Peter was absolutely incredible during the entire buying process. He and his staff treated me with the utmost respect and got my car (2010 Jetta) completely ready for me to pull off the lot. There are a lot of choices when buying a used car but I cant say enough positive things about Peter and the entire experience. Will be recommending Allroad to anyone who is looking to buy a used car! - Drew
BE AWARE!!!This dealer (with a shop, so no excuses) sold me a vehicle that had more mechanical issues than the vehicle was even worth. Lied to me multiple times about multiple things to make the sell.I bought a very clean looking car with a rattle in the back end. Dealer said it was just the spare time underneath, and that they lifted it up to look and everything was good.I was uncomfortable still so negotiated a $500 decrease which he huffed and puffed about and forced an As-Is sale.I drove it to my mechanic (an hour away) and found out the rear end was gone. Maybe all of it. Also, the power steering pump is leaking oil as well as the heads and two other areas. The mechanic had cleaned up the motor area really well and had no oil drips on the ground, so it couldnt really be seen until I took it for a long drive. (longer than my test drive, apparently. One week later, its still in the shop. Ill easily pay $2,500 for all the basic repairs, and hope that that covers it.This is a VERY DISHONEST DEALER.Bring your mechanic with you!!! Dont trust this dealer!! Dont let his aggressiveness and attitude dissuade you. If you cant handle the hard drive, go somewhere else. VERY DISHONEST! He will lie straight to your face and not even blink.
I bought my Saab 2 months ago. No problems with the car. The owner Peter was friendly and very professional. I would definitely recommend this place for purchasing a car. Good luck!
The owner Peter is so nice person and professional😊! He helped me to decide which car suits me best. BMW fully serviced. Definitely recommend Allroad Auto!
I bought my Jetta from Peter in November 2019 and love it. It is old with high mileage so I expect issues. If I need anything done, I trust Peter to take care of it. Hes a good guy and gets the job done right.
The place is OK, and the prices are fair. Anyways, you have to understand that youre buying a used car, not a new one. Consider bringing your own mechanic if you have any suspicions about those cars. However, Peter is the owner of this business so he is interested in providing strong customer service. And he really does!
Great experience. Test drove 3 cars and they were all clean and in good condition. No lights on the dash or strange noises. They were very reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend Allroad Auto to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable vehicle.
Bought an 07 BMW X3 from Peter and had a wonderful experience. He genuinely seems like an honest guy and hardworking mechanic/salesman. They only had the car for around a week before I purchased. I purchased without any warranty. I have not run into any issues. Peter told me that new tires had been ordered already. He allowed me to take the car home and bring it back a week later to install the tires at no extra cost. I got caught in traffic and he even stayed an hour late AFTER they close to help me out. Please realize - you are buying a used car and the dealerships did not build the car themselves. Do your diligence and bring a mechanic to inspect prior to purchasing if you are concerned.
I bought two used cars. One for my wife and one for me. So far Im very happy with both cars! The Mercedes has mor than 200k miles done and still driver very smooth and reliable.I would absolutely recommended to visit this place and take a look to the different offers.
I went to Allroad auto recently and purchased what I thought was a pretty decent Mazda 3. Peter was the guy who sold me my car with the 30 day warranty. I figured that since Peter was a seemingly honest man who would help to correct mistakes to maintain a good reputation and potential buyers (aka my siblings), I figured I would give him a call. Although my issues happened one day AFTER the warranty ended, the man gave me an attitude and said this, and I quote, “well that kinda sucks for you, but it’s really good for me.” So based on this little snarky comment, I would NOT recommend buying a car from this unhonest and deceiving shop. I hope this advice helps car buyers who are looking for decent and reliable vehicles. Thanks so much for reading!
Back in 2018 I bought a used 07 Passat wagon from AllRoad. Peter was very accomodating; he allowed me to test drive the vehicle, take it to a mechanic to have it checked out, and showed me the CarFax info right there at the dealership. In addition, he dropped the price $500 which sealed the deal for me. Over two years later, the car is still running well with minimal maintenance put into it. In hindsight I have to say my experience was very good and would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid, used vehicle at a reasonable price.
The owner - Peter - is an honest, straight shooting guy. No pressure, no typical sales tricks. If you like a car, he will give you an honest opinion. His car selection is great and prices are lower than other places.
Clean cars, nice people, easy to talk to. Knowledgeable about their cars
2021- Im updating my review because Im seeing some interesting 1-star reviews that sound pretty far from reality. Knowing Peter for 9 years since I bought my first car from him, many of the accusations listed by those reviewers are just far off Peters character. These reviews sound very delusional as if they were talking about some other dealerships. I do not know the actual intentions behind those reviews and I do not want to simply specular. I am only here to state that there is a huge gap between what the accusations claim and the reality given the years of interactions Ive had with Peter. I will always say without a hesitation that Peter is a genuinely trustworthy, helpful, and honest person.2016- Peter is a great guy and he is really trustworthy! I bought my first car from him about four years ago and he has always been a great source of help. He takes his responsibility and he helped me fix random issues of my car over the years at very very reasonable prices - usually only 1/3 of what most other stealerships will charge you. Feel free to go and check out his place, he has postings on craigslist too if you want pictures of what he is selling. He never rushes a deal and he only sells if you are comfortable with it. An authentic and hardworking man is hard to find these days, Peter will not let you down :)
The owner is very very honest. we love the car we bought from him. I will buy from him again.
