Fair price, friendly staff, cleaned my brakes up during the day while I was at work. Couldnt ask for more from a shop. They even honored my coupon. I did some research of my own into pricing and labor and they didnt overcharge me. Hopefully nothing breaks down this winter, but if it does Ill be back with these guys.

When I write reviews, I do so for great experiences, but I feel this experience was anything but great. Justin was helpful, thoroughly explained what was going on with my car and the best solutions to resolve the issues. Bob, on the other hand, didn’t seem too thrilled with my presence to begin with. His interaction with me wasn’t anything like the couple that was there while walking in. After reviewing my car and after some consideration on my behalf, I decided to put off on the work for my car and just pay for the diagnostic test. I don’t know if someone got upset with my decision to do so, (as the communication with them seemed transparent, calm and respectful) but my car is even worse now than it was prior to bring it to them, as if the wires have been manipulated and misfires are out of hand. Being a young, single black woman in this world is difficult as is, but when people take advantage of women in general, it’s sickening! Why make someones life more difficult than it already is? I guess it was expected. It wasn’t my first time there, as I honestly thought I could trust these people. Be more impartial. I know life is full of lessons to learn, but give me a break. Beware!

Great service. Check engine light diagnostic showed a really expensive intake replacement repair. The Meineke team took time to research the problem and found a small defective piece on the intake that could be replaced for a very low cost to fix the check engine light--it worked! And we are very thankful. Looking forward to another 200,000 Miles in our 08 Mazda 3--thanks Meineke!

I’ve come here a couple of times now. Each time, the service has been friendly and professional. I used to go to the Meinke that was located in Lemont, IL for several years until it was shut down. I’m glad that there is another location close to my house now, that I can rely on tor my vehicle needs. I would definitely recommend their services to others. SO much CHEAPER than paying an arm, leg, possibly some fingers when you go to the dealerships for the exact same services.

We went to a different service center to have our exhaust fixed. They said they couldn’t help us. We found Meineke on line and they had good reviews. Justine got us in right away, looked it over, gave us a quote, fixed the exhaust and we were in and out in an hour and a half. Everyone was very nice and professional, and the total ended up being less than the quote. I think we found our new service center.

The gentleman didnt have to help me as he was closing shop, but with my 3 kids in the car and no one else available, he took the time to help me replace my alternator. He was courteous, professional, and to me, a real hero. If I could give this place 8 stars, I would do it.

Guys at this shop are friendly and knowledgeable and dedicated to getting the job done. My brakes made some noise when I brought it home. I called them and they corrected it the next day and no extra charge.

My car was leaking brake fluid. I had gone to Firestone just around the corner from them and they gave me the run around as well as anxiety telling my my hydraulics were going to give out and that I couldnt drive it but they couldnt look at it until Monday or Tuesday. My normal repair guy next to this Mineke was closed. I called and Justin answered. He was calm, and said he could see me right then and there. So I turned the corner and they took me in right away. Justin physically walked me back and showed me the things that needed repair. He gave me all the options I had. Thanks to him he eased my nerves. He was kind, helpful, explained everything so that I understood and got me in and out in time for my shift at work. His kind approach, kind demeanor and work ethic was highly appreciated. I would recommend them to anyone. So glad I got to meet them.

Went in for an oil change which was fine but I was very disappointed to see that no employees were wearing masks including customer service in their small office. I also saw one customer without a mask. Definitely not a place to go if you are immune compromised

I was in a bit of a pickle on a Saturday afternoon and desperately need the brakes done on my Camry. I called this shop and although they closed in 3 hours, they promised me they’d get it done if I could get there soon. I said I’d be there in 15-20 minutes which I was. Everyone I interacted with at the shop was friendly and professional. The owner himself talked about exactly what the car needed and why. I’m technical inclined so I knew what he was saying was spot on. I asked if they had time to also do an oil change which they also did. Long story short, I was out the door in two hours with new brakes and an oil change. My experience couldn’t have been better. The price for services rendered was also very competitive. I just moved back to this neck of the woods. Everyone is always looking for a good trustworthy mechanic. I’ll definitely be back and will be giving referrals as well. Great job, guys! This place is wonderful. The first time I took my car there, it wasnt making the clicking noise I had been hearing earlier. They even drove around with me to try and find the source of the sound. I ended up going home without being charged for any unnecessary services. How honest!I then brought my car in again a year later, and they fixed my brakes at a reasonable cost and also gave me rewards points for a free oil change. All of the staff are helpful and kind. They fit me into their schedule with only 24 hours notice during a holiday week. Much appreciated!

