Not so much a review about the Jordan Creek store, but about Apple in general. I very recently purchased (from this store) a bran new Macbook Pro with M1 chip. Buyer beware!!!! Ive been a Mac and Apple user exclusively for the last 15 years or so. I cannot express how bad this M1 mac is. I bought it for work (professional audio, recording, live audio, Protools etc.) and it literally failed at everything that I needed it to do.Once I got back from a 7 week run on the road with a musical act, I tried to return the computer to the store, but to no avail. It was past the 2 week return window. Apparently Apple does not stand by their product anymore. They wouldnt refund me or even exchange it for a different model (with Intel chip). So I spent $1600 on a new computer that literally failed at all the work tasks that I really needed it to do and there is no recourse. Not to mention that for $1600 you get 2 thunderbolt/usb-c ports. Because of this I ended up purchasing a high quality docking station ($280) and still some of the features that I was counting on like the AVB network protocol would not work on this M1 Mac (unless you buy 2, yes 2, Apple adaptors to use in tandem). Sounds like a rip off right? Ive literally spent days and hours on the phone with support from Apple, Windows, Parallels, OWC, Kensington and at the end of the day the M1 mac just isnt compatible with so many things.Ive been a staunch Apple user and fan for many years, but this experience might just bring me back to Microsoft. Please stay clear of these M1 macs and dont count on the Apple store to provide you with excellent service (unless you are about to hand them over a few thousand dollars for a new computer that underperforms). For $1600 + $300 (for docking station and case) I got a bunch of disappointment, stress, frustration. Literally the worst purchase Ive ever made.Regarding the Jordan Creek store: They apparently are in the business of taking a customers money, but not in the business of providing said customer with anything else except a bad product.

Went to buy a iPhone was told need appointment made one, was told that they would send me a text to come in and shop. I waited till time they told me no text received. I seen over 100 people walk in that place but would not let me in . I was a cash paying customer and told him what I was buying. I have been a apple customer for over 20 years. I will never buy a apple product again. I can’t believe they treat people this way. Jordan Creek apple store is horrible and should not be in business. It has been over 2 hours still no text. Horror place would never recommend this place. Also I have an IMac and 3 I phones but I am not good enough to buy from this store. What a joke.

Was scheduled at 210 for my appointment to get my screen fixed. Came at 158 they turned me away to come back closer. I came back at 220 a little late as I have a toddler in this big mall. This store stole my iPhone. I traded in my wife’s iPhone XR for an iPhone 11. I gave them her old (perfectly good) iPhone XR at the store when I picked up her new 11. One month later I get an email that my trade-in was cancelled without reason & they charged my account for the value they gave me for the phone! I feel robbed. Will be selling my old phone myself or doing it online next time.

I like this store as well as I would like any other store in a mall that had a great amount of traffic and was very noisy. If their doors closed it would be better noise wise, but it is all open. They have all of the things I need when I buy a new Apple device, although my last watch I bought from Apple online. They have many staff here, and apparently have been practicing safe Covid practices. Their staff varies from very knowledgeable and helpful, to new or just not terribly sharp, and that takes much more time and is not much fun. Obviously, their job is to explain, sell and other things. They are very well-equipped as far as products are concerned, and they have a very large TV screen where they teach various classes to people about Apple products, how to use them, etc. Between the noise of the audio from this and the noise of the mall traffic coming into the store and the clients in the store, it is not my favorite place to go. But when I have needed to go I was treated well, and managed to get through 45 minutes -1+ hours of talking and waiting for things to update or be configured.I might be a bit too generous with my review, but given the fact that they handle a huge number of people daily and work long hours Ill give them 4 stars. Considering the time one usually has to spend there I DO wish they had something a bit better than hard, wooden bar stools to sit on while waiting! They could certainly afford to make them a bit more comfortable.

