Most comfortable feeling ever when I walked in. They were so welcoming and explained what they were going to do. The text message with updates was amazing. They didn’t have an opening the day I went it but Graham saw to it that my car was seen that day. He even talked to my son on the phone cause I couldn’t explain it correctly what was going on with my car. Just love this place!

Best auto shop in the entire city! The first thing I noticed was the environment, very welcoming and comfortable feeling. The customer service here is also absolutely phenomenal. I scheduled an appointment for a check engine light, and they easily fixed it right away. As someone who is new to cars, they gave me deep explanations and very useful advice. Compared to other auto shops who were very misleading and tried to take advantage of my money. I 100% this auto shop, I will be returning for all my car problems. thank you!

I highly recommend Golden Rule. I have been there 3 times for an oil change. They are prompt and they don’t try to up sell other services. The waiting room is clean and neat. Graham, at the front desk is very personable. They truly treat you like a friend. I won’t go anywhere else for issues with my car.

These guys are always up front and honest about the services that they offer. Never have I been worried about getting up charged for some random part or service. They always get it done right the first time and they’re super quick. I take both my 2003 4Runner (300k miles) and 2004 Tacoma (200k miles) to them whenever they need sprucing up.

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Confidently and fully trust your mechanic needs to this shop!!! There arent many, if any, places left in America that have the values, ethics, and Customer Service this place has!!! My wife, traveling with her Sister and granddaughters were traveling to our daughters in Wylie, TX, yesterday (Sunday) when a chunk of steel came off a truck and she had no option other then hit it. It (steel) wedged itself under the car on the interstate and causing her to abruptly pull over and stop. Thanks to the assistance of a Good Samaritan, she was able to get the car road-worthy to finish out the few miles remaining. We called Golden Rule of Wylie, after a recommendation from our daughter and son-in-law, Monday morning and explained to them what had happened and asked if they could schedule us for a safety inspection. Immediately accommodating, Graham scheduled us for 1:00. Now is where this story gets even better! When my wife arrived with the car they were such Professionals!!! Graham made sure my wife was comfortable and politely took the car and moved it into the shop for inspection. These highly-skilled Professionals did a complete and thorough safety inspection of the entire car... and not just the undercarriage where we said the impact occurred. During the inspection they discovered that a large section of the under-body shielding was torn from its attach points,. Not only did they reattach it, they noticed the anti-freeze was low and topped if off. My wife, comfortably waiting in their lobby, was utterly speechless when Graham brought her the car and handed her the key and said maam, there wont be any charge today. He said we would want someone to step in and help our family members too when something like this occurs. As you can imagine, my wife was in shock and so was I when she called me in our home state and told me the news. She even tried to buy this gentlemen lunch and he politely declined. It is our hopes that this review will reach as many people as possible because these are the places we want to see prosper amongst businesses!!!! ;-)

Cant say enough good things about Graham and his crew. They are one of the best shops around. Honest and friendly. One of my favorite aspects of their service is the quality check Johnny peforms after an oil change. He double checks everything and then wipes your interior down. I really appreciate that. And a shout out to Matt (I believe that was his name) for taking the time to diagnose a noise I was hearing from my front suspension, and explaining the possible causes. I highly recommend them for any of your car care needs.

Once again they saved our road trip from potential disaster. we took our car by on Friday afternoon. leaving saturday they found a coolent leak. originally told us it was a water pump but upon further inspection found out it was a hose that is connected to the water pump. instead it costing us almost 2000 dollars. they got us out the door for 233 dollars. they stayed late on a friday and would have been willing to come in on a day off Saturday morning if need be to help get us on our way. If you ever need anything done to any of your vehicles and are in wylie sachse or surrounding area please go see Graham manager and Matt. and the rest of The Golden Rule staff.

If I could give Golden Rule a million star rating I would! First of all Graham and Johnny are so helpful when I have questions, they explain thoroughly. The rest of the guys on this team always treat my car with care and check every inch of my car. I have pictures taken and reports given on my car so I can see and understand what is being done. 3rd visit here & always super friendly. Grahm & I believe Johnny was the other guy. Very knowledgeable of their services & mechanic work in general. The free general inspection was great even though it showed me what all was wrong with my truck, lol. They were very nice and I felt they are honest and did a good job. Their price is equivalent to other oil change places but I will definitely go back to them because of their level of good customer service !