Purchased a Huyndai Elantra from Peter six months ago and couldn’t be happier. He was very open through the whole process, honest and disclosed all the info available on the vehicle.Would gladly and highly recommend to anyone in a need of a quality used vehicle.
Everything about this auto is a nightmare. The rear left wheel bearing was shot and I replaced it. Car was nice and quiet. I drove it to State College Pa to get my belongings. On the way there the Airbag light came on. !!!! On the way back I stopped for fuel and the car wouldnt start. finally it did and I made it back to P-Town. After my return to car still had problems starting. I replaced the starter and the battery and now it starts BUT the transmission is in limp mode. stays in 3rd gear and is unable to drive. Ive contacted the Attorney General to find my next steps. BTW on further inspection all four rotors look like they were pulled out of Cape Cod Bay and put on this car. Ive never seen rotors so rusty. Maybe they were found on the Titanic.
Dont waste your time going here. I travelled 4 hours for a rust free car in so called excellent condition. The dealer lied to me over the phone by stating the car was in overall great condition. The car had several dents, heavy rust and rot, body filler, drivers seat had a large tear and the shifter boot was tearing as well. If I could select a 0 out of 5 stars I would. I was lied to and they wasted my time and money. DO NOT GO HERE. GO ELSEWHERE TO BUY A CAR.
I dont know how, or more to the point WHY, anybody would write a negative/bad review about Allroad Auto in Whitman MA or Peter the owner for that matter?I obviously cant speak for everybody, but my own personal experience I had at Allroad Auto today was beyond amazing, it was FANTASTIC!I just bought a used 2009 Volkswagen Jetta from Peter at Allroad Auto today, but before I actually bought the car, not only did the owner of the dealership, Peter, let me take the car I was interested in buying for a test drive, but the following day, he allowed me to take the Car I was interested in all the way back to where I live, which is about 50 minutes to an hour away from where his dealership is in Whitman MA, to have my own/personal Mechanic look at the Vehicle I was interested in purchasing from Peter at my leisure and then bring it back with a decision as to whether or not I was going to buy the Car.My Mechanic told me, after a thorough check under the hood, under the body and all around the car, inside and out and a road test, the ONLY mechanical issues that needed to be addressed with the vehicle was that the car needed new break pads, front and back Rotors and two front CV Joints, otherwise this is a pretty decent Car.After that bill of decent/good health from the Auto Doctor, I headed back to Allroad Auto and told Peter what was discovered by my mechanic and Peter did what most owners of Car Dealers DONT do, he put the Car I wanted to buy on the lift, we looked at the CV Joints and they were fine, clean, no oil or goop was seeping from either of them and the rubber boot/casings on BOTH joints were intact, and if either of the above issues was seen, that would be a good indicator that replacement of the joints was necessary, and they were clean and solid. The reason there was a slight wobble, in the front end was because Peter put two new front tires on the car and could not balance the wheels, hence the slight/hardly noticeable wobble at highway speeds, nothing a quick/inexpensive tire balance wont fix. Peter also ordered FOUR NEW Rotors and brake pads for the Car and replaced them for me, on his own, as I watched, for an hour after his dealership closed for the night, which he DIDNT have to do I might ad, regardless of how badly he may have wanted to sell the Car and make the sale.Besides going above and BEYOND to make the car I was interested more decent than it already was mechanically before I bought it, when he was done replacing the four brake rotors and pads, the price he charged me for the parts and his labor was far more reasonable, and fair, than the price the mechanic I took my car to for a pre buy inspection, or another local Mechanic I took the car to for a price quote for the SAME job would have charge me to fix the brakes/rotors and CV Joints if I went to them! When all was said and done, I bought the car from Allroad and I cant thank Peter enough for his hard work and for going above and beyond by doing what he did to address and fix the issues with the Car before I actually bought it.When it comes to Car Dealerships, Used or new, sometimes bigger isnt always better, and Allroad Auto is a great example of how being a small dealership is a very GOOD thing!I HIGHLY recommend Allroad Auto if you are looking for pretty good foreign cars at VERY reasonable prices and an owner who genuinely puts himself out and goes above and beyond to make sure his customers get what they need and they leave his dealership satisfied with their purchase and happy.Thank you Allroad Auto for the 2008 Volkswaqen Jetta I bought today and thank YOU Peter for being the amazing person you truly are!Keep up the good work!
My wife and I purchased a VW Jetta TDI at Allroad Auto and had a great experience. The car was a great value and we are very happy with the purchase. It was also clean and just as it was described in the ad. The staff was friendly, helpful, and honest. We drove the car 2 and a half hours home and it ran great. I would certainly buy another car here.
My husband and I got a Honda Odyssey from allroadauto. Car runs great and the purchase process was easy.
Perfect deal for me, good car for good money.
Fast and easy deal. Thank you.
