Ive been to literally thousands of shops for my job and these guys have no idea what they are doing. They ruined my 30k car, threatened me, and I sat there while the owner yelled at me for well over an hour over a very realistic, polite, and fair request. Trust me! STAY AWAY. Dont waste your time or money. Id trust a stranger on the street before Id trust these guys.

After learning our long time mechanic Pro-tech was no longer in business we choose Peters due to the good reviews. They did a great job fixing things on our older car that we were previously told were not an issue. And the best part was they padded the quote so the bill was much less than we expected. I believe we have found a winner!

They have given both my family and me good service at great prices for 3-4 years. Theyve fixed everything from a failed brake line to fixing a slow leak, which is about as much as I can ask from a mechanic. I cant recommend them enough.

No one asked me to write this review or to rate Peters Motors highly. I live locally in Woodstock, IL.I have been their customer since approximately 2005. I have had 5 different cars repaired over the years. On occasion I have received quotes from other garages. Peters Motors is always lower. The work is done quickly and with quality.Has the work always been perfect? Pretty much. I can think of two times I had any concern. I went back in and talked with them. They addressed the concern in a straight forward manner, and always took care of me financially when appropriate.I agree with the other 5 star reviews. I think they are true and accurate. My son now uses Peters Motors. Thats better than any 5 star review.

I called three days in a row i understand there busy but all i had is a question where a vacuum line went they told me they cant tell me unless i bring it in if i could drive i would it took 4 days for a call back

I picked this place when, 2 years ago, I needed a new battery for my 2013 Corolla and I was new to the area. I liked their good on- line reviews and the fact they have served the Woodstock area for decades. The place is clean, the folks are friendly and knowledgable, and they never try to sell you more than you need. I am so glad to find a trustworthy auto shop close to home! So far, Ive only needed oil changes, but should I ever need more service, Ill be heading to Peters Motors!

My headlight went out on my way home. No place around knew how to even get to it. Thanks to YouTube I did know. So after trying to explain many times I called Peters motors. Asked if they knew how to get to the headlight. “Yes they did” stopped and got the bulb to make it easier and fast because I was walking in at closing time. Hands down best service. Great price and quality.

No exaggeration at all these guys are the best. Because of that I drove 30 minutes to use them again for a car with some suspension issues. Sure enough I pick up the car today and pay less than the estimated cost and it drives perfectly. Usually you pay more and it’s still broken. Very happy, I should go back and leave a tip.
