I had my girlfriend car serviced here. I went for rear breaks change but he said he needs the front breaks to grease (which were recently replaced, so they were fine); because the brake paddle was easy on the press. He charged me extra $$200 for nothing. The paddle was the same and the car breaks the same. So just a rip off.

I was told I needed a new catalytic (north of $1K). A friend recommended Village they changed out the connectors to the cat and the gas cap for half that. Problem solved! Thanks Village!!!

A few weeks ago I had a flat tire a few miles away. I was unaware at the time but Hyundai Elantras do not come with spare tires. I called village automotive and customs inc and right away he told me what they would be able to assist me with and was very pleasant and comforting to speak with as I waited for my tow truck. Once I got to the shop he looked at my car and the tire himself and was able to tell me what was needed. Unfortunately, I had to get to work and couldn’t wait for them to do all the work needed at the time since it was evident that all of my tires were in bad shape and needed replacing, not just the flat one. He so kind and offered to put a used tire on my car so I could get to work and then drop my car off in the evening after work. He didn’t charge me at all for the service or used tire and simply trusted that I’d return later that day, which I did. He understood my situation and need for getting to work ASAP since I worked at a hospital in this COVID-19 pandemic. His kindness and generosity was something I will be forever grateful for. He made a terrible day during a stressful time a little bit better. Once he finished with all the other work that was needed my car ran probably better than when I bought it. Overall great experience! Highly recommend!

Ust DO IT! This is the place that you want to bring your car for repairs. They are knowledgeable, professional and charge a fair price. It has been a month since my repairs. I took my BMW 528i xdrive to 2 different dealers and 2 different auto repair shops. They all did not diagnose the problem correctly and wanted to charge so much money until I was contemplating getting rid of the car. A friend recommended the Village they diagnosed the problem and my car rides just as it did when I first got it. I will not trust anyone else with my car but Village Auto Repair. Thank you again

After my car accident my car was sent from Collision Craft body shop for body work. Collision Craft then sent my car for the mechanical work to be done. When I received my car back I experienced lots of clunking noises and heavy wind noise coming from steering column in cowl panel. I found out that they didnt reinstall the boot on the steering column. As far as the clunking goes I found out that 2 of my sub frame bolts were loose. They reused my suspension hardware when it should have been replaced with new hardware from the dealer. I was informed that this hardware is one time use only. In addition, they put grade 8 bolts in some of my suspension parts which also should not be used. The findings were discovered by the dealership and the State Farm Insurance.

Originally I met a mechanic at the Senior Car Clinic that I was volunteering at. Village Automotive & Customs in Westmont was one of the establishments helping the seniors. I spoke with the mechanic and stated that his business was right down the street from me. He said...and why havent you used our service? So the very next time I needed maintenance that was where I went. The receptionist, Cary, was polite and thorough. Called me with the estimate, then I gave them the go ahead.
