Worst experience Ive ever had, and such a rudimentary and simple procedure. This is a case of, How not to do an emissions test! I own a commonly owned European car. The attendant didnt know how to pop the gas entry door, so I explained how to do that. He didnt know how to pop the hood. He used the wrong size gas cap adapter, probably not his fault, but, when he was finished testing, my gas cap failed. Then, he couldnt affix the gas cap back onto my vehicle. Neither could I, so he got assistance from the owner, who explained the proper way to release the gas cap collar. The owner then used a different color/type gas cap collar and, magically, the gas cap passed the test. As the attendant drove my car back out front, he had forgotten to re affix the gas cap and was about to drive off without it until I noticed and he then affixed it. The entire procedure took a full hour.I took my other vehicle to Hickory Flat Emissions; about 1/4 mile up the road and I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. Live and learn, trial and error. Ill know better next time where to get this simple task accomplished.

Needed work done on the brakes of my 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage and was given a very fair price - not always the case when you are a female looking for a reliable mechanic. Very quick turnaround and the owner, Jack, was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended if you are looking for someone you can trust with your vehicle!

I have used South Flats Auto for over 15 years for all my repair needs-- spanning multiple vehicles. I have always been satisfied with their work and the special attention Jack personally invests. Prices are good. Turn around is good and on the rare occasion that the work didnt fully fix the issue, they have always made things right very quickly. I now drive 1hr to take my vehicles the SFA. Its worth the trouble to have a mechanic you can trust.