I took my car in on Tuesday to get my steering suspension rack and pinion, power steering pump, oil change and alignment done and got it back by Friday. These guys do excellent work at a reasonable price. Also their customer service is A1. Ill be going back for all my auto repair work.

I was very impressed by the professionalism by this facility. They give your vehicle a thorough inspection advise you on the problems and dont try to upsell you on services you dont need. I highly recommend this repair facility.

Im from out of town, came here to get my ac looked at and maybe fixed. They ran the whole diagnosis on my car and tried to push more than just the ac. I also did some researching and for everything that would cost less than $500 they were gonna charge close to $1500. Very nice staff but very over priced. Wish they just stuck to my ac and didnt rattle off things that didnt need to get fixed right now or charged extra for filters and things that dont need to get changed.

All team members I interacted with were friendly, answered all my questions and addressed my concerns I had. The text message updates were very helpful and kept me in the loop without having to call for the status. I shopped around for pricing at a few competitors and Golden Rule beat them all, which made the entire experience 5 star for us. I highly recommend them!

If you were referred to them from RepairPal or are a Carmax customer, do not use this company. Took my car in because it was having issues shifting out of park. They wanted to charge me two to three times more than my warranty’s deductible! They apparently have to charge a “premium” on their parts since they have a three year warranty on the parts. I get that they have to make a profit, but when I even called my warranty company to see if they would cover the up charge THEY even told me I was getting ripped off! I talked with Carmax about this issue and they said this absolutely should not have happened. Don’t be ripped off by these guys!

Awesome service on my 4Runner air conditioner! Reasonable price to repair and kept us informed while repairing. Will definately use Golden Rule again and so happy to have cold A/C!!

The interphase is a real-time update from the service providers to the customer with pictures and excellent detailed descriptions of the services they provide. This was EASILY the most impressive and unique aspect of the customer service they provide! Whenever my car was receiving a new service (as I had many needs) I would receive a text with a link to the pictures and descriptions. It was so cool!3.) Mannnnn my A/C blows ice cold now!

There are many instances where you have friends and then because of that friendship, you use them for business.For me and the guys at Golden Rule, the opposite is true, I did business with them and from that grew a friendship that continues away from the business environment. Everyone has a horror story about car repairs, me included, but these guys are the best I’ve seen. They treat each and every customer like family. I truly enjoy taking my vehicles to Golden Rule and will continue to do so.

I had my timing belt replaced by them. I usually do maintenance myself on my vehicle but I had no time to do it myself, so I dropped it off with them. Im pretty particular about doing things yourself if you want it done right, but I decided on them from positive reviews. Not only did they do the timing belt correctly, but they also did a thorough inspection on my vehicle for leaks, broken parts, etc. They gave me a list of potential issues that needed to be addressed without pressuring me to have it done if I wanted or not. I bought my vehicle for 3 grand, so investing more than what I paid for it isnt logical but I was quite impressed what they found. They even tightened my steering FREE of charge as a courtesy to prevent safety issues when driving. Overall I am very impressed, would use them again, and I would recommend them.

They were able to diagnose and repair a problem in an expedient manner when 2 other shops could not. Graham was personable, informative, and professional. Ill be recommending them to anyone who is in need.

So Monday night I parked my car in the garage and the next morning it wouldnt start. Had my car towed to them. They couldnt determine what was wrong with the initial diagnostic so they needed to remove the intake. Still couldnt figure it out. They started just checking things and they said it magically started. It was going to cost me about 331. When I got there they told me they couldnt figure out what was wrong and they werent going to charge me for anything except the tow. That says everything about this shop!! I wont go anywhere else. Thanks for the wonderful experience in my crazy dealing with my car!!!

5 star service. I took my car here to have the the entire front suspension redone on my 2014 Focus ST. Both Control arm assemblies, two new front axles, new struts, springs, mounts, tie rods. I dropped the car off Monday at 3:30pm and got the car back the next day at 5pm. Then I drove 1800 miles for vacation. The drive feels like new, they did perfect work for a fair price and got the car back to me in a faster manner than any Dealership ever would.

