To begin, I had called days prior to be sure I would set aside adequate time to get my device fixed as the man on the phone told me it would take up to 2 hours to be fixed. Therefore on Monday October 25, I took my phone in to be fixed which is under a warranty that only allows me to attend ubreakifix for the repair, otherwise I wouldn’t ever choose this as my fixing place. I drop my device off around 11/11:15am and am told a 1:30pm pick up time. I go run some errands and come back at about 1:45pm. I wait in line, get up to the counter finally around 2:15pm and am then told that my device “is next to be fixed”. I had to work at 4pm therefore did not have time to wait around what could be at least another 2 hours, as the male stated that they go on lunch break from 2pm-3pm. Therefore I asked for my device back as I had to work and did not trust them with it for the night until next day. He hesitated as if he did not want to give the device back to me yet I explained over and over that I didn’t trust the company therefore I would not leave it for next day pick up and I didn’t have time to wait any longer. While waiting to be helped, there was a male individual ahead of me who had dropped of a google brand phone in which he had come to see if the repair was finished. He was told that the screen was replaced but that per google they needed to run diagnostics to be sure and then do a factory reset on the phone since there was a passcode. The male stated how when he dropped the phone off he was not told they would do a factory reset. Therefore he deleted the passcode to avoid the reset, BUT, had he not gone to the store to check on his device, the worker would have done a factory rest on the phone without the customers consent and without even bringing this up as a potential when it was dropped off. He was then quoted another 1.5 hours until the phone would be ready. I understand how understaffing works but you can’t continue to give improper time frames and then expect people to stay. As I left due to this factor. The individual who was working was named Drew and seemed as if he barely knew what he was doing, while also training someone at the same time. Very bad at communication and explaining to people from what I noticed within myself and how he interacted with other customers.

Very professional, detailed and clear on what their job is. Friendly and the place was clean.

The store was closed for lunch until 3. I showed up at 2:45 and waited until 3:05. Then he told me that it would cost more in labor and parts then my Samsung gear S3 watch was worth. Which is in almost perfect condition. I even had the new replacement back glass but apparently they cant use parts you bring in. What I am missing is the triwing screwdriver needed. Thought it would be a piece of cake for these guys. Apparently not.

I had my Galaxy S10+ display repaired here through Asurion. Service was excellent, and the repair work and parts are top-notch. As someone with fairly extensive electronics repair training and experience, I can tell you that its obvious that the technician, Drew, pays attention to detail and cares about his work. I wouldnt hesitate to make the drive again, if the need arose.

I had a smashed screen get fixed here. It was good for a few weeks then had an issue. I called them up unsure if it was a quality issue from the job they did. They told me to bring it in and that was likely. It turned out that I tiny sliver of glass had worked its way into the screen and was causing the problem. They fixed it under warranty without question. Everyone I encountered there was terrific. I highly recommend using their services.

Horrible! The representative was rude did not take the chance to listen to what was wrong with my device. Has the nerve to be rude when discussing what happened to my device as if he would have known. Worst service ever. I will not be going back. Needs to learn how to talk to customers respectfully.

Phone was not done for 4+ hours after we were told it would be done. No phone call to let us know. When I arrived to pick it up they yelled from the back room be there shortly instead of someone greeting us...

Excellent customer service. Went into have my iPhone screen repaired and found out my screen saver was broken not my phone screen, The employee applied the screen saver I had brought with me at no charge! I highly recommend this establishment because of their customer service!

The customer service is great. I had an emergency appointment to repair my phone but it started working an hour before it. Still i came to ubreakifix just to make sure that this was not a repititive issue, they explained me well how this could have happened. Also performed some quick checks and tests, explained the process. Charged me nothing as phone was working and i came out with a relief and information. I will recommend this place, if your phone is broken they can fix it quickly.

My Pixel 4a needed a new screen after dropping it on the sidewalk. Very simple process of scheduling a time to drop it off and it was ready when promised. They uncovered another problem with my phone and thoroughly explained my options on how to fix it if desired. Appreciated zero sales tactics, real easy to communicate with, and would go right back for any follow-up fixes.

