They text me about 5 times before I got their.Took my information when I scheduled. After taking me to the back informed me they didnt take my insurance and escorted me to the door

I just called and talked to her receptionist. She was very nice very sweet. He knew how to find information that I did not have for my son. I was able to schedule quick and easy appointment. We had a wonderful conversation. I know the customer service is impeccable.🤗

Excellent service. Staff checked all our insurance co pays and told up front what charges would be. Competitive prices for glasses and nice selection of frames. Appointment was quick but thorough. Would definitely recommend them.Update 9-26 Hubbys and my glasses came in quickly. Very happy with them ( and hes pretty particular : ). Quick pick up. Were a busy family and I felt like they made sure to not waste any of our time. Best eye Dr experience weve had.

My experience with Simon Eye Associates Union Street office has been pretty mediocre. When I moved to Wilmington, I wanted a new eye care provider and came to this office due to its proximity to my home. I ordered contact lenses and a new pair of glasses and my experience was fine. However, when I recently went in again to order a new supply of contacts, my experience was much less positive. While I generally order contacts a 3 to 6 months at a time (after all, a full year’s worth of lenses is a significant investment for someone on a tight budget), I was enticed by the offer of a significant rebate to order a full years supply. The person I spoke to even calculated out the cost in a way which suggested that the rebate would be taken directly off the cost that I would pay for my new contacts. However, when I returned to pick up my contacts a few days later, I was informed that I would be required to pay full price, and then submit information to receive a rebate from the manufacturer. I felt a bit put off, as this was not what I had been led to expect, but I was fine with going through the process. However, when I returned home and begin to submit documentation to receive the rebate, I was surprised to learn that I was not actually eligible for the rebate, which required me to have had a contact lens fitting in the past 90 days. I went in and spoke with the folks at the store, and was struck by the fact that they seemed to have very little information about the program which they had used to entice me to make a purchase in the first place. Perhaps the person who originally made the sale was not present, or perhaps they just didnt understand the situation, but I found the staff to be somewhat dismissive, and I was finally told to submit the billing information which I had to the manufacturer anyway. After doing this, I was predictably denied the rebate by the contact manufacturer, as I didn’t meet the qualification to receive the rebate. I think it is pretty obvious that I am posting this review out of frustration and it is not necessarily representative of the experience of a broad range of customers at Simon Eye Associates. However, the lack of customer service demonstrated by this whole saga left a bad taste in my mouth. I dont wish to be capricious, but I hope that in the future, their sales associates will take the time to understand the offers which they are marketing to customers before using them in their sales pitch. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

A total rip off, avoid this company, terrible prices and service, they will cheat you at every and any chance. they asked me if I wanted a complimentary sample of one a day contact lenses, and then after their employee literally just pointed me to the mirror and said to put them in my eyes, they charge me $50 for the fitting fee/ the fee for their employees help - avoid this place and go anywhere else.

I have been a patient of Simon Eye since 1985. They have always treated me with fairness and respect. Anytime I needed my glasses adjusted they would take care of them immediately. They also would adjust my mothers glasses who was not a patient of Simon Eye. I only had 2 experiences I was not happy with the optometrist since 1985. I highly recommend this group.

I recommend this place for the simple care they put into making sure I can see. My visit wasnt stressful or anxiety endusing. And the other staff is very helpful in answering questions or concerns.

I only gave them 1 star bc its mandatory. I recently had my eyes examined and was told that I needed new glasses my insurance covered the frames and I paid an additional $130 for the scratch proof anti glare etc. After having the glasses for about i week I decided that I didnt like them and wanted to be fitted for contacts. I was told Id have to pay for another exam although VSP already told me I only was responsible for the $20 co-pay. Prior to coming to Simon I had a pre- exsisting condition that required me to have my windows tinted I recently purchased I new car and took my old waiver and a new one for the Dr to fill out. I was told the Dr would not fill out the form and now I have to pay for another eye exam! I WOULDNT recommend anyone to take their pets there for anything they are all about money and not about superior customer service.
