warning me if I was getting too close to anything, cars or other obstacles regardless of speed. This was great feature, because the truck is huge and occupy a lot of space, so the warning was very useful. Now with the updated program, the safety features has change. If you are not driving at a certain speed, censor will not warn you. I even showed it to the service department and I was really close to a park car. Explanation of service department, this was the new upgrade of the program. I see the upgrade of the speed situation issue is important but if this effect the other features of the protection how can this be an upgrade? What happened to my protection, my insurance is going to love this. I am now disappointed with my Truck and Toyota. I think I over spent. Total waiting hours 4 hours on a non appointment, and waiting for explanation with schedule appointments 3 hours for second service.

We have a lease that matures soon. We had been in contact with the finance department. I was told to bring the car in for an inspection. I was told it would take 30-35 mins max. This was on Monday June 29, 2020. I arrived at around noon. I was told the car could be considered certified pre-owned if I purchased two new tires. This is during covid times and I was shocked to see 90 percent of the employees walking around without masks. They would gather closely in groups, congregate, approach customers with either no mask at all or masks down on their chins. One man approached me and I asked whats the point of having a mask dangling on your chin? He got an attitude with me. They had the popcorn machine shut off with a sign that read no popcorn for health reasons I ask whats the point if everyone is walking around without masks. I was told they would try and make an exception for me regarding the tires. I requested to get tires on my own and send the recipient and photos of the car with new tires as proof. They did not accept that. I told them I didnt want to have to come back with the car to show the new tires. I was not happy that I spent two hours there after I was told it would be a quick visit. I was not happy about the careless practices that are unsafe with no masks and no distancing.I asked for my keys and told them I would not be returning.Upon waking out I witnessed the general manager sitting at his desk in close contact with another employee. The employee was giving the manager a back massage with an electric massager. I was not going to say anything at first. Then I thought to myself, massage places are not open yet.I stood in the doorway and told the general manager I am amazed at the things I saw here todayHe asked what amazed you?I said first it was most of the employees walking all over without masks, the lack of distancing, they approached me without masks, and now people giving each other massages all during covid timesHe directed the man to stop the massage. I walked out utterly disgusted.If you care about your health DO NOT go to this Toyota dealer.

I had email correspondence with Internet Manager Eddie including the link to the 2020 Highlander Hybrid and the “$47,876 + tax, registration fees” price quoted, I thought we handled the negotiating and now I just had to deliver payment... I was wrong and instead about to enter the gauntlet! Imagine my shock when I was told the Highlander I wanted was a hot commodity and the best “deal” I could get was $55K…original MSRP listed for this vehicle on the internet and posted on it was $50,292, now suddenly with check in hand it will cost me over $7k more than originally quoted?! I asked to speak directly to the Sales Manager, in steps Hiep Dinh which once he hears the details to my frustration, reprimands Eddie publicly for not getting Hiep’s prior approval for the rate he quoted me. Hiep now stepping in as the good cop wants to make it right and honor the price quoted. He came to my rescue and confirmed he would honor the original quoted price $47,876, but for them to make money off this sale the finance team would match my 2.99%APR so I could finance directly through them. When asked why his monthly dues were $880 vs. $660 through my Credit Union, he informs he added “$2599 extended warranty and $895 for the paint protective film added to all vehicles”. Thanks to my research, I knew this was not an added option on the Highlander I was there to buy, confirmed by it not being listed on the vehicle options and this option could be purchased on Toyota.com for $395! I confronted Hiep, acknowledging I was aware of the “Bait-n-Switch” and now “packing the contract” tactic he was opposing on me and told him I would buy the vehicle for now the 3rd time quoted price of $47, 876(T&R) but I will use my own financial provider. He left telling me he had to confirm with the Finance Manager. Up walks an arrogant and condescending attitude too big and proud to sit at the table with me, turning his chair to face out towards the car lot avoiding eye contact and possibly a failed attempt to intimidate me. He tries to tell me Eddie made a mistake in his quote, I told him that shouldn’t be my problem. I told him they all wasted enough of our time and I wanted a simple yes or no if they were going to accept my check for the price Eddie and now Hiep quoted me? He told me to give him 2 minutes. He walked away to join the flock of salesmen all gathering to watch my children and I center-stage be manipulated with the laundry list of car dealer scams. Ten minutes later, it was clear they had been dangling a carrot in my face with no intent in selling me the car. After 2.5 hours of this charade (a test drive not even included) I decided to teach my children the value of walking away and not contributing my hard earned cash to these fools who lack a conscience. In due diligence, I’m making the Leadership of Envision Motors aware of how their company name is being represented and their customers treated. If Leadership is cognizant and supports the dishonest sale scams, I congratulate you on hiring the right staff. If Leadership of Envision Motors is truly committed to their mission posted on their website to “provide the best retail experience for all our customers” with a “focus on client satisfaction” through “best practice”, you will care to understand the contributing factor to my repulsive experience is a result of failing at the goal to hire “ethical individuals”. If Leadership is appalled knowing bait-n-switch tactics continue to be practiced at this location even after in 2016 being exposed by Federal Trade Commission for “using a wide range of deceptive and unfair sales and financing practices”, I welcome the opportunity to further discuss my experience.