I took my IPhone 8plus in because there was a vibration sound every time I pushed the home button, the gentleman at the counter was very kind and helpful, he said to give 30 minutes and it should be fixed by then. I walked in 30 minutes later and my phone was fixed, the gentleman said it only took them 3 minutes to fix it. So because it wasn’t much time to fix it I didn’t owe anything, I highly recommend this store, even if I did have to pay their fees are less than I’ve seen anywhere else.

They were quick on fixing my phone. The port where you plug in to charge your phone kept telling me that it was wet. But it wasnt wet. My phone never has gotten wet. I had to use a wireless charger and that is so inconvenient when you want to play on your phone.

I was completelly impressed by their attention to customer service/satisfaction as it It is so rare these days. What was most impressive was how how this rep. handled an insanely difficult and verbally combative customer who was demanding their cracked iPhone to be repaired under Samsung care insurance....The store could not repair due to manufacturer liability restrictions. I was so polite and didnt want any trouble I left.I ended up shipping my phone to Samsung for repair. I so glad some peoples had good experience but me, this place is a bad news. So RUDE STAFF. Customer service started off strong when I brought my phone in, but I had to come back several times and was left without a phone for two days. Three hours after I brought my phone in, I came in to pick up my phone from just getting the cracked screen repaired the tech said that he damaged the motherboard and then said that if people could stop interrupting him he could get it put back together quicker. He told me to come back in another two hours. I came back three hours after and another guy came out and said that it still wasnt back together and that the techs quit for the night at 6:12... They close at 7. So then he told me to come back at three the next day. Im just glad that I had insurance on my phone so that they could replace it.

Great job fixing my phone. I traveled 2 hours to this store and passed time in town while they did the repair. Docking a star because I brought it in at 12:30pm and they said it will be done by 4:00pm. I called at 4:30 and they said 30 more minutes. I show up 45 minutes later and they say they just need 20 more minutes. So I stop by 30 minutes later and they still needed a few more minutes. Had they just said 6pm in the first place, I would have shown up at 6pm and gave 5 stars.

They fixed it in 2ish hours when my phone was shattered. They loved the baby and joked around and completely turned my day around.

I had my screen replaced 8 days before I noticed the corner was cracked. I didn’t drop it or misuse it in any way and I have NEVER had a cracked screen. I went in to the store on Mills Civic only to be told that their warranty doesn’t cover additional damage. Apparently low quality screens don’t matter and will not be covered. I will never let them touch my phone again.

Both of the people I worked with were incredibly kind and helpful. They replaced a destroyed screen of a Note 9 and the phone acts like it is brand new. Would definitely come here again.

I have to say, David G. is completely service oriented and 100% wonderful. I broke my pixel screen and didnt want to send it in to the insurance company-- he gave a phone number to the insurance company and said if they wouldnt fix my situation hed gladly do it for me-- it ended in the insurance company giving me an upgrade. I would never had such a good day without him. Sometimes a simple gesture and offer of goodwill is better than any service preformed. I will gladly give him my business anytime.

My wifes Galaxy S7 Edge had the screen go out this past Friday (11/13/20). Trying to remove the battery from the phone myself (not the best idea) I ended up breaking the back glass, and then nicked the battery trying to get it out which caused it to bloat up and get very hot. I ended up dropping the phone off at this uBreakiFix location in West Des Moines. I cannot remember the employees name but he was extremely helpful despite having to work short-handed. He initially gave me an estimate of 5:00PM to have it fixed and I dropped it off at 11AM. I told him to take his time. 5:00 rolled around and I hadnt heard anything so I figured if it went past closing time Id just pick the phone up on Sunday and give these guys time to make it right again.Much to my surprise I got a phone call at about 7:28PM. uBreakiFix is only open until 7 which is why it was surprising to me. The employee informed me the phone was fixed, fully functional, and ready to be picked up. Despite me having a 20 minute drive over from the Southside he waited for me until I got there and then shared some helpful information with me as well prior to ringing me up.Honestly youre not going to get better customer service than that. I technically couldve fixed this phone myself, but did not have the luxury of time, and to be quite honest these phones are kind of a pain to work on, so I let the pros do it and Im glad that I did because the phone came out looking like a brand new phone that had just been taken out of its box.The employee (special thanks to you dude, much appreciated!), stayed over past closing just to ensure I got the phone that night. That was awesome, and very much appreciated. His attention to detail was impeccable and he was very professional through the entire process.I would definitely recommend their services if youre in a pinch and need your phone fixed. These guys know what theyre doing.