Graham got us in and out of there pretty quickly. They are always so friendly and our experience with their work has been good.

Low oil light came on while driving. Found that another service center had not place the correct amount of oil in my truck. Manager crawled under truck without hesitation... Then had tech place truck on lift to ensure all was good. Tried to have him charge me for their time, but just charged me for 2 cans of oil. I will now drive from Greenville to Wylie for my scheduled services and if anything pops up. 5 Star Service...

The guys at the front were so sweet & explained everything to me & talked to me like an equal! Even offering me a ride home since I lived near by. Overall I plan to make Golden Rule my go to car shop!

Service was good as usual, but I noticed scratches under some trim at the bottom of the car by the rear passenger tire. Looks like damage from a lift. E350 has low profile tires and no other possibility that would have caused that damage without getting hung up an a curb.

I would give them 6 stars if I could. I have been taking both my vehicle and my sons vehicle to Golden Rule since they took over the Wylie location. We always receive friendly service and honest quotes. You will not find a repair shop with higher integrity run, honesty and great service anywhere. On a number of times, they have done repairs and if theres any issue later on, they will completely honor the workmanship and replacement of parts. Golden Rule is by far the best auto repair shop I have ever been fortunate enough to do business with. The staff is exceptional. Graham and Johnny are fantastic guys to work with. I was told by several other shops that I needed struts on front and back of my 2011 Ford expedition. A friend of mine who knows a lot about cars said I did not need them. I wasn’t sure what to do and was recommended to Golden rule by a friend who has use them on multiple cars. They looked at my car and confirmed with my friend had told me… One of my four has ever so slight leak that is not in need of replacement ... just watch it! And they also went over my car and told me other things I need to watch for. I am grateful to have learned about this shop. They also fixed my sons car when someone else told him his engine was ready to blow! Costed my son $500!... A far cry from replacing a blown engine!!

A welcoming place to get the service you need. What was promised on the phone appointment was exactly what they would do when you showed up in store. That, l believe, is what sets this place apart from other shops.I called to schedule a pre-purchase inspection on a 2018 Hyundai Elantra for my son. They said they would do that for free. Other nearby shops I called, would charge $99.00.When we showed up, they checked us in right away, told us how long it would take and kept us electronically updated on the progress of the work. And the cost for all that?? - $00.00. Waiting in their well spaced out waiting room with hot coffee makes the whole experience very special. I would make them my go to place to get service from now on. They live up to their name!!

Great group of men here! They are honest and explain things. I went here when I smelled an odor after having oil change somewhere else. These guys found it was a hose that wasnt hooked up correctly at oil change amd oil was coming out, that was the odor! They reattached hose and cleaned off oil in engine, and didnt charge me to this help! Come here when you need car repair help!

Today a friend drove me to Wylie, to test-drive a used car for sale there and I needed an expert opinion, before buying it. I drove this used car over to Golden Rule Auto Care for their (free) pre-purchase inspection.My friend and I both left that auto shop in total shock!! It has been decades since either of us had experienced such amazing customer service. As busy as they were; they squeezed my used car in and did an extremely detailed report on the condition of that car.. they SAVED me from making a GIANT mistake! So I did not buy that car, but when I do make a car purchase, I know that this auto shop is where all of my car maintenance and repairs will be done. The friend that drove me there will also start bringing her car there too.Ive never experienced that quality of honest care for my own best interests from any business.. they treat people like family.

Excellent service with exceptional work! I had a very specific need for a hitch to put on my Jeep Grand Cherokee, and when I first went to Golden Rule they said that they didnt sell what I was wanting to do, but I should check with a dealer to see if it existed. I called a dealer, and it did in fact exist. I ordered it through the dealer, and when I asked how much the dealer wanted to install it they told me it would be $975! I literally laughed at the guy...! So, I called back Golden Rule and they said they most likely could install it, but just to be sure I should bring it by so they could be 100%. When they checked it out they said they could do it, and that I also needed a wiring harness that wasnt in the kit. They were able to order me a Mopar wiring harness (OEM), and installed the hitch for $365 (they gave me a military discount)! It looks great, it works great... absolutely no difference from what Id expect from a dealer... except for a dealers absurd price! Golden Rule hooked me up from start to finish!