Its fantastic having a mega apple store here in paradise, lucky we can get easy access. In theory. I went on line to schedule an appt but there were none avail, just a note to just walk in. So I walked in and was told I needed an appt made online. When the push-people-away dude at the guarded entrance finally heard that i needed a new phone he begrudgingly let me talk to a sales dude.Uniformed guards at the door are off putting. But the staff could at least be welcoming.

My daughters airpods quit working so we had to make an appointment (which is ridiculous you cant just walk in and get a little customer service). Once we got there we waited 30 min past our appointment. It took about 45 min for them to eventually order parts. We had to leave them there and when we asked for them to ship them to us when theyre repaired we were told no. Its completely ridiculous that apple will pay a security guard to make sure EVERYONE wears a mask in their store but wont spend $5 to ship broken air pods (that were under warranty). So in total its going to take 50 min to pick them up 50 min to drive home 30 min we waited past our appointment and 45 min in store. NEARLY 3 HOURS OF MY TIME FOR WARRANTY WORK ON AIR PODS. Thanks a lot for valuing my time Apple. Pathetic customer service!

All the stars go to Jason, who handled my Mac battery replacement on Jun 13. Per Apples inefficient procedure, I would have had to leave my computer at the store and pick it up the next day the earliest, or if I dont have a car be without a computer for a week because the computer would be handled by their depot center and ship to my address once finished. Jason saved me one trip and some hassles by replacing the battery while I was in the store. In fact, the diagnosis took longer than the replacement.Note: I tried to schedule an appointment well ahead and offered to pay for the service up front to shorten the visit time and possible delay, in case of unavailable part, but Apple does not allow their staff to disclose inventory situation.

Went into the store to get daughters phone repaired, she had not backed it up and wanted pictures off they said it was too badly broken and was not fixable. I took it to an individual in Oskaloosa to see if they could just get photos off he had it fixed in 20 minutes cost less than the Apple care deductible all data still on the phone. Apple only interested in selling new products not actually helping customers I had still planned on buying a new phone as hers is old just wanted the stuff off the old phone. Will not be getting a new phone from Apple horrible service. When I called to talk to the manager about the experience she did not really care and said well glad someone could fix it. We would have lost all the data. So she is basically saying is better to take your phone to a random repair service than to the Apple “experts”

I have never had a problem before and now that I have an issue it could not be resolved... after loosing 1000 plus dollars on a device that could of simply been repaired and was not able to simply because third party issues is dreading. Apple instead of helping your customers out especially in this time frame, you make customers spend more then what they need to and think customers are at wrong..

I took in my MacBook Air which had a crack screen and the employee was very helpful and nice! He was explained everything to me! He had everything ready for me and I left within 29 minutes(Micheal) I the business of the store depends on what time you go. I personally went around 6:30 and it was a little busy put not to bad. I see a lot of people complaining how they drove all the way to Jordan creek and the apple store was closed. First of all, don’t go without knowing what time they close as that is just irresponsible and could waste your time. Second, during COVID 19 make an appointment by calling there number. The appointment may take 20 minutes to set up (because of hold times..) but it is worth it. Very pleased with my experience today

Apple at Jordan Creek said that they weren’t able to do anything about it, which is extremely disappointing as I ordered the item because my previous model stopped working last night. Watch out for the security guards. During the week they were professional. I went in today (Saturday) for phone repairs and the security guards were very rude, picking and choosing what customers they allowed in. I was told from the Apple team when I came back to get my phone they would let me in right away to get it and get on my way. The security team made me wait 20 minutes and were rude about it the whole time. Once I escalated it since they kept opening the lane and allowing others to cut the guard then held the other customers back and allowed me to go first after he got loud with me. Definitely not the faces they should have 3rd party security representing the face of Apple...