I went into the store at noon with battery issues, I told them that i spoke with Google Pixel support and that i was told it was under warranty still. My phone has a few scratches on the screen, didnt think it was a big deal. The associate took my phone, got information of what was wrong with it, looked it over (important for later), and told me it would be about 2-2 1/2 hours. Easy enough. When i came back, i was informed that they did not have the parts to fix it because another store came and stole all their parts. Not only did they not have the parts, but i was told that because there were scratches that it was no longer under warranty. 2 1/2 hours later. They did not collect a call back number, they didnt inform me about not having the parts, they didnt tell me about the warranty being voided. They wasted 2 1/2 hours of my time because of their unprofessional behavior. I was skeptical prior to coming in, and my suspicions were confirmed after this interaction. I will not be a returning customer to this racket.

I absolutely shattered my phone, to the point I could see through it, this morning. After a friends recommendation I tried uBreakiFix and they had my phone fully repaired before noon. The associate, David, was very informative and helped educate me on my repair options. I opted to wait in-store and received my fully repaired phone within an half hour. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the convenience. David was awesome to work with and has a natural talent of helping others. I will not go anywhere else for my phone repair needs.

Also they are very honest and will tell you if the amount of money to fix your phone is actually worth it, or if its better to just buy a new one. 50th and Mills Civic Pkwy location. Staff that answered the phone was unprofessional and said that he hated to get parts for LG phones. Asked that I bring the phone by for him to look at. I arrived in a few minutes. Person at desk didnt agree with what I was told on the phone so he went to the back and the person I talked it came out. He had been very rude on the phone and worse in person. Looked up parts and said it would take until 6/9 to fix it. Since my phone is still working, I said I would bring it back when the parts were there. Said I had to give a $80 deposit. Got my checkbook out.... but they wouldnt take a check. Complained about people bouncing checks. So, cash or credit card. I looked in my purse but only had my bank card and dont use that for purchases. I looked through my billfold and found $80 cash and handed it to him. He put in the cash register and said I suppose you want a receipt for this. I said Of course. He stood there and looked and me for a while. Then told me he didnt like my attitude. I said he was the one with an attitude and took my money back. As walked out the door, he said I hope you have a better experience elsewhere.My advice is to go SOMEWHERE ELSE and not even try this place. Total waste of my time. The owner isnt picky about who he employs. Wonder what the owner will think of this review? Maybe there will be some improvements to the process?

No good. Unhelpful and no solutions

The Good: I do seem to finally have a fixed and functional device. The people I dealt with while incompetent were very nice. The Bad: A fix (cracked screen, part in stock) advertised to take half a day took over 10 days. They botched fixing it multiple times. The 1st time on the way home the iPad home button fell into the device because they did not apply the adhesive correctly, drove it back to fix it. They took 2 days. Then called to say it was fixed, but they broke the screen in the process of fixing the button. I immediately handed back and they had to order a part that would arrive next day to fix. For the next 5 days I followed up getting varying accounts of what was going on. Finally the assistant manager said he checked the device and nothing was wrong supposedly; drove back again to find a device that still had a broken screen. They did in fact actually fix it the following day. I cant imagine using this company if this was my phone instead of my kids iPad.

I cannot express with just words how impressed I am with these guys. When I brought in my phone they told me 2.5 hours to fix it if it was just a screen problem. It turned out to be much more serious - a motherboard issue. The employee there have me a solid recommendation to speak to my cell phone provider (I was out of warranty) that ultimately resulted in me getting a new phone for a much lower price than the repair would have been. They didnt charge me a dime and gave up some business just to help me. How many companies do that for their customers? A real class act. Im purchasing my accessories there just to support them. They earned it.Thanks guys. You saved me. 👍
