I bought a Jeep from Star Auto. The owner, Dave was very personable and upfront with what I was buying. The day I picked it up the Jeep wasn’t ready when I got there. He and his mechanic were working on the brakes. At first I was annoyed by this but, the fact that they weren’t going to release the vehicle until it was right, made me feel more confident about my purchase. Overall I am happy with the Jeep and would recommend them to anyone looking to get a vehicle at a good price.

Bought a jeep rubicon 7/19 from Dave. Beautiful jeep. Brought back to him week later with an engine light on. He said it was no big deal. Nothing but problems. Just traded in and found it had a salvaged title. He shook the hand of my terminal ill boyfriend at the time assuring him it was a safe vehicle. I have many texts from myself to him that he never returned months after the purchase. Not sure where they get the vehicles but this is why used car salesmen get a bad name. I bought a fairly new vehicle there with 37,000 miles in 2017. I got what I thought was a great deal and the car was in awesome shape and I was very happy with it. It was a 2011 Ford edge Limited and had aftermarket ford rims. The owner was very accommodating there. He was super nice and took care of everything I needed. I asked him about the Carfax and he said it was a clean Carfax that I would be wasting my money. Obviously I trusted this because the car was really really clean and looked perfect. Today I went to the dealership to trade it in for a new vehicle and was told it was a salvage title and I am severely disappointed in the fact that he never revealed this information to me when purchasing the vehicle. Not only was I disappointed in the fact he didn’t tell me but it also reduced the price of my trade in by about 2/3 in regards to what I would have gotten in a trade. My vehicle still only has 90,000 miles on it four years later. Really sad because I hate giving negative reviews and this is actually the first one I have ever given.

Star auto offered me the ability to buy the car I want at a greatly reduced price. I researched the vin online and pulled up the image of the car before the owner (Dave) repaired it. I could see it was minor sheet metal damage and was still a very good deal even with a reconstructed title. I saved about $7K off retail and plan to keep the car a long time.Everyone complaining did not do their homework and want a car with perfect history for thousands under retail. There is no such thing as free people. But if you understand cars and want a late model car for thousands less than any dealer and plan to keep it till the end this is the place.Dave even offered to buy the car back whenever I choose down the road! What more could I ask for?Dave helped me out with my tight schedule and drove to my work and house to get all papers signed and he even got the plates and registration all done for me. Car delivered fully detailed and clean.My wife was originally skeptical but after she saw the deal I got that changed! When she needs another car we will be back!

I had a great buying experience at Star Auto Sales. I bought a Chevy Tahoe 2013 very recently. The salesperson was very thorough and explained all the features of the car. He made sure all my questions were answered. He wasn’t pushy, and he genuinely was interested in making sure we had all we needed to make our decision for the car best fit for us. Bought a car from this place had a crack windshield the sales men told me he would send me the check to my house to get it fixed and he never did. I also noticed after I bought which it is my fault because you should always proof read everything . The car had been in a accident and it was totaled which he never said it was not a a honest person and not someone I would do business ever again with

The sales manager/owner was very courteous when I walked through the door and made me comfortable with little or no pressure to buy one of his car the star auto sales place has a friendly atmosphere with the owner helpful attitude that is why his business is a success. From there the rest was history! I was fortunate to find my dream car for thousands less than what I had seen on the market. Furthermore the experience I had was second to none.

Absolute scam artist. Dave is a poor very two faced human. He is respectful when you first meet him and puts on a very innocent face. I had bought, what I thought was a nice ram 2500 off of him to only find out that it had a salvage title that I was never informed about. So 3 weeks into having the truck I started having issues with it. Brought the truck to a dealership and they had given me back a list of problems they had found. They said the truck basically needed a new whole new front axle because they tried hiding the broken axle by putting sealant around it which did not hold up and started leaking. Spider gears inside axle were also broken off. It also needed a new wiring harness because the wires were cut at some point and then poorly spliced back togeather which lead to electrical issues when ever it rained. The drivers door was filled with bondo filler and poorly painted and started cracking after a few months. He says his vehicles come with a 3 month warranty so I brought the truck back to get fixed and he kept the truck until the warranty was up and when I came to pick it up the truck was untouched. Very frustrating when you spend 30k on a vehicle that is salvage and you can’t drive it. Stay far away from this crooked so called dealership. Awful awful way to do business!

I purchased my Nissan Sentra with 25,000 miles on it for $10,000. Yes its a reconstructed title, but I never felt Dave was shady about it as everyone is saying. He was very upfront and disclosed everything before we even looked into financing. It has been over a year and I still love my car as much as I did then. In fact, I may get another from him soon.

I bought my 2013 Nissan Murano premium package from Dave about 5 months ago under market value. It ended up being the best move I ever made! I love the car.

Saw a car online was ready to buy just needed to make sure the car was how it was online . Walked in asked to test drive the car . The man who was there called the owner (who wasnt there) and the owner asked if we had trade in ... which we did which wasnt there at the moment and they told me I could not test drive the car without a trade in . So what if I didnt have a trade in ? You mean to tell me Im not able to look at a car to buy without a trade in . I felt profiled at that moment because I sell cars I work at Toyota but I want an Infiniti that they had thats the only reason why I drove all the way there. You guys sell cars and lost a sale because you would not let inquiring buying customer test drive a car you sell . Not good business

My husband almost bought a beautiful 2013 Ford truck with 12,000 miles on it from this dealership today. Thank God we looked up the carfax ourselves on the truck before going, finding out it was a salvage vehicle, with all Ford warranties voided. The dealer never disclosed this information and actually denied that it was true. We still wanted to see if there was any potential in this truck today, but Dave Kane would not allow us to do a test drive on the highway, or have it looked at by the local Ford dealership to see if the major repairs were done correctly. He said we would have to purchase the truck first before further looking in to the condition of the vehicle. We walked away from this very dishonest man who was trying to hide the salvage title, buyer beware!!

I bought a 2014 loaded Nissan altima with a reconstructed title almost 2 years ago. Ive been using the car to do lyft and uber in boston. Its been super reliable and Ive done over 75,000 miles on the car since Ive got it. All Ive had to do is regular maintanence like oil and tires

Dave is shady, He did not let us know that the title was to have flood on it. He charged us 150.00 tow fee along with 100.00 deductible warranty free after the starter broke after having the car for only 2 months. The car was under warranty for 6 months. It is at dealers discretion to charge the 100. fee or not. He does! He only discloses when it is too late for you to have a choice. He will nickle and dime you every chance. I was without car for 4 days. No loaners. This is a 30,000 car. Poor business practices.

Terrible, liar, con artist. Do not buy a vehicle from this liar. He even lies to the elderly. Only a horrible person can do that. Please do yourself a favor and dont think your getting a bargain because you are not. Its most likely a flood or salvage vehicle.

I recently purchase a 11 MB E-350 and I asked if everything was clean with car his answer was yes he never told me it had a reconstructed title from previous water damage when I asked him why the vehicle was price 3 thousand less then other cars his answer was he buy for less so he can sell for less when I went to sign the purchase agreement I called him if he can have everything ready that I was in a rush because I had to get kids from school so he sure did had everything ready n folded n also he folded the contract right where he wrote in real small letters that the car had a reconstructed title where it was impossible to see wish I had the option to post a pic when I called a vent on him his answer was that he told you it did POS never did I would of never made a deal with him if youre purchasing a vehicle from this POS make sure you run a car fax n dont take his word for it he has lied to numerous ppl about his inventory buyer beware his not the person he appears to be he also added a extended warranty I never agreed on n told me it was included in purchase price n thats how I found out he lied about title