I brought in the diagnostic report from the dealer and the manager Justin showed clear frustration with the estimate that was provided to me. I couldnt believe the friendlinessof this shop Justin was courteous and knowledgeable . He called when my vehicle was dropped off, also when ready .. when he called I was waiting for the other shoe to fall (price increase ) or new air conditioning pump . but it was as promised.. also gave the auto preventive maintenance to find out if a problem did exist. Took my vehicle in for loud noise. Was told from another establishment that it was the catalytic converter to the tune of $800. Meinike examined my car and found there was a hole in the exhaust pipe. They saved me $500! Justin thank you! I live 45 minutes from this location and will happily make the drive for any further work.

This place is awesome! My vehicles was rejected on 3 emissions test and no one could tell me why. I took my vehicle to the dealer and they kept telling me that nothing was wrong. At my wits end, I called Meineke and asked if I could bring my vehicle in for inspection. The customer service was awesome and I dropped my vehicle off on a Friday. I recieved a call on Saturday saying that they were still assessing my vehicle and wanted to know if they could keep it until Monday. I advised that it was no problem since I work from home. On Monday, I received a call letting me know that I was all set and they even took my vehicle to the Emissions Testing Facility for me so I didnt have to and my vehicle passed! I really appreciate them because no one else would help me without diagnostic codes. I reccomend that if your vehicle needs servicing that you take it to Meineke!

The first time I brought my car in it was an emergency with my alternator needing replacing. Everything turned out well with efficient service. I brought in my wifes car and requested my car at a certain time, if they were able to accommodate, and they made the best effort they could to get me out on time and they did! They also made the extra effort to check my cabin air filter even though it wasnt on my list of requests, to make sure my preventative maintenance was truly complete. Bob gave me a good deal to top it off and Justin was friendly with helping me set up my Meineke Rewards. Everyone there is friendly and personable, and its so close to my house, so I will be back!

I went in towards the end of the day with a busted headlight and in need of an oil change. Justin came out to my car to check on the state of the headlight and told me exactly what I needed to do to buy the whole headlight assembly to get it completely fixed (unfortunate but true). He went above and beyond to put a new bulb in as a temporary fix and took the extra time to figure out what grade of oil my car needed when I didn’t know offhand. I was so grateful for the great service I experienced at this particular Meineke and definitely plan to be back.

During a routine oil change the manager Georgie was very concern and determine to find out what was causing my car to lose power when pulling off or making a complete stops. He hook up machine to my car and found misfires. So I told him and Bob I will bring it in Saturday morning. After several hours of eliminating what wasn’t wrong, it was determine that I needed fuel injectors. They quoted a reasonable price and warranty, and I was on my way. Good customer service from Bob and Georgie, I really appreciated your efforts.

I had my brakes replaced, an oil change, I needed a new engine filter, and one of my headlights was out. I went to the location on Cass avenue in Westmont Illinois. Justin helped me. He was very professional and very nice. I waited while the work was being done and he kept me apprised what was going on and how much longer it would be. The location is very convenient and it really beats going to the car dealership. I will definitely hold back for any future car repairs.

They contact us when they find the problem, let us know when it should be done, and will call if it might take a little longer. They fairly price the work and explain before, what theyll do, and after, what they actually did. We highly recommend them.

Meineke Westmont is where I go for ALL car maintenance needs. Why? This is an honest repair shop. Justin tells it like it is and will help you decide which option is right. Prices are also more than fair, I have shopped around but always find myself coming back here and have been for 10+ Years!Let me tell this story that illustrates how great this shop is. I was driving an old Chysler Cirrus and lost my power steering. I had my car towed in and discovered there was a leak in the line. Simply by putting power steering fluid into the car it worked again. I am not a car guy at all, I had no idea what this fluid was or where to put it. I was broke and could not afford to do the repair at this time, and the team showed me how to fix this issue! I was literally able to drive that car for 3 more months before trading it for something better without having to sink money into it because of the team at Meineke. No other shop would have done that, they would have demanded I fix the leak or else. Because of stories like this and countless more, I will always go here first when I need help with my car.