Service drive was well-organized and dropping off car painless. Several people greeted me; I was shown to new Starbuck coffee machine and offered tea or coffee. After short wait a shuttle took me home. I was kept informed as to car repair and taken back for car the following day. Everything was problem free. We had a great experience here st Penske Toyota. Bought an Audi from the used lot, saw it online. They honored the online price, fixed the headlight that was out and even a little dent on the fender. Which is above and beyond with a used car. Everyone there was super friendly and kind. I would without hesitation recommend this place and our salesman Arthur Quintero to everyone!

Horrible, I went in there with my wife looking to trade our 2014 Camry in and the sales man named Armin was what he appeared to be and he listened to me. The souring experience is when his sales or used car manager or finance manager Sean got involved and he kept wanting to run our credit and I told him you can answer my question about the trade without having to run our credit and he became very hostile and argumentative when we wouldnt let him. Then he said the car was only worth $9,000 and I showed him that car fax said $13,260 and Sean felt the need to make the sarcastic comment maybe you should call them and have them buy it thenVery low class low quality experience. I feel bad for Armin because he seemed to legitimately want to help and then everything went down hill with Sean.I dont recommend this place for anything.

I would like to say that my previous experience with this particular dealership was very inviting, very comfortable and effective.I just purchased a 2018 Tundra after having. Hummer H2. TL;DR Do not visit this location. They are manipulative and conduct dirty business. I will not be visiting this location again.First and foremost, this yelp page states the location is closed. It is not as I visited just this past week.I have been visiting this location for routine maintenance and service. In the past, I had received great service as well as customer service, specifically from Raul!However, upon the most recent visit, I was assisted by Manuel, and the customer service was quite terrible. I had made an appointment the day before and arrived to the appointment a few minutes earlier. I understand that often times business gets busy and customers begin to pile up, but I had waited to just even speak to a representative for at least 30 minutes although I had an appointment. Not a single individual approached me and inquired on my needs. People just kept passing by and saying I would be assisted shortly. In close proximity to me, Manual is at his computer and was quite rude as I attempted to communicate with him. At the time, I had disregarded it as I fully understand how strenuous the service industry can be.After finally reaching my turn to be serviced, Manual was quite rushing through the process when speaking to me and taking his time while going through the work on his computer. Again, I considered the fact that inputting information may take some time, so I respectfully waited. When he finally returned he continued to say many confusing and manipulative things that ultimately pushed to me have my 20,000 mile service rather than my 15,000 mile service as he kept saying how my vehicle was due for that maintenance. He often danced around my inquiries and things just did not quite add up. But with much confusion, I allowed for my car to be serviced anyhow for the 20,000 mile service as he lied about my current total millage.The customer service at this location is DIRTY and MANIPULATIVE. I lost an additional service that in coupled into the purchase of a new vehicle as the representatives here will coerce, confuse, and manipulate you into ridding of services you should be receiving and attempting to get you to pay more.I will no longer be visiting this location for car service.