Nice people. They will politely tell you to wait 50 minutes. In 40 minutes they will smile and sympathize with you as they tell you it may be another 20 minutes. They will nervously glance around as they kindly tell you they are so sorry it will be another hour. After 2 hours waiting they were very sweetly trying not to have to talk to us. My wife admittedly is less nice than them so far. She has not enjoyed her 2 and a half hour experience waiting to be helped by one of these nice people. I have yet to meet someone rude here. However, I have also not been helped in under 2.5 hours in any of the 4 times I have been here. (This does NOT include the time it took to actually work on the issue.)It seems that Apple is not in a hurry to help. Their people are nice, but dont have enough of them to support the problems with their products.* Update they, kindly informed us that their system says that we are scheduled to be helped in only another one and a half hours (4 total) and that we should know this because that is the original time they planned for and it is static and no one can change it. This seems weird seeing as how this is the 6th person we have talked to and not one so far had referenced this time ever existing. Seems that someone would have said 4 hours (6:45) not the myriad of other times we have been told.Nice people. Company/ personnel structure kinda stinks.

Visit #1 - was told to call Apple Care by the Security guard at the front of the store entrance, that no one would see me without an appointment even though there were no appointments showing online. Visit # 2 - was allowed to talk to a sales rep and was told I could not return the phone unless I had the serial number for the new phone, which my daughter had with her at work. After one hour of waiting for her to send the serial number I went back for visit #3. After watching 9 staff standing around talking for several minutes, I was summoned over by a woman who took the box I brought in and packaged up my phone and told me I could send it in. She said she didn’t need the serial #. Then when she saw I was upset she said they could put it in their fed ex shipment. When I stated that Apple website says you can return a trade in to any Apple store we were told “no” without any explanation. Apple is getting really full of themselves and they aren’t the same company they used to be.

Thats the first and the only time the phone was open to change a part inside. The manager kept saying its my fault for leaving my phone in the car to expose it to an extreme temperature change. A 20-degree temperature change between night and morning could cause this device to have water vapor inside my phone???? I did not pay $13,000 for a phone that could not withstand this small change of temperature. Im an engineer myself. Please give me a better excuse than that. The manager kept emphasizing how great training the technicians need to go through to repair their products and refuses to take responsibility. The customer service at this location is TERRIBLE plain and simple.I walked into the Apple store at Jordan creek mall with the intention of purchasing an iPhone 11 Pro Max ($1199). When I walked into the store I noticed all the employees looked busy, so I toyed around with the display models for a little while. After about 10 minutes my mind was made up,I was ready to make my purchase. Noticing that there were a couple employees standing around and talking in the corner, I excitedly made my way over to them. “Can you guys help me buy an iPhone?” I asked only to be acknowledged with a glance while they continued their conversation about sports (I was later informed that they were technicians and did not deal with sales). After my rude and extremely unprofessional encounter with the 2 technicians I figured I would be able to get what I needed from a different employee. I did, I spoke to the manager and was immediately put on a list to be helped by the next available sales associate, perfect. I was introduced to my associate, a medium build lady well over her 40s with all grey hair. Everything was going smoothly until she had to find her cleaning supplies to clean the phone I had brought in to be traded, she left several times(3) for about 5 minutes at a time. Each and every time she came back she would be mumbling to herself complaining about how “none of her stuff was where it was supposed to be”. Although I felt it was taking quite a while to complete the process it was completely fine as I would be walking out of the store with a glorious new iPhone 11 pro max. My trade in checked out perfectly and I purchased my new iPhone with one last request, a bag to put my new phone in while I walked around the mall. My sales associate informed me that the store only provided larger laptop sized bags, I told her that those bags would be fine so she disappeared to the back room and returned with nothing. I asked her again if she could get me a bag and I was %100 COMPLETELY IGNORED. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE, I spent $800 in the store and was treated with an immeasurableAmounts of disrespect. From call ahead, to product drop-off, to completion...the entire system is terrible. I operate a business with my laptops. When I take one in for repair to Apple, their standard of service is poor from the beginning. 3-5 days to replace a screen? As a side note, its now 7 days and I called them to inquire where its at. Come on Apple. Theres a 3rd party repair guy that can buy the part, have it next day from his supplier and have me out the door in less than 48 hours...but you cant compete? So why take it to Apple? Because Apple doesnt certify repair places to perform Apple Care repairs on their products. No. OK, what can I help you with?I explained that I’d like to look at an iPhone but I need it for a specific use so I’d like to have someone show me the parental controls. I was told there was no one in the store that can help me with that. I was encouraged to sign up for “a class” on the topic (they’re only on weekdays) as he points his tablet toward me and shows me a list of classes.I explained I live a fair distance away so just want to take a real quick look. Shouldn’t be more than 5 minutes. I was again told they don’t offer that service, but was again told to sign up for “a class” on the topic (they’re only on weekdays). I made sure the worker understood that I don’t CURRENTLY own an iPhone -- I’m not just some guy looking for a “how to” -- this is part of my buying decision. I was then told that all the phones in the store are locked, no one can unlock them, so we can’t show you that.I said, “you’re telling me there is not a single employee in this store right now (I could see about 15 employees) that has the ability to even hold an iPhone and show me the parental controls real quick?” He said, “no, I’m sorry.” I gave him my opinion of that policy (I didn’t yell, or make a scene, but I did say it’s a very stupid policy), and then he just said “sorry” and walked away to help the next person. At some point I was also told I could “read up on it on the website.” Well, you know, sometimes people like to see things in person and talk to a real person. Isn’t that the point of a store? So, I don’t know if this employee was lying, or if they have a really dumb store policy. I would question why can’t an employe take out their own personal iPhone and show me real quick? If he was truthful, and they really don’t allow the sales employees to show prospective customers phone features, then that is a horrible, foolish decision. My best guess is that they are trained (formally or informally) to home in on people that you think are ready to buy now. If they don’t look like they are coming in and it will lead to a sale, blow that person off as fast as you can or pawn them off to a “class.” To me, that’s elitism in a nutshell. I did hear one person nearby walk in and say right away Id like to buy and iPhone. So I suppose maybe they feel they can afford to blow off people who have not yet made a decision.I do wonder if I came back in a nice suit and said I was looking to buy 10 phones for my company but asked the exact same question . . . what kind of response would I get?