The only reason this place even gets any stars is because of the sales person Gary. Otherwise in my opinion the upper level staff should be given some kind of training of how to be courteous and polite to their customers. We were having some thought process over the car that we liked and ended up talking to some sales director whose name was Elaine....Super rude lady and I guess she thought that intimidation could actually speed up the sales process.It rather made us more stubborn on our choices. The sales guy was very nice and the store was good too.

2 weeks ago my husband was shopping for a used Toyota Rav4. Penske had exactly what we wanted, 2015 with only 12K miles for a very reasonable price. Thats not the only reason Im writing this review. Usually buying a car is a dreaded experience but the help we got from our Sales Person Art Q., was exceptional, friendly, no pressure, just the facts. We knew right away we could work with this person. And the Sales Team leader Danny H made us feel at home with his happy attitude and willingness to help. And the whole process was done quickly, absolutely the most pleasant experience weve ever had buying a car from any dealer. Before we went to Penske, we started out at West Covina Honda across the street. What a difference. The morale of the employees was very poor and cold. They wanted us to buy a car we really didnt like and it was obvious they were trying to unload this car for awhile. The trade in price they offered us was ridiculous and insulting. So if youre down that way to shop for a car BY PASS HONDA and go directly to Penske Toyota where you will be treated like family.

Had a recall on the electric windows. The whole experience was great. from the service department to the shuttle. The people are friendly and helpful. They provided dishonest service for me and it was a rip off. I’d have to say I wasted over $500 for a major service on my car there. The guy said I needed to change my windshield wipers because they were not factory wipers and it was part of the major service. I said that was ridiculous since I had just changed my wipers a month ago and rarely used them (so they were still in good condition). He said he had to change them anyway and I would get charged for it. I paid and saw the charge for the ridiculous factory windshield wipers, which were not cheap by the way. When I got my car back, I noticed they were still the same wipers as the ones I had put on them before I went to this place. They didn’t change my front or rare ones, EVEN THOUGH the guy said he had to change them and he said he had to charge me for them as well. Well, that stinks. Now I question whether or not they even changed my cabin air filter. I guess I’ll have to check that on my own and the mostly likely change it myself. You’re better off going to an actual Toyota dealership. It’s expensive but at least they’ll do the work they’re supposed to.

Took my truck for a recall and the 5k maintenance I had a feeling nothing was done to it. I was there for 3.5hrs and none of my fluids were touch my windshield fluid still empty!! Well sure enough 2 weeks later they called me asking to go back because my recall wasnt done right and that I need to take it again!! This is taking my time out of my busy life because they failed to do it right the first time.

Called service manager this am...was told me he needed a little more time and he would call me with an update before I went to work. No call...called in sick to work...no transportation. Thanks toyota..this is costing me more than expected. Going to pick up my car..found a more reputable alternative. Love the car...service ... much to be desired.

We had such a wonderful experience dealing with Leo, Jason and Ray (Sales Manager). We highly recommend you coming in, test driving and getting as much information as you need from these guys because they are willing to go above and beyond what a usual salesperson does. Theyre not only friendly, but very professional and welcoming. The plan was to just look at the car, but we ended up driving our brand new car home 2 hours later. I begin to loose faith in places once I get lied to, which is what happened recently. I took my Corolla in for an oil change and once that was done, they told me I had to change the front brakes bc they were at critical and wouldnt recommend that I drive off like that; also that my rotors had to be resurfaced. The total cost was going to be $472. I told them Id take a look at the brakes on my own. So I took my car to a small shop, had them lift my car and remove the tires so I could inspect the brakes and rotors along with the mechanic that was there. It was a big big lie. My brakes were perfectly fine, more than 60% left on them and nothing was wrong with the rotors. When I told the mechanic about why I wanted to have my brakes inspected, he couldnt believe that they told me that. They were trying to scam me big time. I would not recommend coming here for maintenance on your car.