The Apple Geniuses at this store have always been great. I took my daughter’s older MacBook in without an appointment and they put me in line and I was able to talk with an Apple Genius and he was able to fix the problem. The Apple Genius was Keith, and he was very good at listening to what the issues were and working through to solve them. Every experience I’ve had at this store has been great. The Apple geniuses know what they’re talking about, and they don’t try to get you for unneeded repairs.

My phone battery stopped working and I came in here to change it. One of the workers ran a test and said that it had some software damage and that was the reason it wasn’t working so he said the best option would to fix that which would cost $300 or just upgrade to a new phone (over $500) so we left and right next to the store was a kiosk That fixed phones and he changed the battery and it works perfectly fine. I don’t want to be rude but I feel like they just want you to spend more money.

I came in to purchase an iPhone 10 which will accommodate 2 phone lines (personal and work). After I had turned in my 2 older phones and got my primary line set up on the new phone, I was told to have my carrier Verizon add the 2nd line. Once in their store, they refused to do it for 60 days (remember my old phone had been turned in and my work phone no longer working!!) I returned to Apple store and asked for Landon who promptly contacted Verizon Care to complete the transfer. A special THANKS to Landon for truly showing what customer care is! Verizon could and should take a lesson!Sincerely,A customer only carrying 1 phone again!!

Brand new Apple watch 5 series battery was draining very fast, about 1% a minute. More than one tech could not fix it. They claim the problem in the software but not the hardware. The techs and the manager refused to switch it twice. They were argumatative. We could not return it to Verizon as it just passed the 14 days. Apple used to have better customer service but not anymore. Unfortunately, even the products are not as good as used to be. The Apple as a corporate is greedy. They want you to purchase Apple Care and not listening to customers. Even their website does not have any way to send a complaint about the product.
